Assigning table entries to a transport request

Hi,
How can I assign table entries to a request after I have created them?

1. Use SE09 to
   Either create a new workbench request
   or goto the old request (Objects Tab)
2. Press Edit button
3. Enter the following in the row:
   Prog Id = R3TR
   Obj Type = TABU
   Obj Name = MyTableName
   Then Press ENTER
4. A Key Button will come on the Right column.
    Press it. A New screen will come.
5. In table name enter : MyTableName
    In Table Keys enter : KeyFields*
    Save the request and transport.

   I have requirement, like we have created a table and maintenance view for that table - and made entries in that table.
   now we want to know all the entries made in the table are associated with transport request or not.

Hi,
Use the table <b>E071K</b>
in se16 give :
request number in TRKORR
Table name in OBJNAME
in the filed TABKEY u will get the <b>values of the key fields</b> in the table
by comparing the key fields u can find out the enrties related to the request number

Function module to add some table entries to a transport request

Hi All,
I need a FM using which I can add the entries of a table to a customizing Transport request.
For ex: I have a TR : TRxxxxxx , and I want to add an entry of Zxy table to it so that it can be transported,
Kindly let me know how to pass values to this FM.
I think I have to pass values something as:
pgmid: r3tr
object: tabu
objname: zxy
objfunc : K
TIA.

Just goto the table zxy in change mode change some desc or something and save, It will ask transport number and give one transport number
Else you can select the workbench transport requret in SE10, goto menu -> Request/Task -> Object list -> Include objects -> Select freely select objects

Attaching a table entry to a transport request by a program

Hi,
I need to create an entry in a database table through my program and at the same time I have to attach the same in a transport request. The Table is client independent.
I am able to create a transport using BAPI_CTREQUEST_CREATE. But does not know how to add the table entry to it.
Please help.

Hi Himanshu,
there are two ways to put table entries in request.
one is if you have table maintenace generator for that table then the table entries will automatically store in the request.
second way using the tcode se16 execute the entries. select the entries by check box, from menu table entry -> transport entries.
using this two ways you can transport the table entries.

How to delete the entries from the transport request

i need to delete the entries programatically from the transport request for all the entries which is exists in the package for the tables e070 and e071.

I think you need to have authorization for that thru auth group SA.
One more thing is where ever its created like source client only you can do if u have authorization.

Hi,
Refer note 3355 in OSS for a complete explanation. The SAPscript objects that should be transported must be written in a transport request.
The entries are as follows:
R3TR FORM NAME (NAME = Name of the layout set)
R3TR STYL NAME (NAME = Name of the style)
R3TR TEXT OBJECT,NAME,ID,L
(OBJECT = Text object, NAME = Text name, ID = Text ID, L = Text language)
If you want to transport a number of texts, you can use report RSTXTRAN to insert the individual text keys into a correction. The transport request must be entered and released via the transport system.

What are the steps to add Table entries(SM30) in the transport?
I have added the entries using SM30 for the table, but it doesnt appear in the transport request.

What I mean by 50 entries is:
for example,
In my transport there are 50 records for the table XYZ
Source system table XYZ = 50 entries
I want to move these 50 entries to TARGET system.
TARGET system table XYZ had few OLD entries , lets say 20 entries.
TARGET system table XYZ = 20 entries
With the transport of 50 entries + old 20 entries, I get all 70 entries in my TARGET system table.
But I want the table entries in TARGET same as SOURCE system entries that means 50 entries.
Is this possible? Is there any option with which TARGET system can have records only as per the transported entries?

Assigning a SAP Query to Transport Request

I have a SAP Query, now I want it to transport to the other system, while saving the query it is not prompting for transport request. Is there any possibility to assign that SAP Query to a transport request, if yes, please let me know the process.

This regarding creation of SAP Query .
Situation:
Infosets and User Groups were created in a DEV SERVER CLIENT 200 and saved in a request ie.REQ01
Now i wanted to create a Query QU01 in the Same User Group in DEV SERVER CLIENT 210 so i tried creating a Infoset but i get this error message
Note: I am not able to create & save an Infoset.
Message no. TK414
Diagnosis
You cannot edit request D01K901880 of user X00012, since this request is reserved for changes in client 200. You are logged on to client 210.
Can anyone clear this error? what is the solution?

All the table objects in one transport request..?

Hi Friends,
I do have more than 10 tables and each table is having more than 30 fields.
All these Tables, Data elements and Domains are created by me.... means name start with 'Z'.
My task is i need to save all these objects in one transport request number.
How can I do that...?
All the eariler transports are released to higher system....
As of my knowledge, going to each table & data element and domain... changing some text and then it will ask for new requestr and saving....
Can i do that in a single step for table and its fields (DEs Domains).

