Application.xml - Process- Scope

server: Dual Processor Dual Core Xeon - 3.4GHz
Ram: 2 GB DDRII
Operating System: CentOS 4 (32 bit) -FEDORA X.X -RED HAT -
ECC.
I changed the scope in the application.xml to "inst". But fms
doesn't create more than 40 processes.
here is the error from the log file.
May 17 10:15:40 Server[15925]: Failed to create process
condition: errno(28).
May 17 10:16:18 Server[15944]: Failed to create process
condition: errno(28).
May 17 10:18:44 Server[16591]: Failed to create process
condition: errno(28).
May 17 10:20:27 Server[16854]: Failed to create process
condition: errno(28).
May 17 10:21:40 Server[17120]: Failed to create process
condition: errno(28).
why? Help meeeeeeeee

Update ; it doesn't occur when you put in "app" but "inst" at
configuration parameter "<Scope>" in Application.xml
--> if you want to create a core per instance, instead of
a core per process (which is highly desirable to prevent individual
applications crashing eachother)

  • Problem with application.xml

    Hi,
    I would be really grateful if anybody could help me on this. My application.xml is given below:
    <!DOCTYPE application PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD J2EE Application 1.3//EN"
    "http://java.sun.com/dtd/application_1_3.dtd">
    <application>

    <context-root>SayMyName</context-root>
    </web>
    </module>
    <security-role></security-role>
    </application>
    At first I never had <security-role> and <java> element.
    But with all permutations and combinations I am always
    getting the following error message, whenever I am
    trying to deploy my .ear file.
    weblogic.management.DeploymentException: Error while loading descriptors: Error parsing file 'META-INF/application.xml' at line: 19 column: 15. weblogic.xml.process.XMLParsingException: Error parsing file 'META-INF/application.xml' at line: 19 column: 15. If anybody is aware of this problem, then kindly help.
    Interesting thing is that, even if I have number of lines

  • Error copying application.xml icons: .../bin-release/assets/icons' does not exist

    Hi,
    Whenever I try to export the release build I get error from COmpiler during the process that "Error copying application.xml icons: Resource '/Project_Name/bin-release/assets/icons' does not exist."  I have specified 4 icons in the -app.xml file of sizes 16,32,48,128 which exist in the path specified and files are not corrupt. I have checked and unchecked the compiler directive "Copy non-embedded resources in the Output file" but that has not helped too.
    Can somebody please advise what do I do in this situation?
    We are using
    FB4 with Flex Hero(4.5) SDK and java heap space specified in .ini files is 1224m
    This is somewhat urgent guys...
    Thanks

    Frank,
    Thank you for your answer. I had not checked (will do so tonight).
    I had considered it adequate to wipe out the entire system directory (thereby wiping out the integrated weblogic server), but perhaps it was not adequate? I did not specify that this is on the integrated server, but that is the case....

  • Integrating orion-application.xml deployment with JDeveloper?

    Hi all,
    I am trying to create JAAS secured web/ear application but haven't found the
    way to integrate the orion-application.xml file in the JDeveloper
    deployment process. An alternative would be to insert orion-application.xml tags
    into orion-web.xml and copy this one to the usual WEB-INF along with web.xml
    another possibility would be directly copying orion-application.xml to the
    %J2EE_HOME%\application-deployments\MyApp\orion-application.xml after deployed
    in the OC4J Server, but would be lot easier just having JDeveloper deploy it
    automatically, what is the way to do it?

  • SOAP Adapter without SOAP envelope sets contenttype to application/xml

    Hi,
    I wrote a adaptermodul for the SOAP adapter to create a SOAP:HEADER.
    I disable the SOAP envelope in the communication channel.
    Now I get a error from the WebService Provider because the SOAP Adapter sends with Content-Type application/xml and not text/xml. I set the content-type in the adapter module but it seens to not work.
    How can I correct this ?
    Regards,
    Gerald

    Hi
    Simple answer is NO, it is not possible (without party/channel/ service etc to process the request)
    but it is worth a try to check if the URL encoding works.. though I have not tried..
    for example sending the hex value of the "?" -   %3F%
    URL is a generic topic, you can search that to get more information

  • WLST script to edit application.xml

    We have an EAR that is being deployed to 6 different domains. I was wondering if there is a way to dynamically set the value of the "web-uri" and "context-root" elements of the application.xml file for all the modules inside the EAR, based on the domain in which the EAR is being deployed.
    Currently, we are making 6 copies of the EAR, editing the application.xml file in each EAR and deploying them through the weblogic admin console. I thought I would write a script to automate the process.

