Assigning Duty Types to Pricing Conditions

Hello all,
I have certain pricing conditions in the R/3 Purchase Order that I'd like to appear as a duty type in a Customs Declaration in GTS. I have assigned the GTS duty type to the R/3 Pricing Condition type in the IMG
(SAP Customs Management -> Customs Processing -> Calculation of Customs Duty -> Assign Duty Types to Pricing Condition Types from Feeder Systems -> Assign Duty Type to Pricing Condition Type at Feeder System Level)
and have activated the relevant BAdI in R/3, however the value I enter for the pricing condition in the PO doesn't get transferred. Does anyone have any experience with this that might be able to offer some advice as to why the value is not being transferred?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi ,
You have to define
Define Customs Duty Framework  under Calculation of Custom duty in GTS if you need different duty type  to be appeared on the custom shipment document..
If you need further control on these Duty type then configure
Configure Control Settings for Customs Duty Calculation
And also Make sure that do the assigenment of pricing condition to your defined duty type in GTS under
*Assign Duty Type to Pricing Condition Type at Feeder System
Kind Regards,
Sameer

  • Transfer pricing conditions ( Ecc) to Customs Duty Types (GTS)

    Hi Experts,
We are currently using ECC 6.0 with GTS 7.0.
In GTS 7.0 , the option to Map the Customs Duty type to Pricing condition type does not appear. Can you share where I can look for the same
The condition records from proforma Invoice (ECC) are transferred to GTS Customs Declaration.
However, we have certain condition types with calculation type as percentage in ECC which need to flow over to GTS.
    1.  What changes need to be carried in the corresponding boldcustoms duty type configurationbold in GTS to ensure that we get a correct data transfer..
    2.  what unit type / currency needs to be maintained to map the "%" appearing in condition record value (ECC) to the customs duty value (GTS).

    Thank you Sathya,
I attempted to navigate via the given path but could not locate the option of having the assignments there.
The condition type that is in scope of the dicussion is already getting transferrred to GTS via the standard mechanism( we havent modified the BAdI for this)
However, the issue being encountered is that te condition record value holds a percentage figure.. this in turn is not getting mapped to the currency of customs duty type .
How do I achieve this mapping in GTS ... Do i need to modify the BAdi to carry out the calculation before transferring this to GTS or alternatively some standard configuration in GTS can help me achieve this  mapping.

  • Relation B/W tax and pricing condition types

    HI friends
I want to know relation b/w tax and pricing condition types.
Here, i think we are giving relation in pricing procedure, how we are giving that relation, what is that mean.
How sys will carry the values from tax condition types to pricing condition types.
plz give me the details early.
    with regards
    lakky

    Hi...
Actually in priciing procedure it is only sequential arrnagment of COnt type could be price, dicount or tax ... so that system calculates as process given by client.
now when u see tax condition types .. they are also created in FI and also in Sd with same controls and linked via the account key...
Account key MWS, MW3 are created in Fi and only used in Sd but azccount keys like ERL, ERF, ERS are created in Sd and used for account det in VKOA ...
also MWS, MW3 used in VkOA but are used in TAx procedure also and are assigned G/L in Tax code ...
now when u c the pricicng in a Sd doc .. sales order then all totals calculated and net price given and below that a Tax total given ... how system calculates tax totals is that in the tax conditio type in condition category .. we give Taxes as D so that all cond types with this cond catefory gets added and totalled to this tax total figure ..

  • How to change exchange rate type for specific pricing condition type

    Hello every one,
I have a requirement for billing ie VF01.
currently  all the exchange rate are being calculated with exchange rate type 'M' by default.
but now client want it should calculate exchange rate with type 'E' for two pricing condition type for all others it should calculate with type 'M'
Please any body can help me with the exit and code which i can use.
    I have checked exits SDVFX008.
but how to change exchange rate with type 'E' only for two conditions.
as changing exchange rate at document header will change exchange rate for all condition type.

You need to assign KOMK-KURST = 'E', for those two condition types. If it had been item number specific, you could have used USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK(RV60AFZZ).
Do one thing, put a breakpoint on FM 'PRICING' and then do selective runtime analysis.
Check whether any user exit/BADI/ explicit enhancement are available when condition types are processed in a loop. If nothing is available, try implicit enhancement.
Link to refer for selective runtime analysis - Runtime Analysis for VOFM
Also try with VOFM requirements ( not sure whether changing KOMK-KURST is permissable in requirement as normally  we only set sy-subrc values to suppress/allow condition types ). Don't forget to assign requirements against condition types in pricing procedure.

