Any BADI with IDOC(Vendor mst) control parameters????

Hi All,
I wish to know if there is any BADi called during IDOC processing(OILCRE04-Vendor Master) and has the IDOC control parameters in its methods.
[b]Scenario
I use IDOC OILCRE04(vendor Msster).
It has a Z-segment for updating a Z-table.
I use BADi 'VENDOR_ADD_DATA_BI' which is called when above IDOC type is triggered for processing the Z segment.
Since Data in Z-Table has to be in sync with Vendor Master data, I want to stop IDOC processing if Z Table data is not processed .
So if the z-table update fails,I plan to change the IDOC status to '51' so that it does not proceed further.
I plan to use FM 'IDOC_STATUS_WRITE_TO_DATABASE' to change the IDOC status, but I need the IDOC NUMBER before that.
To get the IDOC number, I am looking for a BADi which passes the IDOC control parameters.
Appreciate, If you gurus could let me know of the BADi or any alternate way of stopping IDOC processing when my Z-Table update fails.

Just to add...
Is there any other way of stopping the IDOC processing when a customer-defined action/requirement is not met in the idoc processing.
As all I need here is to FAIL the IDOC if a custome table is not updated.

Control parameters of external synaptic touchpad

Hi all.
Wondering if there is a way to set parameters for external synaptics touchpad in a laptop having another built-in synaptics touchpad.
Particularly, I would like to use Apple Magic Trackpad with Lenovo x220 laptop.
It works just fine via external bluetooth dongle, though I'm not able to set sensitivity or any other parameters.

Problem with IDOC Control Record

Hi All,
mine is File to Idoc scenario, everything is fine, but Idoc is posted with 56 status.Even I'm giving control record at Mapping and check the option at Idoc adapter "Apply control data from payload". Sender port is not populated at Idoc and Sender and receiver partner numbers are taken other than what I had provided at mapping. Can any one explain what can I do now.

It depends whther u wnt to go for automatic filling of control record or filling it from the payload.
In the first case, it will fill the control record with the ALE config u hv done i.e. partner profiles and port defn in we20 & we21.
In the second case also, it will do exactly the same, but in this case there shud be a corresponding ale config to wht u r filling in the mapping. The sender, receiver ports, partners, msgtype values populated in mapping shud be exactly same as tht in ur ALE config.
So, in ur case, compare the values filled in the mappin with tht of the ALE configuration.

Check in BAdi if delivery processed with IDOC or with transaction

Hello to everyone!
I have encountered an issue and hopefully you could help me in solving this.
I have developed an enhancement (BAdi) in delivery processing.
Every time delivery is being changed - method is triggered and line item is being validated against some conditions
But now I would like to prevend BAdi from being launched when delivery comes in IDOC.
For this purpose I just put a simple condition in BAdi method:
IF sy-batch NE 'X'.
//here perform validation.
ENDIF.
Unfortunately validation is still performed. Looks like when IDOC is being sent to ECC from PI, sy-batch is empty.
I would also like to prevent validation from being launched when IDOC re-processed manually (BD87 or sth.)
But then sy-batch is also empty.
Could you please advise some solution for this?
How to check in BAdi if delivery is being processed with IDOC or with transaction (VL32N, VL31N, VL32, ...)
I would appreciate every comment on this.

Yes, indeed, IDOC is processed by FModule IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY.
You mean I should for example
find some place in this FModule (exit/enhancement point/...) where I could put-Z-code
and raise a delivery number (or just some flag) to memory (EXPORT TO MEMORY..)
and later on catch it from memory in my BAdi method (IMPORT FROM MEMORY ...)
to check if delivery processed by IDOC/not IDOC ?

Any BADI returning the 'IDOC Status' during IDOC generation.

Hello All,
I need a BADI which is being called during any IDOC generation and which returns the 'IDOC Status' i.e. Pass/Fail etc.
So far I am able to find BADIs like 'IDOC_DATA_MAPPER' or ''IDOC_DATA_INSERT'' but such BADIs only return the IDOC document number.. they do not return any information on IDOC Status (the field Status field remains blank).
Can any one suggest some solution on this please.

