Appointment - End Date/Time to be default sames as Start Date/Time

When a sales rep chooses a “start date/time” to schedule an appointment in CRM, can the “end date/time” be updated as same as “start date/time”?
E.g. Select Start Time: 4/5/2010 10:00AM, then the End Time: 4/5/2010 11:00AM should default to the selected Start Time.
Thanks for your help.

  • Finish Date of Predecessor is the same as Start date of Successor

    Has anyone run into this situation where the finish date of the predecessor is the same as start date of successor? Also, an activity with 1 day duration has a start date of 8/15/13 and a finish date of 8/16/13. This boggles my mind. Help!

    No I haven't seen either of these here, but perhaps this is influenced somehow by Time Zone settings?  Is this a schedule imported from other resource (P6?) or created in Unifier?
      from oracle knowledgebase:
    The Time Zone setting affects the date stamp that appears on the actions that you perform in Unifier, such as
    saving or uploading files, and also affects due dates for tasks that are assigned to you. Within an Audit Log the
    date and time stamp of each event reflect users’ current time zone as set in their User Preferences.
    For user-defined reports, the time zone shown is used for date fields in the report. The default time zone is
    defined when the report is designed. It can reflect the time zone from your user preferences or be fixed to a
    particular time zone, such as the project location or company headquarters.
    Time Zone can also come into play when you create a "bidder" account so that vendors can log into Unifier and
    submit bids. Set the Time Zone field to match that of the bid requestor’s (either your company’s time zone, or
    the zone from which the bid invitation is sent). If your bidders are in a different time zone from yours, this will
    protect them from mistakenly submitting bids after the bidding process is closed.
    Refer to the Unifier User Guide and Unifier Administration Guide for additional details.

  • Modelling Time Dimension with Fact Table containing Start Date and End Date

    Hi Gurus,
    I have a time dimension with Year till Date. I have a fact table which consists of Start Date, End Date, Person ID, Department ID.
    How do i design Time dimension with fact table the below scenario
    In the dashboard i have start Month and End month as prompts.
    In the report i need to display Count(Person ID) > Start Date and < End Date along the trend.
    For instance, i have selected Jan-2009 as start date and Apr-2009 as End Date, then i need to display Count(Person ID) of Jan-2009, Feb2009, Mar-2009 andApr-2009.
    I Can not connect Time dimension with only Start Date or only with End Date to get the trend along the months.
    Please advice on the issue which i am having.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the response, Infact i tried using Complex join in physical layer. I have considered Time table joined with Fact table, and used >= and took and alias of the Time table and joined fact table using <=. When coming to BMM, i am not knowing how do i design this as if i merge the both the time dimensiona and its alias into single table, values will not be correct and if i make them as seperate columns. i can not show the trend as both are different columns.
    Can you please let know where i am going wrong.
    Thanks

  • How to restrict the EBS end users to run only two same reports at a time?

    Hi,
    We are using EBS 12.0.6 and database 10.2.0.3.
    Is it possible to restrict the end business users to run only two reports at a time?
    OR
    Is it possible to restrict the end business users to run only two same reports at a time?
    Thanks.

    Is it possible to restrict the end business users to run only two same reports at a time?It is not possible.
    You can either make the report "incompatible" to itself (this means only one user in your company can run it at a time)
    Or not make it incompatible. (That means any user can run it any number of times)
    Incompatibility is a way of specifying which requests cannot be run under which circumstances.
    See http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/A60725_05/html/comnls/us/fnd/incomp.htm
    You can use Hussain's suggestion to use Concurrent: Active Request Limit profile. You can set this profile value at each user level. But if you decide to set it at global level, remember to keep it a higher value for sysadmin kind of users that run scheduled jobs.
    Hope this helps,

  • Same order start date for 4 FG in same work center

    Hi All,
          I have four different Finished goods all have same lead time and same requirement date in same work center, I didn't have capacity planning so all FG have same start date in same work center after MRP run, how it is practically possible on the shopfloor.
    Is there any solution available.
    Sekhar

    The fact of running MRP (with or without Lead time scheduling) has nothing to do with the leveling of capacity. Lets consider both cases :
    Indicator "1" :
    - No capacity load is determined
    - Basic Dates from material master calculated to cover the requirements.
    Indicator "2" :
    - Capacity Loads are calculated.
    - Dates coming from recipes or routings calculated to fulfill the material requirements.
    - Overload displayed in CM01
    What you need is to run Capacity Leveling (CM25, CM29 ), dispatching the orders to the work center in a feasible date. But this step is never included in MRP run.

  • My iPhone 4s is saving Notes and dates like 50 of the same note and date. WHY? HELP

    I can not take off a date that I set on my ical and it has it saved it like 100 times. Taking up alot of my space on my iPhone 4s. It is really affecting my whole phone system (texting, FACEBOOK, Pinterest, calendar, Notes, camera, EMail BIG TIME!) I trash old emails and they come right back so I have like 550 old emails. The Capacity is at 13.5 on my iPhone 4s its because of what is going on with my iphone 4s. Need help on how to clean it from a virus.   jil r

    You don't have a virus, at least not on the iPhone. Issues is likely on the server for your email service. However you can try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray BEFORE doing the reset.

