  • ECS Is getting Inventorized As well Getting Credited for Assets

    Hi Experts,
The following Scenario is for Procurement of Assets:
While doing the MIGO the amount in ECS is getting inventorized.  In Excise Invoice ECS is also getting debited in RG23A accounts.
The ECS amount is getting doubled as there two entiries
    1) Inventorized Duty
    2)Cenvate Account -- RG23A ECS Debit.
Account Key Used in TAXIN procedure for ECS is Deductible.
For Raw Materials the entries are following the right way. The same procedure applies for everything.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

  • GRR reference not getting updated in J1IEX

    Hi All,
We are capturing part 1 entry at our factory gate through j1iex_c.Then doing Goods receipt at stores through MIGO.
Now when we see vendor excise invoice in j1iex grr reference is not getting updated.
    Awaiting responses.
    Sandeep

    Hi,
As per my knowledge we can capture the excise after receiving the goods only.
so your requirement is not possible . because we can post  the excise   with reference to vendor excise invoice number only it was given at the time of g/r in migo only.
    Thanking you.

  • TDS amount getting wrong reverse in f-54

    Hi experts
As per my knowledge tds is deducting twice. At the time of advance payment and invoice booking. and tds amount whichever is lower is getting reverse in f-54. But in my present scenario tds which is deducted at the time of invoice booking is getting reverse instead of tds which is deducted at the time of advance payment and i also check the tds amount is lower than tds amount of invoice.
This scenario has been occurred for only one vendor, In case of other vendors, its looks correct.
    Please advise me .

  • CVD VALUE GETTING INVENTORIZED IN IMPORT PO

    Hi Friends,
In my Factory based stock transport PO  for import purchase, I have mentioned CVD and EDB condition type. When I take receipt of the material, for the oubound delivery (plant A to plant B) , the CVD value is getting inventorised. Since I will be getting cenvat for this value , I  want that not to add this value in the invetory value i.e. cost of the material. What settings is required so that this value donot add up in the material cost . I heard that CVD condition can be statistical and then JEDB can be calculated on it. Does anybody have got idea about this.
Or    can  anyone suggest any other alternate for this scenario.
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    Atul K

    hi
CVD doesnt add to the material cost ,it is the customs duty which get inventorised
now ru doing STO or what
if it is the import purchase at a plnt then check following
in ur pricing u have to create following
    JCDB IN: Basic Custom Duty
    JCV1 IN : CVD
JECV IN : Ed Cess on CVD
    J1CV IN : H&SECess on CVD
JEDB IN : Ed Cess on BCD
JSDB IN : H&SECess on BCD
    JADC Additional Duty of Custom
JCV1, JECV, J1CV and JADC will go to Excise MODVAT Accounts and JCDB, JEDB and JSDB will get loaded on inventory.
    In M/06, for all above conditions, keep following controls;
Cond. class A (Discount or surcharge) Plus/minus A (Positive)
    Calculat.type A (Percentage)
    Cond.category B (Delivery costs)
    Activate "Currency Conversion" and "Accrual"
    Now for setoff
maintain the following conditions in excise default settings.
    JCV1, JECV, JADC
    path: spro>logistic general >tax on goods movements>India >basic settings>determination of excise duty >maintain excise defaults >
along with ur tax procedure maintain these conditions in the specified fields
    JCV1 in CVD condition field.
    JECV in ECS condition field.
    JADC in ACD condition field.
in case of SECess on CVD, no need to maintain.
it is hardcode in the standard
Vendor in GR 2 (Entry always possible)
    Import scenario
1.Create material master of import goods.
    2. Create vendor master record of import vendor and Customs clearing vendor.
    3. Maintain CIN settings.
    4. Maintain J1id.
    5. Maintain Pricing procedure SAP standard JIMPOR.., maintain required conditions..JCDB, JCV1...
6.Assign the schema to respective import vendor in purchasing view of VMR.
    7. Create import PO, check in conditions of JCDB, JCV1 the customs clearing vendor(Indian vendor) and percentage is assigned. This can be done by In condition tab select condtion then click on display, then enter.
    Save the PO.
    8. MIRO --Capture Bill Of Entry.(Commercial Invoice No.,).Customs clearing first .Here CVD will b converted to BED.
    9. Capture Excises invoice--j1iex.
    10.MIGO.
    12.Post Excise Invoice.
    13.MIRO...Payment to vendor(import vendor)
    PLEASE EXPLAIN THE SCENARIO

    Hi Trivedi,
Check whether you have done the "Customs MIRO" in INR.
Additionally read this note carefully, the J1IEX part and check whether anything is missing.

