Approved for credit, then denied.

I was approved for a 500 dollar credit line, then when I made a $420 purchase, it was declined. We're on a bit of a time crunch here, otherwise I'd be waiting patiently. Should I go ahead and repurchase my item? How long does it take for a pending charge to be reviewed? I sent an email to paypal, but have not heard back yet. It was my first time using the PPC feature, so I'm not sure if I messed something up. I did go back and review to make sure all of the information matched (address, phone number, etc) and verified my credit card and phone number through paypal.

I was approved for a credit line. Went to use it to pay for a purchase and it was declined??? Where do I pull up info on this. I have emailed a few times and nobody responded. I have called a couple of times and I was on hold so long I hung up. This company does not have good customer service. Does anyone know wherein go to find out this info?

  • Approved for CSP! After being Denied Discover lol

In shock.. just approved for CSP $8,000 SL 15.99% APR. My highest starting limit and best APR since I began rebuilding! To take a step back. I had no credit before April of this year (besides student loans) due to messing things up about six years ago. My two worst baddies are two charge offs, which are both credit cards. One was paid for less than owed and one never paid. They both fall off this time next year. I also have several 180, 60 and 30 day lates on a card that are a few years old (card is closed and fully paid, never charged off). My scores are in sig. You can see where I've come from in just four months. I've had the three cards in my sig for about 5 months now, PIF..utilization below 9% total. Really shocked I got approved for this prime card after only four months of rebuilding. Discover declined me yesterday with same profile lol.  If I go for the Freedom today, will it only be one HP? Or will I be denied since I already app'd once?

Freedom very well could be the same HP, although might be a different one..  If I were you and under 5 NEW CC accunts in the last two years I would apply and get the freedom now as well, being today.. The Freedom/CSP combo is the way to go!  You transfer the 5x ur points from the freedom to the CSP then to the partner.  CSP isn't meant to really be a cash back card thus the transfer to the partner.   This is what makes the Freedom/CSP such a great combo for people that travel or take vacations. It might need to be reconned or could be denied, but a great combo and imo worth the try. congrats on your CSP approvalI understand the combo benefit, so I am definitely targeting it. My issue is if it's a different HP or possibly different I might as well wait --- to take advantage of the $200 offer if it comes back during the holiday season this year. That and for the next 3 months everything is going through the CSP anyway to hit the spend requirement for the bonus. So all indications tell me to wait on the Freedom.Fair enough.. Guess is it whether using the same HP is worth 100$ extra dollars on the freedom, but no gurantee?  Otherwise if you value a HP at $100 being the $200 signup bonus then wait until November or Dec when the $200 bonus hopefully comes back.  As Always YMMV if they choose to use the same HP or not..  Anyways, go with your gut feeling as it is usually the best whatever that might be.All valid points. The other chance is that they do 2x HPs....no gurantee it will be the same HP. Either way I'm happy to be a part of the club. I've been targeting this travel card since I started rebuilding about 5 months ago. I appreciate all if your input.

  • 0 for 18 then 13.99 Citi DC Approval!

I was really confused this morning as to why my Amex accounts STILL had not reported yet. I didn't understand. It had been another week after their latest possible promised date. So I called in, I was told they would be reporting first week of august. Checked the mail...then it dawned on me.  My capital 1 qs 0 interest ends in sept/oct...Got a great preapproval in the mail....Let citi see the inquiries but get in before more accounts are added. I only got offers on their site for 9 months at 0 then 22.9 for their diamond preferred. All the paper offers for the DC have ALWAYS been at 19.9% 0 for 12. I was kinda expecting more than $1k but knew it would be kinda lowish. But for my credit profile I think its very acceptable just for the APR alone. I'd much rather have 2.4k than 1k for utility. They even offered me a number to use instantly lol. Wont be doing that. Question, is there any way possible I can call in and request a higher limit? Should I do this now or when the card comes? I do not want to use a 2nd pull for a higher limit which I know with them is always an option.

To answer your question it would be another pull  on your credit report if you ask for credit line increase. Not only will it be another Hp. there is no guarantee it will be approved. just got my dc  3 weeks ago. always wait until you have the card as they will not talk to you until then. unless you contact Eo. and you will get the request option once you have card.; it will be online. Hp 100%. i was denied instantly. Too many new accounts. but you may not have. i only got 3 in the last 6 months. but 8 in the last year. new accounts that is. best to wait 6 months for sp cli from all the info i gathered about it. I just accepted my 2k. after seeing others get 1200 limits on DC. Sad to say the least. Right thats why I don't want to be tooo greedy. I actually think having this limit would be OK regardless. I will just pay it off multiple times a month and request a CLI. If it was 1000-1200... i would still be thankful its more than 500. I'd rather use ONE inquiry instead of THREE to get a credit card The way I see it is, by avoiding getting the venture, I can use the same number of inquiries for far better bonuses. And this gets me in the door for some easier Citi TYP card approvals later....with a nice rate to boot.

  • Approval for deviation from credit limit

    Hi Guys
Approval for deviation from credit limit does not work in the following scenario.
    Credit Limit = R20000
    Balance = 0
Sales order added for R18000, no approval needed as less than credit limit.
Then user changes the Sales order amount to more than the credit limit and no approval is activated.
Any ideas? They are on 2007A SP 01 PL 7
    Thanks

  • Setting approval level for credit management in SD

    Dear Gurus,
I have a case like this:
My client would like to use credit management in SD. They have few approval levels for for credit limit release.
Exp: With SD has amount under from 1000$, Mr. A has the right to approve and release it
With SD has amount bigger than 1000$, Mr. A  have to release it and then Mr. B check again afterwards Mr. B can reject and release it up to his decision.
As I see in SAP, maybe there is only one level for check and after release the SO doesn't need other approve anymore. But I am still concerning about how to find or config to satisfy this requirement.
    Thank for nice support!

