Ant extractESBDeploymentPlan Issue with linked ESB Artifacts

I seem to have found a problem with the ExtractESBDeploymentPlan script.
I've created a number of ESB artifacts that are common to a number of other ESB processes. I link them together by calling an existing ESB Routing Service from an ESB, which then adds the .esbsvc descriptors to my process (I assume just to enable them to be seen in the diagram). Doing this does not import the wsdl's etc which is good.
However, if I then try to extract these ESB projects, I get the following error:

This is valid, as the .esbsvc does not have a .wsdl.
Now, is this my fault for doing something not in best practice, or an issue with JDeveloper, or the extract script?
Any thoughts?

I have the exact same problem as you. I have a .esbsvc file in my project that does not have a corresponding local .wsdl file. (In the .esbsvc file I link to the WSDL with a HTTP-address).
Did you come up with a solution?

I have created a navigation system on the master pages and set the presentation to links only mode. I also have other links scattered throughout the program, like a linkable table of contents, etc. Some of them work, some of them don't. Not sure why. Anyone out there having similar issues? Links should not create any problems in Keynote. If they are set up correctly on text, the text will be underlined. Objects that have links will have a curved arrow bottom right, if you click the arrow a popup will display the link information.
Try this repair for Keynote, ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:

delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote, using Appcleaner from Mac Update, its a freeware application

empty the trash: Finder > Empty Trash

Shut down your Mac, wait 30 seconds, then power on the Mac, immediately after the start chime, hold down the Shift key
When you see the grey Apple symbol and progress indicator (a spinning gear), release the Shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, then hold down the Shift key again as you click Log in.

Let the Mac fully boot up, it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive
5
when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive then First Aid tab and click repair disc permissions

when complete, restart the Mac normally, Apple menu > Restart

install Keynote from the Mac App Store

Issue with link in a row in advanced table -urgent

Hi,
I have created search/results screen and results region is an Advanced table based on a query VO.
One of the columns, Responsibility Name is a link. On clicking this link it should show all the functions in the responsibility in a new screen.
The issue is once I click th elink in any record and come back to the advanced table and click 'Next 10' or 'previous 10' I get Browser back button error.
I item type of the adv table column is 'link' with destination URi = path of the new OA page and target = _blank.
If I change the colun type to Message Style Text from Link then the 'Previous10' or 'Next 10' works fine.
Whats the issue with this and how can I solve it?

Memory leak issue with link server between SQL Server 2012 and Oracle

We are trying to use the linked server feature with SQL Server 2012 to connect SQL server and Oracle database. We are concerned about the existing memory leak issue. For more context please refer to the link.

The above link talks about the issues with SQL Server versions 2005 and 2008, not sure if this is still the case in 2012. I could not find any article that talks about if this issue was fixed by Microsoft in later version.
We know that SQL Server process crashes because of the third-party linked server provider which is loaded inside SQL Server process. If the third-party linked server provider is enabled together with the
Allow inprocess option, the SQL Server process crashes when this third-party linked server experiences internal problems.
We wanted to know if this fixed in SQL Server 2012 ?

So your question is more of a information type or are you really facing OOM issue.
There can be two things for OOM
1. There is bug in SQL Server which is causing the issue which might be fixed in 2012
2. The Linked server provider used to connect to Oracle is not upto date and some patch is missing or more recent version is to be used. Did you made sure that you are using latest version.
What is Oracle version you are trying to connect(9i,10g, R2...)

Issue with links on WAD Template when transporting from BWD to BWP

Hello experts,
We're facing a problem in our project.
Until now we we're working directly in a productive system, but last week we've copied our productive system (BWP) to the development system (BWD).
Now we change almost everything in BWD and then transport to BWP.
However, our templates that have been constructed in the Web Application Designer (WAD) have some links that have dependency on the string 'bwd', example:
"http://sapbwd.tap.pt:8"
All the links with this issue are ragarding to workbooks constructed over the Excel (BEx Analyzer).
When we transport the template to BWP the link remains the same, where the link should be "http://sapbwp.tap.pt:8"
We would like to eliminate this issue, eliminating the reference to the system (BWD) or changing the link name when the template was transported to BWP.
Is there any easy way to workaround this problem?

i don't know if understood you well, but if your requirement is to restrict users and queries execution to a specific server the solution is to create logon groups (transaction SMLG1), however this solution have impact not only in reports execution but also in the login options.
In this transaction you define for a group which instance server is allowed, in your case you could specify the server where the reports should run.
I strange the fact of your Wad reports allways open in the correct server, but it could be due to authorization definitions.

