Auth_password blank when it shouldn't be

Why is the cgi variable auth_password coming up blank? This is on CF 10. I have debugging information turned on and can see all of the cgi variables and it correctly shows the username and authentication type (I have it set to Basic Authentication with Anonymous turned off and it shows AUTH_TYPE=Basic). If I run an asp page using <% Response.Write(Request.ServerVariables("auth_password")) %> it shows the password so I know it's not IIS. Any ideas?

That's when we saw the problem too. After upgrading (our dev machines) to CF10. We use auth_user/auth_password a lot too and need this fixed ASAP.

Smartform blank, when it shouldn't be

Here's the problem.
I have a smartform that prints a PM order (from IW32). If I choose the print preview option, the form prints perfectly and also hits any break points I have inserted into the smartform.
If, however, I simply click on the print button I now data seems to be getting passed to the smartform. All the fields are blank and I get a smartform with no data on it. It doesn't even stop at any break points I have set in either the ABAP print processing program or the smartform itself. Is this because it is processing the print in the background?
Is there any way I can force it to debug? Without the debugger I am struggling to find why no data is being passed to the smartform.

I have been playing around to try and tie down exactly where the problem is occuring.
It is due to the fact that no data is being passed to the smartform when print is pressed, only when print preview is pressed.
I have created a test smartform that displays a single field (in this case caufvd-aufnr) to check the fact.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- sign out and the sign back into Game Center
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 goes to sleep, but often wakes up when it shouldn't. This happens over and over. It used to sleep until I sent something to be printed. I now shut the printer down, but that takes a long time to start it up.

When you finally get around to looking at my post, never mind.
I reset the factory defaults on the printer and reauthorized my WiFi network.
Now it is working.

Podcasts are syncing when they shouldn't be

My iPod finally ran out of space so I wanted to remove some of the video podcasts from it. I have my podcast syncing set to sync the selected podcasts so I thought I could just uncheck the ones I didn't want to keep on my iPod and sync to remove them. That didn't work so I put my iPod in manual sync mode and removed them. I turned off the manual sync option and told it to sync again and it's copying all my podcasts (even the ones that aren't checked on the podcast tab). How do I make it stop so I can free up some space?

Ok, I can confirm that the problem doesn't affect music playlists.
I've also noticed that the files that get copied when they shouldn't take up more space than the ones that are supposed to be there. I noticed this by syncing, checking a podcast that was previously unchecked, then resyncing. It wasn't a lot of space, only around 10-25 mb.
I've also found a workaround to get the files off my iPod. I have the "Sync only checked songs and videos" option checked on the summary tab for my iPod in iTunes. I can uncheck each individual podcast that I don't want to be on my iPod, then resync and they are removed. So I guess the problem is only present on the Podcasts (possibly movies and tv shows too) tab of the iPod screen in iTunes.
Is there somewhere else I should go to submit a bug report?

Screen is blank when I click on the "Site" icon, no avenue to upload to an FTP. Help please

Trying to upload a website created through iWeb to an external host since MobileMe no longer an option. I Web is only linking to MobileMe when I click "publish". Researched instructions through the Apple tutorials and webs help sites, says to click on the "Site" icon, then a dropdown menu should appear. My screen in blank when I click on the "Site" icon. No options for loading to an FTP??? I have an external FTP purchased and ready to go, very frustrating. Thanks for any support!!!

iWeb 08 does not have that feature. You will need to upgrade to iWeb 3 in iLife 11 in order to get that feature. You can get iLife 11 at the online Apple Store while supplies last since iWeb (and iDVD) have been discontinued by Apple.
To pubish to an FTB server in iWeb 2 use the File ➙ Publish to Folder menu option and then use a 3rd party FTP client like Cyberduck to upload the site files.

InDesign CC interactive forms - PDF is blank when printed from any printer

Hello - I have created an interactive PDF form in InDesign CC, which appears to work perfectly. However, I cannot get it to print. It shows the information on the page in the print preview, but the page is completely blank when it prints to a printer.
In InDesign, I have double-checked that the ‘printable’ option is selected for all my buttons & it is saved as an interactive pdf. I have tried it on different printers, yet I still cannot figure out what’s going on. Even the logo or the title, which aren’t interactive, don’t print. The form is sent very nicely via e-mail, but we need to be able print out the filled in form on our end for our files.
Interestingly, when I save it as a regular PDF file, the information is there, however, all the interactive fields (text boxes and/or buttons) are missing.
I have narrowed it down to the ‘Submit via e-mail’ button that I created in InDesign. If I do not have the ‘Submit’ button, everything works and prints exactly how I want.
I am using Acrobat Standard X as my default PDF program.
I posted this question in the InDesign forum and was advised to ask my question here. Any insight anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Samsung 205BW goes blank when using DVI

I have a G4 Mac Mini. I recently purchased a [url="http://komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=322266"]Samsung 205BW 20in widescreen LCD monitor[/url].
I connected it via the DVI port on my mini with the DVI cable that came with the monitor and it seemed to work great but occasionally the screen will flick black as if there was nothing connected to it. It happens most noticeably when I go from a fullscreen quicktime video to the desktop or if I activate Expose. Also if the Mini goes to sleep and I try to wake it the screen stays black and I either have to reboot or change to using the VGA cable.
The monitor works perfectly if I use a DVI-VGA adaptor and connect to the VGA port on the monitor but I'd prefer to use DVI.....
I read on here of people using SwitchResX to change the settings for the monitor. I downloaded it but I don't really know what to input in the custom settings... perhaps someone here can help?

I had the exact problem you report with my core duo Mac Mini connected to a Syncmaster 204B. This problem persisted when I returned the monitor several times to Samsung for replacement 204B's. They eventually upgraded me to a refurbished 204T and the problem disappeared.
It seems to me that Samsung has some real problems with screen blanking when their monitors are hooked by DVI to certain Macintoshes. For anyone contemplating a Samsung monitor, I'd recommend another brand until it's known that this screen blanking problem has been resolved with all Samsung models.

I'm hoping that someone out there has experienced the following (and
knows why it is happening. ) :-)
I have a couple of windows on which the AfterValueChange event is
triggered on a field upon hitting the delete key.
We all know that this should only happen upon leaving the field, ie. the
field loosing focus. The problem is that I'm trying to recreate this in
a simple test class, but now it won't happen. I still have the original
windows on which it is happening, but I would like to construct
something small and simple to send to Forte.
Any ideas as to why this could be happening?

Thanks for the replies so far, but this is not the problem. I know about
the "Validate on keystroke" option and it is definitely swithed off.
I was rather thinking along the lines of this being be a 'funny' in
Forte. Has anyone seen this before? Here is more information:
1) The windows that it is happening on all have parent windows.
2) The fields with this problem are all part of a mapped gridfield, ie.
it has a type.
However, I have constructed a test class with these characteristics, but
it is no good. There must be something else that could cause this. Any
ideas?

Mail ok in preview and blank when tapped

My mail accounts were working fine until 2 days ago. I've done nothing different. Now I can see mails as they arrive in preview in the inbox but the message is blank when opened. If I then open it in Outlook it's fine. It doesn't seem to be displaying messages and I can't write messages either for same reason. Help anyone?

Hello yosmt! I've researched the operation you've mentioned (changing the proximity settings on the Cosmos Touch) and can't find any data on it. I can tell you this: If you're dialing to your voicemail or any other Interactive voice response system, the display should remain illuminated while the phone is held at a distance from the human face for at least 5 seconds. If your phone isn't doing that, then we have to discuss options other than changing settings. If you want, you can send me a personal message through the forum.
