Hi,
I am in configuration for a German Company, the requirement is, SAP has provided country specific payment methods like DTAUS0 for Germany, BACS for Great Britan and so,
To configure DTAUS0 method for German company, the bank requires the output in text (string) format,
I need help to configure APP payment through DTAUS0 (Data Medium exchange DME file ) method so that the SAP system of company can directly connect to BANK system for making payments.
Kindly provide details how to configure the same.

I'm trying to use an encryption library with Flash using Alchemy (PolarSSL)
I don't have any experience with compiling C and stuff (I've programmed in C# and Flash before) and I get an error when trying to compile my test program. I get :

Does anyone know why I am getting this error? I managed to compile only the MD5 part of the library in flash and it all worked, that happens only when I try to put more classes from PolarSSL into my library.

Understanding the app.batch method is CS2 JS scripting

Hi,
I'm a press officer in a fairly busy press office and I'm trying to automate my image-processing workflow for the images we put on our website...So far I've been using photoshop's (CS2) batch command to do this but it's not as performant as I would like it to be.
For each of the pictures I have I need to produce
- 'large'(1024px wide),
- 'frontpage'(240px wide),
- 'rollup'(85px wide) versions.
I put all my original pictures in a source folder and the processed ones go to a destination folder. The only problem I've got is that I need to run the batch command three times for each format, plus photoshop asks me for JPEG options for each picture, so I can't really press a button and get away from my work station..
So I've looked into scripting in javascript and have managed to automate some of my sipmle tasks but what I need to do here (producing images in three different formats with a specific file naming conventions) is obviously complicated.
Now, reading the CS2 javascrip reference guide, I found that the app.batch method and all the options that go along with it (destinationFolder, fileNaming especially) might be what I'm looking for. The only problem is that i can't seem to find any examples (I've spent the last week searching) to help me using that method...
Can anyone share an example of how you use this method so I can get my head around it?

Finding a version that works with CS2 might be a problem.
xbatch may work. I haven't run it on CS2 in years.

Recording drums app plus song output off of ipod touch

I have ipodtoch and a drum app. It supports playing along with the songs on my itunes. I want to do a cover using the drum app. And i want the drum app plus song output to be recorded? Either on my macbuk or the ipod itself . Any ideas??

Solution: Doing a "Reset all settings" will release whatever hold the app has. You'll have to set everything up (I did it as a new iPod).
Restore did nothing to resolve this issue.

We're all just users like you.
But I can tell you without reservation that PayPal cannot be used in an iOS app.

Using the app.setTimeOut Method

Ok, I really need help here. Ive been trying to get the app.setTimeOut method to work to no avail. Ive tried accessing a script object that I have many functions in with no success. Then I just tried to place functions into the script where I editing thinking that maybe because the script object is part of the xfa form object I couldnt access them through the app object,(or I was just using the wrong syntax) so that maybe if I placed the functions onto the same script and called them from there via:
app.setTimeOut(myFunction(),3000);
No dice. Ive tried all kinds of arrangements in quotations, (single quotes, double quotes, no quotes, etc.) and nothing. What Im trying to do is have a web service perform a query and bring back a string from the database if an object is found, then Id like for Acrobat to wait for a prescribed time before checking if the database actually returned a string value, or if it did not and display a message indicating that either it did return something or it did not.
I know that the app.SetTimeOut can see the function call Im making, because when I wasnt using quotes around the function (in the setTimeOut method) It was immediately displaying the messages. But when I put quotes around it nothing happens. Can someone help me?

Ok I just tried that, but it still didn't work. I've also tried writing the function code, under and above, the app.setTimeOut method and have had no success. When I do this the function runs, but does so immediately, no timeout. Thanks for your help on this.

App.listToolbarButtons() method in Acrobat X

The method app.listToolbarButtons() does not work in Acrobat X.
To test, try to execute this in the JS console. It shows No output.
If Adobe has discontinued this function in X, then it should have produced a "Function Not defined" output, but it does not say this.
However, it also does not return anything.
Is there a security or other option I need to enable or set..
Does anybody know anything about this.

Looking for a simple app that can output 8 channels simultaneously.