In our case we have maintained a view named as "ZVW_OAR_WF_CTRL" which is created by our ABAPer.

  • Approval for exceeding credit limit for particular bussiness partners

    Hi Experts,
I am trying one approval for the Business partners for credit limit exceed.I have tried through standard Approval process by using the terms deviation from credit value as described but what should be done if  i need to set it for particular business partners.
Also, in this standard query which i have tried i have defined the terms as :-
Deviation from credit limit greater than or equal to 50,000 . I have set this terms for A/R Invoice. Now when i have made the invoice for rs.5000 then also it is asking for Approval.Since the Value is defined so system should not ask for approval.
    Regards-
    Mona.

    Hi Mona,
You may try this. It may help you..
    select true from ocrd where
    ((balance < 0) or (balance + $[$29.0.NUMBER]) < 0) and cardcode = $[ordr.cardcode]
use squere brackets near $ sign open and close both brackets insted of round brackets.

If you have an existing ID, & you don't want to use a credit card, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a new ID by following the directions here, EXACTLY:

  • How do I get approved for Sam's Club Credit?

Anyone know if Sam's Club credit card is harder to get for some reason?  I can't seem to get approved for it.   I applied in May, are they strict when it comes to extending credit? There's a new Sam's club opening up in the town I live in and want to shop there, but not necesarily use my credit cards / cash for it.

I thought to get MC version you had to be in 700s?

  • OOPS! BOA recons?! Update: post #40! Update#2: Approved for BBR!!!!

So I bit the bullet and applied for the Better Balance Rewards and got an insta-deny. I have a 676 EX FICO, which is what BOA pulled. I have 12 EX inquiries (luckily, only two of them from the last 6 months). Anyway, I called BOA's number for a credit analyst to recon and the analyst would not budge, even after I asked for a $500 limit just to get my foot in the door. She cited two reasons:1) Too short of credit history (AAOA about a year and a half)  2) 6 late student loan payments on two student loans (12 lates in total) from 2013 (this is what I expect is the real reason for the denial). I then asked if there was a secured version of the BBR card (which she did not directly answer, but I suspect the answer is no), but she did say if I wanted a generic secured card, I would have to apply for one. I told her no thank you, as my EX FICO score -- while not phenomenal -- is at least high enough that I do not have to settle for a secured card without rewards. Strangely, at this point, she said that they don't use FICO in their determinations -- that they just look at the credit file as a whole. Anyway, I have a few questions that I hope to uncover some answers to:1) What is the minimum limit for approval on the BBR? Or at least the minimum you've heard of?2) Is it worth a second recon? Has anyone who has personal experience with BOA recons ever been denied on the first recon but approved on the second? 3) Do you think I might have a chance at approval if I request they pull TU as well? My TU is 30 points higher -- 706. Do you REALLY need the card? or you just want it...just curious   You seem to have good cards already.

I know of a fella who called these guys about 100 times over a course of 5 days and eventually got approved for a Travel Rewards. Don't give up so easy on this card, I have 4 of them and love the $480/yr I get from them for approximately $1,000 of spend.

  • Approved for BBR!!!! VERY strange recon experience!!!

So, I'm kind of shaking right now. I applied for BOA's Better Balance Rewards a few days ago and was instantly denied. I then called BOA's backdoor number to speak to a credit analyst who was a bit dismissive of my attempts at a recon (understandable given the baddies in my profile) Anyway, the long and short of it is, later I got a call out of the blue from a rep in BOA's quality assurance department who more or less said that my recon call was not performed to their standards and asked if I would like my application reopened and submitted, which of course I said yes to... If you'd like more detail about this ultra bizarre experience as well as my stats for approval, see the following thread:http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Applications/OOPS-BOA-recons-Update-post-40-Update-2-Approved-for-BBR/td-p/4164655 But to sum it up, I just checked online and evidently I was approved. I then called the automated app status line to find that my limit will be $2100!!! I would have been happy with $500! LOL. I really can't believe it!!

  • Card Trick Approval for HSN!!

I have been trying for awhile to get the HSN pop up credit approval with no luck.  I just read a post from last year and I thought it was worth repeating. A little tricker than the other Comenity pop up approvals.  Firstly I was approved for $ 2,000.  Ok you put a couple of items in the cart and check out as a guest.  Complete the billing and shipping screens and when it ask you to input your payment information, enter your  credit card  information.  You will have to press the continue screen which allows you to review the order before you finalize the purchase.  Once you press the continue screen, the pop up pre approval appears.  Once you complete the pre approval and hopefully are approved, the credit information is replaced with your new HSN credit card number.  You can then remove the items....I happened to like a pair of jeans and actually bought them!  When I went to set up the Comenity account, I was unable to get any additional CL increase.  I'm satisfied for now, lol!

  • My DTI is 48%, could I be approved for cash out refinance with my situation...

Credit card balance- 4300outstanding loan- $3000car payment $482 per monthmortgage- $1298 per month fico is 740, been with current employer for a year (same profession and pay structure for 6 years) doing a cash out refinance would lower my monthly mortgage payment by $100.00 per month and pay off the credit card and loan would then bring my DTI to around 34%. The trick is, could I get approved for a cash out refinance with my current high DTI?!  Oh and i have about $11,000 cash on hand in my personal checking account. Its going to drive me crazy if the loan officer says "sorry but your DTI is too high" ofcourse it is now! But it wont be if you approve this cash out refinance! Lol

If you are paying off the debt through the cash out refi, the debt doesn't count against your DTI. If you are just taking cash to "pay it off", it will count.
