Application not appearing in Calculation Manager
Dear All,
I have created a new application on test environment, but it is not visible in Calculation Manager.
Checked the application process, its the same i use to create applications previously.
I have done the same for creating applications on multiple times with no issues. Any thoughts what can go wrong
Note: A few days back the Calculation Manager stopped responding when we try to open the calculation manager through workspace we raised an Sr, Oracle support suggested to re-deploy the
calculation manager configuration with database schema and increased the jvm xms size from Operating System Registry for calculation manager.

Deployed with Default Application Group, And For Rules its deployed with calculation manager,
we have done these all steps, but when we open calc manager to import business rules in new created application, it doesn't show us our new created application.
While Planning shows newly created application.

I have upgraded from EPM 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.2.2 and now want to import Business Rules to Calculation Manager for use with Essbase.
However I cannot see my Essbase Application in Calculation Manager; (only the provided sample applications are shown in the hierarchy)
How do I check my configuration? How does Calculation Manager connect to Essbase and find my app?
I haven't knowingly altered Essbase server/port details during the upgrade as I opted not to re-host.Yes the EAS schema was upgraded by the configurator.
I ran upgrade_ps2.sh (unix) without changing any configuration just to see what it does and (after I had to manually create the directory structure for the log file) it created an HBRrules.xml file successfully fo the first time under EPMData/planning (The missing log file directory structure may have been why the configurator didn't create the HBrrules.xml file at the first attempt during the Planning upgrade)
Anyway not entirely sure where upgrade_ps2.sh got its rules information but the file it created was very similar to the HBR file exported from EAS prior to starting the upgrade.
I attempted a 'migrate' again with Calculation Manager but still get the "No objects were found in the document for importing", i.e. kind of back to square one.
I really need to understand what is Calc Managers problem?
Q .What server should the upgrade_ps2.sh be run on? Planning or Shared Services? (I did it in on both)
Q. How can I get Calc Manager to tell me more with logging or tracing somehow?

Second Task Server not appearing in the Manager
I have set up a second Collection and Task Server (W2003 SP2) on a VM. The Collection Server is running fine.
The Task Server does not appear in the Manager displayer, after refreshes (F5) and rebooting both the Manager and the new Collection/Task Server.
Following some of the suggestions on this forum, he is my troubleshooting:
1. I have a local account "ZAMadmin" on both servers that is a local admin account with full rights to the Filestore
2. Only the TASKSERVER.exe is running; TASKSERVERCORE.exe is not
3. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the Task Server.
4. Port 7465 is NOT open when a TELNET 127.0.0.1 7465 (connect failed)

I entered a ticket with Novell Support $, and the issue revolved around installing the Collection Server, then installing the Task Server later on. I guess the "Component Install" isn't entirely true!
Here is the scenario for anyone else with this problem:
1. Second Collection Server installs and it grabs new DLLs for the Primary
2. Task Server installs but can't start because of DLL conflict
3. Reinstalling the Task Server does not overwrite the DLL, so the same problem
The fix is stupid and simple:
Install the Task Server to a new folder. Then it can install all of the DLLs including the shared programs

Planning application is not visible in calculation manager

I'm novice to EPMA.
I have successfully created and deployed an EPMA application,but when i'm unable to see the application(s) under planning node.
As per my knowledge EPMA application by default deployes in calculation manager,if so why the application is not visible.

The calculation manager service was set to automatic, set it back to manual and restarted calculation manager service.
It showed the application in calc manager.

Deployed Application Not appearing in Task Pane
I have deployed an application, have mapped all the required Roles to Participants...post successfull deployment, when i am loggin into BPM workspace,Application doesnt appear.However Application Roles are all getting displayed into Admin Console of BPM.

1. You mean to say, on left side you do not see a link for your application to initiate a task. Am I right ? If so, first check if you have some Users added to that first Initiator Role. If you deployed your app one time from JDev at that time only all the participants you add for that role will be stored in the db. Any later redeployments with more participants will not be reflected. This is part of design of bpm itself. So from BPM Workspace, login as admin. From Adminstrator link, add the users to that Role and see if that helps. If you added particpants in the JDeveloper IDE itself, they may not be reflected, even though you see them listed in admin console. So better delete existing participants or add some new participants and see if that works.
2. I hope the first user task, that submits the task has actions like Submit and it should be Initiator type user task. When you edit the user task and add a human task, at that time, select from drop down as Initiator with only one Action like Submit.
3. Restarting the server helps sometimes. But this may not be the root cause for your issue. Everytime you add a new participant to initiator role, we cannot expect to restart the soa servers. Add a new user from bpm admin console and thats all we need.

User Variable not recognized in Calculation Manager in V11.1.2
I am using user variables in a script using a calculation manager in V11.1.2
When I am using the user variable within a Fix statement I don't have any problems but when I am using it out of the Fix statement it does not work. I have already added the variables in the variable manager
The error I am getting is the member is not recognized (user variable). I am having problem with only one of the many variables.
Any suggestions on why I am getting this issue.

