Application logs out unexpectedly

I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0. The problem I am facing is the application gets logged out unexpectedly at times forcing the user to re-login. When I looked into log file (server.log), I could see this:

Hi,
it is more likely that you lost the user session. The exception appears to be caused by this

  • Logging out Unexpectedly

Hello. I have an always-on, broadband connection, but this happens quite often:
I will come back from an extended abscense from my computer, and iChat will have logged off of AIM 'unexpectedly'. Is there some setting I'm missing that logs me out after extended inactivity? Has anyone else seen this problem and have any advice on fixing it? Thanks!

    Hi
My router (ethernet) will disconnect from the internet if I leave my computer for a short while. Try adjusting your System Preferences>Energy Saver settings to see if it helps but, to be honest, I think you'll find it quite normal for that to happen.
Just reactivate the computer & let it reconnect. I find iChat automatically reconnects or I just select Available from the drop down, I haven't actually, been logged off.

  • Not able to configure Act As in OBIEE 11g - The application is logging out

    Hi All,
We are trying to configure Act As in OBIEE 11g. The list of users gets populated when I click on Act As. However, when I select any user from the list, the applications logs out. The possible reason could be that OBIEE is not able to authenticate the user (We are using table based Authentication). Please give some pointers to fix it.
Also, I am curious to understand the authentication process in case of Act As. The list that gets populated is a list of target users from the table. In our case, the username and display name gets populated. But, how does OBIEE check if that is a valid user or not?
    Thanks in Anticipation,
    Karan

Does Act As functionality work with BI Publisher? I am able to login and select Act As and pick a user and view all dashboards, however when I click a PDF embedded in a dashboard page from Publisher, it says Unauthorized Access: please contact the administrator. If I am logged in as myself I can view the PDF. If I am logged in as the user I acting as I can view the pdf, but if I login as myself and act as that user and try and view it, that is when the error occurs, so am wondering is Act As is incompatible with BI Pub.

  • Not able to log out of application:JspServlet:unable to dispatch to request

We are developing our application on oracle ADF (jdev verison:10.1.3.2). and deploying it in the SOA server(version 10.1.3.1).
The problem with our application is that when the logout button is clicked the application gives the following error:
    500 Internal Server Error
Servlet error: An exception occurred. The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details.
When the application log is consulted it reads:

We have an application wherein a global navigation rule in faces-config is defined as

The file Login.jspx is present at

But somehow the deployed version tries to find it at
    C:\product \10.1.3.1\OracleAS_2\j2ee\home\applications\Buddy\ Buddy\common\skins\common\Login.jspx
I am not able to understand why the page is being searched in

Please help me out of this situation.

  • Is there a way to have applications run in the background after I log out?

New to Mavericks, have a new iMac after being on Leopard for years. After I log out, all the applications I had running stop and close. Is there a way to keep those running? It seems like logging out, and the applications stopping, would negate the ability to see any notifications on the lock screen. I have multiple users set up on this computer, is that the reason?

By definition, logging out means quitting all your processes. If you want to log in as a different user without logging out, see below.

  • Can administrator log out a user from application

    Hi
My application has functionality to display all the logged in users of the application. This screen ia available to only administrators of the application. Now can the administrator logout any of the logged in users from his own screen? If yes then how?
Could you please give me some pointers?
    Thanks & Regards
    Inder Jeet Singh

there are several ways an administrator can do that. but that depends on the way you manage your sessions.
how are you getting the list of logged users? if it is from the database based on some field in some table then you can give the functionality to administrator to set that value to the logged out status(or whatever you are using).
but that depends on the way your application is keeping trak of the logged users.

Blocked An Attempt To Log Out Of The Application Properly". How Do I FIX This

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

  • 1st-I was able to log into my account but was not able to open any applications, tried another account and same thing.  was able to log out and restart but now am unable to use mouse.  g5 dual core

1st-I was able to log into my account but was not able to open any applications, tried another account and same thing.  was able to log out and restart but now am unable to use mouse.  g5 dual core, can't remember the os without seeing it.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
Let us know how far you get, or results.

  • My firefox icon disappears into my applications folder each time I log out. Is it possible to keep the icon on the bottom of my screen? Thank you.

Hello, My Firefox icon disappears into my applications folder each time I log out. Is it possible to keep it at the bottom of my screen (it used to stay there)?

Does that mean you have to sign out of creative cloud on one machine and sign back in to creative cloud on the other machine to be able to use it?
No. You can be signed in to the Cloud (using the same Adobe ID) on two separate computers at the same time.
If you want to activate the Cloud on a 3rd machine then you need to sign out of one of the other computers.
Your issue on your home computer is unlikely to be related to signing in.

  • I get unexpectedly logged out from my mail box and and recieve the following message: "The custom error module does not recognize this error."

