Attribute Commentary Files not being included in Build

We are editing the commentary files in the includes folder. When we build and deploy the rulebase (copy the output zip and drop into the rulebase folder on the server), the screen commentary files in the includes folder are moved to the server, but the attribute commentary files in the includes folder are not. Instead, the attribute commentary files in the output folder are being moved to the server. Is there something we need to set to remedy this? Using latest versions of OPA/OPM, but the project was created in older versions.

Alan,
You might try deleting everything in the output folder and building a clean version. If the commentary is successfully included in the rulebase .zip file, there should be a folder called "commentary" at the root level of the zip. file.
Some things to check.
1. Make sure in the rulebase project there is a directory called include
2. Make sure the commentary files are in a directory commentary inside the include directory.

  • Header files  not being included in JNI

I've written a java program which interfaces with some C code.In the c code i use certain functions which are defined in a header file that i include in the same c file. The problem i have ,is that the compiler shows an error when it comes across one of those functions. It seems to me that the header file is not being included. Here's what i've done at the start of the jni c code, any help will be greatly appreciated.
    #include<stdio.h>
    #include " mnt/cprog/ca.h"
    JNIEXPORT void JNICALL......
Can other header files be included over here ,or do they have to be included from the java file?..but the problem there is that the header file is of .h extension.....any suggestions??
    ps..The os is Linux
    ..Derick

If the header files are not found, the compiler will tell you. At least gcc does so. If only some functions you are using are missing, they are probably not in the header file you are including.
By the way, there is no way to include headers for your native code through Java. What kind of mechanism should that be?

  • DVD-Rom extra content not being included in build

I'm really confused - I've set a location for a folder in which 4 .pdf files are included. But when I build the project the folder isn't being included in the root.
    Here's what I have: DVDROMContent/PDF/4 files
I'm selecting the folder named "DVDROMContent" as the location, so according to the DVDSP manual it should be placing the folder "PDF" at the root, but for some reason it isn't.
    Any suggestions?

I believe that if you're doing just a build it does not copy the files to the build location. If you burn it to a DVD or create an image to hard disc then the content will be written.

  • Warnings of files not being included in final disc

I've had a terrible time trying to learn to burn a movie DVD for my kids to play on their TVs/DVDs and was hoping someone here recognizes what I've done wrong. I've created a sequence in Final Cut Pro 5.1.4 (part of FCP Studio 2), used compressor to create the files ending in .ac3 and .m2v (and it also created one ending in .aiff). I imported these into DVD Studio Pro 4 and created a menu with 4 chapters (marked in the timeline). Not sure from the manual if I linked them right or not, but seems that I did. Then when I clicked build/format that worked well (said it was successful). But when I went to burn it I got the following messages in the Build Log.
Warning: The file ‘IVEY_20022003.layout’ found in the VIDEO_TS or HVDVD_TS folder will not be included in the final disc.
Warning: The file ‘VOB_DATA.LAY’ found in the VIDEO_TS or HVDVD_TS folder will not be included in the final disc.
I tried burning this to both a DVD-R and a DVD+R. Both show only the menu screen when I play it on a DVD player, but give the "Not Available" circle with a slash indicator when I tried to play them, use any DVD remote command button, or click on a menu graphic.
    What have I done wrong?
What other info do you need to know?
    TIA

The problem is that you have created a HD DVD, not a SD DVD. HD DVDs will not play in stand alone DVD players. You need to delete the VIDEO_TS and HDDVD_TS folders that DVD SP created. Then open up DVD SP and get into the Preferences and change the settings to SD DVD. The bad news is now you have to start all over again and create your project again in DVD SP. You cannot start from your old project.
The warnings about .layout and .LAY files can be ignored. They are not the problem.

  • External Actionscript File not being Included

    Odd problem:
Myself and a colleague are working on a project. We're both
using Flash 8. We've both downloaded the latest Flash player.
The project involves a series of perfume bottles, all lined
up in a row. When you press a key on the keyboard, the associate
bottle enlarges and some info on it appears. At the same time the
other bottles fade out (an alpha change).
The alpha change is driven using an external actionscript
file, which is called (#include) at the top of the first line of
    script in the ‘main’ movie.
The problem is, when I publish the swf file, the alpha change
doesn’t work. When my colleague publishes it, it works. Why
is this? It’s almost as if in publishing from my computer,
the external .AS file is being ignored.
I’ve tried calling the .AS file using a full path to
    the file. No change.
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Flash
player, and older version of the player. No change.
    Here’s something else that’s odd: I’ve
tried copying all the script from the external .AS file and
embedding it into the main movie. No change. Is it that the
publishing from my computer is corrupted? Other things I’ve
    published recently have worked fine?
    Any ideas?