Hello Naveen,
In SE03 transaction ,execute the merge object list. ( if u are not authorized to SE03. Goto SE10 transaction and click the transport organizer tool in the tool bar (shift+F6))
Input all the transport request you want to merge and select the release check button ( as you says that your transport requests are already released ). and the execute and click the merger button in the top left corner. it will be asking new transport request. Create a new workbench request. finally you will be getting the popup message. select any option as ur convenient ( either online or background). then all the development you have done in different transport request will merge into one TR.

Try this..
Go to SE09,
create a change request
assign the table to the request and release it
import it in the target system through STMS
While creating Ztable when save then you will get one Request no and activate the ztable. Copy that request number and go to t-code SE09 -> Display -Ctrl+F ( to find the request no) a pop up window will appear enter your request no and find it you will see ur request no in that. Click on the requst no and relese the request no.
After Releasing the request no go to t-code STMS click on the import overview button on application tool bar ( it is like truck) window apprear to you in which slect QAS ( quality system ) double click on that and u will find the imported request screen where u can see your request number which you hv released from se09.
Select that request no and transport there is a button on application tool bar ( truck) there are two tuck button one is for transport all another is for transport selected item . Select transport selected item and give the quality server clinet name and username and passoword. This will transport from Development to quality.
This procedure is same for every request.

Include table entries into Transport Request manually @ SM31

Hi All,
I have an issues reg table maintenance at SM31.
We have a Z Table and I can add entries at SM31 to that table. But:
System has not asked Transport request while saving the data (after additions to the table)
Option to include in Transport Request manually is not available @ menu -> Edit -> Transport -> Include in request. Include in Request is not highlighted to select here.
Pls help me the process to add my table entries into a Transport Request.

Hi,
seems like your table is defined as Application table (master and transaction data).
Check SE11 to be sure
Database table: enter name > Display > Delivery & Maintenance
Delivery Class > is this A?
If so then there is no transport and it can be maintained in all systems.
You could try if required to create manual transport via SE01.
Programm ID: R3TR
Object: TDAT
Objectname: your table name

We have a requirement where in we need to capture a table entry in transport request in R/3.
The table "TMCEXCFZ" is a standard SAP R/3 table.
The" transport entries" option under the "table entry" in menu bar is disabled in our case.
Is there an alternative way to capture the table entries in the transport request?

Try to go to object changeability in the table....assign the table in a package.....then try to save this...it should ask for a transport...

Create a workbench transport request in se09 and double click on it, system opens request/task screen , go to objects tab add program id as 'R3TR' object type as 'TABU' object name as table name (ex: ZTABLE) and click on the function button , put '*' in table keys and save the request.
now transport this request , table entries will be transported to respective systems .

Problems adding object to Transport request via FM TR_REQUEST_CHOICE.

Iu2019m having some problems with a function module to a table entries to a transport request.
I want to put all table entries of a specified table (ZTRANSPORT_TEST) into a transport request by calling a function module.
Iu2019m filling the structures e071 with programId u201CR3TRu201D and ObjectType u201CTABUu201D but I get the following error:
Object R3TR, referred to by the object key, does not exist
Message no. TR600
Diagnosis
The object keys of the request/task cannot be edited because the object (R3TR) which is referenced by the object key is not in the request, nor is it going to be added to the request.
What am I doing wrong?

Is there any function module to assign Object to Transport request (Task)?

Hi There,
My requirement is to assign an object to desired task of the transport request. I found one FM called TR_EXT_INSERT_IN_REQUEST. But it has some limitations.
Limitations of FM : TR_EXT_INSERT_IN_REQUEST
1. It will assign the given object to given Transport request. But not to the task of a transport request. This FM will not allow assigning objects to the task. It will allow only to request.
2. Object entry present in transport request table e071. But, I can't find any version in version management. Moreover, the object is not locked under that particular request.
Can any one let me know, is there any function module to fullfill the requirement without above mentioned limitations?
Requirement :
1. Given object should be assigned to given task of TR.
2. Need FM to activate the Object and object texts.
3. After assigning to the request, It should show the vesion in version management and object should be locked under particular Task/ Request.

The object is not in local folder. I am aware of the process of assigning the object to request manually.
I want that to be done automatically. I wont prefer writing BDC for this.

Thank you for the function module. But TR_INSERT_REQUEST_WITH_TASKS will create a tarnsport request with tasks.
