Apparently Flash Player is installed on my Windows 7 64-bit computer. Or at least the Adobe identifier says it is. Only Shockwave Flash is listed in the browser tools and it is enabled. When the popup comes up stating that this website wants to run Flash

I never had trouble in the 20 years or so I have been updating Flash Player. I have followed all the troubleshooting steps with no luck. Even uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Player and Shockwave Flash 3 times.

Sorry. Internet Explorer 11
Installed from Adobe.com

  • This website wants to run the Following add-on: 'Adobe Flash Player'...

Alright, So i'm getting this information bar to pop up everytime i enter a new site that has adobe content.
This website wants to run the Following add-on: 'Adobe Flash Player' from 'Adobe System Incorporation'. If you trust the website and the following add-on and want to allow it to run, Click Here...
Here's an example picture on cartoonnetwork.com
Now, If i hit allow it will allow it but it pops up on almost every new website i go to and i have to allow it each and everytime.
Yet my Adobe version is 10,0,32,18 as shown in the picture below.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled overwritten and uninstalled Internet Explorer 8 with no luck of getting rid of this annoying problem. So if anyone has a slight idea of how to fix this problem i'll try anything because i hate it when something isn't working correctly. (Yes, I've googled around for a good 2 hours with no luck)

Alright guy's It always happens. Over 90% of the time it's just a matter of time before i fix my own problems. I solved my problem and now it works perfectly fine.
I'm gonna say how i fixed it so who ever finds this page on google can see how i did it. I uninstalled Adobe Flash Player using the uninstaller from adobe http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe after i did that i went to my system32 folder and delete my adobe folder which still had files left over in it (Deleted the whole macromed folder) C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
Note, You need to exit any browser you have up (IE,Firefox, ect) or else you will not be able to delete it and it'll say access denied. After deleting that i installed Adobe Flash Player with a .exe i downloaded from Adobe and it worked perfect! No more annoying message
Side note, I'm use XP so the marcomed folder might possible be somewhere else if you are useing Vista or Windows 7.

I have a macbook pro (late 2011) OS X Yosemite 10.10. I have 2 acct.’s set up in mailbox, Yahoo and Gmail, but it will not send. The message comes back stating that Yahoo cannot ‘send using the server’....I have manipulated things around but to no avail. Both acct.’s receive, but will not send. Can someone provide some answers? Thanks.

    Hi whineyfromleessummit,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you're not able to send email from Yahoo or Gmail on your MacBook Pro.
There could be several causes of the behavior. I would start with the troubleshooting steps in the "Mail Connection Doctor shows one or more red dots in the account Status column" section of this article:
OS X Mail: Troubleshooting sending and receiving email messages
This article contains a variety of steps that can help resolve an issue like the one you're seeing.

Adobe R/W from CS6 installed on a Windows 7 64 bit computer keeps crashing

There isn't such a thing. If you are talking about the free Adobe Reader, you are at the right forum, but if your problem is with Adobe Acrobat Pro, you should post here:
    http://forums.adobe.com/community/acrobat
In any case, I suggest that you explain what "crashing" means in your case, including any error messages.

  • FireFox 4 and earlier versions will not install on my Windows Vista, 64 bit computer. The file downloads and the file extracts but I never make it to the installation wizard.

I have tried to download FireFox 4 and earlier versions from several different website, thinking the files might have gotten corrupted, and each time I download the file the exact same thing happens, the file downloads and the file gets extracted but when the extraction completes the small window dissappears and nothing else happens.
My machine is a Windows Vista 64 bit system and I've tried downloading the file with my 32 and 64 bit Internet Explorer but nothing seems to work. Can someone help me please because I would love to be able to completely delete I.E.

Hi, thanks for your Flash file info. Well you must have been doing it right, since all of your Flash files for IE and FF are correct.
The SWF plugin for FF and the SWO for IE are also correct.
You shouldn't be having any problems with Flash Player.
What you can try is to turn off the hardware acceleration feature. Go to any video, like youtube and right click on the video and click on Settings. Display Settings is where you will UN check hardware acceleration.
See if that helps. Let me know.
    Thanks,

  • Can PhotoShop Elements Version 1 be installed on a Windows 7 64-bit computer?

I have been running Photoshop Elements Version 1 on a Windows XP machine.  I have a new Acer desktop pc running Windows 7 64-bit.  I am trying to install this old PhotoShop Elements V1 program from the original installation CD and as soon as I select "US English" and click "Next" I get a brief hourglass as if it is proceeding with the installation, but nothing happens and no message about failure comes back ... it is just as if I never put in the CD.   Is this ancient version of PE even compatible?

Its very old version of PSE, Its not compatible with Win 7.

  • There are probably hundreds of people asking this same question, but how do I get iTunes to install on my Windows 8 64-bit computer?