Yes, I've opened the AS file, and it seems ok. I've also had
it sent to me a couple of times in case it got corrupted in
    transit.
I've also tried copying the script from the AS file and
embedding it into the 'main' movie at the #include statement (and
removing the #include statement) so it doesn't have to look for the
AS file, but this hasn't helped.
I'll try making a different AS file with the trace statement
you suggested, but I have other movies that call external AS
    statements, and they work.
    We're both running XP Pro w/ SP2.

  • How can I EXCLUDE particular folders/files from being included in the Lightroom 5 catalog?

How can I EXCLUDE particular folders/files from being included in the Lightroom 5 catalog?
I want to be able to specify paths and/or filename patterns that should NEVER be indexed in the catalog: not that they don't show up under certain circumstances, just that they are NOT THERE (in the catalog) to begin with!!
I also do NOT want to have to respecify these criteria when "synching" the catalog; criteria should be PERMANENT (or at least 'til they're changed in LR preferences).
I cannot be the only person in the world with this problem--but it sure seems like it, because I've spent an inordinate amount of time doing online searches & I can't find anything that addresses this issue.
    Can anyone PLEASE HELP me?
BTW, Adobe employees (if there are any of you out there), I'm simply trying out LR now.  If I can't get this (seemingly fundamental) thing worked out (with relatively little effort), Adobe is going to LOSE A SALE of LR, because it's useless to me without this feature.
    Thanks,
    -t

Thanks for the info... but how to you TELL LR to EXCLUDE images in a particular directory/directory structure?  The intuitive place to indicate this would be a right-click on the folder itself (or particular images), but no such option exists..  "???"  Thanks again, -pt
The same way that you avoid buying things in your local convenience store. You don't stick a lot of labels on certain shelves, slap a credit card down on the counter each week, and announce you are buying everything that doesn't have a label on its shelf. You just choose the things you want to buy.
Your mention of "synching the catalog" suggests that you are expecting the LR library, to mirror the total images in the computer by default. This is not IMO a useful way to think about it. LR contains no images at all, by default: the Catalog starts out empty.
Then you Add just those selected images that you want to import, among those already in the computer. That's a one-off process which is IMO best achieved controllably in batches - which you can keyword and otherwise organise in LR terms as you go. For new incoming images, ongoing, it is a question of Copying, Moving or Adding these in defined batches as they occur - from the relevant location only - there is no need to re-consider the import of a wider body of images. And one would not want to repeat that whole task anyway: one's prior investment in achieving the right selectivity, has a positive value.

Anybody know what's up with the menu.xml.files not being available for DW after installing on a new comp?

Usually that error can be cleared up by renaming the personal config folder. Turn on your OS's hidden files and then go to...
    C: > Users > your username > AppData > Roaming > Dreamweaver (version) > your language > configuration
Rename the configuration folder configuration-old and start DW up. That should create an entirely new configuration folder and correct the menu.xml file.

I ran into the issue of the 32-bit file not being recognized in LR 5.6 after it has been saved in PS. I tried every type of file I could save a file as in CC but none of them would be recognized or said it was corrupt.  I had exported 3 files to Merge in HDR Pro Photoshop as 32 bit files.  I then saved in PS and returned to LR 5.6, but it said the bit depth was not supported .  Is this a known issue with LR 5.6 / PS CC?

  • SWF File not being generated by compiler

I am using Flash Builder 4.5.
One of the modules that compiles without error is still not being bound into the runtime image (in this case debug).
There are no compiler errors (auto build is switched ON) but a swf file is not being generated.
I have tried removing the reference to the module in the Project ->Properties->Modules window and then adding it back in to no avail.
This was working up until I made a change to the module in question and then saved it.

I would check all imported images in the library. If you cannot see the image in your library preview; there is a good chance that there is an issue and it will need to be reimported.

