Apach 2.2.21 using Weblogic Plugin (10.3.5)

Hi All,
I have configure apache using Weblogic Plugin and it work for http. So moving forward, i am trying to configure a 2 way SSL with weblogic plugin and have configure all the oracle wallet.
I got my plugin from my weblogic server /opt/bea/wlserver_10.3/server/plugin/solaris/sparc/. The version of my weblogic is 10.3.5.
When i do a apachectl -t to check the syntax and i got the following errors:
# /usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl -t

Invalid command 'WLSSLWallet', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
Below is the configuration files on my httpd.conf

My apache is compile with the following flags, if that matters to anyone. Advance thanks to anyone who reply this thread =)

Configuring Apache HTTP Server with Oracle Weblogic Server plugin

Hello friends,
I have a scenario of OIM 9.1.0.2 on Oracle Application Server 11g and Weblogic Server Apache HTTP Server.
Oracle WebLogic Server is configured in cluster (node1 and node2), also use the Oracle Weblogic Server plugin for integration with Apache.
One of the tests is to lose one of the nodes for the apache plugin redirects the node that has less overhead.
When the mode is node1 and node2 stop start mode and try to access the management console of Oracle Identity Manager, the plugin sometimes redirects to the other active node, and on another occasion shows the oracle management console identity manager without the colors of the basic look and feel.
Deputy of the Apache HTTP Server log, do you expect your comments to solve this case?

Note that the plug-in does a round robin load balancing, for example, in the case of three server (1,2,3) it does 1-2-3-1-2-3-1...
with server 3 going down it does 1-2-1-2-1...

This is somewhat strange, do you have session binding turned off?

I have an apache server and a bea weblogic application server. For security reasons, I wold like to configure a bea plugin on the apache server to redirect the client http/https requests from the apache2 server to bea application server.
I have gone through the bea documentation and configure my apache2 httpd.conf as follows

It did not work
httpd is started propery.

The Web server plug-ins do not natively support outbound SSL connections
yet(i.e. SSL from the plug-in to WebLogic). This is a feature for version
6.0. You can use SSL from the browser to Apache or from the browser to
WebLogic directly.
The majority of our customers use strict firewall rules to protect the
traffic between Apache and WebLogic. If they are paranoid, they use an SSL
proxy or a VPN product.

I want to install weblogic plugin in apache running on redhat Linux WS4. I have read the documentation. In my local weblogic,under this directory C:\bea81SP4\weblogic81\server\lib\linux
I see the following three folders
a) i686
b) ia64
c) s390.
I dont know which folder to choose. Please advise.

according to your processer you have to chose mod_ ..so file
if you got error with sp4 plug in file use the plug in file from the another version
plug in files are compatable

How to specify a cipher suit used between plugin and weblogic server?

I install Weblogic8.1 SP3 which supports for strong cipher suits, and config an apache 2.50 server as an front end.
I config appache to use 2 way SSL with browser and wls one way SSL with apache plugin. Then config apache to forward client certs to WLS. now the problem is, I can see that the SSL connection between browser and apache uses a strong cipher suit('SSL_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_MD5'), but the ssl connection bwtween apache plugin and WLS uses a weak cipher suit('SSL_RSA_EXPORT_WITH_RC4_40_MD5'), with the SnoopServlet, although I use the mod_wl128_20.so module. How can I increase the cipher strength of SSL between WLS and it's apache plugin?

Hello Gunaseelan,
This is not possible because WLS 6.1 needs a config.xml file, exactly this
name, to start.
What you can do is to define a recovery domain, called myrecovery_domain for
instance, and put the config_recovery.xml, renamed "config.xml".

You need to make sure you are using the latest plugin. Please download the
latest Service Pack and grab the mod_wl.so from there.

according to your processer you have to chose mod_ ..so file
if you got error with sp4 plug in file use the plug in file from the another version
plug in files are compatable

Plugin(mod_wl.so) for Apache 1.3.X for weblogic 8.1 on Windows

Can anyone tell me where I can get a plugin(mod_wl.so) for Apache 1.3.X for weblogic 8.1 on Windows. The plugins are avaiable for solaris,AIX and linux. But I could not find any thing for Windows. The plugins are available for Apache 2.X.

