ALV Toolbar on modal dialog screen and toolbar on text edit control

Hello,
I have created one container and producing ALV Grid output on a modal dialog screen. i do not want the ALV Toolbar to appear on this screen. How can I hide it ?
ALso I need to hide some buttons on a Text edit control. How can I hide them ?

I need to save the changes made to the text in my Text Edit Control, i know how to handle the Save command but my problem is the SAVE button doesn't appear in the Toolbar of the Text Editor. I have searched through the SDN but in all of those threads they already have the SAVE button and hence only the logic was discussed. But i need the SAVE button to appear in my Text Edit Control. Check the demo program SAPSCRIPT_DEMO_NOTE_EDITOR what ever you enter in the editor you get the text using method
call method note_editor->get_text_as_stream

Module Pool - Error message on a Modal Dialog screen with input

Hello All,
I have a modal dialog screen which is called on F4 help of a input field. This dialog screen has radio buttons on it to select. On selection, we check if the user is authorized to that option. If not, raise and error message with command MESSAGE msgid.....
When the error message pops-up and when clicked ok on it, the radio buttons on the modal dialog screen gets disabled. I want to have the modal dialog box to be able to accept the new radio button as input.
Can anyone please suggest.

Put all of your Radio buttons in the CHAIN ... ENDCHAIN with one module.
CHAIN.
 FIELD rb1.
 FIELD rb2.
 FIELD rb3.
 MODULE check_chain ON CHAIN-REQUEST. "<< implement logic in check_Chain
ENDCHAIN.
If you want, you can even disable the options before displaying the screen. Do all necessary checks in the PBO and based on that disable the options.

BDC for Modal dialog screen

Hello,
I'm creating a bdc for create customer transaction (FD01). The problem I'm currently having is on maintaining the "other communication" details for the customer. The requirement I have is to maintain only the communication type "URI". But I can't find the correct program and screen number for this modal dialog. anyone have an idea?

Hi, thanks for all the reply. However, everything has been tried. The modal screen dialog I was refering at does not contain any program or screen details when I use F1. This screen does not appear in SHDB when doing the recording. SAPLSLVC_FULLSCREEN/0700 is not the screen I'm refering at.
When you click on the "Other Communication", there will appear the screen I'm refering at having the list of all other communication type you need to maintain (Fax, Telephone, E-mail, URI). This screen is somehow similar the way serach help functions. I'm basically concern on URI. So what I need to do is place the cursor on URI and click on the check button or double cliking URI is ok. This is the part missing on my bdc, choosing the URI in the modal dialog screen. Upon debugging, it seems that a Function is responsible in displaying the screen.Any idea?

yeah do a restriction and in the restriction screen fill in the variable to be restricted on and save and run query and this dialog screen will pop up

Why do I get a full screen window of the "Text Edits" tool...?

I got Acrobat 8 and when I mark some text with the Text Edits tool and afterwards types som replacements, I just get one big pop-up box filling the whole screen instead of the normal sized in the left margin as usual. And I am not able to see what I'am typing since this kinda lies outside the screen picture. Is this a matter of settings - or a bug, or anyone else tried the same?
Memebers of my work group use the same version with the same updates without problems.

HT2523 My screen is frozen in text edit ( the swirling lollipop) how do I close the screen or exit

While using text edit my screen froze, now I have the spinning beach ball, or spinning lollipop, but I cannot close the text edit screen. I was transferring data from a web sit when this occurred perhaps too much data??? made this happen not sure but I resorted to using Pages which I am not familiar with at all. Any instructions and explanation would be appreciated. Thank you.

Controlling position of + and – when adding text size controls

Dear gurus,
I am trying to sort my text size controls (+ and –) and
have managed to get them to resize but I can't get them to sit
together. At the moment, visually it says
Resize text then there is a big gap and there's the minus
(–) then the plus (+) is pushed over onto the next line. I've
tried my best but I simply don't have the knowledge to fix the
problem.
I have attached the code, see below (it may be full of
mistakes so, don't laugh).
Can you help and have I given you enough info?

