Authentication when Exposing EJB as a webservice

Hello,
can anybody advice me on how to expose a webservice for an ejb on the CE plattform, that requires authentication from the consumer.
In earlier EJB EP7 implementation I had the possiblity to work with the webservice configuration and define it in the security section.
This feature I miss, when I use @webservice annotation?
Thanks in advance.
Regards, Jens

got it...
if you run into the same problem,here's the solution
go to nwa --> configuration management --> infrastructure and then to the
webservice configuration section...
the rest is straight forward.
best regards, Jens

    Hi Jitu,
    I changed the wsdl. And so I dont get the warning anymore. My Webservice also runs well, now. Thanks anyway for the reply.
    There is a nice tech article on the sun network, which solved my problem. The basic idea is to split the wsdl into 2 wsdl documents. one containing all the porttypes messages and so on. And the other wsdl contains the binding and service elements.
    If you are interested check out this link:

    I forgot my iCloud password, and i can not reset it with email authentication, when i do it, i don't receive any mail from Apple

    If you don't know your password, don't know your security questions and don't have a rescue address or don't receive a reset email, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
    If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.

  • Exposing business services as webservices

    Hi All,
    Im new to webservices.I have a running java web application.
    I need to expose some methods as webservices.
    Can it be possible to create a single ear file,using which i can access webapplication and webservice wsdl file and how
    Regards,
    Bhuvan.

    Yes, you can mix different type of J2EE artifacts in a single application. The easiest way to do this may be to use JDeveloper 10g (or the 11g Tech Preview) and to build you web service application, then add the remaining of you web application into the same project.
    Hope it helps,

    Try resetting your phone by holding down the home and off button until the apple symbol comes up. Then if still doing, restore your phone in itunes from your backup.

    Hi SSRS required authentication when enter in Firefox an safari, work fine in IE, GOOGLE AND OPERA

    I want only configure in server, not in client side.

    I have done this configuration for safari:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/22108080/cant-connect-to-ssrs-in-php
    If you are using default values, you can copy the minimum element structure:

    But this required credentials in other browsers and when reset the server throw error.

  • EJBUtils.cloneObject(...) takes long time when calling EJB's

    hi,
    using OC4J 10.1.3 in windows XP.
    I have a servlet that calls a local stateless EJB (UserManagerBean) (2.1 version) and the EJB calls a second local stateless EJB (UserPersistorBean). The last one does a JDBC query and the result is returned to the servlet. The servlet call takes about 19.5 seconds (in my PC) to execute. Using a profiler, I have detected that EJBUtils.cloneObject(...) is called two times (one for each EJB) and it takes about 18 seconds (every time the servlet call is done, not only the first time !). The JDBC calls it only takes 1.171 seconds.
    here is the trace call showed in the profiler: (time is breaked down in each call)
    -servlet call time to execute= 19.500
    --UserManager_StatelessSessionBeanWrapper18.searchAll(Query)  time to execute= 19.500
    ----com.evermind.server.ejb.StatelessSessionEJBObject.OC4J_invokeMethod(MethodState, Object[], ThreadState) time to execute= 10.750
    ------com.nte.anthema.security.UserManagerBean.searchAll(Query) time to execute= 10.750
    --------UserPersistor_StatelessSessionBeanWrapper16.searchAll(Query) time to execute= 10.750
    ----------com.evermind.server.ejb.EJBUtils.cloneObject(Object, AbstractEJBHome) time to execute= 9.578 (related with UserPersistorBean)
    ----------com.evermind.server.ejb.StatelessSessionEJBObject.OC4J_invokeMethod(MethodState, Object[], ThreadState) time to execute= 1.171
    -------------com.nte.anthema.security.persistence.UserPersistorBean.searchAll(Query) time to execute= 1.171
    ----com.evermind.server.ejb.EJBUtils.cloneObject(Object, AbstractEJBHome) time to execute= 8.750 (related with UserManagerBean)
    Any idea why EJBUtils.cloneObject is executed every time these EJB are called ? I have other EJB's and EJBUtils.cloneObject(...) is not executed when that EJB's aree called.
    Any help ?
    Thanks !

    It's loading the code insight. Since you have such a large number of objects you may want to turn this off.

