Annoying Under-Cursor Display of URL Info

Does anyone know how to disable the display of the box that appears when you rest your cursor over a link in Safari? The box displays the URL data for the link, and it's really annoying in that it covers up anything underneath it.

Hi,
You don't mention what version of Safari/OS X you are using, but try quitting Safari and then entering the following command in a Terminal window (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal.app):
<pre>defaults write com.apple.Safari WebKitShowsURLsInToolTips 0</pre>
Restart Safari and see if the tooltips have stopped. If you ever want to re-enable them, repeat the above command but change the 0 for a 1.

How do I enable "Data under cursor"?

Hi all,
I just started playing around with the new Au CS6, like it a lot so far! I've had good luck getting all the little tweaks I liked from Au 3 working except this one small thing which to many may seem unnecessary, but I have found to be very useful in specific instances.
Using Au 3, in the status bar at the bottom of the screen there are various data displayed such as 'Sample Format', 'File Size', 'Free Space', and the one I am struggling to find in CS6, 'Data Under Cursor'. With this, anywhere I placed the cursor on a spectrogram I might be looking at in Au it will give me the readout of exact Hz value at that spot in the status bar (for example: -21.6 dB @ 1:22:021, 1362Hz). I cannot find how to turn on or view this datum in CS6. If there's someone out there who knows if I can still do this in the new version, or a workaround I could use to get something similar in Au CS6, I'd love to hear about it.

I got it working since, I had to go into the rte player app and enable cellular streaming there. It wasn't anywhere in general settings where I was initially looking. Thanks anyway.

How can I get Firefox 4 to display the URL of active tabs in the location bar so I can see and copy it?

The only URL that I ever see in the location bar is the last one I typed there. No matter which tab I activate, the last typed URL is displayed. When I need to copy the URL of an active tab to paste into an email or something I can't see it.
The location bar used to display the URL of each active tab and you could simply click in the address field and the URL would be highlighted so you could edit/copy it or jump to the end of a very long URL to see the final file name.
I can't get this feature to work and I really need this feature as I need to copy URL's quite often. When I have multiple tabs active I sometimes forget which one is for which domain and need to see the URL. It is very annoying to surf blind.
Please help me with this issue as quickly as possible so I can once again do my work easily and with the firefox browser instead of chrome. :(

A couple of possible causes.
The first is the file that stores details of browsing history and bookmarks is corrupt. For details on how to fix that see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite
Another possible cause is an add-on interfering with the location bar. To test this, use the procedure in this link - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

After upgrading to 10.2.2.12 on windows XP SP3 , itunes does not display any summary info or buttons/options. The buttons work but it does not display the text on the button or the options available.

I recently upgraded the iTunes software to 10.2.2.12 on my Windows XP laptop. Since then, iTunes stopped displaying the Summary info
, the text on the buttons, the various drop down options. The buttons seem to be working but I can't tell what that button is supposed to do
or the option I am selecting. This is preventing me from syncing my photos to the laptop.
this was not a problem with the previous version of iTunes.
Actions taken :
- I tried downloading iTunes again and repairing the install. That did not fix it.
- Don't want to uninstall it as I am worried that I would lose all the songs and the purchases etc.
1. Has anyone encountered this ?
2. Is there a solution for this ?

Yeah it does, although the problem predates version 10.2.2.12. It's been around since earlier-on in the version 10s (at least).
It's usually Segoe UI font trouble on the Windows 7 systems too. Unfortunately, the Vortical troubleshooting technique only works on XP and Vista systems, so dealing with the issue on a Windows 7 system is trickier. (There's a bunch of different possible issues relating to the fonts that could be in play, and so the treatment tends to depend on which issue in particular you've got with the Segoe_UI fonts.)

In my WD4A application, I called the method 'navigate_absolute' to display a URL iView in a new External window.
The code is as follows:

The application can display the iView in the same Window (navigation_mode = '0'), but cannot in a new External window (navigation_mode = '1').
In the iView properties, the following attributes are set to:
1. Launch in New Window - Dipslay in Separate Window
2. Open iView Links in New Window - Yes

Ssrs 2008 r2 display of url value

In an existing SSRS 2008 R2 application, the users will be clicking on url links to access help documents that are in a PDF
format. When the user hovers over the tab in the browser, the actual web url is listed. My company thinks this can be a secruity
problem.
Thus my question in an SSRS 2008 R2 report, is there a way to hide the real link of where the PDF document is located at? Basically is there a way to hide the real url and/or just display a url that does not really exist? If so, can you show me code on how
to accomplish this goal?

