Alv grid problem quantity zero not displaying

Hi
i am displaying quantity fields kwmeng and bmeng in alv, in code am subtracting the two quantities,
the final subtracted value is displaying in alv when it is >0, when it is equal to zero ,it is displaying blank .

Urgent : Problem with Editable ALV Grid for Quantity and Currency Fields

Hi All,
I am using Editable ALV Grid display and have quantity and value as editable fields in the display.
When user changes these values these values are not changing properly .
For the quantity field the domain is MENG13 with 3 deciamal places and here if we enter 500 it takes it as 0.500 .
The same problem is for the currency field. Here the Domain is WERT7 with 3 decimal places.
Here also it takes last 2 digits after decimal places by default.
Please advice how to get proper values in this case from ALV editable fields.

for all the currency field , it will display like that only.
u have to manipulate uin program before displaying.
if they are giving 500, in program multiply with 100 and move it to table.
when u are getting from table, divinde and display.
this is what I am doing.

ALV GRID Problem with reading contents

Hi there! I'm quite new with ABAP and I have some problems with the syntax of it. Maybe I should first describe my aim and then I'll show you my code.
1. I read contents from two database tables, called 'zbc_dan_registry' and 'zbc_dan_category'.
'zbc_dan_registry' has 2 columns: name, value.
zbc_dan_category' has 1 column: category.
Now I want to have an ALV Grid, that displays the contents of 'zbc_dan_registry' and one additional column with dropdown fields, where the user can select a category for each row. This is, what my code already does.
Now I want to save the contents of the whole table in a new table 'zbc_dan_registrz' (you see: 'registrz', not 'registry'!) with 3 columns:
name, category, value.
My problem is, how can I read the contents of the ALV Grid, with the user selected category for each row, and save them in an internal table? I've tried to adapt the code of "BCALV_EDIT_04", but I don't get it running.
Some detailled help would be great, you know, I'm really working hard to understand ABAP, but it's really hard for me. Thanks for your support and help!!

ALV Grid Problem - User command Back Cancel Exit

Hi Guys,
I was trying to use the ALV grid and my problem is, on the grid display, when i try to hit the back button or exit or cancel, then a blank screen appears and i need to hit either back or other buttons one more time to go back to the selection screen.
Is there any thing I am missing here? Please suggest me the solution.

we have 2 options in this case.
1) i think ur using EVENTS_GET function module. If u use sometimes we are facing this kind of problem. i think accroding to my knowliege its bug in SAP....
2) See in debug mode what is the user command for this back button everty time USERCOMMAND FOR BACK BUTTON not 'BACK' .If it ios correct plaese add the code for back button in user command event.
if u dont want to face that problem remove that events_get fm and write the code manually. i am not sure abt ur code.

Double-click in ALV Grid on BDC recording not recorded

Hi,
I'm recording a BDC session in a CRM system to enter a business partner. One of the steps is to choose a marketing attribute. To do this you have to double click on a (read only) ALV grid to select the attribute.
When I record this in SHDB or LSMW, the double click is never recorded?
Anybody else had problems recording a double click in an ALV grid.

Unfortunely, BDC and gui controls do not get along. The ALV_Grid uses a gui control to intereactive with the user. Doing a recording over these kinds of transaction is not suggested for this very reason. You will have to find another way to achieve your result. Is there any BAPI or function module which does this functionality?

ALV Grid Problem in WebGUI

Hi All,
We've created an ALV grid using classes in R3 and we're testing it in WebGUI. All of those scenarios are working fine in R3 however the behavior in WebGUI is different. We're encountering a problem wherein the cellstyles are not being reflected (eg. a particular cell for a particular row should be grayed out if a particular field has this value). Furthermore, if we enter a value in this field, it should automatically populate values for other fields (eg. column name - PERNR. Once pernr is entered; column name - NAME should have a value automatically). Another thing is, the Refresh button is missing in WebGUI. One more problem is that the error message for that particular column was not shown. We're using the add_protocol_entry method, so it should generate a pop-up screen.
Any solution for all these problems? Are these problems limitations of the ALV Grid in WebGUI?

Have a look at example code: BCALV_GRID_01, where they suppress the error by catching it...
If you are using the ABAP Grid Control (OO object), you can still create the ALV list as a spool listing for the background job.
The easiest way to do this is to put all the create object statements and method calls for the custom container and ALV grid object inside a subroutine (for example, present_grid).
All that is required is a simple check of the sy-batch variable to determine if the program is being executed in the foreground or background.
e.g. if sy-batch is initial.

perform present_grid.
endif.
In a PBO module of screen 0100, the subroutine present_grid is also performed.
The set_table_for_first_display method will be invoked in the routine present_grid, however, due to the job being executed in the background, the ALV list output will be written as spool output for the background job.