    Hi,
    If you want to dynamicall make any Modifications in your Deployment Descriptors like "application.xml"..."weblogic.xml"...etc then you can use *"Plan.xml"* feature provided bu WebLogic....
    Example : http://jaysensharma.wordpress.com/2009/11/29/shared-library-with-plan-xml/

  • XML Processing Implementaion

    Hi,
    While studying, I found the following sentence :
    The Java API for XML Processing (JAXP) enables applications to parse and transform XML documents independent of a particular XML processing implementation.
    In the above sentence, what is a "XML processing implementation"?
    Regards

    I think an SAP man should answer here, but my common sense and SAP knowledge suggests me:
    A1: yes, evidently
    A2: the fact that DOM4J is quoted in a weblog doesn't mean it's officialy supported by SAP, it's  just an option, just like Apache Xerces and others. You can use them in interface dev, it's up to you, but an Adapter is a completly different story: SAP wants to make sure it has full control over a Certified Adapter, and the only way to do that is to have full control on the additional libraries that this Adapter uses. SAP can have this control on SAP XML Toolkit, but not on DOM4J or Xerces, obviously.
    A3: no difference, except that logically and pragmatically is much more convenient to package and deploy everyhting your stuff needs in order to work properly.

  • FMS3 Process Scope

    I have a suite of FMS apps that I want to deploy across
    different VHosts on ws2003. The principal app is deployed in packs
    of 15 instances, although there are about 5 smaller 'helper' apps
    which are mainly singletons. Each pack is a running unit - so from
    a process isolation point of view, setting process scope to "app"
    seems fine. But this raises the following questions:
    1) What are the performance implications of each scope - my
    guess is that 'inst' scope is expensive. But are there scalability
    or resource implications for each scope? I'd be interested to know
    if scope can play an active part in tuning my apps.
    2) If scope is set at the application level, and I set it to
    'inst', and I do this for each application, does this mean that if
    I have 10 apps with 10 instances each, that I create 100
    FMSCore.exe processes? And does it mean that if I set 'numproc' to
    3 for each of them that I'd create 30 processes?

    Hi,
    I tried without using any valuechange listener and its absolutely working fine.
    No need of putting any values in processScope and blah blah!!
    I am passing values in backing bean for the ExecuteWithParams this way:
    BindingContainer bindings = getBindings();
    OperationBinding operationBinding =
    bindings.getOperationBinding("ProcurementLOVParams");
    Map map = operationBinding.getParamsMap();
    map.put("ContractTypeBind", conTypeChoice.getValue().toString());
    map.put("ContractPseBind", pseNumber.getValue().toString());
    Object result = operationBinding.execute();
    And this is working fine..

  • Error-page tag not valid in global-web-application.xml ?

    Hi!
    From what I understand about the global-web-application.xml file in Oracle's documentation, the content of the web-app tag should be inherited to all web application as a web.xml content.
    One of the web.xml tags is error-page, which contains the page url for the standard return codes (404, 500, and so on).
    If I put the error-page on the web.xml inside a web application, it works as expected.
    But if I don't put this tag inside the web applicaction, but in the global-web-applicacion.xml (web-app) tag, it doesn't work.
    We are testing the 404 error page, but I don't know if it is because the application server can't find the error page or because the global-web-application.xml isn't being inherited correctly.
    Where is this file supposed to be looked for? Or the only way to do this is by writing the configuration on all web applications?
    We are using 9.0.3

  • How to get the data from mysql database which is being accessed by a PHP application and process the data locally in adobe air application and finally commit the changes back in to mysql database through the PHP application.