Issues with linked files, should I RAID?

So, my first Mac (which was a hand me down) had the two drives RAIDed. But when I was ordering my new mac the guys at mac seemed opposed to the notion of doing this. Now I find that I have difficulty working in some programs, like Adobe InDesign. The program can't find links on the second drive. The tech support at mac suggested RAIDing the drives might be a solution, but only as a last resort (they told me to call Adobe). When I talked with Adobe they said it was a Mac issue, since I was having similar difficulties with other software (non-Mac, non-adobe). So is this a format issue? I mean did I miss a step and my second drive isn't formated properly? Has anyone else had this sort of issue (or do you know anything about this issue)? Both Mac and Adobe told me they hadn't heard of this issue before. I can't imagine I am alone in the world on this one. But I am willing to accept that I have done something wrong (or not done something) to incur the wrath of my software. Thanks for any advisement.

No I have not checked for where my scratch volume is located. I don't know how. I am not entirely certain what that means.
I do work with large files, just about everything I do is in an Adobe program. Performance (as far as speed, I have 8GB RAM) is not an issue.
When you say "seems like it wasn't installed properly" do you mean when the guys put it together they didn't get it in right/ damaged in shipping, or do mean when I set up applications, preferences, etc. I made some error? I only have 2 drives, 350GB, and 750 GB. When I was building (I mean telling the Mac guy what I thought I wanted and asking his recommendations) this machine he told me that Adobe software has trouble utilizing more than 2 Drives.
So perhaps the ownership is wrong, but I don't really know how to work toward change on this issue. If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

Issues with links

Can anybody help me with this problem?
I am designing a website with Dreamweaver CS4.
In all the page properties I have defined the link states (rollover etc) as a particular colour (grey).
I am using images as links throughout my webpages.
So most of the images used as links are surrounded by a grey border etc. - which is just what I want.
On one particular page, I am using a certain image as a link that I don't want with a grey border..
So my question is - Is there a way to override the original link properties as defined in page properties
for this particular image link so that it isn't surrounded by a grey border (using CSS or whatever)?
You're help will be greatly appreciated.

Create a class in your CSS file like this:
.noborder {
border-color: transparent;
Apply the noborder class to the image you don't want to have a border.

Issue with linked server

We have created a linked server.We are getting below error when a trigger is executed from the source server.
1)OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI" for linked server "Destination server" returned message "The partner transaction manager has disabled its support for remote/network transactions."
2)Msg 7391, Level 16, State 2, Procedure trgScandetails, Line 21
The operation could not be performed because OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI" for linked server "Destination server" was unable to begin a distributed transaction.
3)OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI" for linked server "Destination server" returned message "No transaction is active."
Please help me on this.

Using triggers are bad, things like this make it more worse.
I would say that using triggers in general is not bad, but it is a good way to implement validation of business rules which cannot be encoded in constraints, as well various forms of cascading updates. In short, any thing which is needed to uphold database
integrity.
But from this follows that as soon you stray outside the database you are doing something more. Maybe you have distributed your data over more than one database for some reason, and it is still a matter of referential integrity. If the databases are different
applications, it is probably not the correct solution.
And maybe you distributed your databases over several servers for load balancing or whatever. But then at the same time you also increase the complexity of your solution considerably. For instance, what happens if you have a disaster and must restore one
of the databases?
As for the actual question, getting MSDTC to work can be a breeze - and it can be a nightmare. My experience is that if you have a domain and there are no trust or double-hop issues, it works. But if you don't have a domain, but only a workgroup it can
be very difficult. It may work if the service accounts on the machines have the same name and password.
But you should also ask yourself: if the other server is down, what do you want to happen?

