Assign initial values to starting task

Hi,
I have defined workflow, which starts when Goods receipt occurs. In my WF container I have an element with type ZMKPF, which stores values about GR. After the completion of GR, a number of agents receive work item with the proposal to post invoice.
If user clicks to this proposal, task with element ZBUS2081 and "create" method starts. Now I need to populate fields in starting TCODE MIRO with initial values. For example, I need to put DOC_DATE in zbus2081 from zmkpf. Is it possible? Is it right approach or I should look for enhancements not linked with workflow?

Hi, Рустем!
I suppose, there are both workflow-specific and MIRO-specific things to do to implement this requirement.
As I get it, your method CREATE looks something like this now:
CALL TRANSACTION 'MIRO'.
To pass defaults you might change it (or create another method) like this:
(1) get defaults from the workflow
(2) put defaults into memory or set\get parameters so that MIRO could use the values as defaults
CALL TRANSACTION 'MIRO'.
The first part is workflow-specific - you'll have to add some parameters to your BOR method to pass the values. Have a look at method BUS2081.CreateFromData as an example.
The second part is MIRO-specific, which is beyond this forum. Probably, this can help: Default Values In Miro Transaction. | SCN

  • How to assign default values to "Start task process" SPD2013 action

    I am creating a task in SPD 2013 list workflow using the "Start a task process" action. I have the ContentTypeId field set as i need to have some specific fields to be displayed in the task form.
    Is there anyway to assign values to these fields?. My goal here is to fetch some values from the "currentItem" fields and display in the Task form during the approval. So that the Approvar don't need to go and see the actual list item.

    Hi,
    If you would like to display fields about current item in Task form, please click
    these user in Workflow, and
    Start a Task Process dialog pops out. Then click Open editor for body >
    Add or Change Look up, then you could retrieve field data.

  • Assigning USER values in the task of workflow

    Hi Experts ,
    I am using the USER option in the task to sending workitem to the perticular user which i have given in the user option .
    I am doing this in development .
    When i will move my workflow to Production then if the user id which i have given in develpment will not be present in production then my workflow will not work there .
    And in production also we may not change the user id ,
    so is there any way through which we can able maintain the userid values in production .
    Note : I want to use the USER option in the task not through the expression option .
    thanks

  • How to send timer job email to "assigned to" feild value in a task list?

    Hi All,
    How to send timer job email  to "assigned to" field value in a task list if due date is after two days from now?

    Create a SharePoint Designer Workflow and use "pause until date" option when an new item is created/update.
    Using Server Object model, I believe you can create the timer job from item event receiver.

    Hello there,
    I'm facing a problem here that I'm not able to resolve it.
    This is the third time I reinstalled the WebLogic Sever (WebLogic Server Version: 10.3.5.0) and I'm getting the same error.

    The problem is when I create a WebService (with JDeveloper Studio 11.1.2.3.0). After deploying the WebService and restart WebLogic Server, the /em deployment can't start.

    When i checked the parameter file i can see the value assigned to the $DBConnection_OLAP. The same tasks ran successfully when i ran the ETL process for Complete 11.5.10 for the first time. I did not change anything after that and also all these are came built-in with the installation of Oracle BI Applications.
    Please anyone give me an idea what is causing the problem.
    Thanks,

    in DAC > Run History > Task Details, query
    Name = SDE_ORA_Product_Category_Temporary
    Open Status Description, look for string -lpf, the file after it is the actual parameter file DAC send to INFA server. E.g
    -lpf D:\DACTOPUS\Informatica\parameters\SDE_ORAR12_Adaptor.SDE_ORA_Product_Category_Temporary.txt
    Open the parameter file, most likely the [session_name] does not match with SDE_ORA_Product_Category_Derive_Full or some parameters are missing.

  • Specify duration for each assignment stage in an approval task - sharepoint designer workflow

    HI
    I am trying to create an approval workflow in sharepoint designer. How do I configure different duration for each participant in a approval task .?

