APP-FND-01242: Cannot read value from field Error in Forms

Hi,
I have a form which is having a navigation
Setup -> Codes,
as soon as the Code page has open, am pressing Cntrl + F11, and am getting the
below error.
APP-FND-01242: Cannot read value from field COMBO.ENABLED_FLAG
Cause: The field COMBO.ENABLED_FLAG could not be located or read.
Action: This error is normally the result of an incorrectly-entered field name string in a trigger, or a field name string that does not uniquely specify a field in your form. Correct your trigger logic to precisely specify a valid field.
when am clicking on the button 'Ok' am getting a value one by one.
am a newbie to forms, please let me know how to solve this error in details

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to read values from lookup columns through custom workflow in SharePoint 2013.
Since the workflow just doesn't get lookup fields, let's give it something static to work with instead. If we can capture the ID of the lookup field and store that as a static value in our list, the workflow can happily use that to look up our related.

How to read values from the following XML?

I have been using "extractValue" to get the values from a xmltype field and no problems until now.
The xmltype now is like:
<a>1</a>
2
<c>1221</c>
<c>1412</c>
<d>11111</d>
<e>3333</e>
I'm able to read values from 'a,b,d,e' but not from 'c'.
Questions:
1)- Is posible to read the values of field c?. How?
2)- If is not posible to read the field values, Is posible to transfor the xmlfield to:
Where I will be able to use xmltable columns and loop getting the values.

In Purchasing, when I inquiry Autocreate form, it appears this error APP-FND-00756: Cannot find combination CCID=303998 CODE=MSTK SET=1079.
Does anyone have any ideas what cause this?

Your answer is correct, One PO in my company had the same issue. I checked that the item with the inventory item id "XX" (from "CCID=XX") was not assigned to the warehouse under which the PO was placed.

What language are you using? If using LabVIEW, you use the NI-DMM API to communicate with the 4040. Just take your reading, do your limit comparison, and set your lines based on the comparison results.

If the attachments are common files that your recipients should be able to read (PDF, DOC, TXT) then what is the setting when you select the menu command Edit > Attachments > Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments (checked or unchecked).
If it's unchecked you should check that setting and retry.

EP5: Cannot read license from lockserver

I hope someone with experience from the (good) old days of EP5 is listening.
We restored a clustered environment on different hardware and tried to get all components back connected.
(as a basis we used Backup_Restore_EP5_V30.pdf)
During the startup we receive next message in the console_logs on the nodes: "Cannot read license from lockserver: Connection refused"
Has anyone faced the same error or the same situation?

We started from scratch and added this information to the HOSTS file,with success!
We now get the server up and running and can login.
We see a list of our roles but the iViews,pages cannot be found.
We receive now next two error in the logs:

Reading values from JTextField and using them?

I am trying to make a login screen to connect to an oracle database. Im pretty new to creaing GUI. I need help with reading the values from the JTextField and to be able to use them for my connection. So do I need to apply a listener? How do I go about doing that in this project. the reason why you can't get the text is because you are reading the value before some actually inserts anything in any fields.
Here is what you need to do:
Create a JDialog/JFrame. Create a JPanel and set that panel as contentPane (dialog.setContentPane(panel)). Insert all the components, ie JLabels and JTextFields. Add two buttons, Login and Cancel to the panel as well. Now get the username and password field values using getText() inside the ActionListener of the Login.

How to read value from select list

i'm using jdev 10.1.3.1.0, adf, jsp and struts.
i've made a simple viewobject 'bestyrer' (danish for department) and it contains a list of all available department in my organization.
it appears in my jsp page as a dropdown list and when the user chose a specific department all employees in that department are shown as a master detail relationship.
It works and its standard drag'n'drop in JDev.
I need to know which department the user have chosen because the information i show to the user depends on it.
my view look like this:

How to read value from Key flexfield added on to the newly created SIT

Hi Experts,
I have a requirrment to display a new structure in the Special Information Types (SIT) screen in SSHR. The data entered into the segment needs to be validated using PL/SQL function.
I have performed below steps to display the structure/field on SIT Page
1. Created new flexfield structure as XX_LEAVE_ENCASHMENT under the "HUMAN RESOURCE" Application (Application id- 800) and flexfield TITLE "Personal Analysis Flexfield" (PEA).
2. Added a new segment "Encash Days" for the newly created flexfiled structure "XX_LEAVE_ENCASHMENT".
3. Added this new structure in the Special Information Types form in HRMS responsibility
4. The structure is enabled on the SIT screen.
Now I want to validate the data entered in Encash Days field in this page by calling a PL/SQL function. This can be done by extending the SIT page Controller.
But how should the ID of the newly enabled segment (in the new Flexfield strucuture) be retrieved in the controller inorder to read the user-entered value (to further call the validation program)? Or is there any other way of achieving this functionality in OAF?

Read values from Adobe Interactive Form inside the webdynpro

I have problems to read the values of the fields inside de adobe. I read an article on saptechincal that told:
You can see the Adobe form that we have designed, enter the data as shown below and press the submit button. (As I said earlier an activex control will be installed on to the client machine, you can see the activex control in the internet explore go to the menu: ToolsàInternet optionsàgo to the programs tab àPress button Manage add-ons.
You can see an activex control named u2018SAP ACFu2019, if you donu2019t have this control you will not see this page: Note you need to have adobe acrobat reader 7.1 installed, I have used version 9, the activex control was not working properly so down graded my adobe reader to 7.1)
This is true ??? I have the Acrobat reader 9.3 and i saw that also have the SAP ACF installed.
The value of the property displaytype on adobe interactive form on webdynpro is activeX or native.

I change the value of the attribute but again i can read anything from the adobe form. So let me explain what i'm doing.

Objective: I have to create one webdynpro with an adobe interactive form for create new clients on r/3 system.

1. I create de the view with 2 elements an interactive form and one submit button.

2. Create the context of the view with the following tree:

> context (node)

 > ADOBE_DATA (node)

 > Clients (from KNA1 table) (node)

 > KUNNR

 > LAND1

 > NAME1

 > ORTO1

 > TELF1

>PDF_SOURCE

3. Complementing the properties of the interactive form:
datasource = clients node of the context
displaytype = native
pdf_source = pdf_source attribute of the context
templatesource = name of the form

4. Create the form, and add the data source to the interface of the form

5. On the form bulider i add and subform on the hierarchy tab and the all the fields of the interface to the form and
automatically the value of the fields are binding.

6.Add a submit button from web dynpro native and add the event click to the button. Then i change the value of the layout type and save e activate the form and the interface

7. The next step is create an action for the button submit for the event "onSubmit". So i create the function and start coding this code:

DATA: adobe_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node,

 client_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node,

 client_element TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element,

 client TYPE if_create_client=>element_clients.

*Get reference to the adobe_data node from the context

8. Then for finalize i add the view to the window and crate a web dynpro application and put one break point on the submit function event.

9. Activate and test the application and when the program try to add a reference to the element node always returning a null reference and the application dumped.

So please help with this situation i can't understand what is the mistake.

PS: Now i have installed the acrobat reader 7.0.8

How to read data from field symbol containing Table

I defined a field symbols for reading output of a BRF plus rule however since fielk symbol is of type any
I cannot read its contents
Any inputs are highly appreciated
