Associating collection with a table problem

Question

Hi, i've faced with a following problem:
1. I created a table in my jspx Search page. Then i assosite with it some collection object, defined in a managed bean:
#{search_bean.GetEmp}
2. Next i add a button with an event handler method assign to it
Action: {my_search}
3. The objective of this page is to form a list of employees. The list can be gradiually filled up by applying new search criteria. Also i want my list ignore all changes that could be applyed directly into the table (lets make Read only property equal "false") when post back occurs . So the code of the method is as the following:

4. Simple accessor method:
public Vector <Emp> getEmpList1()
return empList1;
Everything works well excepting for updating empList1 collection through the session. It means that all changes bein made into the table retain in it after postback.
I supplied that all changes apllied directly to the table cells and through them to the empList1 collection should be declined by the row marked with ***** in my mehod examle, but it's wrong.
As i learned the previously mentioned row (empList1 = (Vector <Emp>) session.getAttribute("empList1")) returns already updated collection instead of initial...
Can anybody explain me HOW COULD the value that was changed in a table cell be tucked into the session?..........
May be there is another way of fixing this trouble? I could set Read only property of the table to "true" but now i want to learn why does it happend....

Hi,
I suggest you write a PhaseListener and have it printing out the Request Parameter Map. I am sure you will see the changed values being sent to the model where JSF keeps it state