    I had a similar issue. Best way I found was to go into the 'Before a Task is Assigned' of the task and then Set Task Field Due Date - to the date needed.  If you need to get into specific time of the day, it presents additional issues.  First the
    workflow doesn't have a 'current time' function.  If the task is being created at the start of the workflow, you can use Workflow Context Date/Time started and calculate from there.  If you are adding a task, or the
    task is occurring after a previous task, you can make a workflow field and on the 'When a Task Completes - assign it the value of Current Task Last Modified.  Also, it seems their is bug where it doesn't recognize the
    time-zone correctly when you update the Due Date in the workflow process.  So if you see unexpected results for the time in the duedate value, may have to adjust for however many number of hours your timezone is from GMT.

  • Assignment Dates Do Not Match Task Dates

    I am the functional administrator for Project Server and Project Professional at my company. I have noticed on a few occasions that a Project Manager will set up a fixed duration task, and Project detemrines the start and end date. When he assigns a resource
    to the task, the assignment start date matches the task start date, but the end date is earlier, even though there are no constraints that explain the date chosen. Has anyone seen this?

    Hi,
    Not only have I seen this, I have an example I show in my courses - it is perfectly normal. Assignment "duration" (difference from start to finish) is calculated based on work and units.
    OTOH, you FORCE the task's duration by setting it fixed duration: Project will obey that, so the two values will MOSTLY (not just by accident or occasionally) be different so the end dte of the assignment will be different from the end date of the task.
    On the Gantt Chart you will see a TRAILING SPLIT appear.
    Fixed duration is simply not compatible with effort based scheduling!

  • Assign a value from dropdownlist to input field value on BSP page

    Hi,
    I'm new to SAP and ABAP. We have a CRM project in which I have to maintain BSP pages.
    Now, coming to my problem: I have a input field with
    value = "//BTAdminH/HeaderInfo"
    This field is normally maintainable. The required function is now to set this field as not maintainable/readonly. Then, the value should be set automatically to an value, which will be selected from a dropdownListBox. After saving, the value HeaderInfo should have the same value like the selected value from the dropdownListBox.
    How can I now set the field as readonly (this should be the easier part) and
    how can I set the value for the HeaderInfo to the value of the selected value from the dropdownListBox?
    If I set it directly like this
    value = "//BTActivity/Priority"
    it is shown on the BSP page correclty, but it is not saved as HeaderInfo.
    Please help me.

    Hello Gokul,
    test was only for test purposes! I am using as a separator the plus sign!
    But this is not the problem!
    In debugging, the local variable has the concatenated value! So, this is working!
    oncatenate ls_ddlb1-value ls_ddlb2-value ls_ddlb3-value into lv_headerinfo SEPARATED BY ' + '.
    But when I assign the value of my set_headerinfo to the local variable, then it is returning only the separator sign!!!
    if BTAdminH->GET_HEADERINFO( 'HEADERINFO' ) is initial.
        BTAdminH->SET_HEADERINFO( attribute_path = 'HEADERINFO' value = lv_headerinfo ).
      endif.
    If I declare the local variable as one of the dropdown values, then it is getting populated also for set_headerinfo
    lv_headerinfo  =ls_ddlb1-value.
    So, the assigning is also working! But it is not working, when the local variable equals more than one value! I hope that I could explained it in the right way for you!!!!
    So. why is the value for set_headerinfo not the same as the one for the local variable! The local variable has the correct value after the concatination.

    Hi,
       Thank you for your replay. I didn't touch DB directly, I defined db structure through NetWeaver Dictionary perspective and table that i'm interested in is defined like the one on this screen: http://zduniak.com/tmp/sap_dictionary_double.png
    So I'm looking for generic solution (SAP OpenSQL), not specific to any particular DB vendor.
    Maybe there is somewhere on help.sap.com (i couldn't find unfortunately) information what is the allowed range of values for type 'double' in database according to OpenSQL spec ?
    Thank,
      Marcin Zduniak

