ALV List Layout add new button and modify Append Row Button Text and Logi

Hi All,
I am working on Employee custom development Application in Webdynpro ABAP>
In my ALV list Layout I have to add new two Buttons Top or Bottom of the ALV List.
If I am adding I have to add logic for those Buttons. How to add and add logic for those buttons.
as well as I have to Change the Text for Existing Button ''Append Row'' to "ADD NEW ROWS"
and I have to add logic in this button while Append New Row I have to generate ID no for New Rows .
Kindly help/advice me to proceed further.

At the present time, the only way to clear that is to restore the phone as new. Perhaps a future iOS update will give us the option to clear that cache.

Only if you have a more recent backup with which to restore from - if you've only got the one from 3 months ago then you will be limited to what was on that.

I have created one ABAP screen. In this ABAP screen I can see 'Append Row' button. I want to know what code is executed after this button is clicked.

I have used class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID for creation of the screen. I can see that function = '&LOCAL&APPEND' of method handle_toolbar_set is responsible for creation of this push button.

Editable ALV (CL_GUI_ALV_GRID) Pasting add new rows

Hi all,
I have a problem with OO ALV.
I'm using class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID as I need to have a couple of editable columns.
Let's say that we have columns Material and Quantity. And Quantity is editable.
Toolbar buttons for adding new rows, paste, copy, are all disabled.
Suppose I have 2 rows in the ALV.
If I copy to clipboard from, for example, Excel, more than 2 rows, and paste them in Quantity column of the ALV, the result is that new rows are inserted till all the information in the clipboard is pasted. The new rows have all blank values except for the column I'm pasting.
I do not want this rows inserted. I supposed that this wounldn't happened, as there are no buttons for inserting rows.
Anybody knows how to change this behaviour?

Hi Alejandro,
You can implement your own functionality to create new row.You can add your own button in ALV for New row creation. In another simple way is you place the button in the screen which display the ALV and implement the logic in PAI of the screen.
the logic is simple add new row in the internal table which you are using to display ALV and refresh the ALV.Then your new row will appear in the Grid.

I remember seeing some documentation about the latter, but it wasn't very good. can't figure out how to actually implement something, so need a mentor - and I am a software developer. :-/

When syncing iphone to itunes on new computer, what is erased? Are texts and contacts erased?

I got a new computer and am trying to sync my iphone to it.
I get the message "..this will erase your iphone..." What is earsed? I want to think only the itunes related things (apps, music, videos, etc.)
Are photos erased as well?

You can get Phoneview from http://ecamm.com/mac/phoneview/ which will allow you to move the iPhone content to the computer.
To prevent a sync when plugging in the iPod/iPhone - hold down the 'option' and the 'command' keys when plugging in the iPod/iPhone - key the keys down until the iPod/iPhone is listed under the Devices list in iTunes - this will prevent a sync from taking place and you will be able to change your settings.

Purchases will always download to the computer you are making the purchase from. However, you can set iTunes to automatically sync those purchases to one central comptuer, in your case your home server, so that the purchases will be available to all computers and devices on the network using Home Sharing.
Home Share Sync
Make sure Home Sharing is turned on and working between both computers. Home Sharing is turned on when your can see the name of the other computer in the sidebar of the iTunes window. The icon will look like a house with a musical note on the side. On the computer that will act as the central home server select on of the other Home Share computers in the sidebar then click on the 'Settings…' button on the bottom right-hand side of the iTunes window. In the 'Home Sharing Settings' dialogue box put a checkmark in the box for each type of media you want to have synced between computers. iTunes needs to be running on both computers for the sync to occur. If iTunes is not running at the time of the purchase, sync will occur the next time iTunes is running and can connect to the other computer.
Automatic Store Downloads
On the computer that will act as the central home server go to the iTunes preference panel and select Store on the toolbar. Put a checkmark in the box for the the media types you want to have automatically downloaded from the iTunes Store. Whenever purchases occur on any computer or device with the same iTunes Store account iTunes will automatically download the media to that computer. This method only works for Music, App and Book purchases.

HT1766 I replaced an iPhone4 with 5 and restored it, lost recent texts and other info

I replaced an iPhone4 with iPhone 5. The 4 hadnt been backed up to laptop in about 4 months. I plugged my new 5 into my laptop, iTunes came up and I chose to restore it (instead of setting up as new phone, which I thought would cause me to lose all my info). I guess this was the wrong choice since it looks like all recent info is gone. Is there any way to get back the past 4 months worth of texts/info that is now gone?

Do you still have your iPhone 4, and, if so, does it still have your current info?
If so, you can back it up, then clear your iPhone 5 by doing Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings
Then you would be shown the iPhone (5) Setup Assistant, which would again allow you to restore from a backup. This time, the backup would be more current.

"Other" is not old text and notes. Some "Other" is there for a purpose, but if it gets too big, it probably caused by corrupt data. Doing a restore of your phone is the normal route. Make sure (as I am sure you do regularly anyway) you backup everything before doing the restore.

I can no longer speak and woud like to use my Ipad Air 2 WiFi Cellular to serve as a texting device to replace my phone. Will using my cell number and Talkatone allow me to text and receive text as I do on my phone?

A laryngectomy has left me unable to speak over my cell. I still need to communicate via text and would like to use one device. I have an Ipad Air 2 WiFi + Cellular that I use to write messages on and would like to know if adding the ap Talkatone and using my cell number will allow me to use my Ipad as my one communication device and not have to carry my phone any more.

How to add new class in modified template...

Finally I have encourage myself to scratch to (for me deepest darkwood) templates...
I have modified original Theme 2 to My theme 2 and added in some tempaltes region my parts-looks promising.
Now I want to create sidebar region that is 450 px wide.
It should be the same sidebar region but with different width!
I saw on file system that there is .css so I add this class in it....(as aspected) it is not shown in template class list...
I am able to apply that new class to template, but I cannot see that class in "Template Class" LOV (in Edit Region Template form).
Is that important and could this bee seen in that list?

What is still bothering me is that I have editeted "theme_V2.css" file. I'm plannig to put my app on hosted WEB site in Germany, where this file will not be the same as is on my server.

Can't you add new songs to an old playlist in iTunes and update your iPod?

I made a playlist a few days ago and yesterday wanted to add about 10 songs to it. I dragged the new songs into the playlist and they all appear in iTunes. I then updated my iPod and headed off to work. However, once I got to work I noticed that the playlist was still the same and the new songs were not on it. Shouldn't they have been?

Are you using automated iPod sync or manual? If you dragged the original playlist to the iPod (manual), then you have to manually update the iPod contents with the new entries.
An auto sync method should automatically load the new entries from the iTunes playlist to the iPod. Did you change the name of the playlist? Check the iPod Options area to verify your sync settings (right-click on the iPod in the iTunes Source list on the left).
