App or Function to display size of grouped multiple photos / videos?

Hi to all the community!
Have searched a few forums for answer to this as well as experimenting with various apps but cannot fulfill what i thought would be a simple requirement...
All i want to acheive is to see the combined file size (aka 'space taken up in MB or GB') of a group of photos / videos stored locally to my iPad. I have no acces to my home desktop or laptop with itunes on it as i am travelling the globe, so i'm looking for a solution that is done entirely on the iPad with either an app i have yet to discover or a work around using the iPads functions.
Would be great if when you created a photo album in the photo app it could display the size in mb of your collected images and videos, but alas this is not possible. My photos and vids have pretty much all been imported via the camera connection kit (so not taken usign the ipads camera).
Also i am not currently running iOS 6 so apologies if this functionality has been added in the update... I am lookign for an iOS 5 solution.
Prepared to face the fact that its simply not possible but since photoshack pro (which i tend to use in place of the slghtly cumbursome 'photos' file system) can show at least the size of individual files, seemingly not folders/albums though, that it must possible?

Interesting Usafvmi08! I completely understand your concern and would want my pictures/ media saved as well. Let's figure this out.
First, the good thing is everything is backed up since you can access it all via your PC or iPad. Please try removing the app from your device, restart phone, then re-download and try again. Let's see if this makes your current media available.

Hello all,
When creating a new DPS, should I use the sizes offered by InDesign or the display size of the device? I ran into this question when I was looking up the sizes of different devices and found that iPhone 5s, iPhone5c, and iPhone4s sizes differ than the defauly dimensions offered by InDesign.
Also, should I worry about the ppi resolution? With iPhone, they all seem to be 326ppi but when dealing with other devices is this something that I should take into consideration? Ideally, I could be creating DPS apps for all devices offered in the Digital Publishing drop down in InDesign (iPhone, iPad, Kindle Fire/Nook, and Android).

By the way, if it helps I am using InDesign CC.

Using 1024x768 and creating PDF articles will get you OK with both iPad resolutions, and, as Bob L. says, quite decent "one size fits all" result for all other devices.

Display Total in Group Above Report

Hello,
I have a group above report with month, product_id, product_name as group above fields I have product_entry_date, description, total_qty, actual_qty etc as display fields in my report.
I would like to have a total and grand total for total_qty and actual_qty for product_id and product_name. Issue I am having is when I add a summary column for total_ qty and actual_qty, total is getting displayed for each month.
How can I display total and grand for total_qty and actual_qty?
Any help is highly appreciable.

total is getting displayed for each month.If not ,
Take a summary column at month group >> at properties .. Summary Function : Sum , Reset at month group.
and for grand total
take a summary column outside the query. >> at properties .. Summary Function : Sum , Reset at report.

Safari 5 display size?

Every time I open Safari 5 in Windows 7 Professional I have to Zoom in twice to get a suitable display size on my google.com homepage.
Even adjusting the two font sizes in Preferences/Appearance has no apparent effect.
Also, what's the simplest way to return to my homepage?

Thank you. I tried that but the pinch feature does not work for some reason. There could be some other problem in my general settings but short of doing a complete reset I looked and tried everything to remedy the problem. I am relatively new to Mac world so maybe I am overlooking some other obvious solution. One thing I did do is to download Opera which seems to work better as far as page display goes. Pinch function works but I cannot make the page stay the smaller size I pinch to, page stretches back to original size the minute I take my fingers off the screen!

Lot Size FS :-
When entering the lot size "FS" and in field the qty as fixed the system is splitting up the planned order qty.
For ex qty is 100 the fixed lot size is 25 the sys creates 5 planned orders of 25 each. The total qty now comes to 25
Lot Size PB :-
In period lot-sizing procedures, the system groups several requirements within a time interval together to form a lot
In PB periods of flexible length equal to posting periods.
Determines how the lot size is calculated for a certain lot-sizing procedure during material requirements planning.

