Area not visible for Trex searching
Dear Friends,
In SAP DMS, there is a standard provision for Trex searching, we have to install trex server, search engine and configure it. In my development box, I m not able to see tab Text search within original in cv04n. What to do for this?

First you check whehter the installation of Trex server is done without any errors & also check the configuration related with Trex connection.
If all these things are correct then you have to check for SAP note if any.

All the pricing conditions are not visible for a given sales area, material
Hello All,
There is a customized screen with sales area(Sales org, distribution channel and division), material and sold to party. There is buttton when we click it has to display the pricing conditions. The problem here is it is not displaying all the conditions some conditions like ZB02 and MWST are missing. The Function module used is PRICING.
Whereas in VA03 tranaction for a sales order created with this sales area, material it is showing all the conditions for a item.
Please help me to solve this issue.

The BP's created for one particular sales area are not getting replicated into CRM, though before sometime it was happening.

The BP with the "general data", and "role of sold to party" only flows but not with the sales area. There is no BDoc error in the SMW01 either. While displaying BP for the role of sold to party, it shows "Sold-to-party(maintained)" but the sales area entries though maintained for this sales area in the ECC, do not flow to the CRM.
DJ>> Please check the following -
1. Create a BP in CRM (with the sold-to party role) with the required Sales area and see if this customer when replicated to ECC has the relevant Sales Area. Ideally it should get replicated if all you middleware settings are fine.
2. See you have not set a filter for a specific Sales Area and becuase of that BP is getting replicate but not the sales area.

Hi Friends,
We are on EREC standalone model. Initial data transfer between HR to EREC master data using PFAL is done.
All employees have got NA, CP, US, BP in HRP 1001 in EREC system.
Change pointers are also activated in HCM system, now current master data changes are also in reflecting in EREC system thro IDOC posting.
But when recruiter logs into portal and does a candidate search, no internal candidates are appearing ?
1) What needs to be done for internal candidates to visible during candidate search ?
2) Also while logged as internal candidate, released requisitions are not visible for internal candidates while they try to search for internal job postings ?
Kindly provide your inputs.

Follow-on documents are not visible in MIRO in TEST server, awsys = PRD300.

The Test Server was refreshed around mid-June 2011 with data of
Production Server. The follow-on documents are not visible for the
invoice documents in MIRO in TEST server due to value in tables
BKPF,RBKP : field : AWSYS = PRD300 .
The newly created Purchase Orders after the refresh, the accounting
documents can be seen for the Goods Receipt (MIGO_GR-display) and
Invoice documents (MIRO).
we had already raised this issue in March & got the feedback from SAP
as shown below.
accordingly we have developed & run the program "zzlogsys2" which
updates the Logsys/Awsys field from PRD300 ( of production server ) to
that of the current server i.e. TST300 as required.
after which the FI documents for the material documents are visible in
MIGO,but follow-on documents are not visible for the invoice documents
in MIRO.
we have Checked notes 781498 and 28958 to see if the logical system is
correctly assigned , where we found that in table RBKP after entering document number, Fiscal Year , the
Field AWSYS is "PRD300" & not "TST300" as it should be. We will take up the activity of updating table RBKP
also as we are currently doing for tables MKPF & BKPF.
But to have clear picture as to what we are doing is correct , pl
advise about the following :
1) Is it a correct process done by our SAP-Basis team , that every time
any Server ( e.g. Test or Quality ) is refreshed with Production server
data, the Field AWSYS in various transaction tables gets value as
"PRD300" which then is required to replaced by running program such as
ZZlogsys.
REPORT ZZLOGSYS.
TABLES: T000, MKPF.
DATA: NEW_SYS LIKE MKPF-AWSYS.
PARAMETER: OLD_SYS LIKE MKPF-AWSYS.
SELECT SINGLE * FROM T000 WHERE MANDT EQ SY-MANDT.
NEW_SYS = T000-LOGSYS.
CHECK NOT NEW_SYS IS INITIAL.
UPDATE MKPF SET AWSYS = NEW_SYS
WHERE AWSYS = OLD_SYS.
WRITE:/ 'Number of updates: ', SY-DBCNT.
2) if the above process is correct & normal , then which are the other
tables in a particular server ,apart from tables MKPF,BKPF,RBKP , which
needs to be updated the value of field "AWSYS" in the same way
replacing value "PRD300".
3) if the process in point no. 1 is not correct , then what is the
correct process that the Basis team can do while refreshing any target
server with production data so that target server retains its value in
Field AWSYS & not showing "PRD300".
With 3 servers TEST,DEV & Quality , recently refreshed with production
server to bring all servers in Sync for a HR patch application, we have
this situation now in all 3 servers .

