API for VBean needed

Hello,
Where can i download the API for VBean and other classes from oracle.forms.*?

VBean is actually documented in the help system, where each item type is described and the properties IDs that you can get and set when building a custom PJC are listed.
All of the Items including the bean area implement the IView interface which is again documented in the help.
Unfortunatley the JavaDoc for these classes and interface is not available.

I need to Transmit different messages to the same ArbitrationID address. The Transmited messages have variable lengths. Can I call ncConfig on an object to change the NC_ATTR_CAN_DATA_LENGTH even after the call to ncOpenObject. Or do I have to Close the object and reopen it after the call to ncConfig?

Hello Genesis,
your second assumption is right. You do have to close, reconfigure and reopen the object in order to change the data length.
As long as you're using the CAN Object in the 'Transmit Data by Call' mode only, you might want to consider using the Network Interface for transmitting. When you use the Network Interface, you can change the ArbitrationID for each write call.

I need API for Narrator in Ease of Access

I need to see if Narrator accessibility is on/off. (Only on WP 8.1)
How can it be done? Is there any API for this?
I was googling for a long time and can't see anything.

While I recognize the potential for abuse, an API for determining whether or not Narrator is running would be very useful for developing accessible apps that work across devices.
In my limited experience developing the test application for a Cordova accessibility plugin on Windows Phone 8.1, I can provide a couple good reasons for providing a way to detect if Narrator is running.
Aria live regions simply don’t appear to work on Windows Phone 8.1. If you test any web pages that use live regions, Narrator on Windows Phone fails to announce changes to the live region.
Live regions seem to work on the desktop, but are harder to work with for providing text to speech for complex interactions than the Windows.Media.SpeechSynthesis API. For example:
It’s difficult to stop speaking a live region update. Once, a screen reader starts speaking a string from a live region, removing the text node or replacing it with an empty string will not stop speaking that string.
I’ve implemented "speak" and "stop" methods to speak or stop speaking a string of text in my Cordova accessibility plugin for Windows, but without knowing whether or not Narrator is on or off, the methods will work all the
time, even when Narrator is off, which is not desirable.
Cordova apps are often developed to use gestures for navigation. The pointer event listeners that respond to these gestures may not be accessible when Narrator is active, in which case is important to provide an alternate mode of navigation. Windows
Phone already provides an example of this; if you scroll to the bottom of the start screen, there is a button that navigates to the application list, which may be there for accessibility, because the two-finger swipe gesture to access the application
list may not be easily discoverable to someone using Narrator.

You need to first create a currency translation types using transaction RRC1.
Tab1 - Exchange Rate: -
You need to give a exchange rate based on which currency conversion will take place. Check with your business which exchange rate type to be used. You need to extract these exchange rate types from R/3 on a daily basis.
Tab2 - Source Currency
In your case it should be " Source Currency from data record".
Tab3 - Target Currency
You can set the target currency fixed as
USD.
Tab4 - Time reference
You need to check this with business.
You have got two places where you can perform a currency translation.
1) In the update rules and store the converted amounts in USD in cube.
2) Store the original transaction records in the cube and do the currency conversion at the query level.
I would suggest to go for option 2. In the query select the key figure that you want to carry out the currency conversion on. Right click -> properties -> currency translation -> selct the translation key that you have already defined.

Hi Everyone, I am new in Business Catalyst, but, my company is working with BC for a while. I have a task to import external data (such as catalogue, products, orders, shopping cart etc) to business catalyst native tables via SOAP api. I am able to use "Product_ListRetrieve" function that gave me products from BC. Now I want to insert and update product list, for which the api call is "Product_UpdateInsert". I am not being able to feed in even a single record. I need any code (jquery, php, javascript, java etc) as a sample, that works with SOAP api for this function. It is very urgent. Please help me. Hi BCMan, Thanks for replying. Yes, the error is from BC side. The format was invalid. I fixed the issue today. Actually, I was pushing data from my PHP server to BC host system using SOAP api. I am still getting format errors, but I am able to insert data into products table.
One more question if you don't mind. Is it possible to use JQuery/Javascript to push data into BC tables in real time (while browsing products table) using customized pages? There are documents to solve this. However, I could not find examples of how I could fetch data from JSON file using JQuery and then populate products/catalog/order tables.

Can you please let me know the list of standard APIs that can be used for iExpese. The requirement is that we need to create new OAF pages which insert data into iExpense Tables and also we need to do validations like the standard functionality of iExpense, hence we are looking for APIs which perform the standard validations and insertion of data for the iExpense tables. Adobe needs to develop an api for communicating with HTML Overlays & Indesign Objects

I'm a front-end developer who has been assigned the task of developing one of our client's DPS every month. While I praise Adobe for saving a dying a industry and giving non-developers simple GUI controls, they need to develop an api for communicating from HTML Overlays to Indesign MSOs and other objects.
I've had to do some intense animations/pages; which I in turn simply developed all in HTML5 and did an overlay. The time put into those pages could have been greatly reduced if their was a proper API in place to trigger different MSO and events. Is anybody at Adobe working on this? As DPS matures, and more developers are tasked with making folios it's imperative we have a proper way way to develop.

We had a page for embedded movies in a lightbox; the client said customers were complaining that the folios were too large and took too long to download. So we switched to youtube streaming page, but they wanted a poster and autoplay enabled. If you have ever programmed with mobile video, you'll know devices are extremely difficult to manipulate.
I had to do an html overlay with a bunch of transparent divs for hotspots and buttons. If I could have told Indesign to move different objects layer orders or go to a different MSO it would have saved me hours.
Doesn't DPS support localstorage? Couldn't you guys whip up a little api to trigger events via localstorage?
Off topic, another request:
- enable the safari webkit inspector for debugging connected ipads with folios that have html overlays; you guys don't fully support HTML5 or certain js events and it's extremely annoying and difficult to debug.

If you use version 2.0 of the rxtx library then it provides a complete implementation of the javax.comm package.

According to the oracle knowledgebase, there is no Public API. But there is an enhancement request that you might want to add your company to.

API for Shared Review in Acrobat SDK

Hi,
I would like to implement the functionality for Shared Review programmatically.
Right now we need to open each pdf file select Comments -> Send for Shared Review in Acrobat Professional and follow the steps in wizard.
I am looking at achieving the above steps programmatically so that I need not open each pdf individually and run through the wizard. For this, is there any API available either in Acrobat 8.1 or 9.0 SDK which I can make use of and build an automatic service.