Can we achieve a functionality to display content according to customizable

Hi,
I am new to UCM and have following queries . I tried searching on net but didnt get specific answers. Please guide me if possible?
1. Does UCM support streaming content. i.e. multimedia combination of video, sound and accompanying slides. And i need to know if it supports SMIL format files (Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language ). Do we need to buy any component for that or it is supported by default.
2. Can we achieve a functionality to display content according to customizable rules. For example to display a
list of pages in the "ABC" branch modified within the last 12 days?
3.Can we provide search/replace property in the WYSWYG editor, I didnt find the same there? Is there any ootb for that?
4.Can we have Distributed content authoring, in order to have multiple content owners working on the same set of pages?
5.Can UCM automatically generate a site map. Optionally certain pages should be able to be excluded from the map manually?
6. Can we create and manage micro sites (or country versions of specific branches) ?
Ideally content can be in the form of symbolic links - meaning unless the microsite "overwrites" content it takes content maintained in a global site.
7. Does UCM have capability to do page assembly (reusable components)? ie. Could it be possible to create components that can be selected by users and inserted into content for standard functionalities, e.g., video players, registration forms, zoom tools?
8. Does UCM have ability to upload multiple attachments/images at once?
9. Can we hide an existing content without deleting it and later showing it again?
10. Can we publish content directly to intranet, mobile format, e-Mail or need we to write any custom component for that?
11. Can we publish multiple content types at once?
12. Can web images (PNG, GIF, JPG) be easily managed by users with an interface that allows browsing by thumbnail, not just file name?

1. The Weblayout editor applet can be used to create virtual folders (not related to the Folders component) which are simply queries based on any metadata you like. So users can click on Browse Content/library folders to get to that section of the GUI then they will be presented with a base Page (think of it as a little UCM contained website) with links to reports, queries, and other pages even outside links like to Google. The number of pages you can create is not limited so you could create a large hierarchy of pages for reports and lists and search results. You can also secure sections of this internal website by security groups to keep some people from seeing those links on the pages (they simply do not show for you unless you have access to the group).
So all out of the box, and all based on metadata including security. This is the very oldest version of Folders and unlike the folders_g component is not limited in number of folders or items per folder and does not change system performance like Folders_g.
They are not truly folders and do not exist for external WebDav or DIS.
Custom code may be needed if you want to generate reports of more complex kind than are provided as default.
2. I am not a WCM expert but I think all of what you specify is possible as you ask. But again I am not WCM expert. As I remember it from 6 and 7.x Site Studio you can create multiple websites and link them into each other dynamically and even display the same content in the different look and feel context of a different site. Site studio is simply pulling fragments and content dynamically from the CS behind it. And different sites can call the same content in different ways. Your code in the webpages should be able to determine if and when you display things in your micro sites. That is not a standard Term in WCM as I understand it (microsite) but the concept works.
3. I may not understand the question, but my assumption of what you want is:
Site studio websites can use many types of content (text, html, worddocs, openoffice docs,code fragments, multi media) all checked in individually, to build up one page for display.

Check in System Preferences>Universal Access>Seeing and see if Zoom is on. If you have toddlers or cats this can accidentally turned on by hitting a group of keys that include Option + Command + 8.
To prevent this being accidentally activated in the future go to SystemPreferences>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts>Universal Access and uncheck all the boxes.

Display size query, + quality loss from iMovie originals

Learning to work the iDVD process, but what is the word on a foolproof sizing method, such that the thing will display OK on any TV? I don't see any way to restrict display size in iMovie, and what good is the TV Safe check, if you can't control the display size?? Also is quality loss inevitable? I'm compiling the DVD from separate files, less than 1 gb ea. I used "full quality" Quicktime compressed versions from the original iMovie file (which look fine in QT); then pulled those back in to iMovie, then shared to iDVD. One of the files looks fine encoded, but the other has weird sizzling-oil standing wave artifacts, even on still scenes from jpegs. Looking for help/comment/expressions of sympathy

Quality of the DVD-disc depends on several things.
• Highes Quality isn't Top - better is Best Performances (up to 60 min movie)
confused naming - in iDVD'08 there is Pro Quality AND I like it.
• Media brand - I use Verbatim
• Type: DVD-R my choise no DVD+R or +/-RW
• I save a Disc-Image and burn this at an as SLOW speed as possibly (eg x1) with Toast™
(Disc Util tool can also do this)
• I DON'T USE the function Share/Export to iDVD from within iMovie - IT IS DESTRUCTIVE !!
Just drop the movie project icon (with a Star on it) into iDVD theme window - then iDVD do the
rendering and so much better. Especially if there is photos in the movie.
• Free space on internal (start-up) hard disc - should be about 25Gb when all material is imported
and structured. This for iDVD to work with - iDVD can't use an extern hard disc as scratch.
(less than 5Gb - result is most probably of no use at all)
This is what come's first to my mind.

go to settings, general usage. wait a while, and the list of apps (with their associated space usage) will appear. If you have that many apps, it will take a while to get that list to appear, so - go get a cup of coffee. find the app and tap it. You will have the opportunity to delete it there.
If it is not real big app, you may need to tap 'show all apps' at the bottom of the list presented. I think the initial list is the top 10 based on app size.

