AttributedString.addAttribute(TextAttribute.FAMILY - how are names mapped?

Hi;
How can I determine what Java is doing to map font names when I pass a name to AttributedString.addAttribute() and it does not have that font on the system? And what is the best way to handle this?
We are trying to layout text on a linux server that will later be displayed on a Windows system. We need to use Times New Roman that does not exist on a lot of linux servers.

Use
GraphicsEnvironment.getLocalGraphicsEnvironment().getAvailableFontFamilyNames()
to get list of supported fonts.
Or you can use logical fonts

Logical fonts are the five font families defined by the Java platform which must be supported by any Java runtime environment: Serif, SansSerif, Monospaced, Dialog, and DialogInput. These logical fonts are not actual font libraries. Instead, the logical font names are mapped to physical fonts by the Java runtime environment. The mapping is implementation and usually locale dependent, so the look and the metrics provided by them vary. Typically, each logical font name maps to several physical fonts in order to cover a large range of characters.

There is no relationship between reports and business areas. Each report can be built from many folders. Each folder can be in many business areas.
However you can try the following SQL which may give you the result you want for an v5 EUL. You will have to modify for Discoverer 4 EUL:

How to get the ASM to OS device name mapping

Hi all,
This seems to be an often answered question, but usually the answers specify what to do on the OS (e.g. run oracleasm etc) and/or in the ASM database running on the ASM Host (select * from V$...).
In our situation have plug-ins collecting data from Agents. Plugins collect data from Oracle db/ASM targets and from storage arrays.
Back on the OMS we want to be able to report on the ASM to OS device name mapping. To report, we use either the default metadata UI (i.e. data from the sysman.mgmt_emx_... tables) or we have a BI Publisher report that queries the OEM Repository Database (and can join the ECM tables from the different plug-ins).
The link between the ASM path and the OS device name does not seem to be collected by either the Oracle DB/ASM plug-in, nor by any other plug-in (Host/Storage/...).
It would be easy to go to Linux and run a few commands, but we need to support multiple platforms, like AIX, Solaris x86, Windows as well.
A complicating factor is that ASM can be installed in different configurations, e.g. using ASMlib or using udev...
I really suspect this wheel has been invented before?! Or is it really a matter of having multiple OS-specific low-level scripts and adding a bunch of instance parameters for allowing the user to specify all OS-specific path/utility names etc?

How to find workarea ID for the work area name.(Work area name CCIHT_WAH-WAID and I want to fetch characteristic data from table AUSP matching the OBJEK field,but I only have Work area name).Can anybody help me to find tables or relationship between Workarea ID and Workarea name for the same.I am using TCODE - CHIB02.Once I select a workarea and click on IHS Data button,I get data for that workarea.I need to find where this data comes from and How is this fetched.

we can fetch it from CCIHT_WALD table with the RECN value.

How can I map the composite_dn name with a composite in run time

I want to craete a report on number of total business and system faults with the help of Information Publisher in OEM 12c Cloud Control. I am fetching data from the table composite_instance_fault present in SOAINFRA schema. Below os my SQL statement:-

Now I want to know that how can I map the composite_dn name with a composite in run time. When we fetch data from the repository we used to map target in rumtime by using ??EMIP_BIND_TARGET_GUID?? but here as I am not fetching data from repository, how can I map target in run time.
On executing the above SQL statement its returing an empty table without any data.
Please guide!!

Acrobat (8.1.2): How to add 'mapping name' (/TM)

The PDF spec (1.4) defines that every form field can have an (optional) mapping name (key is TM). Is there a way to set this mapping name with Acrobat Profession 8.1.2?

(Optional; PDF 1.3) The mapping name to be used when exporting interactive
form field data from the document.

There are a number of ways to execute the relevant JavaScript, from using the JavaScript console, to setting up a custom menu item or toolbar button, to using a batch sequence. I would probably construct a list of field name/mapping name value pairs and use the JavaScript console to run the code that sets the submitName.
To check whether the fields in a PDF have a mapping name set, you could again use JavaScript to loop through the collection of fields and get the value of the submitName property. You could also set up a script on the server to report on the field names that were submitted.

Try this:
Go to Navigator -> 'Content Area' tab select 'Edit Root Folder'
click the 'Style' tab click the style properties link ->
'Folder Layout' tab click on 'sub folder' edit link, unmark
display region banner check box.
You can do the same procedure when you edit your folder and
click 'Folder style' follow the above next steps

Is there a document out there that explains the following or can someone help clarify it for me. I have some confusion on what is really going on.
When I create an InfoSource (IS_Test) as a Flexible update and then Assign DataSource (DS_Test) and I respond Yes, to the message DataSource assignment DS_Test to InfoSource IS_Test Save
a) Under Transfer_Structure/Transfer_Rules in the InfoSource
1) the Transfer Rules tab, what are the fields found in the right column (Assigned InfObjct-field)? And where do the fields you enter in the left column (Communication Str/Transfer rules) eventually go?
2) the DataSource /Trans. Structure tab, can I always assume that all the fields in the right column (DataSource) came from DS_Test? The left column (Transfer Structure), in my test was exactly the same as on the right. Where do these fields eventually go?
b) Under Communication_Struct., in the InfoSource
3. the right column (ISource Fileds) where from those InfoObjects. if I am now creating my InfoSource. Where did they come from?
4. The left column is Communication Structure, which at this point has no InfoObjects, if I move a couple of InfoObjects from the right to the left, where do these Objects in the left eventually go?
5. what is the relationship between the Communication Structure in 4 and 1? Or any relationship between a) and b) as a whole?

