Arrow and Color

I have two questions,
I am using Feedburner so this may not be the best place to ask the question, but I'll give it a try and see if anyone knows the answer.
First, when I click on the arrow just next to the "Get All" button in the Itunes stores on my page, the arrow takes me to my website where the audio files are kept. The URL is

And secondly, how do I change my background color from blue to black? I assume that is a Feedburner question though.

I don't see any 'Get All' button in the actual Store page, only in iTunes when you subscribe, and this works asa expected - it downloads all the episodes. The Store page has the usual links in the top right-hand corner, the top one being 'Website' which leads to your website. Everything appears to be working exactly as it should.
As to the page colour, this is set by iTunes and is always the same on individual podcasts. It's possible that some corporate podcasts manage to change the background, but I don't know how they do this: it may be something to do with the 'Artist Page' - go to

and scroll down to the bottom item for information.

Changing Arrows and Color of a JScrollBar inside of a JScrollPane

Hi. I can't believe this hasn't been asked and answered before but I can't find it in these forums if it has.
I am trying to create a JScrollPane in a touchscreen based application - no mouse... The default scrollbar
in my JScrollPane is too small for large fingers. I have successfully increased the size of the scrollbar
to a usable size using: UIManager.put("scrollbar.width", 75).
My next problem is two-fold.
1) The arrows at top and bottom of the scrollbar are now heavily pixelated (i.e. jagged and blocky) and
look like we zoomed in too much on a bitmap. How can I change these arrows to a graphic that is
more related to the current size of my scrollbar?
2) The color of the scrollbar is shades of 'baby blue'. My color scheme for my application is shades of
beige or brown. This makes the scrollbar stand out like a sore thumb. How can I change the color
of the scrollbar?
Note: This is being coded in NetBeans 6.7.1 but I can't find any property in the visual editor that covers
my problems.
Also, I came across the UIManager.put("scrollbar.width", xx) from googling. Is there an official (complete)
list of the properties available to the UIManager?

To help out anyone who has been struggling with this as I have, here is the final solution we were able to use. We only needed to work with the vertical scroll bar, but it should be easy to work with now that a better part of the work is done. I do hope this is helpful.

IE8 - Underline and color disappear when clicking back arrow on links or colors incorrect

I understand my heading may sound confusing. I have an issue which I cant seem to figure out with the help of a friend as well.
1) I have to clear out the cashe or select "delete browsing history" and then refresh to get the page to look right (the links to be blue with an underline underneath the word) - it shows up Black.
2) When I refresh the page and colors are correct, I click on the link such as on the "PRINT" page on the word "HERE" it goes to the next page. Then I click the back arrow and now the word is black and the underline is missing? It is suppose to return to the same color (blue) with an underline underneath the word.
The same issue is when you click on: "Portfolio" then go to "Web" then click on the second webpage on the slider - images (VYTEK website). I am having the same problems with the links ("NEXT WEBPAGE", "PREVIOUS WEBPAGE" and the "HERE"). It looks fine at first, click on the link and click the back arrow, now the links are black and the underline is gone?

CSS Pseudo Classes (link states). There are 6 links states.
a (rules for all links)
a:link (unvisted link)
a:visited (visited link)
a:hover (on mouse over)
a:active (on click)
a:focus (on tab key or on click in IE)
If you define a rule for a:visited, you'll get better results when you hit the browser's back button.

Acrobat pro: how set default properties for arrow and line tool seperately?

I have a problem with the 'comment and markup' tools in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
I would like to change the defaults of some of the tools, eg the arrow and the line tool.
This can be achieved by right-clicking on something drawn using the tool in question and then selecting 'properties' - or by selecting the tool and then press ctrl+E, wich opens a 'Callout Tool Properties', and then change what you want there. The latter option keeps the changes as defaults - the former offers a box to tick in the 'properties' dialogue that opens - or, you can right-click on the object again after having changed the properties, and then select 'Make Current Properties Default'.
My Problem is now, that, apparently, you cannot choose and save default properties freely and for each tool. I woul like to have the default properties for the line tool set as the following:
-line color: yellow
-line thickness: 8pt
-opacity: 60%
and fot the arrow tool as this:
-line color: red
-line thickness: 1pt
-opacity: 100%
This all works fine as long as the program is open. As soon as I exit and start it again opening another document /the same one again, the arrow tool changes to
-line color: yellow
-opacity: 60%
only the line thickness remains at 1pt.
If I change the properties of the line to the ones I want for the arrow, the arrow properties remain unaltered if I close Acrobat Pro.
Why do these properties interfere? Why is it "line color/thickness" in both? Why, then, do only the opacity and the color interfere, but not the thickness - even if it's the latter two properties that are bot called "line xxx"? Why does Acrobat not save all properties for these two shapes seperately - even IF the two shapes are both of a line-like kind?
Is there a way to get around this?

