I am trying to store and retrieve the content using Content Services features of ADEP 10.0.
I am able to store and retrieve content where as I am not able to get the version of the document. I am trying to store same or different document, but I donot get the version history or version label. Please guide me how I can get the version of a stored document.
Also, please advise me if there are simple alternative to do the same in ADEP10.

Unable to work with Java APIs in MDM new version 5.5.42.65

Hi,
I developed few java applications using MDM Java APIs in the old version(5.5.41.70) of MDM.
After installing new version(5.5.42.65) of MDM in my system, i tried to execute the java applications,am getting failed to execute the applications.
Does the change in the Version not allowing the Java MDM application to execute or is there any other reason..?

Are you using the new jar files as well? The api jars and the mdm server must be on exactly the same version.

I've noticed that the API for the PofExtractor class has changed from 3.5.1 to 3.5.2. It does break binary compatibility so I need a way to know if I'm loading the right dll.

It sounds like you are looking for a way to do this at runtime, which unfortunately we do not have. We do have an existing enhancement request (COH-2399) to add this support, but it is currently not available.
You can check the library version externally in a few ways however:
- run "sanka -version", using the sanka.exe tool shipped with coherence, it will print out the version string of the coherence DLL it loads
- use the standard UNIX "what" command supplying it the shared library, and it will do the same, even on Windows
You could in fact write your own version of 'what' in a function and then do things programatically. Here is the description from the 'what' man page.
what reads each file name and searches for sequences of the form
``@(#)'', as inserted by the source code control system. It prints the
remainder of the string following this marker, up to a null character,
newline, double quote, or ``> character.''
So basically scan the library binary for the pattern and you'll find the version string.
Regarding PofExtractor, it was unfortunate we had to break backwards compatibility, it is not something we do often, or take lightly. Please note that we did it in such a way to still retain on the wire compatibility, so if that is the reason for your question you should be able to simply not worry about it.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to get the list item version using CSOM or JavaScript.
There is no directly way to get the list item version using CSOM or REST Api, however, there are alternative options as below.
We can use the SharePoint List web service
that exposes Lists.GetVersionCollection Method to return version information for the specified field in a SharePoint list.
There is a code demo to retrieve the List1 item version, it works like a charm, you can refer to it.

Do I not get full versions of the CC software when I buy a CC membership?

So I bought my CC membership back in January I think. And the first thing I did was install Premiere Pro CC. I needed it. Now about a month later, I need it again, and it says that I'm on a trial version. I signed into my CC, and tried again, but it still tells me I'm on a trial. The same thing happens with Speedgrade. Apparently after paying for 2 months of subcription, I can only use a 30 day trial version of the software I need. Is this a normal thing? Or should I call adobe, and get this fixed? I'd really really like to have working software on my computer, and I'm spending the money to have it. I'm in college, and on a pretty tight budget, so if I don't get actual versions of the software, I'm going to cancel my subscription. Nowhere on the literature on the CC does it say that you only get access to 30 day trials of most of the software. Please give me a hand here. I need to know if I should end my subscription or not.

Using patch plans for 12.1.0.2 target oracle home fails with 'PREREQ_MESG: Unable to get the version of OPatch'

We are attempting to use patch plan to apply PSU and one-offs to a new 12.1.0.2 database oracle home. Our EM version is 12.1.0.4.
We are experiencing the same issue described in ''Bug 20271609 : Unable to get the version of OPatch". This bug is closed as 'duplicate bug to filer' but we do not appear to have visibility into what patch/bug fixes the issue.
Description from the above mentioned bug is our same issue. We do not have this issue when we use patch plans against an 11.2.x oracle_home target. It is unique to 12.1.0.2 oracle_home target.

The Plan failed in step "Run Prerequisite Checks" with the following errors:
PREREQ_NAME: Minimum Version of OPatch
PREREQ_DESC: Check if the required version of OPatch is present on the target

We have opened an SR to see if we can get more info on what was already identified as a bug. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, can you share any patches or workarounds (other than manually applying patches) that you found useful?

You'll probably get the same info from Support, but the workaround is to use the Patch Database (however that doesn't work if there's no DB target associated to that home). If you were trying to do patchign out of place (clone home, patch, then move db's), EM can do this for you. If you're just installing a new DB Home and trying to patch, then i don' think there's another workaround. The base bug is marked fixed though, so a backport for the 12.1.0.6 plugin should be available very soon. I would ask the support analyst to request the backport for your plugin/patch level...

For such situation, I'd suggest the following:
1. Remove current installed office with the fix-it tool in
KB2739501, and follow the "Remove Office manually" section to make sure there are no remaining files
2. Either download a trial version of Office 2013 from

You can upgrade to Mountain Lion
Upgrading from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99.
If you sign into the App Store and try to purchase Mountain Lion but the App Store says your computer is not compatible then you may still be able to upgrade to Lion per the following information.
Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
     OS X Mountain Lion - System Requirements
       Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
         1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