Based on my test, if we are use below expression, it will not list the URL.

The LinkToURL UI element is a hypertext link. When you choose this link, you are directed to a user-defined Web resource (URL).
The LinkToUrl is used to exclusively to open URLs in a separate window. To leave the Web Dynpro application and display a new URL use an exit plug.
1.in ur UI create tabs as u desire
2. In each TAB , add ViewContainer . ViewContainer you would be able to add inside tab.
3. Now create as many views as you have created Tabs.
4. Embed views into the corresponding ViewContainers , in ur first view embed link to URL

Safari does not display full URL

Safari 6.0.5 will not display full URL until I click in the URL Location bar. For example, the full URL of this page is:
https://discussions.apple.com/community/mac_os/question-post!input.jspa?containe rType=14&container=2131&fromWidget=true&question=Safari%20does%20not%20display%2 0full%20URL
However, in my Safari location bar it displays only the domain level path, i.e.:
https://discussions.apple.com
Is this new behavior a featue or a bug? Is there any way to make it display the full URL as it has since the beginning of time?

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. Its settings will revert to their defaults. If the extension still causes a problem, remove it permanently or refer to its developer for support.

Finding component under cursor - Container.findComponentAt() troubles

Hi,
I'm using Container.findComponentAt to ask the root application Window to find which component is under the cursor. The I build the context sensitive message depending on what is under the cursor.
I have found following problems, mainly with pop-ups and menus.
- findComponentAt refuses to find menu element if menu sticks outside the limits of Window I ask to find component.
- findComponentAt refuses to find any popup-menu element - it always returns the "first hit" which is usually the component below the popupmenu
I'm using 1.6 JRE.
My question is: does anybody knows the other way to find what is under cursor? Without adding mouse motion listeners to every component I mean. Just a single piece of code to find where mouse events would get next.

The way to get a trace on what is under the cursor is:

Use [Dr%] Variable formula as =if(IsNull([Dr%]);0;[DR%])
Here IsNull returns the Boolean value of variable [Dr%] if its true then inserts 0 else the percentage values of failed tests based on the total number of assembly tests performed.

Cursor is in URL field, not (Google) search box

This problem is referred to on so many forums, but after half the afternoon going from site to site trying out suggestions, I haven't been able to fix it...
When I open Firefox (Google is my homepage), the cursor is in the Google search box, but if I open more tabs, the cursor is always in the URL field. Why would anyone want that?
I have tried restarting Firefox with all my addons disabled, and tried using extensions like NewTabURL 2.2.3, but the problem is there just the same. Has anyone found a definitive way to fix this?

Currently this is the default behavior to have the cursor in the url bar when you open a new tab. However there has been another add on that has been suggested in the past: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/auto-cursor/?src=search]

RH7 Reports not Displaying all Requested Info

Has anyone else generated the Topic Properties report from
the Tools menu, and noticed that the report only haphazardly
includes some requested data? For example, from the Options menu
for the report, I selected simply the Topic, the MapID, and any
Conditional Build tags. There are about 2700 topics in the project.
The resulting report did display some mapID info, but not for every
topic that has one. It seemed like less than 50% accuracy there. I
did go to some of these topics and confirm that yes, they do indeed
have a map ID attached to them.
Has anyone else seen this? Any suggestions?

I have give a URL along with Workitem text, So once the approver will check the mail notification in workflow inbox, by clicking on the URL given he can see the other details of that order. Those information can help him out in taking decision.

I have gone through the documentation of report <b>RSWUWFML2</b> and it says "The report sends notifications for work items by e-mail to SAP users who have an Internet e-mail address. This enables users who do not normally use the Business Workplace to be informed about new work items." But we dont want to send the workitem to email address, we want to send it to Business workplace inbox.
I think i was not able to explain you the correct requirement, i am explaining you once again, we will not use any internet email address to notify about the new work item, we will only use business workplace of sap to check or to see new workitem received, and we want url with hyperlink there only.

The item property that the Get Info was opened for is read only, so it doesn't look like you can just throw a file path at it. You could do something like telling the Finder to reveal the item, then keystroke the command, e.g.:
