AS2: Synchronous MDN request but no synchronous interface possible?

Hello,
in our AS2 scenario with the Seeburger Adapter we request the MDN synchronously and we also would like to use a synchronous interface for this.
But obvisouly this is not possible as you have to create a separate sender communication channel for reports and a sender agreement (where I have to use an outbound or abs interface).
Is there really no way to use a synchronous interface for that scenario as we need to get the response back synchronously for handling in integration server.

So basically my idea was to use a synchronous send step in the integration process and then call a proxy when we have received the MDN.
Even when you use sync MDN with report protocol, you can send message to Integration Engine and process further. You should be able to use this message in BPM also and then it could be sent to receiver proxy.
the SAP sender wants to be notified in case there was a transmission problem and this can only be handled automatically with a synchronous interface.
If you are already using BPM in your scenario, then use of sync scenario is no longer a limitation. You can try correlating the MDN with the AS2 request message.

Seeburger AS2 Adapter: "MDN not signed"

Dear all,
we just updated our test system from XI 3.0 to PI 7.1. Now we are facing a problem with our Seeburger AS2 Adapter.
I sent out a message via AS2 and get the follwing error message in Seeburger AS2 Monitor:
"MDN not signed"
In the Receiver Communication Channel I checked the Option "Sign MDN". In XI 3.0 this Scenario was working perfectly. So I contacted our communication partner and asked them if our AS2 message really contained a request for a signed MDN. Our commnucation partner confirmed and sent the MDN as text file to me. This text file shows that the MDN is signed. So it seems that the Seeburger AS2 adapter does not notice that the received MDN is a signed one. But why? Do you have an idea?
Just for testing purposes I unchecked the "Signe MDN" option. In this case the transmission finished successfully.

Currently we have this situation:
When I send out a message the Seeburge Workbench provides only the following error message:
"MDN not signed"
Via the Recovery Monitor I can check the received MDN. Here I can see that the MDN is signed and positive.
In the Runtime Workbench I checked the following:
1. In the Message Monitor (Adapter engine) the message is in status "System Error". Here are the details:
Message could not be forwarded to the JCA adapter. Reason: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: SEEBURGER AS2: Negative synchron MDN received., SEEBURGER AS2: Negative synchron MDN received.
Adapter Framework caught exception: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: SEEBURGER AS2: Negative synchron MDN received., SEEBURGER AS2: Negative synchron MDN received.
Delivering the message to the application using connection AS2_http://seeburger.com/xi failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: SEEBURGER AS2: Negative synchron MDN received., SEEBURGER AS2: Negative synchron MDN received..
2. The Communication Channel Monitor shows the following error messages:
Error type: REPORT_ERROR >> Error date: 12/14/10 12:02 PM >> Description: MDN not signed [12/14/10 12:02 PM]
Message processing failed. Cause: javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: SEEBURGER AS2: Negative synchron MDN received., SEEBURGER AS2: Negative synchron MDN received.
I do not understand why the MDN is recognized as negative and unsigned even if the plain text version of the MDN shows that it is signed and positive.
In your article you recommend to create a sender communication channel for MDN and a corresponding sender agreement. We already did that in XI 3.0 to forward the MDN as STATUS IDOC to SAP ECC.
Maybe you have an additional idea?

AS2 asnyc MDN not working

Hi,
I have setup my config in SeeBurger AS2 adapter in SAP PI 7.11 to send a file to our trading partner via AS2-HTTPS with async MDN requested. I got the an error in seeburger message monitoring : "Sent AS2 message successfully to partner - waiting now for asynchrone MDN"
We are still not able to received the async MDN from our partner. Wonder if anyone of here had encountered similar problem before? Please share your experience.
My config:
1. HTTPS-AS2
2. Signed Msg
3. Encrypted Msg
4. Request async MDN (Not signed) by provided our HTTPS AS2 URL in receipt delivery address, no MDN time out.
5. Create virtual sender aggrement for MDN report with accepting same message title with AS2 receiver aggrement message titile.
*Tested the same receiver agreement config with No MDN and Synchronous MDN. All successfully.

We are also facing the same problem. But I want to tell you few points which you need to make sure....
virtual party and communication component that you've used in Sender agreement of Reports channel shouldbe same as that of party & component used in Header mapping of actual receiver agreement. And, there should not be more than two sender agreements for MDN reports channel for same set of sender and receiver party.
One request from my side is... please let me know if your issue got resolved so that it'll be helpful for me too.

RRoCE v2.0 mode was requested, but it is not supported.