Hello esteemed audio community.
I have to create a little effect for an upcoming party. For this I have created the following audio tracks in Garage Band:
- 4 separate audio channels (stereo front and stereo rear)
- one mono combination of these four tracks (to drive a Light organ gizmo - makes the light flicker with the audio)
- and finally two separate tracks with simple 1Khz pulses to trigger relays for a fog machine.
I now need to be able to play these 7 tracks simultaneously and send them to different amplifiers and relays. So I need two things: 1) a software that can play them and 2) a hardware interface that can take these 7 channels out of the computer and convert them to line levels analog signals.
I thought this would be pretty straight forward but it turns out that it is not, unless you want to throw $$$ at it which I really can't afford.
Software wise, unfortunately, GB can only output 2 audio channel at one time. So I need to find a little app that can offers multitrack output. Ideally it would some shareware thing that would allow me to load in up to 8 tracks saved from GB, adjust their individual levels and then output them.
Second issue is hardware. Here I have found the M-Audio 410 firewire. This box will take up to 10 audio "returns" and output them to analog. They can be found used for about $150. So I think this might work.
Budget for this setup is very limited, hopefully no more than $150. Quality does not have to be very high although a good bass response will be important for the effect. I don't need any recording. Only playback.
Would any one have any suggestion on how to best accomplish this? If this software does not exist, how complicated would it be to write it? Would Applescript be useful for this? All it needs to do is read 8 audio files (2 minutes max), allow me to adjust their level and output all 8 at the same time.

Didn't have time to do more than skim, but 'Ardour' looked promising. Protools is the only one I've used, the full product is one of the industry standards, but the free 'lite' version listed here seems to be limited to 2 in/out as well.
Referring to your original post, I'd think trying to write or 'script' something would be a nightmare ... synchronisation of streams within something like Applescript would be a major issue, quite apart from anything else.

How to get codes for app.executeCommand() method?

Hi There,
I have used some command codes before to get at specific items AE's global menu before, but only because I was able to reference them here on the discussions. For example, to bring up the General Preferences windows, I can use this:
app.executeCommand(2359);
How can I find the exact code to use for any other command? Is there a comprehensive list somewhere? Is there a method to debug AE so I can inspect for them?

I have to implement Output conversion method in HRPAD00INFTYUI for the requirement of adding custom field in the structure HRWPC_S_EP_COMMUNICATION. Usage is, In MSS general data service the manager should see his subordinates telephone extn number and his mobile number.
While trying to add, system is asking for access key and one possible solution is append structure. I am confused after seeing the parameters in that BADI. Anyone please give solution for the above requirement. Please share code as well if you have.

I am curious: can you explain WHY you want method level security? It seems woefully overkill and paranoid to me - server level security should be enough to keep out rogue code.
Anyway for that level of security, the security measures built into the JVM should be used.

Can't call app module methods!

I have a web app that has two AppModules: AppModule and SFAppModule. SFAppModule is NOT nested within AppModule.
In a method inside of AppModule, I need to set a where clause for a view that is part of the data model for the SFAppModule. I can't seem to gain access to the other application module.
1. If I Make it a NESTED app module, then of course, I have a reference to it, as it adds it, BUT I'd end up having to fix the view references to this new AppModule.
2. I could always move the VIEW objects out of SFAppModule into AppModule, but the idea was that any object in SF was really specific to that "subsystem". Of course one of the main launch pages needs to read 6 different views, two from each app module (we're planning on adding one more application module).
Did we paint ourselves into a corner???
How can we get a reference to SFAppModule from inside of AppModule if it is NOT a nested application module of AppModule?

DEEPLY upset w/rapid-fire updates 2 FF & TB. ex: michael b unable 2 update toolbar buttons; w/out them FF/TB just other apps. this method incredibly disconcerting, frustrating, etc. PLZ RECONSIDER METHOD; go back 2 version changes. annoyed w/mozilla, LA

i've been using [& updating] mozilla FF & TB for years...in large part cause i felt they were the best for my needs, allowed the most functionality...and then became the most attractive with personas. but i found a long time ago, as with most computer applications, to wait till the second version of a new product. this was especially true of mozilla to make sure the add-on developers can keep up.
the add-ons to FF & TB give me so much more functionality....so much better than any other browsers out there. and then there are the changing personas...too match one's changing moods. [all hail MaDonna and her constantly exquisite & innovated art work.]
but mozilla has now made continuing this functionality an impossibility by its new horrible rapid update methodology. because MANY DEVELOPERS CAN NOT KEEP UP with this pace of significant change, FF & TB have been become FAR LESS FUNCTIONAL...and thus more & more like other, previously lesser, browsers & email programs out there,
is this perhaps the clue to go take a look at chrome, safari, opera and other browsers?
using this "update" methodology, will mozilla become like its predecessor, netscape.....OBSOLETE.
or, as has happened with so many other software companies including netscape, many of its employees or contributors saw that they could, in fact, do a better job and so started their own companies, as in how mozilla was born.
we can only hope this will be the case with mozilla: that many of its contributors will band together and divert from the mess that the current mozilla exec team has created.
oh by the way, ff 3.6.19 has suddenly started to crash more often, which i dont understand. and TB has started to freeze. hmmmmm......???????
if i changed browsers, i'd sorely miss personas & the many add-ons i use to customize FF & T B...making them it a much more functional than i ever could have hoped for. but each updated takes so much time & effort and so many add-ons are lost each time anyway, i would also lose that functionality anyway with mozilla. so what's the difference? NADA.
for years i have been an ENTHUSIASTIC SUPPORTER of all things mozilla, encouraging friends and coworkers to install and use it....often going out of my way to install FF & TB for many of them myself.
but as a result of the current "update" methodology by mozilla, i dont think updating FF & TB is worth it anymore so i stopped updating....both personally and professionally.
not only have i stopped recommending FF & TB, as the computer tech at an elementary school i no longer update FF or TB on the dozens of our existing computers that i previously installed them on and i no longer install it on our new computers. in fact, because the update situation in terms of add-ons has given some of my people such a headache, i have actually UNINSTALLED FF and TB on some computers...and, horror of horrors, they have actually gone back to microsoft internet explorer than risk what they have just gone thru with mozilla.
many on our staff are not so computer savvy so they depend on me for my computer advise and assistance.
each our classrooms has 2-4 computers, plus we have many more in our main offices, resource room, library, etc. we just ordered a 30-laptop mobile computer lab: i will make sure FF & TB are NOT installed on them.
our entire school campus has just had wi-fi installed. this will allow many on our staff to use their own laptops on campus. i will be discouraging them from installing FF or TB too.
JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING IS POSSIBLE DOESN'T MEAN IT IS THE RIGHT OR BETTER THING TO DO.
mozilla's exec team has failed to realize this...and for this reason alone i think they should all be sacked!!
just as some at netscape thought they could do a better job and formed mozilla, I PRAY some mozilla people will see the LACK OF MERIT in the current mozilla methodology and move out, starting a new browser company reinstating the functionality and sensibility that mozilla once had.
many developers can not keep up with this either....they also have lives, many of them very busy.
so this update method is unfair to developers and users. THIS ALL SPELLS INCONSIDERATION BY SMARTY-PANTS MOZILLA EXECUTIVE TEAM.
another problem at mozilla, getting more and more like evil microsoft in terms of DISALLOWING customer response.. i went to make a comment in another area, it would not even let me UNTIL I "UPGRADED" [if that's what it is] till the newest frustrating version. BOO HISS. BAD FORM MOZILLA
mozilla looks like it is replicating microsoft's outrageous methodology of updating its products AND treatment of consumers. but even ms doesnt do crazy updating too often. frequency of updating is way too much. OOOPPS....mozilla IS making the oft-hated microsoft look good. who could have thunk it.
or will mozilla end up going the way of netscape.......oblivion.
my frustration increases daily with mozilla's repetitious notifications to update to TB 6. not a chance until i can have MY michael b toolbar button add-ons.
as far as i am concerned the mozilla exec team has gone from stable & reliable to chaotic messiness. SHAME SHAME SHAME.