Components are not visible in personalization
Hi,
In iSupplier Portal, some page components are not visible for buyer address book. (Stack Layout: addressCreateUpdateStack) I even tried to change context, they are still not visible. How I can solve this issue?
Btw, the personalizations are just enable for a standart user. Can this cause the problem?

After BI 7.0 Upgrade, Authorization Roles and profiles are not visible
Hi Gurus,
We have an issue with authorization roles and profiles are not visible for all end users with new Bex Analyzer (BI 7.0) tool. But still they can see these roles with old Bex Analyzer ( Bex 3.5) tool.
As a developer I have SAP_ALL acces and I can see all authorization roles in new BEx Analyzer (BI 7.0).
I verified in SU01 for user access and every are assigned there roles and they are green.
Do we need to add any new authorization object to fix this issue, please let me know

I cannot see the tabs on my WBS. They have all disappeared. How can I make them visible? Only the dates tab is visible. All other tabs are not visible i.e Basic Data any idea why these are not visible for this project profile?

In this work step you define your own view of the detail screens. In the standard system every detail screen is on its own tab page.

We have upgraged Portal (Nw 2004s) SP17 to SP18 ,But after upgradation portal roles are not visible for users and Portal adminstors (J2EE_ADMIN ) also.
Standard roles like System ,user and Content Admin roles also not visible.It shows only blank screen after login to portal.
It is critial issue .Please suggest how to solve this issue.

Srikanth MMake sure there are no errors in the browser in the bottom left hand corner. Also, are you using a fully wualified name to access the portal? When you were on SP17 were you using standard roles or did you make your own copy of the roles and assign your users to the copied roles?
If you navigate to the portal content studio directly, can you see the role contents?
After launching /useradmin and authenticating, paste http://host:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtmode/preview/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fadministrator!2fcontent_admin!2fcontent_admin_role!2fcom.sap.portal.content_admin_ws!2fcom.sap.portal.portal_content?sap-config-mode=true into your browser and you are in the content studio. -
I have just rented two movies and after download they are not visible anywhere for me to view. Usually in the iTunes menu there is an option call 'rentals' where rented movies sit until they expire, this is no longer visible. The movie files are listed in the finder under music/movies.... With the rest of my iTunes data, but they will not play in iTunes from there and I can't add them to my library for watching.

Under your Library list, you should see "Movies". Click on that, and you will see a screen with several tabs at the top - Rentals, Unwatched, Movies, Genres, Home Videos, etc.
As Hackintosh indicated above, click on the Rentals tab, and your movies will be displayed there. Doulbe click on one to start playing it.
If you do not have your sidebar showing, go up to View at the top, and click on Show Sidebar. Then you will see your Library lists on the sidebar, which will include Movies.

Documents are not visible with layoutset AppBulletinBoardExplorer
Hi experts,
I created a km navigation iview with layoutset AppBulletinBoardExplorer. I created a new networklocation on my PC to the portal repository and upload a lot of documents (becasue a multiple upload from the portal is not possible). The documents are not visible in the iview. When Is change the layout set to ConsumerExplorer the documents are visible. A reboot did not help. If the documents are saved from the portal again, they are visible. Another layoutset or to upload file by file is also not an option.
How to solve this problem? .

1. Have you tried mass upload via explorer into one KM folder then move the documents you uploaded into another area using the standard UI?
I have moved the content via KM content option, but problem still exist.
2. Have you checked the trace files on the portal to see if there is some error being logged that is not showing in the UI, but might give you a clue as to what is going on?
In the log there is a warning: user | ACCESS.ERROR"| /KM path | node_create_child. Everyone has read permissions.
3. Have you raised an support message with SAP?

