Attach a document in the Goods Reception

Hi experts!
Do you know if it possible to attach a document in the goods reception (MIGO)? I have the version 6.0 of SAP and I don't see any possible button to make an attachment (as in the purchase order Me21n).
Thank you in advance

Hi Madiii,
You can use tab at upperleft corner naming SERVICES FOR OBJECT here you can attach docuements you want.
Or
Better to go for Document Management System.
Here whatever attached docuement with large memory is saved in Content server.
So whenever you want that docuement you can extract it for content server.
Also benefit of DMS is it decreases load on your existing SAP server.
Thanks and regards

    Hi;
I am not sure what you mean by the answering email form, can you describe a bit more what you are looking to do?  Do you mean the "Email Receipt" that you can set up so the form filler receives an email after submitting their form?

  • How to attach a document with the Requisition Workflow?

I am testing the Oracle Requisition Demo workflow.Whenever i initiate the
workflow process with Reminder Requisition Document Option. The browser pop up
with the Error "The requested URL cannot be retrieved". Can anyone please guide me how do i attach a document with this process?
    Regards,
    Abrar

This field in the demo is designed to execute a PL/SQL procedure not store and attached document.
for example if you launch it from the demonstration Page instead of the launch process page the following will be populated into the document field. (PLSQL:WF_REQDEMO.REMINDER_REQ_DOCUMENT/WFDEMO:A1)
You can store a CLOB or BLOB in a workflow document attribute. Here is a link to the doc.
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B13789_01/workflow.101/b10284/defcom11.htm#doc
If you want to upload and pass documents through a workflow you can do it in a variety of ways. Personally I would use Oracle Files if I wanted it off the shelf. Or use Oracle Text and the database and pass the document throught the workflow as a URL. There is also the CMSDK.

  • How to attach documents on the Shipment?

Can some one help me in understanding on how to attach a document on the shipment VT02N & also please tell me if there is anything that we have to do on the Customizing or development side ..................
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello,
You can attach PDF format document to Shipment using GOS.
Normally if the SAP system is not connected to Archive Server this attachment is stored in table SOFFCONT1.
Storing attachments in SOFFCONT1 table will not require further configuration as SAP has already provided functionality to store attachments in this table.
If Archive infrastructure is in place connected to your SAP system then you can use Document Archiving concept for storing your PDF docks to your shipment. This will help you to better managment of documents.
Document Archiving implementation require complete configuration of ArchiveLink.
I would suggest you to go through very useful link that is provided by Suji Thampi in trail massage.
    Hope this message will help.
    Thanks,
    Ajay

  • When trying to attach a document, a dump file is created and SBO crashes.

    Good day all,
When a user try to attach a document, using the Browse Button, SBO crashes and creates a dump file. The same happens when "manager" tries to attach a file from that PC. From other PC's there is no problem. We can access the attachments folder from that PC. The path also points through the server, (through the network), and not to C drive.
Does somebody maybe have a solution? SAP 2007A SP01 PL05.
    Kind regards

    Hi Carin ,
Have you assinged the proper path to the Attachment Folder in the " Path Tab "
of  Administration --> System Initialization  --> General Settings .
If the path is assinged to some network place and not working .
Then once try to assing some local machine path and then try the same ..
If the problem solve with local path  .. then there may be some problem with the network .
    Hope it Helps

  • How do I attach multiple files from the pages app to my email

I'm trying to attach multiple documents from the "Pages" app to my email.  I'm using an ipad.  It is only letting me attach one at a time and send each document as individual emails.  I would like to be able to send one email with all 4 documents at the same time.  Any suggestions?
Another thought- When I go to my gmail app to compose an email, I have the following to send:
    to:
    cc:
    subject:
But there is not a paperclip to click to attach any documents either.  Is this all connected and something in my ipad settings needs to be adjusted?

You can only attach one file at a time to email in the Pages app
You cannot attach files in the mail app. If you want to email a file, you do it from within the app where the file is saved such as what you did with Pages.

  • Attachment of document

    HI SRM'ers!
We are currently working on SRM 5.0 in a classic scenario.
We want to put in place attachment of document when creating a shopping cart.
Our client does not want to attach same document to all the lines of the shopping cart, and is not satisfied with attaching a document to the first line of the shopping cart. Indeed, in cas of partial reject of the first line (and if requester accept the reject) shopping cart would be validated and transmitted to the ECC system without any attached document.
HAs somebody already faced that case? What could be the different alternatives I could propose to my client?
Indeed, we have already thought to attachdocuments to the header but this would require some specific development and seem to lead to some difficulties concerning other documents created following PR (as PO, GR and invoice for example).
    Please help!!!
    best regards,
    morgane

Hi, I think SRM5.0, you have option to attach for an individual line items and If you reject any of the line item, It will not transfer to Backbend system.

