AR aging report--from transaction date

Hi
Presently the 7/4 bucket aging report shows current and invoices no of days past due i.e. 31 days due past due date.
Is there a report or any way by which this aging report can be generated to show aging from transaction date.
Thanks
Ninad

Hi ninad
Aging Reports by default are generated based on Transaction date only and not based on GL Date. Please explain your requirement clearly

  • AP aging report from SAP

    We found that AP aging report from SAP  is not tie with Balance in Balance sheet.  Please advise how to find the report which match with our requirement.
    Concept of the AP aging report is to age outstanding AP as at the end of month (Open item date).  We found that A/P aging report which we currently use is cannot match to balance per G/L. (Please see detail in attached file). And the balance in AP aging report is always changes if we retrieve data on difference timing.
    Additionally, this report is not show the reconciliation account, please advise whether it is possible to show summary line which sum by reconciliation account.
    Please advise if you have another SAP transaction or any advise on this.
    kindly suggest

    Hi,
    For ageing report please go to fbl3n and go for change layout there is a option for ageing and posting period choose those two and subtotal it according to posting then you will get period wise meand month wise ageing  report for vendor.

  • XL Reporter Sample AR Aging Report by Transaction come up blank

    Hi,
    I am running B1 2007 with PL38.  I downloaded the sample AR Aging Report by transaction from SAP but when I generated the report, I get the worksheet with blank Data.  Can anyone make any suggestions.
    Regards,
    Peter To

    Peter,
    We're at PL41, but I had the same problem and contacted SAP Support.  After reporting the problem, SAP logged onto my database via a WebEx session, got into SQL Server Console, and modified a ixView in the database views. They had to increase the size of two Ref fields in the view. Once they did that, everything worked fine.
    You probably just need to open a message and get it scheduled.

  • AR Aging Report by Due Date

    Hello:
    I did the OB transfer from another database. I transferred all the invoices by due date. After the transfer I tried to run an aging report. The aging report does not show the AR by age. I just see the total. Any help to resolve this will be much appreciated
    Thanks,
    Satish

    Hi Rahul:
    I entered them at Feb 01 date with the due date of the respective invoices. When I run the aging report by posting date all the transactions fall under < 30 days. But when I choose aging report by due date all the balances show under Balance due and there is no aging available. I tried doing this in the test data base and it worked fine there. But not in the active/production database. Please let me know why is this?
    Thanks,

  • How to generate Top sales report from SAP data ?

    Hello experts,
    I am completely a newbie to SAP BO , can any one guide me how to generate TOP sales of the year report from SAP data ?

    Hi David,
    First Let me know the Source & Tools to involve.
    Let me go with the generic approach:
    If the source is BW, then you can create the logic in query designer designer and then you can incorporate the data into the dashboard or webi or crystal report whatever its.
    If the source is sql or anyother DB then it can also be achievable in crystal or webi to write the logic in top 10 values by ranking then you can incorporate the data into the dashboard, but here you can limit the top or bottom values.
    Hope this helps, please revert for more clarifications on this.

  • Create Report from HFM Data Grid

    Hi All,
    I need to create a report out of the Data Grid created in HFM and then publish that as a PDF. I found the Reporting feature in Manage Documents that uses system reports.
    And if I want a report from a data grid the Data Explorer option has to be selected for Report Type.But in this case I guess I need to create a Report Definition File and then upload it which seems to be complex.
    But am not able to figure out how I can directly take a HFM Data Grid as the source and generate a PDF Report out of it.
    Can this be done using BI Publisher? If so can anyone please provide the steps?
    Or, can it be done using the Financial Reporting Studio ?
    I sincerely appreciate any help!
    Thanks in advance!

  • Aging report from a different base date

    Hi,
    There is a requirement in Aging report. The report should show the the 30, 30-60, 60-90 etc with a different base date/(reference date (OPEN DATE) in stead of the current date. In this case current date should be shown as RUNDATE and there should be one more date field as OPEN DATE  in the page footer.
    Please help me to solve this. Thanks in advance.
    BABASHARI

    Add a parameter for the date that you want to age by.  Use the datediff() function to determine the age of each item in a formula field that uses that age to group items by the range of dates desired (basic syntax):
    dim days as number
    days = datediff("d",{due date}, {?date parameter})
    if days < 31
      formula = "  0 to  30"
    elseif days < 61
      formula = " 31 to  60"
    elseif days < 91
      formula = " 61 to  90"
    elseif days < 121
      formula = " 91 to 120"
    else
      formula = "Over 120"

  • Detailed Aging Report from SAP B1 v2007A

    Hello all,
    I have SAP Business One v 2007 A in my company. The auditors are coming in next week and I was trying to get the Aging report for both vendor and customer. The default summary looks good. To get the details, I have to go into each customer/vendor and collect them. Is there a way to get all the details in one shot (like an executing an SQL)?
    Thank you all so much.
    Manoj.

    Hello Manoj - maybe try this since it uses the actual General Journal entries found in the JDT1 table.  PS - I have no idea why it does not show the NOT EQUAL characters of < and > in the last CASE.  The CASE calculation should be the same in all instances - make sure you add that before running. I used the appropriate coding for the SQL - something about SAP forums!!!
    For Vendors, just change the CardType to S in the WHERE clause, the Transtype, and change the column headings to what you want them to say.
    Hope this helps...

  • Call report from transaction

    hi,
    what is the syntax call a report from a  transaction

    There are different types based on ur functionality.
    Call transaction 'T.code' using bdcdata mode 'N' update'S' into massages 'Messtab'.
    Call transaction 'T.code' and skip first screen.
    create a pgm in se38.
    This transaction name is created in se93 ,where u will give ur pgm name and create a new trans name.
    If you are asking about calling a report from a specific transaction (for eg.:specific industry solutions)
    its usually done by creating a method in a BOR object.
    u will code this call transaction statement inside this method.
    for eg.
    Include <object> this is an object in BOR.
    Begin_method.
    DATA
    call transaction ' xyz' .
    end method.

  • Online report from archived data

    We have  Ztables as it contains a lot of transactional data growing very fast. hence we are planning to archive this ZTABLES using archiving objects.
    but once data is archived we might need to run reports at a later time(a online report ) and still need this data. How can we achive this?
    can i have details about the stratergy discussed it anyone tried the same?
    or is there some other way? we need to  reduce the data in ZTABLES for sure as it will be performance issue. can someone advice the best stratergy 4 the same?

    Hello.
    When you create an archiving object, you can assign it to an archive infostructure. This is a table that contains some of the fields of the table that you will archive and speeds up the access to archived objects (works like an index).
    Check in tcode SARI-Customizing-Create. After creating must activate.
    Then, will be created a table ZARIX... where you can see data in se16 like a normal database table.
    Example:
    Archive Object: SD_VBRK
    Archive Infosctrucure: SAP_SD_VBRK_002
    Table created: ZARIXSD3 (in my system).
    * Acess archive data
    SELECT SINGLE gentab FROM aind_str2
      INTO (w_gentab)
    WHERE archindex EQ 'SAP_SD_VBRK_002'
       AND active EQ 'X'.