4. Have you tried using the Portal Drive rather then just windows explorer? (probably won't make a different as I think it uses webdav anyway)
With the portal drive the same issue :-(.
It's something with the layoutset in combination with upload via webdav or explore. The documents are also available with a search

Services for object box not visible for some users
Dear All,
PM module experts please help. In equipment master transaction IE02 in left hand top corner we get box for SERVICES FOR OBJECT which is useful for attaching external documents like word and excel. but problem is it is not visible for some users. Our security/authorisation team has also done some check but didn't get any solution.
anybody knows the reason why there is no box availabe?

Due to an error in the coding, it was possible to link a Word document to a Document in IE01. Because the data cannot be saved in transaction IE01, the linked document is lost after leaving the transaction.

BPM worklist app views are not visible in IPM task viewer

we upgraded our system from 11.1.1.3.0 to
weblogic 10.3.5.0
SOA 11.1.1.5.0 with BPEL processes
ECM with IPM and UCM 11.1.1.5.0
after upgrade i have problem with profiles in IPM task viewer page. Views are created in BPM worklistapp and all users can see tasks assigned to them there. But those views are not visible in IPM task viewer page (i tried it using driver page). Because of missing profiles/views users can't see and process tasks assigned to them. In log files isn't raised any error message.
Everything was working before upgrade. Can someone help me with this? What can i have wrong there?

There are basically two ways to create an ADF UI for a BPM Task:
1. Generate it from the task
2. Create a ADF Taskflow based on Human Workflow Task
Since I tell this by heart, I might be slightly wrong in the terms.
You probably want to try the second option. It is accessible from the "New Gallery". You'll have to provide the Human Task from the BPM project, but then you can build up the ADF Taskflow by your self, based on the customizations of the rest of your application.
Should not be rocket science for someone with ADF11g experience. Since it is not my dayly job, I need to figure it out every time again ;). But I did it in the past and it wasn't so hard.

Click on RuleSet which you have created.
Expand Rule inside it.
Enable Advanced mode and Tree mode and click OK.
Select Root as Task and click on insert pattren and create pattren which is based on unbounded element (here its meant as fact)
Once you create pattren , will be able access elements under unbounded element for Business rule configuration. -
Following Media Files Are Not Optimized For Final Cut Pro
I'm sure you've seen this before and I've tried to search for a thread on it here and fell asleep, so sorry if this is a repeat.
I have edited projects in Premiere Pro (on my PC) and I have tried to transfer them in FCP. It worked with the exception of two things:
1. the error message, "Following Media Files Are Not Optimized For Final Cut Pro"
2. the quality *****! watching it on the playback in FCP it looks great, but then when I burn it to Disc it's pixelated in spots and generally has a lower quality picture.
I know that it's Standard Def. and can't expect the best, but I've done it before (once or twice) and it didn't seem this bad.
Can someone suggest anything to help the quality? Should I run my AVIs through MPEG Steamclip to make it a QT file and if so what is the best format in that since there are many to choose from and most I'm not familiar with?

CraytonI did compress them to DV NTSC then burned it to DVD and the result was no bueno.
I thought what I would do is try compressing them again before I send them on over to DVDSPRO. Here is a simplified break down of the situation:
- I have edited the raw footage in Premiere Pro on my PC. They were recorded and captured as SD.
- I rendered them in Premiere, then transfered the rendered AVI file to FCP.
- When went to place the files in FCP, I received the warning message; "Following Media Files Are Not Optimized For Final Cut Pro" but I went forward anyways and it allowed me to do so.
- Originally I went ahead and compressed them from FCP to QT Movie as a DV NTSC, which ended up poorly.
- Therefore my question is, should I compress them using another file type (other then DV NTSC)? Which leads me to another program that I have called MPEG Streamclip, which offers tons of file types of which I am unfamiliar with most. I want the best quality of course but don't know what file type is the highest going from AVI to a format that can be accepted by FCP and ultimately DVDSPRO. Keeping in mind that I only have FCP5 and do not have Prores.
Did that make sense?

Hello everyone, After searching the forum, i've been able to exit my web dynpro application and close the browser window (using outbound plug of type 1 from window). My problem is that if i open a new browser window and call my app url again, the sys