ALV GRID Tool bar options not working

I copied the standard tool bar into my program with the name 'ZSALV_STANDARD' and displaying the output in the grid format in a container with the method set_table_for_first_display
When I execute the program the standard buttong in the tool bar are not working... Can anyone guide where am I going wrong...

Alv grid problem

Hi,
I m getting one problem in alv grid control.

The o/p is correct but when i press f3 button i got again heading as

This occurs because your output for alv is printed twice.
1st with the header and then with the item.
Try to print the whole at the same time.

ITS 6.20 patch 18 ALV Grid problems

Hi,
We are in the midst of testing the ITS 6.20 patch 18 with EP6 SP12 and we have run into some problems that were not evident with 6.10.
First. With IAC PP_MY_REQUIREMENTS (Requirements Profile) and PP_MY_PROFILEMATCHUP (Profile Matchup), there is now a visible horizontal bar that goes across the whole window. It can be moved up and down. This is not there in 6.10.
Second. With the new PZ31_EWT (Edit Qualifications) transaction, when you select a qualification on the left and it then appears on the right, the dropdown for the ALV grid does not stay droped down when clicked. You have to hold the mouse button, and then when you drag over top of the choice that you want, it doesn't select it, BUT, if you use your arrow keys on the keyboard, it changes the value.
Third. With PV8I (Internal Training), when viewing the Booking Information in the bottom of the screen, the top line/header of the window is only 1/8 visible.
Has anyone run into any of these problems before? Does patch 19 or 20 (when it comes out) solve any of these problems?

Value and quantity is not displaying in Tcode MC.9 for some materials

Dear Sir,
For the material XYZ Material Type is FERT but when I check the stock in MC.9 with material type FERT, it is not displaying any value and quantity but when I donu2019t put any Material Type it is showing me the value with quantity. Even I tried to change the material type to FERT there also it gave me message as "No data exists for chosen selection". Why this massage is showing like this ?

Problem with data not displaying in website

Hello All,
I am having a problem with one of our applications. It is written in ColdFusion and uses SQL server. The problem that we are having is when we use the URL Http://bma.com (that is not actually the site name) we cannot see all the data that it is suppose to pull in. I get an error on page and when I select to view the error this is what I get

If I put the IP address in the URL for example http://165.83.109.246/bma/login.cfm all of the data is displayed as it should.
Any thoughts or sugguestios on how to correct this?

Yes, the user_maintenance.cfm is one of the forms that the data is not displaying on. There are multiple forms in the application and that just happens to be one of them. the login.cfm is just the login screen. Once you select your name and enter your password to the application then you can select the user maintenance form. If you select someones name the application should pull in all of that persons information. That is the problem, it is not pulling in any information on the user. We get a blank screen where data should be. When we use the IP address in the URL and select someones name in the user manintenance form, it pulls in all the data from that user as it should.

JFileChooser problem - it will not display

I have read the tutorial on JFileChoosers and understand the basics, however, my application will simply not display a File Chooser. I select the menu option "open file" and the command prompt window just spews out dozens of garbage. The code is below if there are any FileChooser "Pros" out there. I have done as stated, code compiles/executes but when I select the open file option on my GUI, the command prompt window freezes and no dialogue box is displayed!!!!

I have a problem with some pages not displaying correctly i.e.
SE80 navigation page
F1 help
I am using XP sp2 and we have the latest version of internet explorer 7 (which I cannot uninstall as it is company policy)
SAP version is 6.4c.
I am using SAP Gui 7.10 with the latest patch 710_7.
This is making the system completely unusable for me.
I have read a few forum posts mentioning that upgrading to the latest patch version will resolve this problem, but this clearly has not worked for me.
Can someone please help, how do I actually esculate this to SAP?

I am a SAP developer in ABAP and its related to SE80 which I used to use primarily for editing code (i now have to use se38).
I often use F1 for hints on code etc to use and syntax so it does make it very difficult for me. If there is a more appropriate forum for this please direct me, instead of posting in gibberish english.
Max - I assume you have the same problem and it is also not resolved by the latest patch. I wonder is there a way this can be esculated with SAP?

ALV GRID - export only columns not faded out

Hello,
I hope that this is possible but till now I have no idea.
The request is to provide a download/export function (moving the export file directly to a specific location the user is not allowed to modify-> so standard function not allowed based on specification) which will only export the columns from the ALV GRID which are not faded out.
With the standard files download from the menu bar this is possible.
But how to do this starting with a self defined button?

hi,
if u need a custmozied button with all standard ALV fucntions,
1. goto SE80, under thre function group SALV, there will be GUI_STATUS named as STANDARD.
2. copy that into ur program, and add ur own button in that , then write the code for that by chekcing SY-UCOMM.