Ciscoworks: Device not appearing in Campus Manager
Hello,
I have added 3 new devices in CS and then create a group in RME then add the 3 devices in this group. Then I have run the credential check added devices in inventory and backup the configuration successfully.
Problem:
These devices are not appearing in the CM, In can see a new group but when I generate a User Tracking Report in Campus Manager, I am getting a popup saying "no end host found"
Device type are one 3750g-24ts switch and two 2611 routers.
I have restarted the services twice via net stop crmdmgtd; net start crmdmgtd, but no gain.
Please guide me that how I can make the devices appear in CM, there are many other devices already exist in CM. Also we only add devices manually, bot via discovery.

LMS: 3.2
CM: 5.2.1
RME: 4.3.1I have run the Data Collection in Campus Manager 3 times but still unable to see the 3 devices in campus manager.
Also it seems that CM is talking with CS as for trial I have deleted 1 switch from CS and it also get deleted in CM & RME

Msg_server.exe not appearing in SAP management console

First of all I want to tell you that I am new to BASIS activities. I am trying to learn installation and error handling.
I have installed R3 Enterprise 4.70x 2.00 SR1 on Win SQL Server and everything was successful. Now when I try to start SAP from console, msg_server.exe does not appear in the process list and dispatcher status is u201CRunning but message server unreachableu201D. Also in WP Tables, I can only see two DIA processes.
I can give you developer trace file dev_ms and dev_w0 for your reference if you need them.

Applications Not Appearing in Workspace (9.3.1)
Hello all,
We recently upgraded to system 9.3.1 and intermittently users are not seeing the applications when logging into Workspace.
Example: USER A logs in to Workspace, is able to perform all necessary duties by logging on to the application for days, sometimes weeks at a time. Suddenly, USER A logs in, and Workspace appears as if there are no applications registered at all. The next day USER A logs in and everything is back to normal.
Can anybody give me a clue as to where to look to find the source of this?
I have a sneaking suspicion it is because the applications were not properly de-registered from the previous version (System 9.3.0.1) which had completely different server names as the current system 9.3.1.
If that is the case, those references would be located in the tables in the main HFM database, but what, or should i even, modify/delete those references?

KellyThe error is only occurring on our HSS/Core Services box.
One of the log files for BIPLUS on the HSS box grows to 4GB, cuts off then starts creating another one of itself and does this AT LEAST once a day!

So in one of the log errors, it lists the user that is trying to connect. It is the SS admin I created during the installation, 'hypadmin'. This user of course does not have access to the BIPLUS db, which would cause these errors.
So I tried something, created a SQL user of the same name with the same password. Restarted services, and everything seemed to work fine, except this time when I tried to launch SS, it said a severe error had occurred, and to restart SS.
I restarted, same error. the horror consumes me...
so i went back into SQL, looked at the processes and lo and behold hypadmin was using one measely connection. I killed the process, killed the user ID in SQL, restarted all of my services and everything was golden again except, of course, the monstrosity that is the usageservice log file and the constant hangs while in the user management console.
does any of this ring a bell? how would a native directory user be configured to access the db??? -
I recently purchased my iPod touch with no issues. After updating to iOS 8.1.1 I found that my iPod would no longer appear in the latest version of iTunes and when I searched for Apple Mobile Device usb driver in the device manager, it was nowhere to be found. I've already uninstalled and re-installed ALL components of iTunes and read every single help article. I've tried everything. What went wrong?

U300s Trackpad does not appear in device manager
Recently I had an issue where I needed to reinstall windows. I downloaded a legitimate ISO and reinstalled it. When I went to reinstall all of the drivers, I had an issue with the TrackPad driver. I know it is a Cypress Touchpad. When I try to install the driver I get this error message: "Cannot find Cypress Trackpad!". It does not show up in the device manager (only my USB mouse is under the Mice and Keyboard menu.) My question is this: What can I do? I can't reflash the BIOS because I already have the latest one and WinFlash won't let you flash a BIOS with the same or earlier date on it. I have checked and the connection to the motherboard is very secure. What other options do I have? I'm not pleased in the least with this error. Any help is appreciated. I know computers well so if there are any solutions that are on the technical side, throw them at me! Thanks!
As a side note, I used a generic (read: non-OEM) windows ISO because Lenovo does not have a customized (OEM-specific) one easily accessable online.

I have downloaded the standard MAM (MAMLAPTOP3006_0-20001490.ZIP SAP MOBILE ASSET MANAGEMENT 3.0 SR 06 (Laptop) patch level - 0)
From this I have a standard .war file which I am deploying in NWT server (10.191.97.208)
I am successfully able to deploy the application in MI admin
But the deployed application is not visible in the list of mobile components
However this component is clearly visible in sysinfo.
Kindly suggest what can be done to resolve the issue.

Yo have an autorization problems. The possible reasons are:
1- The client have not downloaded the user information from the DOE.
2- You have not triggered a doe load for the SAP BASIS Component
3 - The user have not the required roles on the Mobile Server
