Assigned Documents view report
Hi Gurus,
I am looking for a report as CV04N is not catering my requirement, as my user requesting for a detailed report with reference to Document Inforecord he needs the no of documents assigned to that record.
When you go individual line item and go to details, we can view all the records in CV04n.
Each Inforecord may have 5 to 20 attachments....is there any way to view the this in a single report?

Hi Naveen,
This can be developed by your ABAPer easily, using tables DRAW, DMS_DOC_FILES, DRAD, DRAP and Function Module CVAPI_DOC_VIEW.
The output looks like this.
When you D'click on Detl icon you get the popup shown listing the 2 documents. When you D'click on any of these files (here both PDFs) the file will be opened.

How to view word document from report?
We have one table with blob datatype and manage to save some document by creating form on this talbe. Through form we can see the document as default functionality of portal forms. But now we want to allow user to view this document from report as well.
We tried one Solution on WWDOC_DOCUMENT and its working for WWDOC_DOCUMENT table but we want to display from our user table's word document. ( Any relation between user table and WWDOC_DOCUMENT table of PORTAL30).
ThanksFound way around but facing another problem. Its worked fine for first time (means when i inseted documents and created report on same table).
But subsequent session it giving HTTP 404 file not found error.

Security assignment for Document viewer TF .

I am uploading the document in my content repository using upload method of document viewer .
for this i have created a jspx page with document viewer TF .
There is a constrain that only soa_admin user can get the permission to upload the document .
Can anybody guide me how can i assign this role to my TF without using adf security .

Profit center wise all document view
Hi SAP,
We can view the documents in FB03 at company code level, and we can view all the company code documents.
But if i want to see only plant or profit center level all the documents what Tcode i must see?? from which Tcode SAP will provide all the documents view at profit center level??

If you have new GL and PCA active, it would be very difficult to have Document Types assigned at profit center level. The document types are assigned at company code level and not profit center. There would be many transactions which would have multiple profit centers. How would you seggregate them, even if you use different document types as suggested for various profit centers?? Morever, most of the posting in FI come from other modules and are posted by the system because of the transactions in other modules. So it is practically not feasible to have profit center wise document numbers.
However, for Indian Scenario, you can have SD Tax Invoices for every plant, where billing is done. Secondly, SAP has delivered excise documents to be numbered differently for every excise registration.This is to meet the Indian Reporting requirements.

Unable to generate Power View report out of Multidimensional report data source
Hi,
I have created 'Report Data Source' connection to point to Multidimensional cube on Share Point site. But when I try to create a new Power View report out of it, I get following error message :
"An error occured while loading the model for the item or data source 'http://*********/PowerPivot Gallery/TestCube.rsds'. Verify that the connection information is correct and that you have permission to access the data source."
I can see following message in the <moreInformation> section :
<Source>Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services</Source><Message>Errors in the metadata manager. The current model can only be expressed when the client is requesting tabular view metadata with VERSION restriction of 2.0 or later.</Message>
Following are the System configurations :
1) SSAS : SQL Server 2012 + SP2 (version 11.0.5058)
2) Share Point 2013
As mentioned in one of the MSDN documents this configuration supports creation of Power View reports on multidimensional cube.
Can any one suggest what might be the issue?

Based on the error message, the issue should be the SSRS on sharepoint metadata version mismatch when sending to SSAS. There's someone mentioned in a similar thread that this issue can be solved by installing the full package of CU4 for SP1.

Even you already have SP2 installed, it supposed included CU1~CU9 for SP1. However, it has reported that SP2 doesn't fix all bugs which supposed to be fixed in CU for SP1.
SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 2 is available - but there's a catch!
So please re-install the full CU4 for SP1, restart the services and try again.

Based on the error message, the issue may be caused by the incorrect configuration of Claims to Windows Token Service (C2WTS). The C2WTS is required because the communication between the web front-end (WFE) and the Reporting Services shared service will
always be Claims authentication.
The domain account used by the Claims to Windows Token Service needs to be granted the following rights through the Local Security Policy:
Act as part of the operating system
Impersonate a client after authentication
Log on as a service
We can find these settings under Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy > Local Policies > User Rights Assignment. And we should add the service account to the local Administrators Groups ahead.

Webi hanging in Document View mode on prompt refresh after 15 seconds of inactivity
I have a particular issue with a report that contains 5 prompts, when I Refresh the report and quickly point, select, or otherwise refresh list of values and Run Query the report runs in a flash however if I wait for about 15 seconds as a new user might when thinking about the prompt values to select, when I then go to Refresh LOV or otherwise select the next prompt the Document hangs and I get the blue circle.
I am not getting a timeout because I can click on Home and reopen the report to continue. Any ideas if this is dropping the DB connection because of inactivity, etc? I cannot replicate this behavior I when open in Edit via the Java Report Panel only in Document View mode, and not all reports. This is causing issues with users as this is an important report they require.