Trobbel - This indeed is puzzling behavior. Clicking 'Make Current Properties Default' should preserve the default appearance for each. I don't have a solution, but merely a couple of suggestions:
1) Make sure you have installed any available upgrade for your version of Acrobat Professional.
2) Consider using the line tool exclusively - you can add an arrowhead and make one tool perform both tasks.

Navigate to the Navigation panel of the selected Theme and make the width as 0px 0px 0px and also upload the blank image with the same background color.

Restart the computer and immediately hold the option key down.
If the computer boots and you see two hard drive icons, use the arrow key to select the Recovery drive, and press Return.
You will get to a screen that looks like the image here:

Select the fourth item and press Return.
In Disk Utility, select the hard drive in the left column, then First Aid, then click on Repair Disk.
When that is done, quit DU and restart the computer.

How do I change font and colors back to default?

I have changed the font and color of the text through the tools button and the options button and the content tab. I find nothing telling me how to change the font and colors back to default font and colors. Can you advise me? I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Thanks.

Unfortunately for the default colors has no good reference. But for text it is black (most lower left) color, background is white (most upper left color). Unvisited links is blue (column 8, row 5) and visited link is purple (column 9, row 5).

Problem with adjusting both transparency and color of an object

I am writing a program where when an object is picked, both it's transparency and color will be altered (the object will become opaque, and its color will turn to a predefined "selected" color), while the previously selected object will return to its original transparency and color. I am able to get this to work, except that objects that were picked two or more picks ago will remain in the selected color, albeit in their original transparency. This problem only seems to occur when transparency is factored in. The picking/color & transparency altering code is as follows.

A Behavior is the preferred way to make changes in a scenegraph. Here is an example from a previous post that changes the appearance of a shape when it collides with another shape.
The javadoc for javax.media.j3d.Behavior appears to refer to the issue you have.
Transparencies are confusing, different display adapters deal with them differently. Suggest you search the forum at

For the "Arangements" option to appear, the external display must be turned on with the correct input selected and connected to the computer. Then close system prefs, reopen, go to "Display" and "Arrangement" will be along the top.

I would like to print links as regular text i.e. not underlined or in a different font and color.

I have created a page with my resumé, using Dreamweaver CS4 on my iMac (running OS X 10.6.6). You can see the page here: http://www.peterforkes.com/Resume.html
It looks great when it is on the screen, but when I print it I would like the links to not be underlined and also to be displayed in the same font (and color) of the text surrounding it (a link is largely useless on a piece of paper, if it it not showing the URL).
So, I created a stylesheet called "print.css" and have this in it:

In my html document (Resume.html) I have this code, at the top:

Now, things such as the graphics in my document do not print out (this is how I want it) but links seesm to be doing unexpected things for me. As I mentioned, when I print the page I would like them to:
a) not print with an underline (which I would expect the code snippet shown above to do).
b) I would like the link color to be the same as the surrounding text (I have links in several places, such as in <h2>, <h3> and <p>).
c) I would like the link to have the same font and text size as the surrounding text.
Any help is always appreciated.

You've solved it for a:link but you may print the page with the <a> tag in link or visited state so you need to cover both.

Looks like you didn't get a reply on your post, but it is still a problem. Font size is supposedly changeable via "Accessibility" in Settings, but it doesn't work. You can turn on "Zoom".

Vista 64 bit and CS4 and color management

This is a question about Vista 64 bit and CS4 and color management. I scan 4x5 film and sometimes end up with up to or even bigger than 1 GB files. Obviously that needs as much memory as possible. Windows XP is limited in this regard and I am in the market for a new speedy computer which won't force me to stay at a snail's pace. In this month's Shutterbug, David Brooks in his Q&A column says to avoid Vista for color management reasons, but offers no explanation or support for his opinion. He implies one should wait for Windows 7 for some unstated reason. With a calibrated monitor and printer and Photoshop controlling color files sent to the printer, why would Vista be any different or worse than XP? Is he on to something or just pontificating? Does anyone know any reliable info about Windows 7 that would make it worth waiting for?

I will agree that there is a definite performance advantage when using PS CS4 (64-bit) on Vista 64, which I've experienced, especially when working very large compositions.
My initial recommendation to the OP to use Mac was based upon reading those articles about bad color management. As I stated before, I have never experienced that problem, and clearly the views of all that have posted here so far indicate that the problem may not be a real issue. (Perhaps this David Brooks fellow and Steve Upton both like to mess with their computers and broke something in Windows?)
