Can't open raw images in Photoshop Elements 9

I've just finished doing a fresh install of Windows 7 x64 SP1 onto my desktop PC. I installed Photoshop Elements 9 but it can't open any raw images (specifically Canon .CR2). When I open one of the same images with Photoshop CS5.1, it properly opens up the image in Camera Raw (6.6), allows me to pre-process the image, then edits it in Photoshop (as you would expect).
Before installing Photoshop, I did manually install Adobe Camera Raw 6.2, then upgrade it (multiple steps) up to the current v6.6.
I also copied the Camera Raw.8bi into the Plug-Ins\File Formats sub-directory of both C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 9 Organizer and C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 9 but there was no change of behavior with Photoshop Elements 9.
This was working prior to the re-install of Windows 7.
Any suggestions on how to get this working? Thank you, in advance.

When I to to Help>Update, it offers to update Photoshop Elements to v9.0.3 but no mention is made of Camera Raw (any version). I'm not even sure how to determine what version it thinks is installed since there's no reference to Adobe Camera Raw in the Windows 7 Programs and Feature Control Panel applet.
Suggestions?

Applet navigator to open a page in another frame.

Hello to the Java gurus out there,
I was wondering if someone could give me a pointer as to how I can get an applet navigator to open a page in another frame of the web browser?
Say for example, I have two frames in the main HTML page where one frame contains an Applet navigator, and the other page can be loaded based on where the user clicks on the applet navigator.
Capturing the mouse click event is all good, but then how do I load a page in another frame ??
Any help would be much appreciated.

How can I open iTunes after recent update 01/25/2014

After installing the recent update for iTunes, I can't open iTunes. Tried to uninstall/reinstais missing, with same results. I have received several error messages: MSVCR80.dill is missing. Please re-install, error 7 Windows error (126).
When will this corrupted download be fixed? I can't access iTunes at all.

Do the following:
Uninstall from Windows the following four programs: iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour and Apple Application Support. You do this from an applet in Control Panel called Programs & Features (in Windows 8, 7, or Vista) or Add or Remove Programs (in Windows XP).
Download the latest version of iTunes from Apple and note the location you're saving it to so you can find it once it's done.
Run the iTunes installation as an administrator, just Right click iTunes installer and Run as Administrator.

Java Code file 1 meg... Can't open it

I've just started using SJSE and have run into a couple of issues. First problem is that I can't open my java source file. Second issue is I can't get the ide to run my applet. It just displays a small box and that's it. Everything worked great in V7. Below is the output with respect to the opening of the source file.

Yes it only happens with large files. I have set the following in the jstudio.conf file.

Upgrading to Java 7 u45, and my applet can not be openend

After upgrading to u45, I can not open an applet from HTML page, even on the simplest scenario (described below)
The applet is signed, and the whole scenario used to be working well on u40.
Trying to open this HTML with u45 results with InvocationTargetException run time exception.
Why does this happen? Does anyone knows how to bypass this?
I'm so frustrated. The last few java upgrades required huge amount of work on my behalf. They are so not backward compatible its unbelievable.

Well, in fact you can in a special case :
- The file you want to access is in the same directory than the applet (or in a sub-directory)
If this condition is OK, you can open the file using :
java.io.InputStream MyInputStream = <YourAppletClassName>.class.getResourceAsStream("sidira_interactif2.svg")
With this stream, its easy to read the file content.

Can't open input server

So I'm tying to run a simple applet on OS X from eclipse and i get this message in the console:

You can keep opened a socket to the server. You can send any data from/to the applet in that way.

Help with applet page not opening please

Hi I hope somebody can help. I downloaded the Java Plug in 1.4.2_05 but the applet for my offshore bank account applet will not open - just a blank grey page appears.
I went to the test applet page and the following note came up. "You are using an older version of Java Technology 1.1.4"
I can see the dancing Duke logo.
I followed the instructions to download the latest version again and up pops a window saying that we have the latest version. I went through the FAQ page - also checked all the setting were correct. I have the coffee cup Logo. I can see the plugin control panel, also the Java website control panel. The draw4 and note pad applications open up.
I need to know why the banking applet will not load.
We are running Windows Explorer 6

Hi there,
Your IE is using hte Microsoft IE JVM plugin, you'll need to install Sun's plugin for IE. Installing the JDK/JRE fresh usually gives you an option of what browsers to install the plugin to.

Can not open, view inbox in godaddy web mail

I have been using godaddy webmail for awhile - one day I tried to view my emails and I could not. I can't open them or reply to them or even highlight "inbox". I have avg - they disabled the firewall and viris protection but the problem prosisted. I called godaddy, the ran a check of their system and said it's working properly and it was a problem with my browser. I am able to compose and send emails if I type in a address.

That worked fine in Firefox after Comcast instituted that Xfinity interface last spring, then they fixed something else and broke that for some Firefox users. Connect Lite still works fine.
Using IE, once you're in the full email page open Preferences -> General in the Xfinity menu header and select Xfinity Connect Lite. Then try it in Firefox.
Or, click on the first new email on the preview page, and when you're done with it click on the Inbox link in the Nav Menu in the left column to get your complete Inbox.

No, only regular static GIF images are supported. The desktop version of Photoshop does support this however.

It appears that you are launching the old version, probably using an icon in your Dock. That icon is an alias & is not updated. You will need to go to your Applications folder & find the new Pages 5 icon & double-click it. Once it is launched, you can right-click on the icon & choose Options > keep in Dock from the contextual menu.
