Hi, does anyone have used any BAPI or FM that will update the customer address (Central Address management fields) and the change will be logged in the change history of customer master? I have tried several FM that can update the fields but none of the change will show up in the change history of the customer master.
So far, I have tried the following FM:
ADDR_MAINTAIN_COMPLETE
ADDR_UPDATE
BDC is not acceptable due to high volume of data. However, the change log is also required.
Please share any advice.

Advantages of using OPPQ tcode

Hi ,
We use OPPQ tcode to maintain MRP parametes with respect to a specific plant and we also have individual tcodes to maintain MRP paramters - like "MRP Controllers, Planning Horizon,Floats,Rescheduling etc". Is there any specific reason/advantages to use OPPQ tcode to maintain MRP parameters instead of using individual tcodes to maintain MRP parameters?. Thanks in advance.

Using OPPQ we can copy the MRP parameters of an existing plant to a newly created plant in one-go.
If we know the parameters of an existing plant it makes sense to copy it directly through this txn instead of individual maintenance.Also any 'particular' data can be changed as per your requirement in the new plant easily.
Apart from the above advantage the 'reference plant' option in OPPQ helps us in reduced data maintenance w.r.to 4 parameters namely Plg cycle/Plg calendar/ROC profile/Rounding profile.
All we need is to create the data in reference plant which is then made available for the planning/new plant automatically.

BAPI for clearing documents -Using Transaction F-44

I am trying to acheive the folowign scenarion
My scenario is RFC XI --Soap , and the major problem i am facing is that, whenever i come accross any pdf's or documents or blogs related to my stuff , it always talks in very brief and i get stuck. the blog that you posted talks about some program Id , and i am not sure wht it is.
And right now concentratin on XI -> RFC-> R/3 track,
Is it possible that using XI(RF adapter) if i invoke any BAPI on R/3, then in XI i get to see all the Data returned by R/3 .
Like say a java application using JDBC invoking an sql on oracle and Java Application getting all the details.
If yes how will that data be visible in XI ?

program id is something you specify in your SM59 while you create your destination, the same has to be given in your adapter also.

both Transaction codes are working are same.
Both are working through program : SAPMF05A.
Packages are different: FIDC & AB.
FB01 : we can control objects through F_BKPF_BUK

I need to change the few vlaues in the t-code MSC2N.
I need to change the City of Origin and Reg Of orign for few Batch numbers
in Basic Data1 tab.
There are around 1000 batch numbers which needs this change
Is there any BAPI available to go ahead..

Hi, You can update classification for a batch using the following code.
But first, you'll need to find out that the batch management is cross-plant or plant dependant.
If it is cross plant then plant(WERKS) is not part of the key to BAPI_OBJCL_CONCATENATEKEY.

I think you need to use BDC.
This BAPI is there - BAPI_TRIP_CREATE_FROM_DATA but it uses PR01.
Check following to find BAPI for any tcode -
1. Find out the package of the transaction.
Start Va01 go to system --> status.
Double click on transaction
Package is VA
Open this package in SE80
Open business engineering-->Business object types
Find the BO which sounds the most appropriate
I would suggest BUS2032 Sales Order
Double click.
Open methods.
Find the released method with from data or something similar in the name
, Createfromdat2
Position the cursor in it and click the program button
Scroll down to find the bapi used in this method
With this way you can also find out programs and FM's
2. Start va01 go to system-->status
Double click transaction VA01
Double click on package
Read the application component. (this is SD-SLS Sales)
Then open the transaction BAPI
Sales and distribution>Sales>sales order
createfromdat2

Any bapi avaialble to fetch component planned orders for header planned ord

Hi Experts,
                 We have a req where we need to fetch component planned orders for header planned order .
In Detail :
In MD4C tcode (select planned orders tab -> F8 ), when i pass the header planned order like 17474 .
I get two component planned orders like 16276 16277 and corresponding materials like 12025185 , 12025189.
We are using   BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_GET_DETAIL to fetch component materials for a planned order .
similarly any bapi or tables which have this data to fetch component planned orders.
