Android: Publish/Testing my app on an Android Device

Hello, i got this problem with publishing/testing my app... I created an app with adobe flash cs6.
While i tried to test it on a Galaxy GT-S5570, while publishing i got an error wich says that "Device Error: please check if there is enough space on the device" .
I tried to make a new certificate but it didnt help...
I have samsung kies, with all drivers, and the device set on usb debbuging....
Hope someone knows how to solve this problem.

What is your App ID? You can get the problem you're describing if you are making a new app that has the same ID as an existing app, but has a different certificate. Either use a different App ID, or track down the existing app with the ID you want to use, and remove it from the device before testing the new app.

  • How to test the app on my Ipad device?

I'd like to know how to test the app and if it's strictly necessary to have a developer liscense to test it or if it's only necessary to make the app available in the Appstore.
    Thanks!

You need a paid dev account to test on a device.

  • How do you publish an Android version of your app?

    Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help me. I want to do an Android version of my app to publish in DPS. I was just wondering if there was a step by step guide?
I know I have to create alternate layouts, but do I save them in other folder with the same _h or _v extension?
Do I need to two folders one for iPad and one for Android and upload to different folios?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • After publish Android Application in Google Play Can't find any publish issue in app.

After publish Android Application in Google Play Can't find any publish issue in app. The Product ID is match, The Email Address in Folio Builder is match but is there necessary that DPS account have to match with Google Play Developer Account? Please Help

Are the folios published as Public? Are the folios free or retail? If retail, did you create an in-app billing Product ID in Google Play that is an exact match for the published folio? Is the "Title ID" you specified the same account you used to create the folios? Did you turn on Strict Renditions when you built the app?

  • Flash CC 2014 fees associated with publishing an app on both android and IOS platforms

I have a client thats wants an app done, the app would best be created in Flash CC 2014 as it based to run like a book with buttons on each page for a viewer to click. The viewer clicks the button of thier choice on each page and at the end of the book if the score is over 1000 a bonus page will appear, if its under it will say try again.
Client needs this in both IOS and Android so I need to know the extra fees associated with this
my fee for creating ( I know)
    Android certificate fee?
    IOS developer fee 99.00 ( I know)
Did I miss anything is there a fee to go from Flash to AIR?
    plz advize'

Ok so , my fee and the Apple developers fee if the client wants to sell in App store or not, correct?
    correct.
But NO android fee ONLY id developer wants to seek in lets say Google play correct?
there's no android license fee needed to develop for android.  there's a fee to upload/list apps with amazon marketplace and google play.

  • Android App - works fine in Device Central but not in phone

    Greetings!
Just looking for some general "you might try this" tips.  I've built a very basic game app for Android so I can start learning not only how to develop for Android, but also how to publish and distribute Android apps to users.
My game works fine when I test in Device Central from Flash.  And I've been able to upload my app to the Android Market. But when I install and run on my Android phone (I've actually tested on two separate devices), I just get a light yellow screen with a series of tiny dots that move across the screen, almost like a loading indicator, but nothing happens after that.
I've tried publishing as both an Air (Air 2) file and a Flash (Flash 10) file.  In device central, I tested the app on a Droid Incredible emulation.  The devices I've tested on are an HTC Inspire (AT&T) and an HTC Thunderbolt (Verizon).
So, I know there's no way for someone to take my limited description above and say "this is your problem".  Again, I'm just hoping for some general tips along the lines of "try publishing in a different version of Flash".
Any suggestions for where I should start digging?
    Thanks in advance!
    Joel

Sign out of the store on your phone, then sign back in. Note having content from more than one country's store may complicate the process of updating apps and downloading past purchases.

  • What I need to create and publish a magazine for iOS and Android?

    Hi!
I would like to know what I need to design, create and publish a magazine for iOS and Android. I would also like to know what products I need, what price would you pay and what process I have to follow to carry out this work.
    Thanks in advance!

It is NOT possible to create a Single Edition app for Android. Single Edition apps work only on the iPad.
You can create Single Edition apps using any account—CC, Pro, or Enterprise—and if you cancel your DPS subscription, these Single Edition (or single-folio) apps are still available in the App Store as long as you maintain your iOS account with Apple.
For multi-folio apps, the app container is downloaded from an app store, but the folios are downloaded from the Adobe Distribution Service. If you cancel your DPS subscription, the Adobe Distribution Service basically shuts down for that app. New users can still download your apps from an app store, but the library will be empty. Existing users can still view the folios they've downloaded, but they can't get any updates or new folios.