  • Attaching a document to an email message

I recently transferred by mistake (I intended ONLY to copy them) three documents to my cloud storage.
I'd like to know teo things:
    1) How can I restore the documents to my MacBookPro;
    2) If it is possible to attach these documents from the cloud to a mail message.
    Thanks

You do not have to use Pages 5.
All the new iWork applications use an obscure and unparseable zipped bundle for a file format, that third party server software such as GMail, DropBox, Amazon etc do not understand.
You can zip the .pages document before attaching it to eMails but this is an inconvenience and removes all the supposed reasons for using it in the first place.
Pages '08/'09 is still in your Applications/iWork folder.

  • Attaching a document to production order.

    Hi.
how can i attach a documet to the production order.
generally we can attach a .txt to our production order. but i want  to attach a document  to the production order.
    how do i do that.
    need reps fast.

    Hi,
For linking a document to production order, The prerequisite is do some customizing in SPRO.
    SPRO-->cross-application components>Document management>control data--> document types
in the document type you have to establish a object link to the document type and production orders.
So select a document type and Define object link ---define a object --PORDER with screen 251 and save.
Then goto production---Shop floor control --- master data --production schedul.profile
and enable - document links material or Bom on release or creation.
Then create a document using CVo1n.
Provide the document type and name then enter
In the next screen give the document description and below the originals sub header click on the OPEN Originals.
Here you select your document and attach then save the document.
Now got to Co02 and select the Document overview icon(Next to component overview icon) and provide the details of the operation to which the document to be attached and save.
then the Document is attached to the Production order.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards

  • Update Last Changed Date when attaching a Document to Opportunity/Activity

    Hi my CRM peers,
we have the requirement to update the last changed date of the one order object (Activity, Lead, Opportunity) when a user attaches a document to the object. Has anyone solved this requirement?
    Best regards
    Gregor

    Hi Stephen,
what do you think about using the SEARCH_DOCUMENTS method of CL_CRM_DOCUMENTS to get the documents uploaded during the last day. I fill the table IT_QUERY_PROP is filled to search for the Documents Created starting yesterday:
    Query:
    IT_QUERY_PROP[1]
      PROP_NAME      CREATED_AT
      SIGN           I
      OPTION         BT
      LOW            20100217000000
      HIGH           99991231235959
    And I get this result:
    LT_SRES[1]
      OBJTYPEP       P
      CLASSP         CRM_P_ORD
      OBJIDP         DF1C76C7D7D02BF1ABA8005056857C4E
      OBJTYPEL       L
      CLASSL         CRM_L_ORD
      OBJIDL         DF1C76C7D7D02AF1ABA8005056857C4E
      RANKV          05000
      DOCREFER       0000000001
When I now use the WHERE_USED method I can find the Business Object where this document is attached to by filling the
    IS_IO parameter:
    IS_IO
      OBJTYPE                        P
      CLASS                          CRM_P_ORD
      OBJID                          DF1C76C7D7D02BF1ABA8005056857C4E
Now my follow up question is: How can I update the last changed date of the document without changing any data?
    Best regards
    Gregor

Good question - and one that a lot of (business) people would like solved!
Your question prompted me to do some research, and I found this workaround posted by Scott Grossberg:
His solution actually addresses a second problem too - how to attach a document when replying to an email message. In your case you may not need to consider the "reply" aspect - but if not right now, it'll come in useful someday!
I've pasted it verbatim - if it works for you (it does for me) then all credit goes to Scott for solving the problem. There's just one thing I'd add to his solution: you will probably want to rename the message, as by default Goodreader gives it the Subject line: Mail with GoodReader attachments.
    THE GOODREADER OPTION
    1.  CREATE the document you want to send.
    2.  SAVE it to GoodReader (this will require you to buy and install the app).
    3.  Go to your email and OPEN the email thread to which you want to Reply and attach your file.
    4.  COMPOSE your Reply.
    5.  DOUBLE TAP the message.
    6.  TAP SELECT ALL. This will copy the entire email thread.
    7.  OPEN GOODREADER on the iPad and go to the file you want to send as part of your Reply.
    8.  At the bottom of the GoodReader screen you will see an EXPORT icon (it looks like a rectangle with an arrow pointing to the right).
    9.  TAP the Export button.
    10.  TAP EMAIL FILE. Depending on your needs, tap either SEND FILE “AS IS” or “FLATTEN ANNOTATIONS.” This will open a compose message screen with the chosen document already attached.
    11.  TAP in the body of the email screen. TAP PASTE. This will place your composed Reply and the prior email thread into the message.
    12.  ENTER the Recipients’ names in the TO: field of your message.
    13.  SEND your email Reply.
The modified version (= when composing a new message rather than a reply):
1 Make sure that the doc you want to attach is saved in GoodReader
2 In the message you are composing, double tap, select all, and then copy.
3 Open GoodReader and select the file you want to attach
4 Select the export button at the bottom of screen
    5 Select e-mail file
6 Position cursor in body of the email message, tap and paste. You may want to delete the "sent from GoodReader" text that precedes the attachment.
7 Rename your message (as by default it will be Mail with GoodReader attachments)
8 Add the recipient's address in the To field.
Hope this helps! All thanks to Scott for this workaround.
