App Store Youtube App

hallo

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

Try signing out of your account and then sign back in and see if that helps.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try again.

App store says app installed and won't allow update to latest version.  My Mac has Iworks from a disc but I can't seem to update to the latest version of Number, Keynote or pages in the App store.  The app store identifies the applications as installed but doesn't update them since they were installed from Iworks disc.

all the ICloud numbers spreadsheet pages are now gone.  How do I get them back?
Do you mean you were storing the documents in iCloud and now you can't see them from Numbers? If so, you probably need to check to see that iCloud is configured to work with Numbers.
Here in System Preferences > iCloud make sure 'Documents and Data' is checked:
And, after clicking 'Options...', make sure that 'Numbers.app' is checked.
You should be able to see the documents in iCloud when you go up to the title bar at the top of the screen and choose 'iCloud' in the 'Where:' dropdown:

Tried out some apps, then deleted them. They still show in App Store/iPad Apps/Purchased section. How to delete from there?

You can't currently permanently delete any items from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them so that they don't appear on the Purchased tab : hiding and unhiding. As your iPad is on iOS 6 then you will need to do the hiding via your computer's iTunes, it doesn't currently work directly on iOS 6 devices

Everytime I open app store, Podcast app pops up.  Once it pops up I have no choice but to open Podcasts which takes me away from the store.  It won't let me click around the window to get into the store and ignore the pop up.   I'm new to apple, so have patience. . .
I want to get into the apps store but since I loaded podcasts I can't, what is going on?

Every time you launch the app, or every time you try to do something with the app? I was surprised to see that the phone would not cache the password between successive runs, but admittedly the phone is a lot easier to steal/lose than the desktop you're running iTunes on. I can browse without the p/w, it's only when I try to buy something (even a free item) that it asks.
My phone w/ 2.2.1, with 3.0, with 3.0.1, and now with 3.1 has always asked.
Also I do not get receipts anymore, I checked my email on my iTunes account and it's correct?
Can't answer this one. I always get receipts. I wonder about the $0 ones when I download a free app, but at least they're e-receipts, not printed paper ones.

  • The apps ned to be upgraded but when clicking on upgrade in App store all apps are on wait

The apps need to be upgraded but when clicking on upgrade in App Store all apps are blocked on wait. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Are you on WiFi or cellular? I believe there is an option to only download apps when connected to WiFi. This might be enabled on your device.

    Hi Doomtrooper,
When you updated your iPhone 4S and iPad3 to iOS6, what exactly do you mean when you can't access the iTunes store? Have you checked your connection to the network?
Please be a little more specific

  • How Do I cancel an App Store in-app purchase subscription? I have followed the standard instructions.

I want to cancel a subscription. I follow the standard instructions to go to App Store --> Featured-->Scroll to Bottom-->Tap my Apple ID or sign-in.
The problem is my Apple ID is shown, but it is greyed out. So, when I tap it nothing happens.
I am on an I-Pad. I appreciate any and all help.

Do you currently have Settings > General > Restrictions > Accounts (under the 'allow changes' heading) set to 'Don't Allow Changes' - if you do then change it to 'Allow Changes' and your id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store should no longer be greyed out

  • Mac App Store updating apps on _other_ drive :-(

A little background first - wanted to not just jump right in in upgrading to Mountain Lion (10.8.0), so I got (same brand) external USB HD, formatted it, installed Mountain Lion on that. (With some assistance from Apple Support...) I have moved most all my apps and documents over to the (external) ML drive (500GB). Also have many apps bought through MAS and installed on the ML-500 external drive. When I want to use ML, I boot up from it; other times, I will boot up with Snow Leopard (10.6.8) on the internal drive (320GB) to use a few apps where I haven't had all their docs transmogrified to 10.8-compatible apps. Most of the time now, things have been workable and fine.
In the past couple of days, I have discovered that apparently when I had logged into the MAS to update my ML-compatible apps, the MAS (unbeknown to me) updated the older (10.6.8-compatible) apps I had there, including iWork '08 (which had been updated as far as 10.6.8 updates would take them).
So now, it appears (since version numbers are the same for the Numbers, Pages and Keynote apps between the two OS drives) that I have (non-10.6.8-compatible) apps on the Snow Leopard (internal) drive, that won't run when I start up with 10.6.8. The icons on the 10.6.8 drive for Numbers, Pages, and Keynote (which were inside an iWork '08 folder, inside the Applications folder, on the internal/10.6.8 drive) have the 'not' circle and line across them when I view them running from the Mac OS X 10.6.8 (internal) drive. Haven't checked other MAS-downloaded 10.6-compatible purchased apps, so there may be more 'over-updated' apps...
I know that I have my original iWork '08 DVD (and likely, can go back through my Time Machine backups to try to find my latest versions under 10.6.8) and can re-install (and then install all the updates since then under 10.6.8) to get them back, but I would think  - since OS X install discs check a drive for the system version number before installing - that MAS would be setup to FIRST check what the OS X version for a drive with Pages/Numbers/Keynote/other Apple non-system apps, before installing a version over an app (that renders it useless for that version of OS X).
Even though I can possibly (with much time/updates/re-installs) get my earlier apps back on the internal drive, my concern is - how can I stop MAS from once again 'over-updating' those apps? If the MAS can check and tell me that an app I want to download requires 10.7 or 10.8, it would seem to make equal sense for it to check first whether I have (on different drives) 10.6.8 and 10.8 versions of the same app, and ONLY update the most recent one, NOT all of them.
Makes me wonder if Apple thinks that NO ONE out here is running separate partitions or drives with different operating systems for different app needs. I am very sure that there are specfic-market applications out there that companies, laboratories and others need to get tasks done (and for which there is not yet so far a Lion or Mountain Lion-compatible version), so those people/companies/etc. are likely running different OS partitions or startup drives. So WHY does the MAS not check first? Or more importantly, is there some way to stop/limit the updates so ONLY one drive gets updated?