No virtual desktops in Win10 (please fix)?: Dangerous game promoting app switching on different displays as virtual desktops

Seems virtual desktops are overpromoted - and in fact not about virtual desktops (changing content on the desktops). The socalled virtual desktops are right now
no more than app switching on different displays.
Dangerous game again from Microsoft promoting things as something they are not.
Virtual desktops are already a well-defined concept - and people will expect the desktop to be able to change content (be dynamic) ... the data and launching programs for documents, different backgrounds.
... but as others may already have stated in other threads: (Right now) Windows 10 does not contain virtual desktops/displays/screens. Not at all.
A skeptical hypothesis - hopefully it is not so, and we will be able to work with data in a valuable way. The data is on the desktop anyway today - so why not make it real virtual desktops? I simply do not understand the decision.
So here comes the skeptical hypothesis - it's not a Steve thing. It's Microsoft still looking for that next revamped business model to finance their future.
So the freak kind of virtual desktops (virtual desktops in Win10 a lie?) will disappoint - have already begun to do so - and seems Microsoft is just taken up with inserting an additional intermediary step towards relaunching the appstore and hiding
all the user data in cloud again. Really, hiding the difference between data availability - not making the cloud something MORE but making the local system something LESS. The NEXT BIG thing? So we're going to loose file system, folders and the general ability

We need to able to pin the data onto the display whether desktop, start screen, what ever. It's also on the feature requests. Desktops/Start Screen/Original displays for workflows/whatever actual starting points on login ... needs to have
more links than application from appstores and application containers linked to them.
If any more app (read: not cloud, data) but appstore, appstore, appstore
application containers hiding the data away comes into the UI I am going with Linux. I am that close ...

A better name would be Virtual Display Layouts ... Virtual Screens ... Virtual Start Screens (please let us be able to pin files/folders to the Start Screen, a requested voted for feature for Windows 10).
You see, go back and read the topics for Windows 8 ... you will learn the Start Screen is/was the new desktop - and should have been made virtual.
So please get your act together and stop confusing everything ... and make on coherent system. Drop the Start Screen - and go with the virtual desktop
(put the Start Screen technology into the virtual desktop - and let users pin folders and files there as requested ... both local and in the cloud)

Windows 8.1 forgets dpi / display size settings for one monitor on almost every reboot

I use TV 32" with 1920x1080 and cintiq 13" with 1920x1080
when I boot my PC the resolution is fine but DPI is wrong.
In smaller monitor It's look like DPI is higher than the bigger one.
I already set dpi to be the same (smallest 100%) but it's not work until I do something to change display setting.
It's really annoy me. This problem is not happen when I use windows 8
Only solution I found is turn off
"Turn on fast start-up".
When I do that It's boot like what I want. every monitor is the same DPI.
But it'll make my boot time longer.
It should be just start up windows and use the same dpi from the start.
So I think this problem is a bug in windows 8.1

I've already used the latest graphic card driver. But It's won't help this issue.
In registry editor. I check those variables then value of them is already set like that blog suggest.
So , it look like when windows start-up(with fast start-up) It use something like
suggest value for different monitor size instead of what I set in control panel. But when I turn off fast start-up windows use my setting value.
And I think there are a lot of people who got the same problem as me.

Hi have report showing sales by Vendor. I need to list all the vendors with Monthly Total>5000 and combine the rest as "OTHER VENDORS"
Vendor is a Group in my report, so I tried to put an expression as a Group on:
=IIF(Sum(Fields!Mth_1_Sales.Value)>5000,Fields!Vendor_No.Value,"OTHER VENDORS")
I've got an error: "aggregate functions cannot be used in group expressions"
How do I get Vendors with Sales < 5000 into "OTHER VENDORS" ?

And you can use the same expression in the report column as