I have Apache running on two Linux web servers (dell2 and dell3)
and WLS running on two Linux app servers (dell5 and dell6).
I can also run Apache on two Sun/Solaris web servers (sun2 and
sun3). I have the AcceptBacklog parameter set to 100 on each
WLS Server. There is no problem when I drive the WLS servers
through mod_wl.so running on the Sun servers. The CONNECTION_REFUSED is only seen
when I try to drive them through
mod_wl.so on the Apache/Linux systems.
What is the ap_proxy.cpp file referenced in the error message?
It doesn't appear to be part of the Apache source code yet I
can see references to various ap_proxy functions.

Apache weblogic plugin issue

Configuration: Apache 2.0.63 as the front end to weblogic (9.1) application server. same thing observed in weblogic 9.2 as well.
Our client application sends the Cookies to the Apache:
Cookie: Server_session_id=XXXXXXXX
Cookie: JSESSIONID=LhTTZ2Cs1JSlRMPgGTx4BxmG67ML3ryv0PlPbYkhp4s72dpngsJl!-912570241
But Apache weblogic plugin when sends the request to weblogic:
Cookie: DAKServer_session_id=14612273741264701005679, JSESSIONID=LhTTZ2Cs1JSlRMPgGTx4BxmG67ML3ryv0PlPbYkhp4s72dpngsJl!-912570241
Note: comma is used as deliminator
HttpservletRequest consider only 1 cookie instead of 2.
I’m looking for resolution for this. Is there a way I can configure Apache plugin to send 2 cookies or configure it to send cookies with deliminator ‘;’

I asked the same question and was told that this is not possible. There is only one way that the plugin can balance requests and that is using the round robin approach. If you talk to support, ask them to submit a feature request. ...I was told that if enough people request more options for load balancing, they may build it into the plug-in.

Debugging with Eclipse Plugin using Weblogic 6.1

I am having a problem debugging using Eclipse 2.1 and the weblogic server plugin
provided by this site.
If I start the server and run the application everything works fine.
If I put a breakpoint into my code and then run the application I do not see the
application breaking at all. I am in debug view of Eclipse. The browser just
hangs and will not respond. I can take the breakpoint off and refresh the browser
and it works fine again.
Do I need to have anything special in a configuration file for weblogic to enable
debugging ?
Do I need to start the JVM with any special parms. I am currently using the following
startup options. I have tried a number of configurations on the startup options
and nothing works.
-hotspon
-ms64m
-mx256m
-Xdebug
-Djava.compiler=none
-Xnoagent
-Dweblogic.ProductionModeEnabled=false
I am using Weblogic 6.1 and JDK 1.3.1_09

Installing Apache-WebLogic plugin

I have followed the steps (1-6) mentioned at

for installing the Apache-WebLogic plugin.
However, after doing it I could not start Apache. I get the following error.
Syntax error on line 235 of /etc/apache/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/apache/libexec/mod_wl.so into server: ld.so.1:
/usr/apache/bin/httpd: fatal: /usr/apache/libexec/mod_wl.so: open failed: No
such file or directory
Line 235 consists of the following entry
LoadModule weblogic_module /usr/apache/libexec/mod_wl.so
I do have the file /usr/apache/libexec/mod_wl.so in my directory with the
same permissions
as other files in the same directory.
Any help is appreciated.

I found the problem. mod_wl.so is the SPARC version and I was trying to
run on Intel Solaris. Is there an Intel version of this file?

Apache/2.2.4 (Win32) + Weblogic 8.1 Problem with Module

Hey together,
i'm pretty new to this whole weblogic thing.
I wanted to install the apache plugin for weblogic. I am using weblogic 8.1 and apache 2.2.4 on win xp sp2.
I followed the instructions given in the tutorial at bea.com.
When i try to test the conf-file via httpd.exe -t i get
httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 116 of C:/Programme/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load C:
/Programme/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/modules/mod_wl_20.so into server: Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefun
den.
But the mod_wl_20.so file is definitley in this directory as all the other modules.
This is the important part of my httpd.conf:

I even downloaded the latest version of this plugin without sucess. It's all 32 bit, so there should be no problems with that.

What do you have on line 116 ? I have it setup on Win2k and it works fine with the following statements. Only difference is that I have Apache 2.0.54 (not 2.2.x)