@dkg62 – to make clear what's going on, select the text frame and show us another screenshot.
There are at least four cases where you can get a text like that. All cases imply, that the font you'd like to use is missing. I simulated this by formatting text with a font weight that is not available by a character style.
1. The most likely case: There is baseline shift applied; here in my case 9pt.
All other cases are academical, because the pink highlighting is aligned with the text:
2. Text frame options, baseline set to a fixed value (zero in this case)
3. Text on path and the text frame options (baseline) is just the standard default. You can see a second #-end of story sign inside the text frame.
4. Text on path and the text frame options (baseline) is set to fixed (zero in this case). The second #-sign inside the text frame is shifted above because of the fixed value of the baseline option of the text frame options. And obscured by the pink highlighting.

Dialog Screen and WRITE.

I have create an ABAP program.. which CALL SCREEN 100. This screen 100 is design using Graphical Screen Painter. I have create an push button on it. When the button is press, I try to do some logic behind and want to do a WRITE statement but somehow.. the screen never print out the WRITE statement. Is there anyway to do it?

WRITE statement wont work on screen painter.
Create a LABEL i.e. a TEXT FIELD and assign a name to it say 'RESULT' in Screen Layout.
Acitvate the screen.
In the PAI, when Push button is pressed

When I try to edit an event in my Icloud calander it keeps going off the screen and I can't edit it

How do I stop this from happening?? I can't edit my events as I can't access the screen as it's off the screen. HELP! It's driving me crazy!

Converting .docx files to .eps and keeping the text editable (not outlines)?

I'm trying to batch convert a number of .docx files that each contain figures that have been created in Word (boxes, lines etc) in Acrobat 9 Pro to .eps.
I can create an .eps, using the document processing (batch processing) route, but when I open the files in Illustrator CS5 all of the editable text in the document has been converted to outlines. Ideally, I want to keep the text in the figure editable (and to create a slightly smaller file size)
I have checked the convert from PDF settings for Encapsulated PostScript and it shows 'Convert Text to Outlines' as false, the transparency settings have also been setup not to convert to outlines), can anyone help?

My thinking behind doing it via Acrobat 9 Pro was that I could take say 20 .docx files and via the document process function automatically convert them straight to .eps without having to make the PDF first. I also find using this route that I have an .eps that is already cropped to the four edges of the images (with no hidden characters making the image frame larger than the actual four edges of the figure).
When I import a PDF into Illustrator, I find that I'm getting the end of paragraph (hidden) markers from Word appearing (normally at the end of the image in Word, and some also appear before the figure where the author has hit return a few times). I then have to manually remove them so that the artboard fits to the four edges of the image. I guess I'm just trying to save a little time without having to go back into 20+ files and tidy them up by removing this character.

Dialog Screen - Invalid field format (screen error)

I have developed a modal dialog screen and succesfully invoked it with CALL SCREEN command in the main screen. Unfortunately, it always returns "Invalid field format (screen error)" when clicking on the dialog's GUI control such as button or radio button. Anyone encountered this before??

Hi KK,
Just make sure that the fields take on the screen are also declared in the top module of your program.
And also match their data-types and size i.e., declared in top module and on the screen in their respective attributes.

Calling Selection Screen in Modal dialog box

Hi Experts.
I have created screen 9000 having user interface and in tool bar there is create button in the screen 9000
The create button 9001 will call another screen with different I/O fields (9001 is Modal dialog screen).
In the 9001 there is push button for which the selection screen is called 9002.
I have declared 9002 as subscreen and called the screen 9002 in user command.
In the Screen 9001 when user clicks the push button i need to get pop up screen where the user select some data.
How i need to do ?
I am getting error can't call subscreen in modal dialog box.

Screen sequence processing when using modal dialog box

I have been struggling with a dialog program which I have written. I have a screen which has 2 radiobuttons and a check box (screen 100). If the checkbox is marked, a modal dialog screen pops up (screen 150). If I complete both input fields on screen 150, I can go through to screen 200, then back out of screen 200 to screen 100, and then I can back out 100 to screen 0.
The problem I have is the validation I have put in screen 150 if one or both input fields have no values or if I want to exit screen 150. If I exit screen 150, in order to get back to screen 100 in the main screen I need to do CALL SCREEN 100 as if I use SET SCREEN 100, 100 then appears in my modal dialog box screen.
If I try to back out of screen 100 to screen 0, the program then brings up screen 150 in the PAI part of the module and then go to screen 0 when I close screen 150 even though I have coded SET SCREEN 0. LEAVE SCREEN. in the user command module of screen 100. Here is my code:

Have got around this by removing the references to SET SCREEN 150. This way, I can get around the screen sequencing. It just means that I cannot keep my screen 150 in view if a validation message occurs but for now it will do for what I need.