Thanks for your reply, though i was able to get the status from BADI IDOC_DATA_MAPPER itself (earlier there were some config issues...which were creating some problems) but thanks for letting me know about table EDIDS, it helped at places.

Control Material Master Views with IDOC load

Hello all,
I am wondering how best to control which views are available during IDoc processing for Material Master.
For example I just want the Basic Data 1 and Basic Data 2 tabs, I am only populating the relevant data and placing a value of u201CKu201D in the Maintenance Status fields. This seems to work and avoids the warnings I seem to encounter when I neglect to add values for the Maintenance Status fields.
The warning I get at times tell me the IDoc is attempting to extend all available views, then it makes them available once I view my Material with MM03, however because there is no data in them I canu2019t go into the tabs. That is fine because I can go to the Basic data tabs, but I was disappointed to see the other tabs enabled, but inaccessible.
With Direct Input I used to be able to simply indicate which views I want. Now it seems I must request the maintenance views that then translate to actual views.

Yes I have experience in that area, and I fill the PSTAT as well. But you can also run a program (is in IMG > Logistic Gerneral > material master) to regenerate PSTAT after you have loaded all materials.
I use IDOC loading method for SAP system mergers. Sent Material master in legacy system using ALE as IDOC collection to a file, then use this file as source for LSMW, and as IDOC to IDOC mapping is just 1:1 I use use this methd in this case.
When loading from Excel file, I started using BAPI import method a few rollout waves back (but not because there is something difficult with IDOC, just to get used to this method).

No this is not possible.

Take the MBP to an Apple store genius bar and have them evaluate it. This is a free service. They may tell you what needs to be fixed and the associated costs. You are no obligated to to have them perform the repairs. But you will have a better understanding of the problem(s).

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

Create PO with a different Confirmation Control Key

Hello experts!
We are using SRM 5.0 with Extended Classic Scenario.
When creating a PO in SRM and replicating it to the ECC backend system, we would like the PO to always be created with value "0010", which is a value defined by our customer.
How can this be done real-time? We can't find this field in any of SRM's structures...
Field in ECC is EKPO-BSTAE

Hi Gilberto,
Before going in for any BADI development, lets try to see if we can keep it simple.
Try this in ECC & let me know:
1) In the vendor master for the vendor, select the confirmation control option you would want to default for this particular vendor. Do not flag the acknowledgement reqd checkbox.
2) in SPRO, under Purchase Order, click the "Define screen layout at document level"
copy the NBF field selection & rename it to the EBP PO doc type with a F as the suffix. Save it.
3) Click at the details button for new field selction. Double click the "Deadline monitoring" selection & now set the conf required as mandotory. click the back arrow & press save.
Now try to transfer a PO from SRM to R/3 for this particular vendor. But, remember that when it works, it works only for the conf control option you set in the vendor master.

Maximum size of a data packet in kilo bytes
The individual records are sent in packages of varying sizes in the data transfer to the Business Information Warehouse. Using these parameters you determine the maximum size of such a package and therefore how much of the main memory may be used for the creation of the data package. SAP recommends a data package size between 10 and 50 MB.
Frequency with which status Idocs are sent
With this frequency you establish how many data IDocs should be sent in an Info IDoc.
Standard settings
Frequency 1 means, for example, that there is an Info IDoc for every data IDoc. In general, you should choose a frequency between 5 and 10 but not greater than 20.
Recommendation
The larger the packet size for a data IDoc, the smaller you should set the frequency. By doing this, you make it possible to get information on the respective data load status in relatively short time periods when uploading data.
Maximum number of parallel processes for data transfer
Select a number greater than 0.
Parallel processes can be set from the SAP core release 3.1I onwards.
These parameters are, therefore, ignored in releases before 3.1I.
However, there is a possibility of importing the SAP release 3.1I into earlier releases.
The more parallel processes that can run the better the performance of your system will be. However, you must bear in mind the number of available dialog processes here.
It will be fine and more effective if you use sap recomended values in those respective fields
