Attribute common to all objects

Hi Folks,
May i know does anyone has any clue for this question?
"What need to be made to the class definition if the interest rate is to be stored as an attribute which is common to all objects of the different classes?"

Can't read all attribute of my serialized object

I've got a problem with my program. I try to serialized a MutableTreeNode root in order to save and then open my JTree.
I serialize it and i have no problem but when i open it the parent hierarchy is saved (x is son of y...) but their name are null. I loose nodes' name... :/

Please check your Node Object, I mean all Objects that you are going to save is serialized or not.

How to reference the Parent view Object attribute in Child View object

Hi , I have the requirememt to generate Tree like struture to display Salary from joining date to retirement date in yearly form.I have writtent two Pl/SQL function to return parent node and child nodes(based on selected year).
1.First function --> Input paramter (employee id, retirement date , joining date) --> return parent node row with start_date and end_date
2. 2nd function --> input paarmter(employee id, startDate, end_date) --> return child node based on selected parent node i.e. start date and end date
I have created two ADF view object based on two function return
Parent Node --> select * from Table( EUPS.FN_GET_CONTR_SAL_BY_YR(employeeId,retirement Date, dateOf joining)) ;
Child Node --> select * FROM TABLE( EUPS.FN_GET_CONTR_SAL_FOR_YEAR( employeId,startDate, endDate) ) based on selected parent node.
I am giving binding variable as input for 2nd function (child node) . I don't know how to reference the binding variable value in child view from parent view.
Like I have to refernce employeId,startDate, endDate values in 2nd function from parent view object. some thing like parentNode.selectedStart_date parentNode.employeeId.
I know we can achive this writing the code in backing bean.But i want to know how can we refernce parent view object attribute values in child view object using Groovy or otherway?

I have two view com.ContractualSalaryByYearlyView for Parent Node and com.ContractualSalaryByYearlyView for child Node.
I have created view link(ContractualSalYearlyByYearViewLink) betweem two view by giving common field empId, stDate , endDate.(below is the view link xml file).
I tried give the binding attribute values using parent object reference like below in com.ContractualSalaryByYearlyView xml file but getting error
Variable ContractualSalaryByYearlyView not recognized.I think i am using groovy expression.

Key focus is not visible for all objects when tabbing

I'm using LabView 5.1.
The key focus is not visible for all objects when tabbing through a "disabled and grayed-out" object.
For example, let's say I create a panel with 3 buttons. If I create a "disabled" attribute for button 2 and assign the value "2" (disabled and grayed-out) to it. When I will run this VI, the key navigation will go through button 1 and button 3 (skipping button 2 as expected) but the key focus on button 3 will not be visible.
Is this a bug with LabView or am I doing something wrong ?

Don't worry, time is not an issue... I'm posting an example of a VI with the problem I described. I noticed that the problem occurs only with "dialog buttons".
When you have time, let me know if you see the same behavior. If you do, I will report the problem to National Instrument.

Print All Objects

On some of my Analyzer 7.2.5 reports, when I try to print with"Print All Objects", the radio button grays out andfreezes, and I need to kill it through Windows Task Manager. This has consistently happened to the multiple-object (6objects) reports, but it also inconsistently happened to reportswith 3 objects - it happens to some 3-object reports, but not theother 3-object reports. It seems to work fine with other reportswith 1 single object. Does anyone know the limit, which it shouldn't, of thefunction? Thanks.

And can be done using HTTP (via a web enabled PL/SQL procedure that supplies the file content as a http Mime stream), using FTP (via UTL_TCP) or as a CLOB via a PL/SQL call interface. Using UTL_FILE is not necessarily the only option.

Direct and Flexible loading for Attributes for a Info-object?

Dear all,
Is it possible to have both Direct and Flexible update for Attributes of an Info-object from two different data sources from the same source system(R/3) . The reason being that the first data source can not be extended in R/3.
When this scenario is tried For Flexible loading The data loading is not successful in BW.No errors/dumps found.

In this case I start and activate the whole data flow again to hopefully get an error message. If this still has no success I'd open an OSS message. Even if you have made a mistake you should get an error message somewhere.
Some other places you might check:
SM50 to see if the job is still running
DB02 to see DB locks and tablespace problems

How to get attribute value from an object inside an object in Xpress

Does anyone know how to get an attribute value from an object in Xpress in a workflow? I have an object structured as follows:

I need if possible to get the name='Google Apps', which is inside the ObjectRef, so I guess its an attribute value of an object inside an object.

Determine all objects that a group has been assigned to

I am trying to determine all objects that a group has been assigned to. For example, I would like to know what communities and portletes a group has been assigned to.
I can retrieve the information directly from the plumtree database, however, I have not been able to determine how to accomplish this via the api.
I have tried the following

These are really 3 questions??
1. To delete objects in a request there are a number of ways, here is one:
Position cursor on modifiable request.
Double click on request and choose 'Objects' tab
Choose object line you want to delete and click 'Delete'
Save your changes.
2. To delete objects in a Dev Class:
Go to work bench --> edit object, Class and give your class name, you will see delete option at the bottom of the screen.
3. How to delete all objects in a package:

Have you tried dropping the objects individually? You can see which objects still belong to this tablespace by using the DBA_SEGMENTS view as shown below:
SELECT OWNER, SEGMENT_NAME, SEGMENT_TYPE, TABLESPACE_NAME
FROM DBA_SEGMENTS
WHERE TABLESPACE_NAME=tbs_tp2;HTH!

When releasing a transp. req.not all object in the request could be locked

When trying to release a transport request I get error message that "not all object in the request could be locked. Do you want to release them anyway"
I found an unreleased request (from someone else) containing few objects from my request. However I do not know the owner of that request (and I can not felete it). What to do?
If I release the transport anyway what could happen?

If ur sure that u only want to release object which u have created and not the other objects then proceed in following way.
1. Go to SE10 and click on create button
2. u will get a popup select the 3rd radio button(ToC)
3 Give the decsription of the Tp
4. u will get anext screen here in menu select request
task->object lise ->Include object (new screen) here u select radio button freely selet obkect -> then new screen then selected the radio button selected objet. Here u give ur object and those object will be store in the created request then u can transport

SEVERE: [FATAL] [INS-40925] One or more nodes have interfaces not configured with a subnet that is common across all cluster nodes.
   CAUSE: Not all nodes have network interfaces that are configured on subnets that are common to all nodes in the cluster.
   ACTION: Ensure all cluster nodes have a public interface defined with the same subnet accessible by all nodes in the cluster.