    How to get the data from mysql database which is being accessed by a PHP application and process the data locally in adobe air application and finally commit the changes back in to mysql database through the PHP application.

    If the data is on a remote server (for example, PHP running on a web server, talking to a MySQL server) then you do this in an AIR application the same way you would do it with any Flex application (or ajax application, if you're building your AIR app in HTML/JS).
    That's a broad answer, but in fact there are lots of ways to communicate between Flex and PHP. The most common and best in most cases is to use AMFPHP (http://amfphp.org/) or the new ZEND AMF support in the Zend Framework.
    This page is a good starting point for learning about Flex and PHP communication:
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/flex_php.html
    Also, in Flash Builder 4 they've added a lot of remote-data-connection functionality, including a lot that's designed for PHP. Take a look at the Flash Builder 4 public beta for more on that: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashbuilder4/

  • Application.xml over-written when deploying JDeveloper 10.1.3.2

    Hi all,
    I created a Web Application that contains JSF, EJB, and Toplink. I have a ViewController project, a Model project, and a Deployment project. The ViewController obviously contains my JSPs, etc, the Model my EJBs and server code, and deployment profiles for each. The Deployment project contains a deployment profile for creating the EAR file for the other two projects.
    When the EAR is created (or if I deploy to stand-alone OC4J) the application.xml is generated without an module/EJB tag containing my EJB jar. Therefore when the server starts up it does not find any of my EJBs.
    If I manually modify the application.xml in a created EAR file and then deploy it manually, everything works great. So, I tried to create an application.xml file in my Deployment project (and I tried in my ViewController project, too), but it ends up getting over-written and changed to still not have the module/EJB tag. Can someone explain to me how to stop JDeveloper from overriding this file or how to get JDeveloper to include this tag set when creating the application.xml?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    JDeveloper 10.1.3.2 supports J2EE 1.4 in which the web.xml does not include the
    <taglib> element. Remove the <taglib> element from the web.xml. Specify the http uri in the <%@ taglib prefix='srp' uri='' %>
    Add the taglib JAR file to project libraries.

  • Re-Using XML file from decode barcode + extract xml process

    I was hoping someone could put me in the right direction here. I am decodeing the information stored in a 2D Bar code and sending this information to an XML file, then I am trying to combine that xml file with a blank PDF template but the process is failing beacuse there are some additional tag fields the XML data from the  Decode->Extract XML process.
    The XML file from the decode process gives the structure below..notice therer some extra tags (lines 2- 4)
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xdp:xdp xmlns:xdp="http://ns.adobe.com/xdp/" xmlns:xfa="http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-data/1.0/">
    <xfa:datasets>
    <xfa:data>
    <form1>
    The XML structure that is expected by the PDF template is as follows
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <form1>
    So the xml output of the Decode barcode + Extract XML process has three extra lines of tag. Is there a way I could use a process within liveCycle to clean out those three lines in real-time before sending the xml to be recombined with the PDF template.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    What you may do is to use the SetValue and its xpath builder functions to "serialize" the xml into string, "substring" to remove the extra tags, and "concat" to add the extra tags and then "deserialize" it again to an xml to be merged with your form.

  • Java enhancement in XSLT mapping in PI 7.1 and JDK5 XML processing

    Hi,
    I am implementing an XSLT mapping and I need to use java enhancements. I got those working but only if I check "Use SAP XML Toolkit" from Operation Mapping. I would like to use JDK5 XML processing.
    I also got this message to trace:
    Resource not found: META-INF/services/javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory
    Thrown:
    com.sap.aii.ib.server.mapping.execution.MappingClassNotFoundException: META-INF/services/javax.xml.parsers.saxparserfactory
    I tried to use com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl but still couldn't get java enhancement working.
    Is there a way to get JDK5 XML processing working with java enhancements?

    > Is there a way to get JDK5 XML processing working with java enhancements?
    No. Java processing inside XSLT is no standard. So it works only with SAP lib.