  • To make the Pricing Condition types inactive in Pricing Procedure

    Hi Experts,
I am facing a senario where, in a sales order, pricing procedure, if one of the pricing condition type does not exist, then two other condition types (even though they are determined by condition records), should be either made inactive or should not appear in the pricing procedure.
Example: If I have 3 condition types in Pricing Proc say
    YYY1, YYY2, YYY3, then the scenarios are
    a. If one of the condition types YYY1 is not determined, then, YYY2 and YYY3 should not be either determined in the sales order or should be made inactive. This same logic applies to both YYY2 and YYY3.
    b. If all three condition types are determined in Pricing Proc of the sales order, then, the price should be considered.
If it was just YYY1 then, I could have done it in VOFM by writing a routine and assigning it to YYY2 and YYY3 in pricing proc. However, the scenario is to check the other condition types as well and make YYY1 inactive if any of the other condition type does not exist. Both condition types are determined after YYY1 which is another difficulty.
I tried creating a dummy condition type  and assigning it to Pricing Proc (at the end of Pricing Proc). For this dummy condition I put in a pricing requirement which checks for all three condition types and if one does not exist, then it make other conitions inactive.
However, this does not work in VA02 and VA03 as XKOMV is either not getting filled up or even if is getting filled, it is not having the condition type. It some times has condition records, and sometimes not... (not very sure why)
So, I was thinking of using user exit for the same. However, I was unable to find a suitable user exit for the same where KONV table can be read or XKOMV can be filled.
Can you please suggest if any user exit can be used for this or if we can implement it in a different way?

    Hi,
I think you can use condition exclusion functionality to select best pricing condition from a set of conditions in pricing.  You can compare conditions in many ways.
I believe you can plot a solution with little research.  The below link is for your reference.

  • Pricing : Condition type value need tog get from the lowest of 4 other cond

    Hi,
I have one requirement in one pricing procedure.
I need to calculate condition value of one condition type from the lowest value of other 4 condition tyeps. These condition types values are not defined as a subtotal.
So if I decide to write a formula on condition values, is there
any way to select these values and choose the lowest of them?
Please also advice if there is any other way such as condition exclusion
    or so?
    Thanks and regards,
    Anand

    Anand,
As you have mentioned you can use condition exclusion for such a requirement.
here is a detailed description of how you can achieve this: use the menu path IMG> Sales & Distribution> Basic Functions> Pricing> Condition Exclusion> Condition exclusion for group of conditions.
When you execute this IMG acitivity you get a window with three options
    1.Define Condition Exclusion Groups
2.Assign condition types to the exclusion groups
3.Maintain condition exclusion for pricing procedures
We will use these three options one by one, we start with the first
    1. Define an exclusion group, lets say EX01 and give a description
2 Assign the four condition types that you want to compare to this exclusion group under this option
       lets say EX01 ZK01
                   EX01 ZK02
                   EX01 ZK03
                   EX01 Zk04
    3. under this third step, select the pricing procedure that you are working on and from the left margin click on 'Exclusion'. click on 'New Entries' and make the following entries (example)
             Sno.   Cpr         ExGr1
              10      A            EX01                leave ExGr2 blank, Save your entries
Check if your purpose has been met or not. Do give your feedback

  • Pricing- condition type

    Hi All,
We have a typical requirement, where we need to access the condition value of a condition type, which is not attached to any pricing procedure.
For eg, take the condition type as ZLOM which has got an access sequence.
In case of Sales order, depending on the communication structure KOMP & KOMK the condition value is read using the fm CONDITION_RECORD_READ.
But in our case we cannot use this FM as this condition type is not in any of the pricing procedures and hence doesn’t return any value.
Requirement: Client wanted to use a particular condition type needs to be populated in sales order, wherein that condition type is not presented in any of pricing procedures.
    Is it possible ?
If possible can anyone let me know if you can help out in this?
    Thanks in advance.

    Vamsi,
If you have the conditiontype in pricing procedure, then only it will appear in the sales order. It is not possible to make a condition type appear in sales order, when it is not available in the pricing procedure.
However to enable this functionality, you can include the condition type in the pricing procedure and write a routine to ensure that the condition type is updated only when needed , not otherwise. The routine(Requirement) should be created in the tcode VOFM and this should be assigned to the requirement field of the pricing procedure in the row of your condition type. An ABAPer will help you to write the routine and you just have to assign it to the condition type in pricing procedure.
    Hope this helps you

  • Problem in Pricing Condition Type : In Service Confirmation

    Hi,
I am trying to create Service Confirmation from Sevice Order. I am tring to edit service Item details.
I assigned valuation type as "Saturday". As per the actual result, one condition type(ZS13) for surcharge should get added in Item Pricing details. But, it is not getting added.
Can you plesse tell me, what configuration I need to do to add ZS13(condition type) automatically, when I select, valuation type.
    Thanks,
    Sandeep

    hi,
Please check whether the condition type ZS13 has access sequence assigned having the condition table with Valuation Type as one of the fields.
Also check whether the accessses above this condition table are not exclusive.
The pricing trace may help you to analyse why this condition is not determined.
    regards,

  • Pricing condition table and condition type question

    hi guys,
We can use same condition table in pricing for multiple condition types.I am wondering how system knows which condition records should be applicable for which condition type in the same table.
I know the structure KOMV has those details, but thats used during the run time.
Do we have database table which preserve this relation /link ? Please help.
I also would like to know the  tables / fields /structures  which can be used at run time for defining requirements in pricing procedures.
    Thanks
    Dona

    Hi,
Condition types are assigned with access sequences.
These are the determining sequences in order to select which condition table is to be selected for that particular scenario.
Generally the access sequences are tested to the condition records on their priority basis.
    pricing procedure
    condition type
    access sequence
    condition table
    selection records.
hope this would help you understand the concept.
    regards,
    Siddharth.