I've tried re-installing, fixing the compatibility, running it as an administrator, and restarting my computer, among other things, and it just won't work! All I get is the, "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher", message. The installer says iTunes64Setup. Help?

    I see there's no answer.

  • When opening a PDF in IE 10 with Enhanced Protection Mode it displays "This website wants to run acropdf.dll"

I am running my application which requires JRE on Internet Explorer 10. Since the IE need to run in 64 bit mode, we have enabled the "Enhanced Protection Mode" in Security option of Internet Options in Advanced tab. But my application also opens
up PDF in the browser, when the page with PDF is invoked it displays "The webpage wants to run 'AcroPDF.dll'. If you trust this site, you can disable Enhanced Protection Mode for this site to run the control.(Disable)(Always Ignore)".  And on
clicking any option the PDF is not displayed.
We would not be able to disable the  Enhanced Protection Mode as the 64 Bit JRE would not be invoked for other part of the application.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

    ... and/or
Configure Adobe Reader to not use a Web Browser to open PDF documents... (see the Adobe.com for admx files to apply this setting by group policy) (
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/392489 )
Start>Adobe Reader>Edit>Preferences>Internet>uncheck "Display PDF in browser"
It seems that Adobe have recently changed the location of that setting in Adobe Reader (at least on 11.0.4).  They've now hidden it under Edit > Accessibility > Setup Assistant > Then on page 5 of 5, there's a tick box to toggle 'Display PDF
    documents in the Web Browser'.
However, it doesn't work like it used to though, as it won't just open a PDF in Adobe Reader instead of the browser.  It will instead ask to disable Enhanced Protected Mode to run acroPDF.dll.
And if you try disabling the Adobe PDF reader add-on in Manage Add-ons to try and force it to open in Reader, then when you visit a PDF link, you just get the same blank page (shown below) with the black crossed out circle in the top left, but without the
message bar at the bottom of the window.  The only way to open the PDF is to either turn off Enhanced Protected Mode and allow acroPDF.dll to run or if there's an original link to the PDF, right click and select 'save-as'.
I think it's about time Adobe released an x64 PDF viewer...  Or at least there should be an open/save dialogue box in IE.
If you've got Reader 11.0.4 installed, you can try it for yourself with this PDF link:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/adobe_reader_reference.pdf
(The below screenshot is with 'Display PDF documents in the Web Browser' UN-ticked in Adobe Reader settings, so it should open in Reader instead.  But it doesn't.  And with the Reader add-on disabled you get the same page, but without the
    message at the bottom.)

  • How can I get 11.7 flash player to install on my windows 7, 64 bit, fox fire system?

I have uninstallled and deleted files as I read in the FAQ section and flash player still won't work.  The games says that flash player must be installed.  I have a blank box when I check in the "do you have flash player?" adobe page.

Just wanted to pop in and say, good job galhe! There is a wealth of information in this forum. One of the easiest ways is to use the search forums. Nice to see. By the way, that is the first thing to check, if it is not there, FP will not work, then it
is back to square one. Don't forget Java, youtube and other sites want the latest Java( which is JRE 6 update 18 as of yesterday) just like they ask for the latest Flash Player version. Just a FYI.

  • Error on Creative Cloud Windows 7 64-bit computer

We have Creative Cloud installed on a Windows 7 64-bit computer.  When we try to use Media Encoder we get an error message "The program Can't start because MSVCP110.dll is missing from your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."  We have to continually reinstall Adobe CC.  What needs to be done to fix this so we don't need to continually reinstall CC?

I received a response to download Visual C++ but I've tried that before and we still have to reinstall Creative Cloud.  Any suggestions?

  • When I sync my iphone I get a popup that says 'ABAssistantService quit unexpectedly'. I can 'ignore', 'Report' or 'Reopen'. The popup comes right back after a few seconds no matter which option I choose. The only way to make it stop is to reboot the compu

iTunes places the .ipsw file here:
    OSX:
    ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates
    XP:
    C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
    7 &Vista:
    C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
Find and delete any and all .ipsw files on your computer. There should only be one, but delete all that you find. Next, disable ALL firewalls & security software on your computer. Connect your phone, iTunes running & restore from backup. Follow this by syncing your content back to your phone.
This will force iTunes to re-download the .ipsw file, as I suspect yours is corrupt.

Boot Camp doesn't install the drivers. You have the drivers on a separate USB device if you followed directions. Once in Windows connect the USB drive with the driver software. It should startup automatically and install the drivers.
You don't even need to do that. As downloading the drivers from within Boot Camp Assistant can be unreliable, it is better to get the package directly from here:

Copy the .zip file to a USB flash drive or burn it to a DVD in OS X. Install Windows as normal, insert the flash drive/DVD in Windows, copy the .zip file to the hard drive, extract it, then run the setup executable.
