Any Shortcut Buttons in ZEN MIC

Are there any shortcut buttons in Micro. I've found some but curious if there are any others:
- If you hold 'back' for some seconds it goes to Main screen
- If you hold 'play' for some seconds when listening to the radio, it starts recording.

It was in removable disk mode when I plugged it in, and it detects it saying "found new hardware" and then it prompts me "welcome to the found new hardware wizard". It is not under my computer as any dri've, but when I plug it back in in regular mode, it is detected. Thanks for your help.

Zen Vision:M shortcut button st

Hi,
Has anyone else had a problem with their shortcut button getting stuck. It happened about 2 weeks after I got my player - the shortcut button just stopped working - no click, no nothing. So I took it back to the store and they sent it away to get repaired (Creative in Sydney, Australia). 6 very long weeks later my player was returned and seemed to be fixed. Now, about 2 weeks later it's happened again. Just out of the blue the button stopped working again.
Just wondering if anyone else has had the problem so I can work out if it's a common problem with the model or just my specific player.

Hi, I recieved my Zen today, put music on it, and first time I pressed the shortcut button, the screen went black, I'm waiting till then i'm sending it back. Nothing i've done seems to work. That's horrible!

Agents unable to perform Call Transfer using the shortcut button

We are facing this same issue for the last 3 days, any help will be truly appreciated.
Scenario : When customer calls in, Few agents are unable to do call transfer using the shortcut button on the CAD Interface. however when this fails they still can manually transfer the call by entering the number as a work around.
This is not happening for all agents and for those this is happening it happens intermittently. What could be the reason. please guide.

This def sounds like an MTP issue.. Are you using software MTP or hardware MTP's on the gateways? I suggest using Software session on the gateways as it won't use DSP and will allow for much more the CUCM itself can support...
Pretty good chance this is the issue...
(Check RTMT and see if you are getting alerts about media resource group list exhausted)

Repetitive task setup - Any shortcuts for Multiple Slideshow Advance on click?

I have to create 20 pages that all have the same set up: 4 multi state objects, with 4 states each. On top of each MSO is a button that advances the slideshow to the next state. Are there any shortcuts, or any way to automate parts of the set up? Or do I have to create every state of every MSO from scratch?

I think some form of automation would be good as I have asked for something similar regarding snippets, but the dps team have not really answered this question directly,maybe something could be forth coming in the next release.

Remote control Shortcuts button

Hi I have the new BT vision black remote, change over went ok. On my last remote I could use the Shortcuts button to alter the picture size. i.e - Zoom, Widescreen, etc. On this one when it's pressed "Shortcuts" the BT Vision light flashes and so does the box but nothing appears on the screen. It's also the same for the Help button. Any ideas? Thanks

I would guess the same reason. It took a while to be implemented on the old system too if I remember rightly.
If having black bars down the side of programmes which are made in 4:3 ratio really bothers you you can set the box to 4:3 mode via the Help and Settings menu and use the TV to distort the picture. Just remember to set it back again for any programmes which are originally made widescreen or you'll be chopping the edges off and then distorting what's left which isn't good.

Home screen shortcut buttons

can you change the home screen buttons on the bottom? It has phone, contacts, messaging, and apps? also, can you change the search default provider?

If the buttons are setup like most devices you can drag any shortcut to replace a icon on launcher but the app button for the start menu..
As for the defailt search provider, you can install other ones like google but you wont be able to change the default search engine... But you can place google widget on a home page and clock it to search and it should search Google instead of Bing..

E6-00 camera shortcut button

Have I missed something or is there no way to start the camera other than touch screen icons on app menus or start screens (which both are very hard to hit reliably without actually looking at the phone)?
Pretty much any application can be configured to the shortcut buttons -- except the camera (I tried on fw versions 021.014 and 022.014). As a quick fix I'd think someone could create an app that launches the camera (because apparently apps other than the camera find their way to the shortcut list), but that sounds quite silly.

Oh well, no replies so I installed Nokia's QT SDK and wrote a launcher app and set it run with a long press of the calendar button.
Basically just File -> New -> QT Widget Project -> Mobile Qt Application etc,
then edited the template main.cpp to add
#include <QProcess>
and replaced contents of main() with
QProcess process;
process.start("CameraApp.exe");
return 0;
And it seems to work fine... I'd still obviously prefer this fixed in firmware, though.

"Reply" Mouseover Shortcut Button in Mail Viewer Fails!