  • Initial value and value in the database

    Hello world ,
    i want to add initial value with value in the database depend on the date
    for example i have initial value for 30/09/2009
    i and to all it with value in the database in 31/12/2009
    take a look what i did
    PROCEDURE pkd_prem IS
    cursor gr_pkd_prem is select
    SUM(DECODE(mark,'01',FM_mark,TM_mark) A,
    SUM(DECODE(FMS,'01',LS,NS) b
    from fr_treaty_profile ftp, fr_monthly_summary
    where
    (ftp.tpr_cgp_id = fr_monthly_summary.fms_cgp_id )
    AND (ftp.tpr_cmp_id = fr_monthly_summary.fms_cmp_id )
    AND (ftp.tpr_treaty_origin = fr_monthly_summary.fms_treaty_origin )
    AND (ftp.tpr_uw_year = fr_monthly_summary.fms_uw_year )
    AND (ftp.tpr_class = fr_monthly_summary.fms_class )
    AND (ftp.tpr_type = fr_monthly_summary.fms_type )
    AND (ftp.tpr_serial = fr_monthly_summary.fms_serial )
    AND
    (fr_monthly_summary.fms_treaty_origin=:BLK1.EO_ORIGIN) AND
    (fr_monthly_summary.fms_uw_year=:BLK1.EO_UW_YEAR) AND
    (fr_monthly_summary.fms_class=:BLK1.EO_CLASS) AND
    (fr_monthly_summary.fms_treaty_type=:BLK1.EO_TYPE) AND
    ( fr_monthly_summary.fms_treaty_serial=:BLK1.EO_SERIAL)
    AND (FMS_TYPE ='P')
    AND FMS_SERIAL = '01'
    AND (FMS_OFC_ID !='X')
    and (FMS_YEAR =substr(to_char(:BLK1.EO_TRNX_DATE,'DD/MM/YYYY'),7,4))
    and (FMS_PERIOD between substr(to_char(:BLK1.EO_TRNX_DATE,'DD/MM/YYYY'),4,2)-2 and substr(to_char(:BLK1.EO_TRNX_DATE,'DD/MM/YYYY'),4,2)) ;
    ---Initial value
    cursor base is select EO_GR_BKD_PREM from FR_EN
    where
    EO_TREATY_ORIGIN=:BLK1.EO_ORIGIN AND
    EO_UW_YEAR=:BLK1.EO_UW_YEAR AND
    EO_CLASS=:BLK1.EO_CLASS AND
    EO_TREATY_TYPE=:BLK1.EO_TYPE AND
    EO_TREATY_SERIAL=:BLK1.EO_SERIAL AND
    EO_YEAR=:BLK1.EO_YEAR;
    A number(18,3);
    B number(18,3);
    v_base number(18,3);
    BEGIN
    open base;
    open gr_pkd_prem;
    fetch gr_pkd_prem into a,b;
    fetch base into v_base;
    :BLK1.EO_GR_BKD_PREM :=nvl(a,0)+ nvl(b,0)+ nvl(v_base,0);
    close gr_pkd_prem;
    close base;
    END;
    the proceudre is correct and the values come as i want
    but here
    FMS_PERIOD between substr(to_char(:BLK1.EO_TRNX_DATE,'DD/MM/YYYY'),4,2)-2 and substr(to_char(:BLK1.EO_TRNX_DATE,'DD/MM/YYYY'),4,2))
    suppose i will add from 6 to 9
    the value will come down to add with base value
    but next time i want from 10 to 12
    it will add value 10 to 12 with the base for just period 10 to 12
    i want to keep adding
    if i start from 6 to 9
    then shoud be
    add the value of 6 to 9 to 10 to 12
    but

    look ..
    i created a form and let's say there is one field called Base ..
    and i inert value on that field and saved .
    then
    i created cursor to fetch value from another table
    that value which i fetched from another table must add to past value
    take this scenario
    i started with value 6
    then i fetch by cursor value from 1/1/2010 to 31/3/2010 and that value = 33
    first action
    6+33
    then
    i fecth by using cursor from 1/6/2010 to 30/9/2010 and that value = 2
    the result of first action must add with the last value which is 2
    (6+33) from first action plus(+) 2 and display the result on the secreen

  • What is the initial value for a numeric field ??

    Can someone tell me what the INITIAL VALUE FOR A NUMERIC FIELD is ?? Thank you
    Rod.

