I've built a desktop application, and now I'm going to build setup for that application. I'm having the .jar file for the same. could you else please tell me what is the best way to do it!

Thanks a lot on helping me in resolving one issue, "Hyperion Enterprise Error: Module not Found He.hecontainer". But when I click on application setup I am getting the following error message.

An .exe file means you have the windows version. Go get the mac version:

but I hope you have a mac serial number.

Operations behind a Drag & Drop application setup

I would ask the community what operations does the system perform during a drag & drop application setup, i.e. from a .dmg file.
I can't believe it's just a drag & drop, i think the system is alerted every time you move an .app file in it and make some scripts or something like that.
Anyone expert knows an answers to this question?

It's a drag & drop copying from the disk image to your disk(s). Simple as that.

whever i try to access websites, most of them work but facebook, youtube, my school email, sometimes even google, and alot other websites wont work for me and will tell me i need to update the lastest Flash Player. but when i try to download it, it says 'You can’t open the application “setup.exe” because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on OS X.' what does that even mean?? This happens on safari, google chrome and i downloaded firefox and it worked for a couple of hours and then stopped working again.

1. Install Adobe Flash Player from Adobe site.
    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
   Download it first. Click Safari in the menubar and select “Quit Safari”.
    Follow the prompts and install it.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
    Enable it.

Optimal Drive and Application Setup

Good day all. First off I apologize if this is the wrong section for posting this. This question is not for any one specific app but more for the best setup across the entire suite.
I have been a member of the Adobe Suites for quite a few years but never had the chance to really setup my drives and configure my applications optimally. I do think that I have decent hardware in place now and wanted to reach out for best application setups (caching and such).
I am currently using all CC 2014 version applications (PS/ID/AI/AU/LR/PR/AE/Bridge). Based on my drives and GPU can I adjust any of the setting in these apps to take advantage of my system?
My drives are configured as such (I followed an older post regarding number of drive and what their roles would be (I believe submitted by Harm) as a model):
1 500GB SSD - primary OS/Apps
1 1TB WD Velociraptor - Lightroom Catalog
1 1TB WD Velociraptor - Previews + Exports
1 1TB WD Velociraptor - Pagefiles + Caching
2 1TB WD Velociraptor (Raid 0) - Media Files + Projects
My GPUs are:
Quadro 4000 + Tesla C2075 (Maximus configuration)
Quadro K2000 (needed to add a 3rd monitor)
Rest of system:
Dual Xeon E5-2670 (2.60 GHz)
64 GB Total Ram
I know know that the 4000 + C2075 weren't a good choice (but this was done almost 3 years ago...and Im sure I will regret the WD Velocirators in time but at the moment this is what I am working with.

You're correct, this is not the place for this kind of question. This forum is for setup, licensing, updating issues primarily with suite products. Normal users rarely come here.
What I would do is ask in a forum for either application you use the most, or, even better, the application which most requires the resources of your computer. That would probably be the video apps. There you will find other users who are in your situation. Good luck.

As has been mentioned, the software in Mac OS X that supported the running of PPC applications rather than current Intel applications on Intel computers such as your MBP was last seen in Snow Leopard. However, since I believe your MBP originally came with Snow Leopard, you may be able to boot from the DVD's that came with the computer and install it on an external HD and try to install Quark on that.
I think a better solution would be to buy Snow Leopard Server from Apple by phone (800-692-7753 and be specific about wanting part # MC588Z/A), installing it as a virtual machine in software like VMware Fusion, and then installing Quark 6 in that. You'll still need a license number to authorize the Quark installation.

Schema Application Setup

I have a S1000D Publication Module (PM) file which contains XML code which integrates all required Data Modules, style sheet and schema data into a cohesive publication for PDF output. My goal is to PDF output using FrameMaker 10 the XML code within the Publication Module not relying on the S1000D Add-on Package Adobe has available for download. Instead what I want to do for convenience sake is to load the Publication Module XML code into a book and publish it as a PDF without setting up a structured application since the Schema and Stylesheet C:\path location is already included in the PM file as XML code. Is this possible?
From what I have Googled thw Schema needs to be converted to a DTD and then an EDD. The brickwall I'm hitting is importing the pmSchema.xsd file into FrameMaker. Currently, FrameMaker crashes when I try to convert my XSD schema file to a DTD. Nevertheless, my PM already contains C:\Path code that points to the where the Schema and my stylesheets are located in my C:Drive. Therefore, isn't it possible to just load the PM to a BOOK, and then hit Publish PDF? Isn't FrameMaker smart enough to just go by the Schema & Stylesheet C:\Path code that's already included inside the PM file? What is the correct way to setup a Schema in FrameMaker 10 because what I'm doing is not working. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try this, change current schema to Y before statement and then change it back to X.

SCCM 2012 - Deploying Office 2013 Application - Setup Errors

dear SCCM admins,
i am trying to test deploying office 2013 to users in my company. i made the application and deployments. the application appeared in the software center and in the application catalog.
The problem is whenever a user "which is not a local administrator" tries to install this application, it gives me the setup errors message saying "You must have administrative privileges to install or uninstall this
product."
Is there any specific configuration to make to overcome this behavior???

As you can see from the screenshot you need to add the ProductID after the uninstall command.

AIR Application Setup doesn't show the buttons to start installation when using a long description

I've noticed that when the description of an app for Windows is long, you can't see the "Installation preferences" checkboxes, nor the "Install location", nor the "Continue" and "Cancel" buttons, so the user can't install anything. The window is NOT resizeable, and there's no scroll, so you can't see the buttons. So even though this is a cosmetic issue, it makes the setup non-functional, so it's a relatively important bug.

I can't believe such an oversight in basic functionality such as this could make it this far, after so many versions of AIR.

This is a requirement in Weblogic server set up for a Fusion Middleware 11g (Forms) Application
I have 2 requirements:
If there is a url say https://abc.world.corp/
1. I wanted to restrict the user from accessing https://abc.world.corp/admin (this is an admin console)
2. I want the user to receive an error message if he types a wrong url like https://abc.world.corp0/ or https://abc.world.cor/
I would like to know how to set up this. Can somebody provide a solution.

Below line in CRMS_KR.htm was causing the problem because while directly hitting the CRMS_KR.htm we had hard-coded all the tag values which in other case is read from formweb.cfg
Before:
*<PARAM NAME="serverURL" VALUE="/forms/lservlet?ifcfs=/forms/frmservlet?acceptLanguage=en-us">*
We modified it to
After:
*<PARAM NAME="serverURL" VALUE="/forms/lservlet">*
Now we are able to hit the below URL sucessfully
