Assigning Multiple tablespace to one user

i had created a tablespace say ( tabsp2), I want to assign tabsp2 to a user U1 which is already been assigned to tabsp1. If this is possible how do i do this using a SQL query.

Assigning Multiple channels to one Camapign

Hi Gurus.
We have a requirement for our business where the marketing user would like to assign multiple channels to a campaign. Is this possible.
Ex. Marketing dept creates a campaign would like to target all existing customer. Now they want to execute this campaign through, telephone, e-mail, etc.
My question is it possible and if so how can we assign multiple channel for one campaign execution.
Unfortunately this a urgent requirement and i need to come up with a solution by very quickly.
Your help ment awould be really appreciated.

Hi Rao
it is pretty easy,just you have to define the communication channel for all the BPs which you want to use for your segmentation cause.
within those BPs go to the identification tab and therein you just mention all those communication channels details which you want to use for assigning the BP to target group
after you are done with it just assign target group and do the segmenation.
do revert back in case of any doubt

Multiple Schemas under one user account with XE 10g

Hi,
I am using (learning) XE 10g. I would like to know if it is possible to have multiple schemas under one user account and have the schemas logically separated. As of right now, I have three schemas that I am working with, each one under a different user account. This is inconvenient, because I have to logout of one user account and login to another user account simply to be able to work with another schema.

It isn't possible to have multiple schemas under one database user account. It is of course possible to grant rights to other database users, and or roles, in order to allow access to the tables/data from other accounts. In Oracle there is a one-one mapping between schema and user.

How to open multiple sessions for one user?

Sorry for the silly question but I couldn't find it googling or searching through this forum, so I started wondering whether it's possible in SQL Developer to open multiple sessions for one user. I'm fairly new to SQL Developer and databases in general.
When I open SQL Developer and connect to a schema, a worksheet opens named MYSCHEMA. If I disconnect then connect, another worksheet opens, named MYSCHEMA~1. I assumed these were different sessions, but if I enter into one worksheet:
select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1
-- shows result is 1
update my_table set col1 = 0 where row_id = 1
select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1
-- shows result is 0and then enter into the second worksheet:
select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1
-- shows result is 0I would have expected the second worksheet to report 1 because the first worksheet did not issue a COMMIT. Thus, I'd guess both worksheets are the same session? Is that right? If so, how do I have two sessions open simultaneously (opened by same user)?

Ctrl-Shift-N doesn't do anything for me. I'm on a mac -- by experimenting it looks like command-N does what you're looking for. This appears to be the same as left-clicking on the "New" icon in the top left corner of SQL Developer, or selecting from the pull-down menu, File > New.
This opens "Create a New" window that appears to be a wizard. What would I select at this point? Options are: Database Connection, Table, View, Package, ...
I don't see an option for "Worksheet".
UPDATE:
OK, I found that if I select "SQL File", a worksheet becomes available. Perhaps this is what you intended. However, when I issue the command
select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1;it still returns 0 instead of 1. Hmm, maybe my initial assumption was wrong -- if this is a second (e.g. different) session, should I expect the changes made in the first session in SQL Developer (the UPDATE command) WITHOUT a commit, to be observed in this second session? I thought that changes made in one session were not viewable in a different session until these changes are committed in the first session? If so, how to show this in SQL Developer? I must be missing something basic here.
Or, is SQL Developer issuing some sort of "auto-commit" without my knowledge?

You will have to use more then one command to add datafiles to multiple tablespaces.

Multiple laptops for one user.

I install webtogo on laptop lt-1 for user 'test' and after a couple of days I install webtogo on laptop lt-2 for the same user 'test' and I keep working on lt-2. After a couple of days I return to lt-1 for user 'test'.
Problem is: the data isn't the same on both laptops. Any solution to solve the problem?
I think it's not allowed to install webtogo on different pc's for only one user.

you could probably achieve this by placing unique key in mobileadmin.dm$user_device(user_id) so as registring a second device for a user will cause UK violation and operation failure.. but I didn't test this myself so you should test it thoroughly - it can have some undesired consequences.