    Using the following...
       class MyClass
         int myvar1;  // Default initial value
         int myvar2 = 3;  // Default initial value and default value
         MyOtherClass myclass1; // Default initial value
         void doit()
           int mylocal1;  // No value
           MyOtherClass myclass2; // No value
    All number member variables, like myvar1 start off with andefault initial value which is zero. For booleans this is false. Object reference variables, like myclass1, have a null value.
    All local numeric variables are considered undefined. So mylocal1 and myclass2 are undefined. Before you can use them you must explicitly provide a value.
    Finally note that myvar2 will have two values during class instantiation. Initially it will have a value of zero. Sometime later it will have the value of 3. (When that happens is very definitely outside the scope of what this forum covers. If you want to know then ask in the advanced forum.)

  • Sequence created in anon PL/SQL missing initial value

    If I create a sequence in an anonymous PL/SQL block, with execute immediate, then perform a select nextval from that sequence outside the block, it misses it's initial value.
    Easily reproducable here:
    create table tab_a ( col_a number(4) not null );
    begin
      execute immediate 'create sequence seq_a start with 47 increment by 1';
    end;
    insert into tab_a select seq_a.nextval from dual;
    select * from tab_a;
    This is a much simplified representation of the circumstance I found myself in, but it reproduces the effect I see.
    If I drop the sequence and truncate the table, and run the statements (excluding the first) again, it works as expected. If I drop the table and run all the statements again, it returns the wrong answer again.
    I don't need a workaround, the issue has been addressed long ago, but I would like to know WHY this happens. starting the sequence at 47 can be any number, it's there just to show the issue when 48 is inserted into the table. The insert could be into any table, and the from could be over any table rather than dual.
    Oracle EE 11.2.0.1.0 on OE Linux, RAC and Single node.
    TIA.

    Can you show the output you get like this? Mine is a 10g DB. But sure it would work in 11g DB as well.
    SQL> select * from v$version where rownum = 1;
    BANNER
    Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.5.0 - 64bi
    SQL> drop table t;
    Table dropped.
    SQL> create table t (no integer not null);
    Table created.
    SQL> begin
      2     execute immediate 'create sequence seq start with 47 increment by 1';
      3  end;
      4  /
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    SQL> insert into t select seq.nextval from dual;
    1 row created.
    SQL> select * from t;
            NO
            47

  • Error -200587 occurred at DAQmx Start Task.vi:7

    I am running the attached code Merrit_Coil_calibration, and I get the following error:
    Error -200587 occurred at DAQmx Start Task.vi:7
    Possible reason(s):
    Requested operation could not be performed, because the specified digital lines are either reserved or the device is not present in NI-DAQmx.
    It is possible that these lines are reserved by another task, the device is being used through the Traditional NI-DAQ interface, or the device is being reset. You might also get the error if the specified resource is currently in use by LabVIEW network variables bound to the DAQ Channel, or if the DAQ Channel is being used in any OPC Client software.
    If you are using these lines with another task, wait for the task to complete.  If you are using the device through the Traditional NI-DAQ interface, and you want to use it with NI-DAQmx, reset (initialize) the device using the Traditional NI-DAQ interface. If you are resetting the device, wait for the reset to finish.
    Device:  Dev2
    Task Name: _unnamedTask<F>
    I am calling the same DAQ, many different places in my code and I think that is the problem, but I can not figure out why or hw to fix it.  Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you both for your input.  I slightly changed my code to Merritt_Coil_calibration (updated code attached) and the first error went away, but now I have a different one which is:
    Error -200429 occurred at DAQmx Write (Digital U32 1Chan 1Samp).vi:1
    Possible reason(s):
    Value passed to the Task/Channels In control is an empty string (or I/O control).
    The value must refer to a valid task or valid channels.
    As far as what DAQ device I am using, it is the NI USB 6009.  I am only using digital port 0.  During different pieces of my code I send different values to port 0.  I am using this to drive some stepper motors.  I thus send square waves on the different pins on port 0.  I do not know if this is exactly what you were asking.
    Whatever the case, I was wondering if anyone knows why this error occurs and how I could fix it.
    thanks.