The "reply" shortcut button that appears in the right-side e-mail viewer "always' fails to send. I mean it appears to send but there is never any proof in my sent folder and I have only just realized this after realizing that many people have not received emails from me.
The fix is to use the Mail's Menu Bar then "Reply" - this will send out properly and also show the threaded reply message. This works across the board-whether an iCloud e-mail, Google, work, etc.
Is this a bug?
This was an embarrassing find as I use Mac Mail at work and now I have to go back and confirm just how many emails were never sent from me.
Apple - this needs to be immediately fixed. As the lone Apple user at work, now I get to fight off jabs from my peers that Apple can't even make a Mail application that works.
If there is a fix, I'm not sure what it would be as I have a brand new MBP w Retina and the latest ML release and updates.

Wow, never tried that one. I just tried it now - replied to an email and sent it to myself, and then replied to myself (so I didn't have to change the "To"). It sent it out right away (I heard the outgoing Mail swoosh), showed up in my Inbox on all my devices and computer, and also in my Sent Items.
Not sure if it somehow is different if you are replying to someone other than yourself. Does this seem to be an intermittent kind of thing?
If so, then I think the only thing you can do is to make sure you hear the outgoing mail swoosh, and if you don't, see if you can troubleshoot the problem at the time it occurs. Seems kind of weird....

Yes, Bridge shortcut has been removed from PS CS5. However, you can go to File->Browse in Bridge option to open the file in Br CS6.

Suddenly getting message that my system doesn't support final cut. this is after hooking up an external lacie hard drive and downloading a new lacie shortcut button software. i had also safe started the computer.

I am suddenly getting an error message when i try to start up final cut pro 7. it won't let me anymore, saying i don't meet system requirements. this started after I hooked up my lacie external drive and found the shortcut button to not be working properly. i then turned off my computer and safe started it. that didn't help. so i downloaded a new lacie shortcut button software. then i could no longer start final cut. also, my screen shots on my desktop appear blank when i try to open them now.

if your using the Lacie as a scratch drive for Final Cut, uninstall the backup software and blue button control utility to use the drive properly to save and read media files.
Lacie blue button drives are for automated backup and dont perform with FCP

I have an error message that won't go away and stops me from using any other buttons in the screen.

I have an error message reading 'item over 1 byte. Connect to a wifi network or use iTunes on your computer to download 'tv show'.
When I connect it to iTunes or use a wifi network nothing changes. The warning remains in place no matter how many times I push 'ok'. iTunes actually says the show is already fully downloaded.
I can't use any other button or controls because the only thing responding is the 'ok' button on the error message.
I've now given up and am just trying to exhaust the battery. What a joke. This device is only a week old.
Anyone else with a suggestion on how to make the error message go away? I'm worried this will happen again.

Try this.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Itunes causes Windows Vista Explorer shortcut buttons to misbehave

Hi,
I've been observing some strange phenomena on my Windows Vista which my wife recently correlated to running ITunes. I'm pretty sure she is right about ITunes being the cause.
When ITunes has been running for a while, the shortcut buttons at the bottom of the screen (one for each running application) end up being drawn shifted, such that the rightmost one appears UNDER the circular icon with the Window's logo flag (the "start" button), but the actual button is still in it's correct place. The result is is that when you click on a button, it activates an adjacent application!
Furthermore, when I start ITunes, I get a notification that Quicktime is out of date. The warning reads: "Some of your QuickTime software is out of date. You can fix this problem by updating to the latest version." with "Cancel" and "DoItNow" buttons. When I click the DoItNow button, I then get another message: "Information received from the Quick Time server is invalid. Please try again later."
I am running ITunes 7.5.0.20.

Lets break this down step by step.
In your first question you say that when itunes is running for a while it shifts the buttons on the task bar. when this happens you have to unlock the task-bar and manually fix the task bar.
Right click the task bar and select unlock task bar
Fix the task bar
And then right click the task bar again and select lock the task bar.
If it helps you might need to close itunes to fix this problem.
(Note itunes 7.5 has a lot of problems in it hopefully the next itunes update will resolve this.)
Your next question states that when you try to up date quick time you get a message saying that the"Information received from the Quick Time server is invalid. Please try again later."
The best way to fix this is to download the installer files off of the apple website and install them.

Download and install the installer which is the updated version of quick time
(There is an option to download both itunes and quick time )

First day I used word to do my file, it can used the shortcut, such as "command+C for copy and command+V for paste".
Now I can't used any shortcut in word, even though I opened another word file also can't used any shortcut.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive & clear caches.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