  • Making apps for googleplay & android market place

Can i publish a DPS app built in Indesign to the googleplay store or android market place?

    Kirru wrote:
That is interesting.  I'm gonna add another question.
If i rather not have the apps I pay for from the android market place added to my bill and I want to pay out of pocket directly, is there a way to do this?  i.e. like the App Store from Apple, it bills to my card through iTunes rather than being billed to AT&T.
On my G1 I have the option to purchase any apps with my credit card or towards my bill. Surprised Verizon doesn't offer the credit card feature.

  • Selling on apple app store and android market at same time

I am trying to understand how it is possible to sell on the apple app store and android market at the same time? It seems there is a product ID per .folio, but if there are 2 different product ids for each store...how can I sell them?

You can use the same Product ID to sell the same folio (or the same folio renditions) in different stores. For your retail folio, use a lowercase Product ID, such as com.publisher.publication.monthyear. For the App Store, you specify this Product ID when setting up your in-app purchase. For Android Market (and later Amazon Appstore), you specify the same Product ID when setting up your in-app billing. When you publish the folio (or the folio renditions), you specify this same Product ID.
In my opinion, selling iPad 1024x768 folios on Android is problematic because the content will be scaled and letterboxed. Your customers will have a better experience if you set up renditions, such as 1024x768, 1024x600, and 1232x752. That way, your Xoom customers will get the 1232x752 folio, your iPad customers will get the 1024x768 folio, and your Fire/Galaxy Tab 7 customers will get the 1024x600 folio.

  • DPS App builder for Android Devices

Hi! i make a new app for smartphone and i follow that link:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-suite/help/building-android-apps.html
i put every certificate and make all the steps with success!
What do i do after that????
I just have an app for tablet on Google play account..
There are others steps to make to see the app on Smartphone playstore? because i can't see the app..
    Thank you  very much
    TKART staff

The apps created by the web app builder run on both tablets and smartphones all the time. There's no "tablet-only" or "smartphone-only" version. If you upload this new .apk to Google Play instead of your current one it will replace the one there.
Note that our native Android app only supports Android 4.0.3 and later. If your Smartphone is running an earlier version of Android then it won't show in the Google Play store listings when you search for it.

  • In-app purchasing for Android & iOS

    Hi,
I have developed an AIR mobile app for both Android and iOS devices. Now, I want to sell my app through Google Play and Apple stores.
    1. How to implement in-app purchasing for Andorid and iOS in my AIR app
    2. Does Adobe have support for implementing in-app purchasing?
    3. Implementing in-app purchasing only once in my app will be enough to send it to both Google and Apple stores?
Kindly, guide me. Thanks is advance...

I used milkmangames ANE. (50$), because i didnt want to fork the code for each os.
    http://www.milkmangames.com/blog/tools/
It was "easy" to set up (quotes: as easy as something complicate can be).
Consumables, or One-time-purchases worked out of the box, but restore, subscriptions and auto subscriptions (like newspapers) had bugs like hell and were unusable.
Also check out here for some free stuff (wich propably works as well as the comercial, "supported" stuff, stupid-me)...

  • Poker app that is Android and iPhone 4 compatible

Does an app exist that exist allows an android user play online poker with an iPhone 4 user?

Try WSOP Hold’em Legend: iPhone OS and Android OS / $0.99
    https://market.android.com/details?id=com.glu.android.wsop3&feature=search_result
This game originally released at $2.99, and at that price was a great deal, but at $0.99, it’s a no-brainer. This is by far the best poker game ever released for a mobile device. You start out as an amateur and work your way up to play in the biggest tournaments in the world. You can also build up your bankroll in cash games.
There’s multiplayer support if you are on WiFi or 3G against six or nine players.
You can even have a peer-to-peer heads-up match via Bluetooth. If you are looking to get your poker fix in at lunchtime or while waiting at the doctor’s office, this is the perfect app to invest your money and time in.