Assigning multiple Warehouses to the user

Hi Experts,
one of my client is asking for this requirement, they are having 10 warehouses (i.e.) from W-1 to W-10 and there are having three sales employee. if the first sales employee is entering the sales document, then he should view the warehouses of w-1 to w-4 only remaining warehouses should not appear in the sales document for that employee. where as for the second employee must see the warehouses W-5,7,9 only. when the third employee is entering the document he must see the warehouses W-6,8,10. Is there any possibility of fixing the multiple warehouses to the particular user in marketing documents in our standard SAP Business one.

Off Course.
Create a UDT Master Data type where you have to create Master Data Child linked to this Master UDT.
In Master YDT you have to maintain User list and in Master Child UDT you have to link multiple warehouses. this way you get the multiple whse linked to a particular User.......
Then by FMS you can fetch the details........

Assigning two UIDs to one user?

I created a home folder on another computer, and I transfered it to my current computer. The old home has a different short name and UID than the user account on the new computer. Can I assign my user account both UIDs (501 and 502) so that my one account can use files and directories in both the old and new home folder?

Assuming you have admin rights, and unless there is some purpose behind having 2 accounts, why not temporarily put the data files in a common location (like the shared folder), change ownership, then move them to your users home folder?
Then you can delete the second account.

WLC 4402 assign multiple VLANs to one SSID

Is it possible to have one broadcasting SSID but clients seperated by, lets say say 7 different vlans in the WLC? For example- each floor would be seperated by its own vlan and dchp pool, but they all connect to one SSID in the controller. From what I just read it seems that each vlan would be assigned its own SSID?

I have a requirement like:
Few of my client customers have other branches(Sister concern companies) in other locations. We have maintained and treated as that branches like customers and maintained customer masters for them too.
For achieving the requirement I has created one new partner function BB and while am assigning this customer master(branch) to main customer system is throwing error like: X is not defined for partner function BB.
Please suggest me am i following the right way or can i use "CUSTOMER HIERARCHY" For this requirement.

Check the Partner Determination procedure is done or not for the partner Function
Assign the Partner Function BB to that Particular Account group then only system will accept

RDP Causing multiple logins on one user

So recently, whilst adjust my wamp server, RDP decided to do something I have not yet experienced. i have my system set with a password and set to auto login to the only active user. but now, after doing nothing related to users/logins or RDP, when i open
an rdp session, it acts like it is loging in for the first time (all startup programs...start) and it doesnt log out the main session, thusly causing it to run 2 of all the programs, which is causing conflicts.

Here for your issue, I can say that you can check the connection settings of RDSH server under group policy. You can set in Server’s local policy using
gpedit.msc for this setting “Restrict Remote Desktop Services users to a single Remote Desktop Services session” under below mention path.

In addition you can also try to edit server’s registry setting.

Assigning Multiple Actions to one Group

I am trying to create a wheel of buttons that rotates each button to the top of the wheel when clicked. I attached a static image of what I working with. Each "thought bubble" is a button but all of the buttons are all grouped so they will rotate together. Ideally I would like the whole wheel to spin when one button is clicked. I can manage this once, but after the wheel spins once, it will not spin again. Also, I cannot manage to have the rotation angle be different for each action sequence attached to each button. I would like the button that is pressed to rotate to the top of the wheel.
Would apprecaite any thoughts or suggestions.

I am guessing now you have a custom component with a whole bunch of states. In each state the wheel is rotated to a different position and you have an additional graphic in each state for the bubble. For each transition you have a Rotate effect that moves the wheel and then a Fade In effect that shows the bubble. If I understand right, after the bubble is dismissed by clicking on the "x" the wheel doesn't work?
I am curious, are you changing visibility or alpha on the bubble to hide and hide it? I ask because if you set alpha=0, then the object is not visible, but it will get mouse clicks. If it is on top, then it will prevent clicking on objects underneath. Make sure you are using visibility (the eyeballs) then when the popup disappears the wheel will be clickable.
By the way, if you have 10 or so different popups and you want it so that clicking the "X" closes them, here's an efficient way to do this. Create a single "X" button. Create an interaction for this button "On click play action sequence". You now have an action sequence in the timeline. Now shift select all the popups in the layers panel, and in the Timeline choose Add Action > Set Property. In the properties inspector adjust the Set Property effect so it sets visibile to false. Now the x will hide all popups, so you can reuse this X for every state.