  • Line Graph repeats the starting data point at the end also

    Hi,
    We have a Line Graph as below. This graph is used to show the Salary changes of a person, over time.
    But this graph shows an additional non existing data point. Basically it shows the starting data point once again at the end of the other data points.
    The model VO for this graph, does not contain this additional data point record. But the graph repeats the starting data point at the end also.
    In the screen-shot you can see that, the graph has three data points. But the table has only two. The first data point in the graph is repeated as the last data point.
    Is this a Bug..?

    If I understand your question, this from the Pages online help may give the answer:
    To mark line, area, and scatter charts with data point symbols:
    Select the entire chart. You can also select the chart series (the line or area shape) that you want to mark with data point symbols.
    Click Inspector in the toolbar, and then click the Chart Inspector button.
    Click Series (except for scatter charts).
    Choose a symbol from the Data Point Symbol pop-up menu.
    Choose one of the following options from the Symbol Fill pop-up menu:
    To fill the symbol with the same color as its outline, choose Use Stroke Color.
    To fill the symbol with a solid color, choose Color Fill, click the Fill color well, and pick a color.
    To fill the symbol with a gradient, choose Gradient Fill and use the gradient controls to set the colors and change the angle of the gradient.
    To fill the symbol with an image, choose Image Fill and select the image you want. You can also resize the image by choosing an option from the pop-up menu above the Choose button.
    To fill the symbol with a tinted image, choose Tinted Image Fill and select the image you want. Click the color well to the right of the Choose button to change the tint color. You can also resize the image by choosing an option from the pop-up menu above the Choose button.

  • Scheduling start date and end dates

    Hello Gurus,
    I am trying to understand the schedule start date and schedule end date functionality in Plant Maintenance. I do understand the basic start and end dates. Currently I set up u201C3.Do not adjust basic dates, dep rqmts to order startu201D and set the scheduling type as u201CForwardsu201D . Please note we donu2019t do any capacity planning or leveling.
    So my question is, why the scheduling start date is defaults to the basic  start date  for forwards and scheduling finish date defaults to basic finish date for backwards ? I tried adding couple of operations and save the work order. It did not change anything in schedule dates.
    Do we really need to care about scheduling dates if we donu2019t use capacity planning ?
    Please advise
    Mahee

    Hi,
    As per priority, final dates would be calculated as we will define the duration based on the priprity. Either current date or basic date only applied to Scheduling start date.
    You can change the scheduling start date so that based on priority, final date would be calculated.
    Regards,
    Maheswaran.

  • When ever  enter the date start date up to next year same date between the days divided into 8 parts

    when ever  enter the date start date up to next year same date between the days divided into 8 parts
    Q1.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 1 for year YYYY
    Q1.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of Quarter1 for year YYYY
    Q2.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 2 for year YYYY
    Q2.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of Quarter 2 for year YYYY
    Q3.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 3 for year YYYY
    Q3.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of QuarterQ3 for year YYYY
    Q4.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 4 for year YYYY
    Q4.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of Quarter 4 for year YYYY
    Here YYYY depicts the year.
    e.g. Q1.2 (2014) depicts the 2nd half of Quarter 1 for year 2014.
    The description of these values are explained below.
    The table below provides the description about each value:
    Quarter     Quarter Range      Start Date
    Q1.1      1 Jan - 15 Feb         1st  Jan
    Q1.2      16 Feb-31 Mar         16th Feb
    Q2.1      1 Apr- 15 May          1st Apr
    Q2.2      16 May-30 June       16th May
    Q3.1      1 Jul-15 Aug             1th Jul
    Q3.2      16 Aug -30 Sep       16th Aug
    Q4.1      1 Oct -15 Nov           1st Oct
    Q4.2      16 Nov – 31 Dec      16th Nov
    The dropdown values in time window needs to be updated as per date entered by the user in the Audit Plan start date and
    should display the next four Quarter (each divided in 2 half  i.e. Eight values ) along with the year  from the selected Audit plan start date.
    for eg. If the Plan start date is given as August 10 2013 then the Time window will display the following options:
    Q3.2 (2013)
    Q 4.1 (2013)
    Q 4.2 (2013)
    Q 1.1 (2014)
    Q1.2 (2014)
    Q2.1 (2014)
    Q 2.2 (2014)
    Q 3.1 (2014)
    You can refer to the Table above and look that 10 Aug 2013 falls under the Q3.1 so Time window will display the next next 8 half Quarters ( Total 4 Quarter) till Q 3.1 for the year 2014.

    half_quarters generates the start dates of every half of a quarter, starting with the begin of the first quarter that contains the sample date.
    The next step is to order the dates and to select only those after the sample date.
    The last part formats the output and orders the data.

  • How do you calculate difference in time (hours and minutes) between 2 two date/time fields?