Issue with linking a file to encore on a Win7 64 bit machine

I have recently upgraded my PC to Win7 64bit professional OS. The PC has 8G of memory and an AMD 6 core CPU.
After the upgrade, I reinstalled my Creative Suite 4 to the machine. When I have created a sequence in Premiere Pro and then try to dynamically link the file to Encore, Encore keeps generating a 0 byte file.
I have reinstalled the software multiple times and even on a different machine. I get the same result.
Curious has anyone ever run into this same issue? What is the solution?

You must create a timeline from the asset (in this case the PR sequence you sent to Encore).
Then you must tell Encore to transcode the asset (e.g. right click on the PR sequence and pick "transcode now."
Then you build to a disk or image - the final part is what produces a disk.

Q10 Syncing Issues with Link - Multiple Folders on PC

Q10 SQN100-2, running OS 10.1.0.2011. Link version is 1.1.1.20.
There have been several attempts to sync pictures, videos & music. All have failed. I have security wiped the device twice, and reinstalled link once. This is my second Q10, having returned the first. Q10 name was changed a few times across hat process. My last wipe today also included installation of brand new Micro SD. My only possible thought is that is appears that the folders from previous associations & installs are still there -but have not been able to delete. Also, username directory on desktop shows different folders to the Library directory on dsktop.
NEED HELP PLEASE! I'm at my wits end.

Issue with linking Activity to predecessor Document Line Item

Hi,
We are trying to create an Activity and programatically link it to the line item of the predecessor Document ( Complaint transaction). The predecessor document number and line item should show up in the 'Relationships' tab of the activity. When this is done manually, it automatically generates a link in the document flow at Header level linking the Activity to the Header of the Complaint.
However, we are unable to generate this link programatically and we are either able to link the document only to the Complaint Header, or if we link to Item, it does not show the apropriate link in Doc flow of the Activity. Also, the Activity does not show up in the Tasks tab at Item level of Complaint - which happens when we save the data manually.
Any clues regarding what can be done to link document at Item level will be highly appreciated!

If you are using the FM BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_CREATEMULTI to create the Activity, then pass the Guid to the Doc flow parameter. The sample code to add the doc_flow is as below:

CS4 to CS6 After Effects Color Issue with Linked Photoshop Files

Hi, I just recently converted a CS4 project into CS6 and everything work wonderfully except that the photoshop files are different in color. I know this because I took screenshots of the video I was working with and edited them in Photoshop before importing them back in to the project so I know the color should match. This screenshot may help (as you can see I've increased the brightness and contrast in the affected area so that you may see what is happening. There is a Photoshop layer that is covering up a number of scratches on the guiter (it is very beat up) and in the original (CS4) project they hid them perfectly while in the CS6 project they are clearly there.
I am not sure why the Photoshop files are acting differently but they are. I need to re-export, please help if possible. Thank you so much. Jason.

In Bridge, my color settings are shown as synchronized (some kind of universal deal I guess), but the Photoshop files and the After Effects file are not color managed. What is confusing me is how completely "not color managed" files can interpret RGB values for anything different than their face value?
My Workaround (Not a Solution):
In light of how specific this problem is, I've decided to simply match the Photoshop files to the After Effects footage with a gamma adjustment using a levels effect. For this situation settings the levels to .88 corrected the problem. However, exporting the project from Premiere results in a darker movie file than the orginal so I was forced to correct the gamma on the export as well. The new export (after the corrections) looks less appealing to me but as a standalone product is acceptable.

ADF 10.1.3 - Issue with link item on the menu1 of panelPage

I tried to add two menu tabs in the menu1 item of panelPage and added CommandMenuItem for the nodeStamp they are not showing up.
2. I have a link item on the page, when I click the link, it is throwing error alerts related to all the required columns on the form. My requirement is to navigate to the selected link without worrying about any of the columns on the page.

Server Issues with linked files

When I'm working in an Illustrator CS5 document that is saved on a NetDisk 20TB server so mutlipule people can access that document. The document is constantly asking me do I want to update the links every two minutes, but I haven't modified the linked files for this to happen. Does anyone know what could I do abould about this, or is there a server setting I need to change? Can anyone offer advice about this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Illustrator isn't notified of errors during network traffic. So it may happen, that Illustrator thinks your file is saved, while in fact it is not. There's a technote on the subject and very often when files are corrupt, they were saved on networked drives.
I know that it's practical and for many people it works without problems, but I'm just saying ... you should double check anything and be very careful.