Hello Dahveed, thank you for your answer but this is not good at all. These are not core applications. For instance i want all my games to be on external Hard drive (for instance X3 is about 8 Gb). For having my home folder on external HD this is not good at all too.
Why i should change my way to work and manage my files just for a logical problem ?
Furthermore, the Mac App Store app detects i have the application already installed even if it is on external HD, so there are only 2 solutions : there is a bug into the mac app store application for managing apps OR this is pretty bad for users to have the apps sequestrated into the home folder.
You can see even iTunes with the music rights management system is able to let you have musics managed by user.
Do you have another solution ?
    Thank you

  • App Store and apps can't verify account on Mavericks

    MacBook Pro (13 mid 2012), 2.5ghz Intel i5, 8GB, OS X Yosemite 10.10.1
I can not open any purchased apps or log on to the app store on my macbook only. I am able to log into iTunes just fine. And am able to use my account for the app store on my iPhone. When I try to use the App Store it tells me that my device needs to be verify. But it refuses to accept the password that I enter. I have tried to turn off wi-fi to test that and I have also restarted a couple times. Any help is appreciated.

called apple. they helped me solve the problem. We dumped the plist and it was fixed.

  • App shows in Updates tab in App Store, but app page reports installed

I've only noticed this since iOS 5, so I'm going to assume there
is a bug around here somewhere. First noticed it when using the
    Store button from news stand.
So the problem is. I load up app store, tap the Updates button
in the tab bar. Up comes app xyz, with an update. In the
tableview it reports version 5.2 (which is what is reported when
looking in the iTunes store). I tap on the item, it brings me to
the app page with a button titled "installed".
While on the app page I notice the version number here also
reports 5.2; however, if I tap the back button, I return to the
tableview with the app that needs updating but doesn't. Now
that I've returned here, the version number for this update is
    being presented as 5.3..
I tap on the item once again, and within the app page again
    it reports 5.2...
The last time I had an issue with the app store I simply
terminated the app by clearing it from the list down at the
bottom of apps that have been put into the background and
then running the app store app once again.
And from there I get identical results.
I'm assuming this is a bug, considering I have do not recall
encountering this before upgrading to iOS 5.

    Welcome to the discussions,
did you try to restore your phone and set it up "as new iphone" without using the backup? Your backup may contain corrupt files causing your problem.

  • App store and apps problem when migrated

I am going to ask this here because Apple support has not been able to fix this.
    Old computer = iMac core 2 duo 2.4GHz 10.6.7
OK so I just bought a new iMac quad core i7 2.93GHz (2010 model on closeout) and from the start I selected to migrate from a time machine backup. Took a long time but worked (well execpt for this problem).
So one thing I noticed after the backup was that there was no app store program installed. I then noticed the OS that was on the machine was 10.6.4 (pre app store). So I did the upgrade and and it's now at 10.6.8.
Problem is the apps won't load (click and nothing happens, click on ones in dock and it bounces once then nothing). So I load up the app store and log in, seems to take my login OK but won't let me do anything like make a purchase or do an update to an older app. It tells me they were purchased with a different account when I try to update and tells me I don't have a valid account when I try to purchase.
Well it's a good account and I went back to the old computer signed out and back in with the 'exact' same info and it works fine on that computer, even did the update to the program that was older"
Called Apple support, ran me through a dozen things (I could tell he was running out of ideas) and he finally said it must be a problem with your account (I seriously doubt it as I use the same account on the old computer, a laptop and 2 'i' devices with no issue).
I think it has something to do with the fact that the migration happened when the OS was older than the app store.
Not sure what to do but I would like to be able to use the apps I purchased and be able to purchase more in the future.
    Any ideas?

Well looks like the fix was to download the stand alone 10.6.8 updater and re update the OS.