  • VAT amount get fixed for all the miro

when i am doing a miro, in the VAT G/L i am getting a fixed amount of VAT value i.e RS 29500.00. i have check in mking out 10 MIro . but the VAT  value remain fixed.what should i do
    regard
    nabil

    Hi,
VAT value is flowing from purchase order & VAT value depending the tax code available in the purchase order. You can check VAT value as % in FTXP t.code or FV13 with combination of tax code & VAT condition type.
As you are getting same vale of VAT now in MIRO(same vale of VAT should not come for all PO in MIRO), may be purchase orders are having same quantity. Now just cross check again & again by doing MIRO with other purchase orders without posting, just carry out simulate document, check accounting entries.

  • Pricing question! "buy x amount, get one free" type items

    Hi all,
I've been going through all of the portal but I haven't found anyone who has mentioned the ability to make this functionality work. We have a customer who would like to make an item where you can do a true buy 5, get one free type. There are many different names for this but nothing came up on any searches. It isn't a true discount percentage as the first 5 items are still at the original sale amount, we just want to include the 6th item at no charge.
We've been thinking of different methodologies to alert a sales employee when they select the item, but really we'd like it to work like the hierarchies and expansions. Any input would be appreciated, thanks!!

  • Whenever I change my credit card related details, amount gets debited

Hi, multiple times amount has got debited for changing the card details. Is this the way iTunes Store works ?

I don't change my cards very often, but if I do, I usually see it as a $1 hold, not an actual charge in my credit card on-line statement.  It would never show up on an actual paper statement.
Contact your bank if the hold has not been removed, 2 months is too long.  If the issue is a $5 payment for a product you don't think you purchased, then contact iTunes, although I have never had that happen.

  • Sale order commitment amount not getting reduced

    Dear Experts
Once the Sale order is created the SO committment amount gets updated in reports  (commitment Vs Actual report) with"Forecast of Revenue" and Amount type 0100 (Original).
But after creation of Billing document (actuals) the same  'Forecast of Revenue'  (commitment amount ) is not getting reduced with Amount type (0200). FM document is generated at the time of Billing document generation and the same is showing in reports from Invoice side.
The same cycle is happening in MM i.e, once PR/PO commitment will get reduced after actuals were happened.
    Ex:
Ref doc     Item     Val.type text                       Amt type     Payment bdgt
    100000     10     Forecast of Revenue     0100          100
    20000     2     Invoices                          0100          100
Why SO commitment is not getting reduced in SD module?. Because of this reports are showing wrong.
    Kindly suggest.
    Thanks in advance

    Dear Mar
Thanks for the support and tried all the possible ways but not able to find out the reaon:
    a. FM Accounts assignments (CI, FC,Fund and BP) are same both Sale order and Billing documents.
    b. There is no exits are activated.
    c. It is happening all the sale orders and the reduction is completly missing.
    d. For your reference please find the below commitment and Actuals report (FMRP_RFFMTO10X ).
Ref doc       Val.type text                    Amount type      CI              FC                Amount
    100107       Forecast of Revenue              0100           100           ABC                 100
    256487       Invoices                                   0100           100           ABC                 100
Because of this when we check budget report the consumed amount is showing Rs. 200/-
    e. And also we don't have any PGI concept, only after Sale order creation direct billing document will be generated.
Kindly suggest is there any configuration missing issue or something else.

  • Excise Duty Base Amount in J1IEX in case of Import Purchasing

While posting Excise Invoice in case of Import Purchasing, duty values are coming from CVD, ACD, CVD Ecess & CVD SEcess. But I am not able to understand from where "Excise Duty Base Amount" is coming in J1IEX.
Can anyone throw light on this?
    Thanks in advance

This is known that CVD, ACD, CVD Ecess & CVD SEcess are coming from PO u2013 MIRO and Excise default (in SPRO).
But my question is from where u201CExcise Duty Base Amountu201D is coming as it is neither maintained in PO nor in MIRO.
    Can anyone help?

