ALV gird in editable error mode

Hi Experts,
I generated an ALV grid format program,it's working fine,but i have one requirement i put one create button to enter the records,so if user enter the already existing record it shows error and the error row will be in editable mode and the remaining rows are grade out like in SM30(Table maintainance generator) if click the new entries,then if u enter the already existing recors it's shows error along with grade out the remaining rows.

Hi,
You cannot insert any new record in ALV grid display. For your requirement you should use table control. The edit and grayed functionaly like SM30 can be easily handled through table control.

Hi Ravi Raju
     In alv you can edit, add and append rows. First you have to initialize the ALV usage in WDDOINIT method of the view in which SALV_WD_TABLE is added as component usage. Then you have to disable the read only attribute of the ALV. If you set the property to abap_false, then append, insert, delete buttons will be added automaticaly. Then you can set the appropriate cell editor for each column.

Change Editable ALV to Un Editable

HI,
I need to change the Editable fields of my ALV into non Editable based on a User Action .
My Scenario goes as follows.
I have four Fields in My internal Table.
A B C D.
Only Field C is Editable when the first time ALV is displayed for the records in Database.
If a User wants to create a Row All the Fields will be in editable Mode for the newly appended row
Now If the user Hits Enter or Save button I want to make the editable Status of the Newly added ones look like the Same as records in Database.
i.e. Only Field C must be Editable
I tried Using the method REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY of the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID but of no use.

ALV Tree with editable checkbox

Hi all,
I have a ALV Tree with editable checkbox (for all the parent & leaf nodes) , as one of the column.On clicking of a button in toolbar , i should get the nodes which are checked in checkbox.
But the problem is i am not able to get the nodes which are checked through checkbox in the PAI of the screen,when the button is clicked.
I tried using

ALV from Display to Change Mode

Hello,
I created an application that starts with a selection screen and then the user selects either a Create/Change/Display. Then a call screen is done in which i added an ALV with some editable fields.
The point is that when the user first selects 'Display' the ALV is all in the display mode. If he makes a BACK then goes to 'Change' the ALV is still displayed in the output mode. and vice-versa.
Is there a reason for this??

->To make a column editable, it will be sufficient to set the field EDIT in the field catalog. The ALV Grid perceives if there are some editable fields and adds buttons for editing purposes. If you do not need these new buttons, you know how to exclude them.
->To make individual cells editable, we will utilize the table we used for making a cell a pushbutton. As you remember, it was of type LVC_T_STYL. If you have not added this inner table, add it now. For this procedure; add the name of the field to the field FIELDNAME, and pass cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_style_enabled to make a field editable and cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_style_disabled to make a field non-editable, to the field STYLE. You can use the one with disable when you make an entire column editable and want just a few of cells along it non-editable.

Conditionally setting fields to be editable or non-editable
->As usual, cell based settings override entire column settings. You can dynamically switch between cases in any proper part of your execution. Just fill your inner table as required and refresh table display; for entire column settings, set or unset the property EDIT of the field catalog for the column and reset the field catalog using set_frontend_fieldcatalog.
->As the last condition to be met for editability, you must call the method set_ready_for_input passing 1 to the parameter i_ready_for_input.
Using this method you can switch between editable and non-editable mode. As you guess, passing 0 to the parameter while calling the method, switches to non-editable mode.

we can execute the session in the below 2 ways
1) Through SM35 we can process the session manually in foreground/Error mode or Background also.
2) through RSBDCSUB (standared Program) we can process the session in back ground.
But i want to process the session in foreground or Error mode..Do we have any standared program for process the session in foreground or error mode.

Maybe the answer to your question is just to use CALL TRANSACTION ... USING ... (see the example in RSBDCCTU). You can also generate such a program using transaction SHDB

get all the modified entries and store them in an internal table and udpate them in to the required transaction or your custom table.

here u need to 2 performs for PF status and USER_COMMAND in the ALV parameters.
create a custom PF status and create push buttons and assign your ok codes in your PF status.
if the field has to be edited in the ALV then pass EDIT = 'X' for that field in the fieldcatlog preparation.

