Apache VirtualHost for portal2go (PTG)
Hi:
i want to create a virtual host for my portal2go applications. i want an easy url for people access it.
my server is portal.domain.pt
and my portal2go url is portal.domain.pt/ptg/rm
i want to create a quick url like mobile.domain.pt that would access portal.domain.pt/ptg/rm
i've already created the domain in dns directing to my portal.domain.pt
i've followed steps under note 235169.1 and tried to use proxypass and RewriteEngine directives but with no success. the note tell that if i would put thhe following code in httpd.conf that would work.

but after this, if i write in my browser http://mobile.domain.pt that just goes to http://portal.domain.pt page and not to http://portal.domain.pt/ptg/rm
What is wrong here?
The other option was to use proxypass, and i used like this:

I tried to change rewriterule like this:

But the server just goes to the same page... the Oracle Application Server Welcome Page....

Setup issues: Apache plugin for Weblogic
Hi,
I've spent couple of days without success trying to configure apache plugin for weblogic. I've configured in accordance with bea documentation and it works fine in windows environment but fails in Solaris 9.
Plugin log file says it's processed the request successfully but I see error message in browser saying it can't find the jsp file. It works fine if I access the weblogic box directly without going through apache.
I'm using Weblogic 8.1 SP2, single server.
Please find below the messages appear in browser, plugin logs, and apache version.

=================Plugin Logs End================Yes it is IBM Http Server, but it works fine from Windows accessing the same weblogic server I'm trying to connect from Solaris.
I see 500 error in the apache access log file.
I've also tried with by setting "MaxRequestsPerChild" to 0 in the apache config file but no good.

I have Apache 2.x running.
The module "mod_wl_20.so" is in the <apache_home>/modules directory.
httpd.conf contains the following:

I restart the httpd server without problems...and yet i cannot
get http://<apache server ip address>/weblogic to work

weblogic81\server\bin directory for the mod_wl_20.so.

Not able to properly install "Tools for Apache Cordova for Visual Studio 2013"

I am using visual studio 2013 ultimate running on a 64-bit windows 7 home premium.
When I tried to install the "Tools for Apache Cordova for Visual Studio 2013", the installation completed but showed the following error in the end. This is what the error says:

I thought maybe windows phone SDK 8 is not installed on my pc.( as mentioned in the requirements here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-in/library/dn757054.aspx). I tried to install the SDK, by choosing modify from the control panel (as
mentioned in the same link above), but it didn't show "Windows Phone SDK" on the list. And Microsoft says that you cannot install the SDK v8.0 on windows 7. Please help me with this.OK...
1) So, how do I write JavaScript code? There is only one option when I select JavaScript form the "New Project" window and that says "Blank App (Apache Cordova)". when I try to create one it shows all these errors:

What's wrong with my Apache VirtualHost?
I copied my websites from my PC to my new MacBook Pro and am not trying to set up virtual hosts, using the site Geobop as an example.
It is located at /Library/Webserver/Documents/Geobop
I copied my httpd.conf file to my Desktop, modified it with TextEdit, then used Terminal to copy it back to its original location (/private/etc/httpd), so it now looks like this:

I also opened NetInfo Manager and added Geobop under machines. So under machines, I now have the following...

In the bottom window, Geobop and localhost both register 127.0.0.1 for ip_address, ./local for "serves."
When I type http://localhost/ into my browser, it displays the standard Apache welcome. But when I type in http://Geobop/, it displays my ONLINE website, http://www.geobop.org/, rather than my local Geobop site.
Any idea where I went wrong? Thanks.I think you hit the nail on the head. I recall having some problems regarding case on my PC, so I'll try changing my server alias, as you suggested. In the meantime, I got the following ping results:

How to do Apache configuration for two different domains

I was just trying out some clustering workshop on weblogic. I faced a issue..here is the scenario :
I have two clusters :
Cluster1 : 3 managed servers (server1,server2,server3)
Cluster2 : 2managed servers (server4,server5)
I have two sample applications which i have deployed on these two clusters i.e app1 on cluster1 and app2 on cluster2.
These two aplications are deployed successsfully as i am able to open these applicatons from browser by calling the individual port of the managed server like : http://localhost:7003/app1.
Now i have installed a apache server on my laptop and configured the http.conf file.
Issue : I am not able to call both the application from apache. If there is only one cluster then it is working fine and for two application only one cluster (application) is working that too whose port is defined in the last.

This configuration is weird little bit. There is MatchExpression /app1 and MatchExpression /app2 and at the same time two <Location /weblogic> sections. Are you sure you understand what that configuration stands for?

Coldfusion 10 Mappings and Apache VirtualHosts
Im having a little difficulty figuring out coldfusion mappings with numerous virtualhosts in apache.
It seems that CF10 handles things differently than CF8. I used to be able to add mappings in the CFIDE and brose to the files directly, or in the case of a cfc, get the component info. It seems that CF10 no longer follows mappings, or at least not externally. We have come flex apps that rely on these mappings, and they can no longer get to the cfcs. Adding aliases in apache did not fix the issue, since the CFC cannot read session variables from Application.cfm when invoked that way. Does anyone have any ideas?Thank you for the reply Carl
Unfortunately it is a development server on an internal / private network, so there is no public access.
Regardless, it appears that the CF10 vs apache mappings were not the problem themselves. We are able to access the cfc directly, and unless a method is specified, it will show the CFC explorer.
The issue that is still plagung us is that the CFC seems to be including parts of the fusebox framework, though there is no application.cfm application.cfc or other automatically included page. We cannot figure out what is causing this behavior. Anyway, I have a seperate thread for that issue here : http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1427279

I'm attempting to set up a virtual host in the apache server of the 9ias middle tier. I set up 2 virtual host containers, 1 to handle the normal server, and the second that is the real virtual server. The virtual hosts seem to work correctly except that I cannot get the second virtual host to serve up its default index.htm file. Its going to the main index.htm file that is defined in the main server.

The reason for the virtual host is to have an extranet accessible by vendors - I don't want them going to the normal company intranet. Anyone got any ideas here?I am having the same problem. I've defined a virtual host (by name) to point to a new web site. Now I get the new website every time regardless of how I point to the server. The default page is no longer accessible by name or IP address.
Anyone have any ideas?

How can i create datasource on apache server for ADF application?
Hi All,
i my use case i have created simple adf application using ADF BC and want to deploy on Apache server 6.x.
So my question is that how can i create Data Source i have goggling and find two different way to do this.
1. write following line of code on apache server conf/Context.xml file.
<Resource name="jdbc/TestDB" auth="Container"
type="javax.sql.DataSource"
driverClassName="oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver"
url="jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:dst"
username="jagrandb" password="jagrantest" maxActive="20" maxIdle="10"
maxWait="-1"/>
but when i have used this way i got following exception.
org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.PoolingDataSource$PoolGuardConnectionWrapper cannot be cast to oracle.jdbc.OracleConnection

so what is the solution how to create datasource on apche server which suitable for adf application?
when i test data source using following code used 1. way as i mentioned above its running fine bt not for second.

Error while configuring apache FOP for printing
Dear All,
I have a requirement to print a report using custom layout.
I have installed apex 4.2 by configuring embedded PL/SQL gateway. I used the link:

And for printing purpose I am installing apache FOP. I have installed oc4j in standalone mode. I followed the link:

Seems like the Java EE container is looking for the Java compiler. Try installing the Java Development Kit (JDK) and respecify your JAVA_HOME accordingly. HTH.