  • Expose EJB through Java Bean model importer in Web Dynpro

    Hi,
    I am planning to expose EJB like following:
    1. Create Stateless session bean as a façade for DAO access.
    2. Create DAO to access database. In my case is Oracle DB
    3. Create Java Bean to encapsulate session bean
    4. Import java bean model to web dynpro
    Few of my business method return the object array e.g. Customer[] which contains all properties of customer, and getter, setter.
    Has anyone done this before? Is there any sample code?
    Best Regards,

  • Reg:pojo datacontrol not functioning wehn exposed as proxy for webservice.

    Hi ,
    I have a class which sets the request and header part and for this data control is created and hence works fine when worked by dragging to page.
    Sample :
    Class1{
    function setheader (){  ....  }
    function setrequest() { .... }
    function invokeservice(){
    Class1 objClass = new Class();
    objClass .setheader();
    objClass .setrequest();
    } ----------- this works fine.
    But when I use setters in different class, that works through normal run(executingjava class). But not functioning when exposed as data control.
    Class1{
    function invokeservice(){
    Class2 objClass = new Class();
    objClass .setheader();
    objClass .setrequest();
    Class2{
    function setheader (){  ....  }
    function setrequest() { .... }
    This doesnt function. I want to know the reason for not working, because by this only we can edit the validations of data control attributes , which is not possible in the earlier one.
    Regards,
    Dinesh Vishnu Kumar C.

    I didn't clearly understand the question. If the question is , both Class1 and Class2 are exposed as data control and used in a page, and then you want to update Class2 properties from Class1 then the approach you took is wrong
    You cannot instantiate data control instance of Class2 as you are trying, rather you may need to use binding API to set the value or to get hold of the instnace. See the code snippet given here http://biemond.blogspot.in/2009/03/some-handy-code-for-backing-beans-adf.html
    If you have some method to initialize the properties and this method is added page def as method action ,then following will work
    // get the binding container
    BindingContainer bindings = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
    // get an Action or MethodAction
    OperationBinding method = bindings.getOperationBinding("someMethodAction");
    Map paramsMap = method.getParamsMap();
    paramsMap.put("param1","value1") ;
    paramsMap.put("param2","value2") ;
    method.execute();

  • Enforce AnyConnect client to do machine authentication when user is logged on

    Hi All,
    I want to use AnyConnect as a supplicant to our corporate WLAN and also use Machine Authentication feature on ACS 5.3.
    Is there a way how to enforce AnyConnect client to do machine authentication when user is logged on? Sometimes can happen, when user just hybernate the computer and do not log off and log on. If they don't do this in some period, then they are not allowed to use WLAN.
    Thanks for your help.
    Regards
    Karel

    The problem appears to be if a user hibernate or ACS is reloaded and machine authentication  timer expired and user need to logout and wait or reboot the machine. After that it authenticates and then user can login again.  Anyconnect 3.1 will allow eap chainging and should be able to address that problem.

  • Exposing OIM APIs as webservice

    Hi,
    I wanted to know if i can expose OIM APIs as webservice?
    As per my reqmnt, i need to implement forgot password and change password functionality for OIM users from a portal application.
    So wanted to know if I can use OIM APIs say getChallengeValuesForSelf , compareChallengeValuesForSelf, changePasswordForSelf and then expose them as webservice?

    Can I do this...
    Create a WebService using NetBeans Editor...
    In it add a web method, which basically is using OIM API say getChallengeValuesForUser to fetch some value and then returning it as output of this web method?
    I'll be setting all the system properties required for calling OIM API here itself and also would make the connection to OIM here.
    I tried doing so, but getting an exception while I try to deploy the webservice,
    com.sun.xml.ws.model.RuntimeModelerException: The web service defined by the class weblogic.wsee.async.AsyncResponseBeanSoap12 does not contain any valid WebMethods.
    Kindly suggest.

    Process exited with exit code 0.
    Can anyone help me what might be the reason. If you need more information, I can post it in the next.

    Hi,
    Can you just check your end point URL, and try with appending user name and password at the end of it as parrameters like http://<end point URL>&UserName=admin&Password=admin.
    Other wise check the SOAP request which is going to server using any tool as SOAP UI.

  • Exposing DB adapter as webservice

    Hi ,
    Is it possible to expose DB adapter as webservice?
    Thanks,
    Ramesh

    Yes it is possible. Create a new project in Jdeveloper. Create new dbadatpter. Then create a deployment profile and deploy it to the server.
    Alternatively, if the dbadapter is deployed with the BPEL process, go to the BPEL Console and click the process. Click on the Descriptors tab and you can see a link to the wsdl of the dbadapter there.