Issue Description :- Current QM control key for supplier validation date is “0001”, the message mode is only warning. PR or PO still can be created forcibly. Need create a new control key, which message control is “error mode”, then PR or PO cannot be created successfully.
I thing should add some additional logic using BADI or USER-EXIT.
can please help me how to find BADI or USER-EXIT if you know the appropriate BADI please let me know.

Editing Error when trying to edit in Photoshop Elements

Hello all,
I received a strange error message when I tried to edit a photo in Photoshop Elements from Aperture. The message is as follows:
*"Editing Error*
*This image cannot be rendered for editing because Aperture does not support the image format."*
I've never received this message before and I find it strange that Aperture gives you Tiff and PSD with both regular and 16bit options only to tell you later that it doesn't support that format.
Any ideas why this might be happening?
I'm currently running 10.6, Aperture 2.1.4, and PE 6.0

This issue has been reported and acknowledged by Adobe at the bug reporting/feature request site. Please go there and add yourself to the long list of users experiencing the problem and vote on the thread:

Aperture 3.4 plug-ins give Editing Error..

I updated Aperture to 3.4 and as before sharing my iPhoto library.
When I try and use any plug-ins like dfine or others I get the following error.
Editing Error.
One or more of the selected versions has a original files which is still being imported. Please wait for the file to copy to complete and try again.
I tried this with several different plug-ins and many different pictures.
However If I import a picture into the aperture library then I can use the plug-ins but if I try and do it using the iPhoto library I cannot.
Any ideas??

Only the pictures that were importing into iPhoto prior to sharing with Aperture I get:

I am still puzzled by what the difference might be between your and my iPhoto library and plug-ins. As I said, all my plug-ins work well, when I open an iPhoto library from Aperture. It must either be something specific to your plug-ins (that is why I keep asking for the version number of your plug-ins - are they confirmed releases for Aperture 3.4.3 and Mt. Lion?) or something different in your iPhoto Libraries. Are your iPhoto libraries referenced? Mine are managed. And my iPhoto libraries have been originally created in very early iPhoto versions and upgraded to iPhoto '11.

Partner, group editing error

All well and good for all. Fortnight flay the classic model. My problem is the following. Partner or group of Irish editing error "The partner can name up to 9 characters in length." Have you tried everything out of 8 characters, 10 characters + - I can not save the contact changes. Error ?????

I suggest downloading Digital Rebellion's Preference Manager and using it to delete your preferences.
If that doesn't solve the crashes, create a test library by holding down the option key when you launch FCP X and see whether it is possible to work normally in that library.

Editing error

I never had problems with htese photos before, but now I am getting the following error when trying to launch either NIK pug-ins or Photoshop CS5 from Aperture:
Editing Error: this image cannot be rendered for editing because aperture dies not support the image format
Anyone familiar with this and how to fix it?

What kind of file is it? (i.e.jpeg, Canon RAW, Nikon RAW etc..)
As a workaround until you get the issue fixed, why not reimport the image from the original file, lift and stamp any adjustments you've made in Aperture, and see if the same problem occurs?

Thats the message that appears when I'm exporting to Photoshop CS5 (I tried CS4 too), or even other Plug-ins such as Silver Efex Pro...
That had never happened before, and I use Aperture for over 2 years.
Its RAW image format from the same camera and all, nothing has changed. just randomly decided not to export anymore to other programs, Regular exporting works, so it's nothing to do with exporting it self, but the communication between aperture and other softwares, I think.
I've seen some other people having the same problem, does anyone have a take on it, in how to solve this? I can't edit anymore outside of aperture. (of course not including the idea of exporting and doing everything away from aperture, which is totally not viable with the amount of content to be edited and not being in aperture anymore.)
I've tried deleting the preferences, tried repair permissions of the Library, and still didn't work.
Didn't go to the other 2 options (repair and rebuild database) because it would take days if chosen, and still not sure that would solve. or if has anything to do with.
Any light anyone?

What kind of file is it? (i.e.jpeg, Canon RAW, Nikon RAW etc..)
As a workaround until you get the issue fixed, why not reimport the image from the original file, lift and stamp any adjustments you've made in Aperture, and see if the same problem occurs?