  • userlib files not being found in built application

    Version: 2012 SP1 f5
Key Words: Build Application, <userlib>, DAQmx
I have a project with a Main.vi and and a Sub.vi, both of which make multiple calls to DAQmx vi's in libraries (*.llb).
The project is located in ...LabView 2012\user.lib\this\this.lvproj
I note that when I build the application using the default settings, Main.vi set as Startup VI and nothing else changed, running the application from its default build directory gives load "errors" in that the application cannot load various DAQmx vi's like:
    <userlib>:\builds\this\My Application\Application.exe\1abvi3w\vi.lib\DAQmx\configure\task.llb\DAQmx Clear Task.vi
    nor can it find:
    <userlib>:\builds\this\My Application\Application.exe\1abvi3w\user.lib\this\sub.vi
But if I change the Destination directory of the build from its default to:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\builds\this\My Application
removing the user.lib and moving the build up one level, everything works fine.
Is this a feature of just my installation? My solution seems different from similar problems that I have read about and I can't find a coherent explanation of what I "fixed" by changing build folders. Wait ... there's a search term I haven't tired "build folder" ... nope. Must have something to do with <userlib>, but I'm missing the terminology to say what the problem is.

    Saranac wrote:
And when did user.lib stop being the folder where users put their vi's? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your points.
I work with a team of people. We've always kept our VI's in folders in user.lib where eveybody would have access to them. When we recently decided to move all new development from LV8 to LV2012, we started using 'Projects' and naturally put each project in its own folder in user.lib. Obviously compiled dlls and exe would eventually be deployed to new locations when everything worked, but what is so strange about working in user.lib and accepting all the defaults in building an executable?
User.lib has never been meant to be a working directory for user projects.  It is there for user's to put templates or subVI's intended for reuse.  Also, a location for 3rd party libraries.  It is the location for files that you want to be a part of LabVIEW, but weren't installed with LabVIEW.
For your working documents (VI's, projects, libraries) they never should be a part of the Program Files folder.  Depending in your user access rights, your IT department may not even let you save files to that directory path.  Documents are meant to be a part of the Documents file structure.  If you need to share it so that multiple users can work on it, it belongs in the All Users directory of the Documents folder as opposed to the My Documents folder of any specific user.  Note that Microsoft has changed the names of these paths over the years.  Documents and Settings has become Users.

  • IOR files not being created

I'm currently experimenting with using the InDesignServerService (windows service) as our means of starting and managing instances of InDesign Server.
I seem to have it working for the most part but the IOR files are not being created and I cannot figure out why. I have been messing around with the command line arguments in the InDesignServerService MMC for quite some time with no luck. The instances seem to startup fine and show "running" in the event viewer info message.
    Command line arguments used -
    -pluginpath Server/Corba -iorfile c:\IDSQueues\Default\ior1.txt -previews
I've made sure the account the service is running under has writes access to the ior file path. I truely don't know what else to try or why this is happening.
Any help would be great! thanks!
    FYI
Using InDesign Developer Server CS5 (for testing) on Windows 7 64bit.

    Thanks for the response.
However, this will not work because I am using InDesignServerService to startup the instances. With the service, there is a field to specify a port number in so you do not include it in the command line.
Also, I have tried specifying this in the Command Line argument as well -
InDesignServer -pluginpath Server\Corba -iorfile c:\IDSQueues\Default\ior1.txt -previews
    InDesignServer.com -pluginpath Server\Corba -iorfile c:\IDSQueues\Default\ior1.txt -previews
    I've also tried
    InDesignServer -iorfile c:\ior.txt -pluginpath Server\Corba
which is what the Intro to InDesign Server PDF says to use and it does not work.
I have tried many variations and nothing works.  The IOR file is still not created.
I'm still trying to solve this, any help would be great!
    Thanks,

  • Crossdomain.xml file not being called by the SWF

    Hi,
I'm serving an swf file compiled using flex builder 3.2 through plain HTTP, the SWF file calls a service in the same domain through HTTPS, as such, I put the following file in the root directory of my web server:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "http://www.adobe.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
    <cross-domain-policy>
        <allow-access-from domain="*" secure="false" />
    </cross-domain-policy>
    and name it crossdomain.xml
When the service is invoked, I get the following error: [RPC Fault faultString="Security error accessing url" faultCode="Channel.Security.Error" faultDetail="Destination: DefaultHTTP"]
When I check the access log files of my web server (Apache), there's no entry for crossdomain.xml (it is not being requested), why?
When I serve the SWF through HTTPs it works OK ... any ideas?
I have tried in several machines (different browsers, different versions of Flash player) and no success.

I am also experiencing the exact same problem.  I'm not able to change the crossdomain.xml file located in the root directory and am going to try creating a new policy file in a sub directory.  The problem I'm having is that my web service is called from a virtual path and I do not know where to save this new policy file.
Have you tried to load in a specific policy file?
    Security.loadPolicyFile( "http://yourdomain.com/policyFile.xml" );
Also, you may want to check which sandbox your swf file is in.  flash.system.Security.sandboxType.  This could be another cause to the error.  My swf file is in the "remote" sandbox.