  • Duplicate session error using Flash Remoting from Air 3.4 Mobile Apps ( IOS and Android ) with CF10

We're getting the "duplicate session" error using Flash Remoting from Air 3.4 Mobile Apps ( IOS and Android ) with Coldfusion 10 Standard.
    faultCode:Server.Processing.DuplicateSessionDetected faultString:'Detected duplicate HTTP-based FlexSessions,
generally due to the remote host disabling session cookies.
Session cookies must be enabled to manage the client connection correctly.' faultDetail:'null'
Have read most of the docs about this error -all to do with LCDS
    Notes:
    Not using LCDS,
No Remote Calls from loaded Sub-Apps,
No Errors from the Flex Web App which is pretty  much identical and calls the same cfcs.
The error does not happen all the time and is hard to reproduce - say 5% of app sessions at a guess.
Could it be a two first time remote calls hitting the server together before a session is set up?
Our remoteObjects are in two places 1) Main Application.mxml and within a class compiled into the main app - can't see how this would be an issue.
I enabled session management for the CFCs in Application.cfc but still occurs. Is this neccessary - it's not in any docs?
Could this be something to do with the app not being shut down - as is typical with mobile users? When they resume use after a day or two surely a new session will be created?
    Please advise thank you.

For our profect I think this issue was caused as follows:
Believing that remoting was full asynchronous we fired a 2 or 3 remote calls to the server at the same time ( within the same function ) - usually when the users goes to a new section of the app.
This seemed to trigger the duplicate http session error since according to http://blogs.adobe.com/lin/2011/05/duplication-session-error.html  two remote calls arriving before a session is created will cause 2 sessions to be created.
Our current solution ( too early to say it works ) is to daisy chain the multiple calls together .
Also there seemed to be an issue where mobile apps that never quit ( thanks Apple! )  caused the error when activated after a few hours.
I guess the session expires on the server and the error above occurs on activation.
So the mobile apps now ping the server with a remote call when activated after sleeping for more than one hour.
All duplicate http errors are silently caught and reported.
Fingers crossed we won't get any more!

  • Whats the adobe flash player 10.1 app called on android phones?

I want to download this app in the android market, but it says I need adobe flash player 10.1 but when I look for it, it doesn't show. Does anyone know what its called? I know its in the market because a lot of people are using that app. Does anyone know what its called? Please. I have the Samsung Captivate. Should I just wait for Android2.2?
    Help, Thanks!!!

Basically Android supports flash player to view your resultant animation and scripts developed from flash. You need a flash player to view some flash based animations and scripts. You can download and install it on your phones.

  • Flash Pro CC AIR for Android Publish Never Finishes

I am having so much trouble with the new CC flash pro. Simply, it does not publish to devices - at all.
I was able to get the proper driver so that Flash Pro recognises my device (which was a challenge in itself). Now, when I go to publish it never finishes. Apparently they removed the timer from the publish window - a bad choice IMO because now I'm going to be waiting hours for it to finish when it actually has frozen.
On android, the "Publishing..." box comes up and never goes away. There are no errors. It just simply does not work when I push the publish button, any of them. I have no idea what the problem could be or how I am supposed to fix this so any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

I'm having the same problem with Flash CC on Mac OS 10.8.5 using AIR 3.6 and 3.9 beta sdks publishing to Android.
Essentially Flash CC builds the apk just fine then hangs at 00:05 when it should be installing the apk to the device.
In looking at Activity Monitor I noticed I had two adb processes launched which could be part of the problem.
I then tried publishing through Flash CC but installing on devices via the command line when I've now run into another error:
    $ adb install Untitled-1.apk
    1311 KB/s (9427446 bytes in 7.021s)
              pkg: /data/local/tmp/Untitled-1.apk
    Failure [INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_NO_CERTIFICATES]
Apparently the apk isn't signed despite including my certificate in the publishing settings (along with the password) and the publishing process finishing without error.
An unsigned APK will not install on devices, which *could* be related to the problem of Flash CC never finishing publishing when 'install on device(s)' is selected in the publishing options. If Flash CC is waiting for a 'success' event to be fired from adb it may simply never be receiving one and therefore never finishing the publishing process… (just speculating).
Also, this is happening with *ANY* FLA I try to publish to Android.