  • Pricing Condition Types

    Hello Experts,
I am using the Condition types -  2 condition type for  Discount and 3 condition types for Freight but these are manual condition types.i have create condition typs with Z but when i try to check my pricing in SO system is not picking the condition type in the pricing...i mean to say tat user should not manually select the condition type. The condition type for above should exists blank in pricing so that user can put any value if required.
For testing purpose i have assigned the condition table 350 which has only field sales org in the access seq PI02 and assigned the access seq to above condition types and maintained condition record for sales org..
I can able to view the condition record coz system is able to find the sales org.
but my major issue is when i created the customer with USD system is system is picking the currency of condition record of sales org which i maintained.
Is ther any other alternative way without maintaining the access seq i wil able to get the condition types in the pricing so tat user will able to put the value.
    Plz give your input.
    Thanks
    Shri..

    Hello,
Firstly, without Access Sequence it would not be possible to get the Condition Record Automatically in Pricing Procedure in Sales Order.
What you can do is assign the general most Access Sequence (with Condition Table as Sales Organisation). But in this ase you will have to maintain Condition Record with some minimum Amount, which the Users can change while Creation Sales Order.
In V/06, changes can be made maintain as "Manual Entry has Priority".
    Hope this helps,

  • Multiplying two condition types in pricing procedure

    Hi,
I want to multiply 2 condition types in pricing procedure.Kindly guide me how to do it??
    Somnath

    Hi Somnath,
You can do that in following way
    1. Create another condition type
    2. Maintaine this condition type, after those two condition type which you want to multiply like, 10-first condition type, 20-second condition type, 30-new condition type which is multiplicaiton of first two. (10, 20, 30 are step numbers)
    3. Now write a routine which will multiply 10 and 20.
    4. Assigne this routine number in the Alt. Cal. Type filed for the new condition type 30.
    5. Now this new condition type will be caliculated based on this routine, and the value will be taken as multiplication of first and second condition type.
    Hope this clear.

  • How to update pricing condition type in a cancelled invoice?

I have one invoice(let say invoice number 01) which did not posted any accounting documents because one condition type in pricing procedure didn't had any record at the time of creation of invoice. so i cancelled the previous invoice and maintained the condition record of the condition type and again invoiced(let say invoice number 02) the delivery which posted the correct accounting documents.
Now the problem is that when i am going to the invoice number 01 in change mode and trying to update the pricing procedure by going to item level then the system is now allowing to update the pricing procedure as the UPDATE TAB is grayed out and i cant click on it. (is it because for invoice nummber 01 follow on cncllation invoice has been created? or any other reason and is ther a solution for this?)
action required: i want to update the invoice number 01.

    Dear Manpreet500,
If the invoice not having the accounting document no need to cancell that invoice.
In your case you might have done like this without cancell the invoice 01.
-->Create condition record for the condition type which was missed while creating invoice.
-->After creation of condition record you just go to VF02 transaction enter invoice 01 then go to condition tab here you can find the Update tab click on the Update tab now system will take you to the Pricing selection screen here you select B- Carry out new pricing now system will consider the condition record for the missed condition type.
Now you can release the 01 invoice manually by clicking on green Flag.
You can not update the 01 invoice may be due to the subsequent document cancelled invoice.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Problem with pricing condition type in case of proforma invoicing

    Hello All,
the problem is related to a pricing condition type in case of proforma invoice where the details are as follows -
Name of Condition Type - ZADC - Add 10% on Cost                                         Access seq.   Z038 Diff
                                                                                    Plus/minus    A Positive
Cond. class -  A Discount or surcharge
    Calculat.type -  A Percentage
    Cond.category - Blank
Manual entries      D Not possible to process manually
    Amount / Percent - Checked
    Item Condition - checked
    Scale Basis - Quantity
    Currency Conversion - Checked
    Quantity Conversion - Checked
This condition type has been kept as statistical in the pricing procedure. Still in the proforma invoice the condition type is not getting reflected automatically , whenever I am updating with " carry out new pricing " option the condition type is getting populated. In case of other commercial invoices this very condition type is getting populated automatically without any updates.Along with this point to be noted is that the Condition type in which the actual costi is captured has been kept active.
What more needs to be configured or what are the changes to be done to populate the condition type automatically as statistical during the time of proforma invoicing?
    Thanks & Regards

Kindly do the pricing analysis and check whether you have the following error such as