I am repeatedly and unexpectedly logged-out from my mail box when working on a document. It frequently happens when I choose Send or Save, but it could happen any time. The file that I worked on disappears completely. Before, the file could be found in the draft box or some other place categorized as Auto Recovery. Now, instead, I get the following message: "The custom error module does not recognize this error." I am working at home, connected to a university server. The same problem appears with both of my computers, which are connected by a router. I have a MacBook Pro and am working with Firefox 6.0.2. I have a wireless broadband connection with Internet. AirPort is connected to Lindstrom and has IP address 192.168.0.198. Router: D-Link Model DIR-635. Modem: ZyXEL Model No. 660H D Triple Play Modem.

    Hi Phil,
Generally, when a user sends an incoming request to an Exchange 2010 Client Access server using Outlook Web App and the user’s mailbox is on an Exchange 2010 mailbox in a different Active Directory site,
Exchange 2010 determines whether the Client Access server has the
ExternalURL property set in that Active Directory site. If it is and the cross-site silent redirection has been enabled, the user will be automatically redirected to the specified URL.
Thus, please make sure the External URL property is set properly in your environment. And also
disable the WindowsAuthentication for OWA VD to have a try. If the issue persists, please try the following KB to reset the Outlook Web Access-related virtual directories:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941201
    Thanks,

Sorry for the late reply.  Yes, the ExternalURL is set; otherwise, it wouldn't work at all.  98% of the time everything is fine.
My issue described a problem that appears only during session timeouts.  I've pretty much verified that this is the case; Exchange 2010 does not appropriately handle the timeouts sometimes when using cross-site redirection.

  • My dock would not appear. No change after a restart. After force quitting applications in order to log out all I have now is my account desktop picture and a cursur that moves okay but no icons.

My dock would not appear. Checked preferences, they seemed to be locked. No change after a restart. Tried logging out of account, had to force quit several applications. Now all I have is the account desktop picture and a cusur that works okay. nothing else is on the desktop now. How do I restore?

All I had to do was complain.  I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store.  I have no idea why.

  • Logging out of applications

Hello, I recently installed the LexiComp application for pharmacy school and logged in with the wrong email and can't find how to log out, does anyone know how to log out of applications in general?

There is no general method. It depends upon the developer.
Deleting the reinstalling the app might let you log in with the correct email address.
Otherwise go to/contact the app developer.

  • HTTP Status 403 after logging out of my JSF application

I have a JSF application that is using form based authentication (using a custom JSF control that creates a form with an action attribute equal to "j_security_check").
Everything seems to be working just fine except when Firefox browsers logout and then backup (using the browser's back button) and click on a link or button in my JSF application. Instead of just showing the logon page again it shows the following ugly page:
HTTP Status 403 - The request body was too large to be cached during the authentication process
    type Status report
message The request body was too large to be cached during the authentication process
description Access to the specified resource (The request body was too large to be cached during the authentication process) has been forbidden.
Apache Tomcat/6.0.14IE shows the logon page when you click the back button.
Is there some way that I can get Firefox to behave differently? Is there another way to handle authentication that would be better for a JSF application?
    Thank you!
    Dave

Thank you for pointing me to look closer at the server RaymondDeCampo.
I'm very new to Web development, Java, and JSF.
I watched the HTTP Monitor (in NetBeans) as I did the following steps with Firefox, Safari (PC version), and IE:
    1. Log on to my app
    2. Change to a page in my app
    3. Log out of my app
    4. Click the browser's back button
Firefox and Safari seemed to behave the same way. Clicking the back button displayed the previous page correctly, and NO new HTTP requests are added to the HTTP monitor. I assume these browsers are just loading the previous page from cached history or something? If I then click on a link or command button on the page, I get the HTTP Status 403 page in the browsers and once again NO new HTTP requests are added to the HTTP monitor. Is it possible for Tomcat to reply with the HTTP Status 403 page before the HTTP monitor even gets a chance to see the HTTP request? I'm pretty sure that Tomcat is producing the HTTP Status 403 page since the very last line on the page says "Tomcat 6.0.14."
IE on the other hand caused an HTTP GET to be posted to the HTTP monitor when the browser's back button was clicked. The GET is for the login page which then gets shown in IE.
Is there something else I should be looking at on the server side?
Is there a way to stop Firefox and Safari from using cached pages when the back button is clicked and force them to go to the server for the content again?
Thank you very much for any answers or advice that you can share!

  • Mac OSX lion 10.7.3 Logs me out unexpectedly ?

    Hello everyone,
I was going trough some photos I've been wanting to edit when all of a sudden I got logged out of my Profile? By my profile I mean the only account I have on
my Imac, It was weird. The first time I really didn't mind but the it just happen to me about 10 minutes ago for the second time? Just wondering if this has
happen to anyone or if anyone knows what this is about?
Hope this doesn't happen to anyone cause it could be a bit frustrating if you're in the middle of working on something.
    Thanks everyone.

I have never had this happen to me ever in any version of OS X. Perhaps you should consider the following:
Reinstalling Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.