As Ashish pointed out, communication structure contains fields (infoobjects) that suppose to go to data targets. Which IO in CS to which IO in the data target will go (and what transformation of data may occur) is determined in URs of the data target.
The transfer structure is the structure in which the data is transported from the source system into BW:

In Transfer_Structure/Transfer_Rules in the IS, DataSource /Trans. Structure tab, right part shows fields in the Datasource, the left part fields in the transfer structure. There is also a transfer structure in R/3 for a given DS. Transfer structure in BW is created identical to the TS in R/3 during TRs activation.
During data load data are transferred 1:1 from TS in R/3 to TS in BW.
TS in BW corresponds to the PSA table structure.
How data from PSA are transferred to the CS is determined in TRs.
The 3rd column (Field) (Transfer Rules tab, right part (Assigned InfObjct-field)), contains field names of the DS (TS); and the 1st column shows IO in the CS to which the DS field will go. So, its a mapping DS filed -> CS field.
The left part (Communication str./Transfer rules) is always identical to the CS content. But the 4th column (Tp) shows possible data transformation during transfer from PSA to CS. If this column contains a yellow triangle then there is no transformation (Value of DS field will go to value of CS field). If there is a red cross, it means that no data for this CS field is supplied from a DS. You can click on this yellow triangle and choose: 1). Another field from a DS; 2). Constant; 3). ABAP routine; 4). Formula. So, here you can determine the data transformation. Moreover, there is a possibility to create a start routine (blank sheet icon at the top).
And finally, here are the answers on your questions:
Q:

A: Right part shows a mapping between DS and CS fields. Left part shows CS fields and data transformation (TRs) during data transfer from TS (PSA) to the CS. These are fields in the CS that will go to data target and which are fed from a TS (DS).

A: Yes, you are right.

A: these are fields from an IS template, the name of this template you can see above this right part. Actually, during IS (CS) creation you can choose different templates and choose fields from them transferring them into the left part.

There were 2000 songs to go through
So I really wanted to have had folders and then the music recorded inside them
So I could get right to where I wanted real quickly

1) Go to file, select new playlist. Creat the playlaist.
2) Download your music into iTunes.
NOTE: CHECK 'Recently Added' before you download your music.
If the select boxes has a check in them, turn it off by
holding down the 'ctrl' key and selecting one of the
checked boxes. This shold turn off all the checks.
It would be better to clear 'Resently Add' of all
previous downloads, but I don't know how to do that
yet.
3) under 'PLAYLIST' on the right, select 'Recently Add'.
all of your song should show there with a check in the selection
box.
4)Hold the shift key and select the frist (selete records name),
then the last recorded tune. All of the recordings shouls light
up blue.
5) While holding the 'shift' key, drag one of the records to your new
playlist. All of the blue highlighted song will transfer to the new
playlist.

How are attribute and text master data tables linked in SAP R/3?

how are attribute and text master data tables linked in SAP R/3?
Most tables with attribute master data like T001 for company codes,
have a text master data table T001T (add "T" to table name).
When looking at the content of table T001 via transaction se11,
the text are automatically joined.
But for some tables there is no "T"-table (e.g. table TVBUR for sales offices
has no text table TVBURT), but in se11 you get texts. There is an address
link in TVBUR, but the Name1, etc. are empty.
a) Where are the text stored?
b) How does the system know of the link?

The master and text table are not linked by name, of course, if you see the text table, it has the same key fields of master table, only it has the field key spras and the field for description.
The link beetween the tables is done by foreign key: if you check the text table TVKBT u need to see how the foreign key for field VKBUR is done:

It's very important the attribute sets for Foreing key field type, if it's KEY FIELD FOR A TEXT TABLE, it'll mean the table is a text table: i.e. that mean the master table is a check table for the text table, where the foreign key type is for text table.
U can find out the text table of master table by SE11: GoTo->Text Table
U can fined some information in table DD08L.

How to do mapping based on value.

Dear Experts,
I am working on a file-bapi -r/3 synchronous scenario.
From SAP R/3, if error response is coming then we are supposed to write in a file and keep on to some location.
If response is successful then need not write to the files, only for error responses we have to write on the files and give it to the client. How do we filter the response messages as it will contain both the successful and un successful messages and we are only interested to get the error responses.
Please help me with the mapping as how to check the type 'E' and map accordingly? Do I have to go fr context change as well?
I will appreciate each n every answer.

Hi Viru,
As per your requirement,I feel definitely it can be handled at mapping level.Just try the same suggested above to create the response structure if TYpe=E else donot.
Something like this TYPE==Constant(E)>Create>Response_Node.
One more thing how are you making the File-RFC-File synchronous scenario. It's Async to Sync bridge, so either you have to handle the RFC response to file by BPM or by request response one way bean.

How do you map a PFI to a clock to measure frequency?

I am running LabVIEW 8.2 and I am trying to measure the frequency of a voltage on a PFI pin. I have heard that I can map that pin to a counter input to measure the voltage but i cannot figure out how to do it. Are there any VI's already set up to do this? How can I map the PFI to a counter?

What hardware are you using to make your measurement? What driver are you working with? You will be able to make measurements with your counter on a digital signal. If you look at the device pinouts for your device in Measurement and Automation Explorer you will see the counter terminals.