    Have trouble creating formula using FormCalc that will calculate difference in time (hours and minutes) from a Start Date/Time field and End Date/Time field.
    I am using to automatically calculate total time in hours and minutes only of an equipment outage based on a user entered start date and time and end date and time.
    For example a user enters start date/time of an equipment outage as 14-Oct-12 08:12 AM and then enters an end date/time of the outage of 15-Oct-12 01:48 PM.  I need a return that automatically calculates total time in hours and minutes of the equipment outage.
    Thanks Chris

    Hi,
    In JavaScript you could do something like;
    var DateTimeRegex = /(\d\d\d\d)-(\d\d)-(\d\d)T(\d\d):(\d\d)/;
    var d1 = DateTimeRegex.exec(DateTimeField1.rawValue);
    if (d1 !== null)
        var fromDate = new Date(d1[1], d1[2]-1, d1[3], d1[4], d1[5]);
    var d2 = DateTimeRegex.exec(DateTimeField2.rawValue);
    if (d2 !== null)
        var toDate = new Date(d2[1], d2[2]-1, d2[3], d2[4], d2[5]);
    const millisecondsPerMinute = 1000 * 60;
    const millisecondsPerHour = millisecondsPerMinute * 60;
    const millisecondsPerDay = millisecondsPerHour * 24;
    var interval = toDate.getTime() - fromDate.getTime();
    var days = Math.floor(interval / millisecondsPerDay );
    interval = interval - (days * millisecondsPerDay );
    var hours = Math.floor(interval / millisecondsPerHour );
    interval = interval - (hours * millisecondsPerHour );
    var minutes = Math.floor(interval / millisecondsPerMinute );
    console.println(days + " days, " + hours + " hours, " + minutes + " minutes");
    This assumes that the values in DateTimeField1 and DateTimeField2 are valid, which means the rawValue will be in a format like 2009-03-15T18:15

  • Bar chart and pie chart in same screen at a time

    hi experts,
    I am trying to display the bar chart and pie chart in two separate containers in same screen .I wrote code for this in PBO of screen by using the function module  GFW_PRES_SHOW , but it is showing one chart at a time which is lastly executed in the PBO.
    I need to display two charts in two container at a time by calling the same function modules two times first time for bar chart second time for pie chart by changing the  parameter
    presentation_type      = 1 for bar chart
    presentation_type      = 31 for pie chart.
    please help me in this regard asap.
    Thanks,
    K.Rajesh.

    Hi..
    Instead of using the FMs .. you should use the Object oriented approach for the same.
    Brief steps:
    You should have 2 control areas and 2 containers.
    Define different instances of 2 controls and attach them to the 2 containers.
    Call individual methods to display the controls in PBO.
    This should show both at a time. It is really simple.
    As an example you can go to SE38. From the (sap) menu go to Environment -> Examples -> Control Examples.
    Here you will see lot of examples.

    Varun.

  • INHOUSDE PRODUCTION TIME AND BASIC START DATE

    WHAT IS THE RELATION BETWEEN INHOUSE PRODUCTION TIME AND BASIC START DATES

    Hi,
    Inhouse production Time : This is the field avl in material master, where we provide No. of days required to producce a Product / Assembly. While running MRP if you use the Scheduling as " Basic Scheduling" in MRP parameters system will take the value from Material master and do the backward scheduling and find the Basic Start and Finish dates for a Order. i.e. From the Finsh Date system subtract the Inhouse Prod time and arrive at the Baic Start Date.
    If you select the Lead time scheduling in MRP parameters then system will ignore the Inhouse prod time mentioned in Mat master and consider the Routing Timings for scheduling the Order.
    Hope this will help you.

  • Timescaledata Start Date and Finish Date not both inclusive

    From testing a bit with Time Scale Values in Visual Basic I noticed that when specifying Start and Finish dates for accessing Time Scale Data those dates were not both inclusive. The fact is that specifying a Start Date for Time Scale values will return
    data for which dates are greater or equal to the Start Date Specified but when also specifying a Finish Date the Time Scale values returned are only the ones that are less than the Finish Date specified not the ones less or equal as one would expect since
    the Start date is Incllusive. This is true for actual work with Microsoft Project 2007 and 2013 unsing Visual studio 2013. Has anyone experienced such a behavior? Is this a intended Behavior? Please see following code snippet

    Jaques,
    In my example, the ass.start and ass.finish are the start and finish dates respectively of the assignment. Since the resource is assigned full time for the whole duration of the task, the assignment start and finish are the same as the task start and finish,
    namely, Dec 1, 2014 and Dec 7, 2014. If you only want data for specific days, say Dec 4, 2014 and Dec 5, 2014, then the syntax would be:
    Set TSV = ass.TimeScaleData("12/4/14", "12/5/14", pjAssignmentTimescaledWork, pjTimescaleDays)
    The result will be 7h and 8h respectively.
    If you want to print out the date along with the hours for each day in the Immediate Window, the following modification to the macro will do that:
    Sub testtimescale()
    Dim ass As Assignment
    Dim TSV As TimeScaleValues
    Dim val As TimeScaleValue
