Apple mail won't let me change font size in composing since upgrade to Lion

I go to "select" and it shows me the other sizes. I select 14, and it does not change it to 14, it stays at Helvetica 12. This only started with upgrade to Lion. I am using 10.7.1. Any answers?

Apple ID won't let me change my login

It won't let me change my email because it says it's my rescue email (it's not) and I've changed my rescue email twice and verified it twice, when i type it in it says it's fine but when i hit save it says it's my rescue email and i can't contact customer support either because it's all done by phone and I'm non-verbal.

Normally, you would disconnect from icloud and log back in ..
Go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account. Then log in using a different ID.
However, if you have turned on Find My iPhone, then in order to disconnect from icloud, you must enter your original password (this is part of iOS 7's new security features that prevent thieves from redefining connections on the devices). You must now change the new password back to the old one then disconnect from icloud. Then you can change the password to a new one.

Writing app that lets you change font size?

Is there app for writing that lets user to change font size? Something similar to Windows notepad would be enough. The whole screen should be used for text (I'm using wireless keyboard).
Asked this about a year ago but there was nothing. Is this still impossible to do with iPad?

FioWriter works ok, but the text is only in the center of the screen so there's about 4cm of unused space on both sides of the screen. The app should display the text full screen.

But it costs a lot so I'm not looking to get that at first if there's free apps available that do the same.

Can see different brush size options but it won't let me change the size

When I'm in Flash CC 2014, I go to the tools menu, then the brush size option, and I can see all of the various brush sizes. I am able to click any size, but when I go to draw, it keeps defaulting to the same size over and over. I'm completely unable to change the brush size. Any ideas?

i am using a wacom bamboo fun cte-650 as my tablet
the pressure sensetivity is disabled, and the tilt option is disabled as well.
i am running flash CC 2014 = Version 14.0 - Released June 2014
and we have tried this with just the mousepad, and the tablet, neither seem to let us change brush sizes

Apple store won't let me change my country in account settings

so lately I just moved from usa to Thailand and my some of my apps wont be updated bcuz they're having some kind of contact or whatever
and I really want to to update the so I did edited my acount settings and it wont let me change my country..
bcuz i have some balances left in my account which is like 0.78$
what the **** am I gonna purchase for that.....

I went into settings, then clicked in itunes&app store, then logged into my Apple ID and clicked on country/region and when I click the button to change it in there nothing happens

Apple Mail Won't Let Me See My Responses to Emails

If someone could help me with my problem that would be great!?
I recently have had Apple Mail problems where when I select the arrow(response) image to my emails to view the entire converstation it only shows me the person's response. I know that I should be able to see my replies as well as the other person's entire conversation. I can however view my sent messages without a problem.
What am I misisng?

It turns out there are several related threads like this one discussing the problem.
First, I attempted to reindex mail using the instructions here:

after deleting the "envelope" files and restarting mail you get a message as you did when you first used mail after upgrading to OS 10.8. Click OK and allow the re-import of all your old mail.
I have 65,000 emails on my mac, so this took a while, about 35 minutes.
Bad news: It didn't make any difference. double clicking the "see reply" icon still did not work.
So... I looked around some more and found this:

THERE IS A FIX!
It is a bizar bug it seems and it was answered above.
Go to mail - preferences
select the account and account information
go to outgoing mail server and edit list (It does not matter if it looks correct)
Edit the list and enter the details again. Make sure the newly entered one is the one selected.
And then it now works!
Phew this was driving me mad.
Surely the solution can't be that simple?
I gave it a try, and guess what... it appeared to work. Double clicking on the curly arrow now calls up the reply in a new window as it should.

Adobe won't let me change print size

I have tried changing the print size from 8X14 to standard letter, but adobe isn't allowing me to change the size.

In the print menu under page sizing and handling, do you have Choose paper sourse by PDF page size chosen?

After upgrading from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion, the text in my nav bar and inside browsers (generally all around) seem to be smaller and possibly different (thinner) to what they were before.
I would like to revert back to their previous appearance, but after reading various threads and playing around, nothing seems to work. I'm not sure if the font has been changed, the size adjusted, or the screen/display resolution changed.
I tried suggestions like clearing font cache with Onyx and testing different Display resolutions, but didn't manage to get it back to how it was before the OS upgrade.
Appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction please. TIA.

Could you post a screenshot showing your main menu bar and the Finder sidebar, please? This way we could compare the fonts used.
For me the system fonts look like this in Mt. Lion on a 17" MBP with the "Display" System Preferences set to "Best for Built-in Display":
I have the Finder's View option set to use 16pt fonts, but other than that is there no way to change the the fonts used without changing the Display resolution.
One more option you may want to check are the "Contrast" settings in the "Accessibilty" System Preferences. If you set the contrast to a very high value will the text appear to be very thin and hard to read.

The alternate email I had was ********** but the link for resetting the security questions made it **********, which ain't a real email address and I can't make it one either Halp...

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove the email addresses from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).
You won't be able to change your rescue email address (an alternate email address is different) until you can answer your questions, you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset : Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security
When they've been reset you can then use the steps on this page to change your rescue email address for potential future use : Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses
Or, if it's available in your country, you could change to 2-step verification : Frequently asked questions about two-step verification for Apple ID

With iCloud on the phone, you will need to remove the account, then add it back in with the new address. It is a bit awkward, but the only way to change the AppleID for the iCloud account login is to delete the account then add it back with the new credentials. You won't loose anything as the iCloud account is still the same one, you just need to re-associate the AppleID credentials for it on the iPhone.

Mail won't let me change Full Name

Just updated to Mtn Lion and made the full migration from MobileMe to iCloud. In the process, the "full name" on some of my Mail accts changed. Tried to change them in Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Account Information, but the Full Name field is grey and won't allow me to change it. Any insight on how to change my Full Name (which is my sender name) for this email acct is apreciated. (Is it linked to my AppleID?)

Hi BD Aqua, yeah it's okay just a false alarm, i changed my internet service provider to BE broadband a few days ago and they didn't tell me that i had to change the outgoing mail server smtp settings in order for emails to go out, something to do with dynamic ip address, and how they block port 25 for dynamic users? or something. anyway, entered the new settings and all seems tickity boo now.

My Apple Mail won't let me trash Junk mail.

Junk mail keeps coming back. I erase, it keeps returning. Junk mail is overflowing; any suggestions?

Skype 2014 change font size ... once again

I have used skype for a year now with usually little problem. I have changed font size many time in the past sucessufully with ......Tools ....... options ............IMS ......... Change FontNow I fail to change font size ... since I can no longer see the option........ Change Font ........ gone or not visibleWindows 7 ... Skype 6.16 ..............................................Perhaps related ... the scrolling is defective in Skype ....... Skype abducts me to the top of message all the time. And the UI rendering look slightly defective as well

The change font option is still available in Skype 6.16 version. Tools -> Options -> IM & SMS -> IM appearance. If your Skype version is 6.16.64.105, then be aware that this special version has redesigned chat window interface.