  • Trouble trying to get correct AP Check Amount total on a report

Okay, the challenge is to try and explain my situation well. I am in Discoverer Plus. I am working to develop a Discoverer report that will show, for accounts payable application, a summary report by bank name and job number, a check count, invoice count, and check amount total. For simplicity sake, since I have the problem once I go past one table, I am dealilng with tables ap_checks_all and ap_invoice_payments_all from EBS, the tables joined on check id. Now, if I work just with the ap_checks_all table, I can easily get the correct sum of check amounts (column name in the table is AMOUNT). However when I bring in the invoice payments table, then I run into trouble. I first did the SUM data point for AMOUNT, and got a number that was way too high. Figured out that is because anytime I have multiple invoices on a check (which is most of the time), the check amount gets added in for each invoice. So if check amount is $100.00 and the check pays 5 invoices, $500.00 is added to the total amount, instead of the just the $100.00.
So I tried the SUM_DISTINCT function next - SUM_DISTINCT(AMOUNT). Got me a lot closer, but now my total was too low. Figured out that was because if I had separate checks with the same check amount, that check amount only gets added in one time. Say Check 18 is for $100.00 and Check 39 is for $100.00, I only get $100.00 into the total instead of $200.00. Which when you think about it, is exactly what the SUM_DISTINCT function means. Since the chances of check amounts being duplicated are low, that is why I get close to the right number, but when dealing with tens of thousands of checks, check amount duplication does happen.
So on my totals for the SUM_DISTINCT column, I finally figured out that a CELL SUM got me closer to the right number. I only had a problem now when, on the same bank name and job number, would still have duplicate check amounts at that key (group by) status level. Percentage wise, my error is low - off maybe $200,000 out of $180,000,000. So close to the right number, yet so far.
The same thing happens in raw SQL. If you think about the raw join result, you can see what is happening -
    check 1, check 1 amount, invoice 1
    check 1, check 1 amount, invoice 2
    check 2, check 2 amount, invoice 3
    check 3, check 3 amount, invoice 4
So if you do SUM(CHECK AMOUNT), well yeah, it will add in the check 1 amount twice.
If you do SUM_DISTINCT(CHECK AMOUNT), then check 1 amount only gets counted once. Great. Ahh, but what if check 3 amount = check 1 amount? Oops, the check 3 amount is excluded.
Does anyone know of a way to get around this problem? I have been playing around with the functions, but the SQL reference does not give many examples to help understand all the various optional parameters. I know, in vague concept, what I want. Something like -
    SUM(AMOUNT) DISTINCT ON CHECK_ID, or
    SUM_DISTINCT(AMOUNT) DISTINCT ON CHECK_ID.
CHECK_ID is the internal Oracle id number for each check, from the ap_checks_all table. Check number is not unique enough, since different bank accounts may be using the same check number in the same time period. So I want a way to be able to add my check amount to the total one time when there are multiple invoices on the check, and then get each invidual check amount (one time) added up to get my check total amount.
Like I said, no problems with Discoverer or raw SQL if doing just one table. But once I join checks to invoice payments, poof, I run into trouble.
I did not think I was trying to do anything unusual. So quite surprising that having so much trouble trying to find a way around this problem.
Hope this detail explanation makes some sense. Thanks for any help/insight anyone can give me.
    John Dickey

    Michael,
Nope, that does not work. It truly just gives me an average. My desired (table) report row format is this -
Bank name , Job Number, Check Count , Invoice Count , Check Amount Total
So this is a SUMMARY report. Not a detail report. If I do detail, I do not have any problems - I get my correct check amount total. If I do just the ap_checks_all table, I get the correct amount (but then cannot get my invoice count). I get the correct check count (count distinct on check id). I get the correct invoice count. When I added a calculation column using the Average function as you suggested, I see on each row what is likely the average check amount. Which is exactly what you would expect to see.
Now I did get a brainstorm and tried this. I calculated both the average and average distinct on check amount, then multiplied each by my check count. Darn. Still does not work. The Average Distinct * Check Count = SUM_DISTINCT(CHECK AMOUNT), which I already have. Average Distinct apparently only includes a duplicate check amount one time in calculating the average (which when you think about it, makes sense, darn it). The AVERAGE function still has the problem, it looks like, of including the check amount each time on checks with multiple invoices (and thus multiple rows in the join result) in determining the average. Which when you think about the raw join result from joining checks to invoice payments tables, makes sense. The result of AVERAGE * CHECK COUNT is better than the SUM(AMOUNT) column, but not as good as the SUM_DISTINCT(AMOUNT) column.
Any other ideas? Interesting that something that seems like a pretty basic thing to do, if it does have a solution, is not a very obvious/simple solution.
    John Dickey
