Am i supposed to have yahoo in my firefox toolbar? I keep getting a virus which attacks all my .exe files . on one of my computers i have the yahoo, but not on the other one.

the pull down menu list at the top of my firefox window has file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, yahoo!, tools, and help. on my other computer, my firefox does not have this in the pull down menu. is this a valid option for firefox? i keep getting a virus and wonder if it's from the yahoo?

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

Are you using FCPX? It doesn't have a canvas. Do you really mean one frame, like 1/30th of a second? Add a custom generator underneath the logo. Make it whatever color you want. Make it however short you want.

You are probably looking in the wrong place - all photos in Photo view and in event too unless you have a corrupted library
most common cause of your not finding them is bad sort - view menu ==> sort events
Nest most common cause is a bad data/time on the camera - this can be corrected using a smart album to find the photos from that camera and then using using the adjust time/date command to fix the bad ones
YOu can alwasy find the event a Photo is in by selecting it and selecting show event

Unfortunately, the drive is pretty much restricted without hacking it. That is, you can't stream its content via standardized protocols like UPnP, SMB, FTP and the like. This makes you won't be able to access its content from any third-party apps otherwise capable of playing back AVI files from UPnP / SMB / FTP / WebDAV etc. sources.
While this is certainly not a recommendation (I can in no way be held responsible if anything goes wrong): you may want to consider extending the capabilities of the drive by installing the hack: http://www.hackseagatesatellite.com/wordpress/welcome/
It'll "open" the drive for third-party, AVI-capable multimedia apps like GoodPlayer, It's Playing etc. to directly play the files over the network.

Hey thanx for the help, it worked like a charm.
I think firefox changed the application lay out, as I used to be able to choose my PDF opener from the list at " Adobe Acrobat Forms Document' where I could choose Nitro-PDF reader, but it has now moved all the way to the bottom like you suggested to the obvious place of "Portable Document Format" section.
If someone didn't tell me , I wouldn't have scrolled all the way down to be able to find it... it really should be with all its cousins up the top...

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your best method would be to connect via USB and transfer that way, since videos are not transferred using photostream.
However you can stop photos on your mac being added to photostream in the iPhoto preferences > photostream by unchecking the automatic upload box.

I grasp that you uninstalled the Intel graphic driver and the catalyst control. You reinstalled the Intel driver and now you can view and hear videos on the Internet but you are unable to set the resolution as high as previously.
When I checked the specifications for your notebook I see that you have switchable graphics.
Here are two links that I believe will help.

Please try this process.
1. Download the chipset driver, and both graphic drivers and save them but do not install them yet
2, Delete the chipset driver and install the updated one.
3. restart your notebook
4.Delete the Intel driver and install the updated one
5. restart your notebook
6. Delete the AMD driver and install the updated driver.
You should now have a Catalyst Control Center.
This should now allow you to use the higher graphic card which should support the higher resolution.

SQL patch mismatch: Installed in the PDB but not in the CDB - how to correct?

I have a 12.1.0.1 database in which I wanted to migrate a number of PDBs to AL32UTF character set. To do this I created a second (temporary) database with the correct characterset, unplugged and re-plugged each PDB and ran the DMA U to migrate the PDBs - all went well.
I then dropped the first database and built another again with the correct characterset.
When I unplug and replug the PDBs from the temporary to the new database I get the following PDB violation:
PDB_ACPT_CLONE SQL patch 19648840 mismatch: Installed in the PDB but not in the CDB.
This patch had been applied to the original database and then rolled back before the temporary and new databases were created.

Are you sure all PDBs were open when the patch was applied?
The more common issue is when one version of Apex is installed in the root and a different version installed in a PDB and the PDB is plugged in.

It sounds like your issue here is that iTunes can not find the files for some of the songs you have brought into it. This happens occasionally even if the songs have not been moved from the location that iTunes places them on import or purchase. When you try to use the song, iTunes prompts you to find the file, as you have seen.
To find the file, use the information in this article to navigate through the iTunes media folders -
Locate and organize your iTunes files
If you are still unable to locate the files, you may need to download them from the iTunes store again, or rip them from your CDs. See this article for assistance with downloading your past purchases -
