  • Envy 23 IPS LED Monitor - E1K96AA#ABA - Won't dislpay

I'm having a problem with my 2 month onld Envy 23 IPS LED monitor.   It won't dispaly.  The power does turn on.  Occasionally it will display a small area at the top indicating it's searching for a signal on HDMI1, HDMI2 or VGA.   Plugging in either HDMI1 or VGA with different computers and cables does not result in an image display.  Occasionally on boot up of a PC plugged into the Monitor there wll be a brief flash of the PC screen image before it goes dark again.  The monitor seems to detect a PC connection because it will go to sleep after you turn off the PC.
I know it's not the PC because I have tried multiple and they all work with other monitors.  I've also tried different cables with work with other monitors.
Occasionally I'm able to get the monitor menu up but not always.  Often pressing the menu or input buttons will not result in any display.  I was able to get the menu up one time and select the factory rest but this did not change the behavior.
The last time I was able to get the monitor to work I noticed the left size of the screen was very dim while the right side was brighter and I could see images on the screen - almost like the light on the left side was off.
This seems like a loose connection somewhere internal to the monitor.
I am just checking to see if anyone else has seen this behavior or has other suggestions?
If not I'll send it to HP support.  But when I try to get support for this Monitor all of the product links the HP Support web site result in broken links with Server Not Found errors.  So next attempt is to call HP support but that number is hard to find.   If anyone has it please let me know.
    Regards,
    TW

  • OutLineLoad batch processing.

    Hi forum,
I'm super new here. As a matter of fact this is my fist post so I hope it goes all well.
I'm trying to load several oultine txt files to planning. I created a java program that exeutes the following iterating over files array ->the list of my txt files.:
    OutLineLoad -f:e:/pswdfile.txt /A:BCPS_PLN /U:admin /M /TR /D:\Budget Item\ /I:e:\\DataFiles\\Central\\ files(i) /L:e:/outlineload.log /X:e:/Outlineload.exc;
Once the execution is done I check the logs and I get 3 different scenarios:
1)The fist one looks all good :)

2)The second one throws ObjectIsLockedException but looks like it tries again, unlocks the dimension and successfully load data as expected

Successfully logged into "BCPS_PLN" application, Release 11.120, Adapter Interface Version 5, Workforce supported and not enabled, CapEx not supported and not enabled, CSS Version 3
Is there any logical explanation for this behavior? Is there any better way for loading a batch of txt files other than with my java program?

The first question is if you execute them manually so when one completes the other one runs does it work, I suspect it would.
The error message "Unable to obtain dimension information and/or perform a data load: com.hyperion.planning.ObjectIsLockedException: The object Budget Item is locked by another user."
Usually means that planning has locked the dimension as it is still running a dimension load or that planning has crashed while performing a dimension load.
    Cheers

Any idea as to where this is comming from?
    Thanks,
    Mike

rpm-org need lua and then beecrypt to work. I could pacman lua but the other bit needed to be taken in as a tarball. I had to do that "tar -xvzf beecrypt" then entered beecrypt and ran makepkg. Bunch of words, then I got a "beecrypt-4.2.1-2-i686.pkg.tar.xz" file. I turned into the super user and did "pacman -U beecrypt-4.2.1-2-i686.pkg.tar.xz" which installed the program.I did the same process for rpm-org. This is the correct way to do these things right? As I was unable to do the process directly with rpm-org since it was requiring dependencies and I should not assume super user to install programs outside of a pacman call?
mcmillan wrote:And once you have figured out how to use the AUR, I think you should look to install one of the oracle-xe packages, rather than rpm as in that link, unless karol had a specific reason to suggest installing rpm-org. I have a feeling that mixing package managers like that is likely to end up causing more problems.
Ok, so now that I have the ability to actually open this, oracle-xe-10.2.0.1-1.0.i386.rpm, file. You are saying that doing it this way could be bad for the system and I should just use the package build from AUR? How is it bad for the system? Does it merely make it so that pacman cannot uninstall the software.
Also, I can delete the stuff I independently downloaded the,*.pkg.tar.xz files and the *.tar.xz files, without effecting the running installs?

  • Serious HttpClusterServlet problem

    Hi all,
I have come across yet one more cluster problem.
Here is as precise description as I can come up with; we are running
              WebLogic 5.1 SP6 on Solaris.
              Architecture
Weblogic server (A) running as proxy to a cluster (configured with
              HttpClusterServlet) and
2 Weblogic servers (B & C) running in cluster, the app is protected -
              sign-on required.
              Scenario:
All 3 server are up and running.
              1) A client connects via proxy to server B, is authenticated and logged
              in. Session is established.
              2) Client interacts with server B, session gets populated with some
              basic objects.
              3) Server B is killed.
              4) Client attempts to send a request to server B. Problem #1 - Even
though this request from browser gets
to the proxy and the browser's status says "receiving data from
...", nothing gets propagated to server C.
Now the user clicks Stop button on the browser and sees "Transfer
interrupted..." page generated by the browser.
Client hits back button, the previous page gets loaded fine. Now the
client attempts to send the same request
again and this time it gets through the proxy to the server C which
has a replicated session. Things are fine but
this initial failure troublesme as it happens ALL the time when
scenario is repeated. If the user does not hit the
stop button, "document conainted no data...." dialog is poped-up by
              the browser eventualy.
              5. Client interacts with the server C now for a while.
              6. Browser is killed (normal exit, shutdown will do too) when there is
              no activity.
              7. Browser is restarted and the user attempts to go to the root URL of
              the app.
Now things go NUTS. The proxy server goes crazy, spitting out tons of
              messages and exceptions, including
              division by zero attempted .
In addition to the proxy server spitting out all of that info, during
several attempts to duplicate this I also
had the clustered server C go nuts in parallel with the proxy as
              well.
These is unrecoverable situation, it is necessary to kill both the
proxy and the clustered server in order to stop the
              madness.
I realize there was some fix to infinite loop problem in
HttpClusterServlet in SP6 but I am using SP6 and it doesn't help.
Here is a compilation of both the messages from the weblogic.log and
              stdout:
Notice that up until 14:53:45 the Broken Pipe messages were <I> - info
              but
at 14:54:14 they all become <E> - Errors
How is this for a bug????
              -Andrew

              >
              >

While you are free to do what you want - it is strongly recommended that you do not use a referenced library (Do Not uncheck the preference to "copy imported items to the iPhoto lbrary")  If creates problems, saves no space and sets up for futrue nighemares
You final conclusion is the correct one - FOR YOU - if you want destructive editing rather than the lossless editing that iPhoto provides then simply do not use iPhoto

O Firefox no Android fecha do nada. O jeito é tentar aprender a gosta do Chrome no PC.

Será algo no registro do Windows?