Customer is using N5k, connecting W2012 R2 host, as well as a W2012 R2 host acting as a SMB3 fileserver.
They use RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), and receive the following error message

what is the difference between static synchronized methods and non-static synchronized methods as far as the behavior of the threads is concerned? if a thread is in static synchronized method can another thread access simple (ie. non static) synchronized methods?

MessageID of sent EDI/AS2 for MDN

Hi,
How can I verify that the MDN received is of which message. Eg: I send 3 EDI/AS2 messages and receive 2 MDNs. How can I verify that which 2 are successful.
I saw on MSDN
that
The sender of the original message verifies this by comparing the MessageID of the original sent message with the original-message-id field that the receiver included in the MDN.
But from where can I get the MessageID of the sent message? I assume once I get this I have to compare this with the
Original-Message-ID of the received MDN.

One possibility, is a strange occurence when applying the big 10.5.8 combo, most people have to Repair Permissions twice in a row, then reboot.

Itunes opens with Just Text but no grapic interface

I open Itunes and it opens with No GUI jus tthe text .. song names and the text menu bar but no grpahical interface.. its like it is invisable... any ideas please le tme know if you need more info

First call attempt fails with 12000; reason="Routes available for this request but no available gateway at this point"

We've installed a new Audiocodes Mediant 1000B gateway for our customer. They only have about 6 users enabled for Enterprise voice and using Lync for all calls. They have an intermittent problem whereby the first call attempt to a number on the
PSTN fails with 12000; reason="Routes available for this request but no available gateway at this point". There is only one PSTN gateway installed. All routes point to this gateway. What I found initially is that the calls
were failing after 10 seconds which is the default "failovertimeout" in the OutboundRouting.exe.config. I found this post http://voipnorm.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/lync-2010-gateway-timeout-call-failures.html and
changed the value to 20 seconds. Subsequent failures failed after 20 seconds (the new value). The interesting thing is that the second attempt even a couple of seconds later succeeds. My Lync server event log has 46046 "A call to a PSTN
number failed due to non availability of gateways." for the failed call and 46047 "A PBX gateway is now responding to requests after some failures." for the successful call moments later.
My environment is Lync 2010. A single enterprise edition Front End with collocated mediation. The server is virtual and in a different physical location to the gateway. The two sites are connected via a LES1000. The RTT between the
sites is very low so it isn't necessarily networking.
In the Syslog output on the Audiocodes we don't see the call even reach the gateway. It's likely that Lync has simply marked the gateway as down and doesn't route the first call. Then it wakes up and marks it as up and routes the next call.
Update wise I'm on 4.0.7577.183, 199 and 217 for those that are up to date and the only components that are behind say that 223 is available. Those being Core Components, Lync Server, Conferencing Server and Web Components.
As I said, this is intermittent, apparently doesn't happen for every user (which I don't buy), but is easily replicated on request.
I definitely think changing the failovertimeout value has reduced the number of failures. But realistically I don't want users sitting there for 20 seconds before their call fails. Or 19 seconds for the call to route.
I've found a few posts on this and similar issues. I don't get the 25051 or 25052 errors.
Any help gratefully appreciated.

That means you had already done de-authorization once last Jun26. Please take note that you are only allowed to deauthorize all only once a year. Refer to this article:

I'm all new to using LabVIEW, which I have to use for a project. I'm trying to make a setup with a Keithley 2000 multimeter and an Agilent U2722A SMU. But I can't figure out how to get these instruments to communicate with LabVIEW. I can see and send commands to the Keithley 2000, but not the Agilent U2722A, with Agilent Connection Expert. But when I use LabVIEW I can't see any of them, and if I use the drivers I've found with "NI Instrument Driver Finder - Configure Search" I pops up with an error message saying
"Error -1073807195 occurred at VISA Open in Keithley 2000.lvlib:Initialize.vi->Keithley 2000 Read Multiple.vi?

VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF00A5) The interface type is valid, but the specified interface number is not configured.?"
I've read all the threads I could find about this problem, but none of them helped. I've checked that the NiVi488.dll is checked in MAX under the VISA options. When I open the VISA Interactive Control I see an ASRL1>>ASRL1::INSTR and ASRL10>>ASRL10::INSTR. I don't know why it says ASRL, when I'm using an USB/GPIB interface, but the Keithley 2000 have 10 as the address. (the Agilent U2722A is connected directly by USB)

I'm using the GPIB-USB-HS. I also used this on the development PC when I exported the hardware configuration.
This shows up in my MAX config and when I scan instruments, all of them show up. I can query them in MAX no problem.
