Authorization Object Related To Movement Type

Hi,
I meet one problem, one user want to check which user can use MB1A t-code with movement type 201 and 202, but I know there are some authorization object related to movement type and I want to use suim with mb1a t-code and authorization object to check the user, but I don't know the authorization object about movement type in MB1A t-code, does anyone can help?

Go to SU24, enter the transaction code and press execute.
Here you can see the all authorization object whose are used for the transaction code MB1C.

STO CREATED IN 1001 PLANT
IN THIS suppling plant : 2001 & Recieving plant : 1001
Now, suppling plant has to do 351 movement type & Recieving plant has to do 101 movement type.
Now my doubt is receving plant should not do 351 movement type.
but it shows that my 1001 plant (receving plant) doing 351 MOVEMENT TYP.
Logically it should not do this.
So , How to restrict 351 movement type for created STO for self plant in self plant?

if your 1001 plant never needs a 351 movement, then dont assign the 351 together with 1001 in these objects for roles that are used in 1001 plant.
But if 1001 needs to perform as well a 351 to any other plant, then you cannot use authorization to restirct it.

Authorization object related to PRT Delete

Some user is not able to delete PRT assigned to the operation.
Whether any authorization object related to PRT is there so that i can check roles for user .

Anil,
Get the user to try to delete the PRT.
Then the user should type /nSU53 in the command field.
This will produce a report with the missing authorization object(s)

Authorization object for manual condition type in sale order

Hi experts
I want ask them, If exist an authorization object for manual Condition type (KOMV-KSCHL) in the sales order (VA01/VA02), that the user don' t can create neither modify the sale orden with a specific manual condition type (payment term) by stardard way.

I would be surprised to know that someone uses the Payment terms as a condition in the Pricing procedure for sales orders. The payment terms define when the customer agrees to pay, (15, 20, 45 ,....days or 5 years or 10 years....whatever it be)
this detail for what i know is in the sales order header,and ideally has nothing to do with the Item level material price conditions.
its ok, If you mean something else by payment terms.....in principle you can have a conditon type restrcited such that manual entries on the condition are not possible. this cane be done in SPRO customizing, i am sure your functional consultants would know what to do (SPRO->Sales and Distribution->Basic Function->Condition Types), in the tab "Changes that can be made" have a value that says manual Processing is not allwowed
The ABAP route mentioned above is for a different scenarion and i dont think it is necessary for your requirement

Authorization object - dump on field type due to character

As i have created an Authorization object
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'YINF_BYTE'
ID 'Y_BYTE_CON' FIELD lv_byte_count.
While creating the authorization field ('Y_BYTE_CON' ), the data type I defined is ABAP_MSIZE.Similarly the type of the variable('LV_BYTE_COUNT) i am passing to the authorization object
is of the same type (i.e.,ABAP_MSIZE).
I am getting an syntax error 'LV_BYTE_COUNT must be a Character type field',Please help me out in resolving this.

Authorization Object for specific Output types maintained via MN11 & MN12

Hello,
I was looking to see if we could limit the access of users so that they can change only specific output types (see T-code NACE) when using transaction code MN12. specifically only LPH1 (standard SA output type). I'm not seeing anything within the system, and I can't seem to find anything via SNC which describes this, so I am wondering if this there is nothing like this/
Is anyone aware of something for this or a potential solution if an authorization object doesnt exist?

Relation between movement type and Schedule Line Item Cat

I have a situation for Return Sales Order, there's two lines items with
*Item Cat                      Schedule Line Item Cat         Stock
REN(Normal)                 YN (Returns 657)                 Blocked
RENN (Free Goods)      DN (Returns)                        Return Stock
Question is, the user would like all the return stock to be posted to Block stock which should be using movement type 657. How can I configure this.

SPRO/IMG/Sales and Distribution/Sales/Schedule Lines/Assign Schedule Line Categories
Don't change movement type of standard Item cat DN.

Authorization of movement types

Dear All,
I want to restrict users for Movement type, Material type wise.
As per requirement ROH materials will pass through the 103,105 (quality check cycle) during procurement.
For HIBE material quality check (103,105) is not required. GRN will be done through 101.
Problem is - The same person is to be authorize for the above scenarios.
With u201CM_MSEG_BWE -Goods Receipt for Purchase Order: Movement Type objectu201D we can authorize user for particular movement type. But how to do this for the above case.

Hi,
You can make the quality managenet view active for the material for which you want to do quality check, maitain this field in material master for ROH material , and dont make this field for other materials select the check box post to quality inspection in the QM view in material master, then you can do all GR with movment type 101, but the materials for which you have maintain QM view will get post to quality stock.

Inform your basis personnel to modify the authorization object -
M_MSEG_BWA Goods Movements: Movement Type
To ensure that the field BWART does not contain the movement type which you want to block. This will ensure that users will not be able to use this movement type.

Authorization object L_LGNUM

Dear colleagues,
I am trying to restrict a user from doing a certain 'thing' and am looking for your help.
In Warehouse Management we are confirming Transfer Orders in Two steps. I want the user that does the first step, not to be able to confirm the second step.
In GUI mode this would be done with transaction LT12 for both the first and second step.
In RF mode we do this with LM05 for the first step and LM06 for the second step.
In table LTAP-ENAME the system writes the name of the user of the first step. In table LTAP-QNAME the user name of the second step.
So far I have removed in object L_LGNUM the destination Storage Type (which is part of the second step).
This was to no avail. I must admit that this storage type is not part of the verification process, i.e. it does not need to be verified/scanned, but still I would expect the user being blocked from confirming a document with this storage type.
Do you have any suggestions?

*)C_PRPS_ART     you can use this object to control who can access WBS elements in the PS depending on the project type,
*)C_PRPS_KOK     you can use this object to control who can access WBS elements in the PS depending on the controlling area assigned to them,
*)C_PRPS_KST      you can use this object to control who can access WBS elements in the PS depending on the responsible cost center for the WBS elements,
*)C_PRPS_PRC       you can use this object to control who can access WBS elements in the PS depending upon the profit center ,
*)C_PRPS_USR       This authorization object is intended as a "master" for you to copy from when you create your own company-specific authorization objects for WBS elements, activities and activity elements.
*)C_PRPS_VNR     You can use this authorization object to control who has access to the WBS elements in the Project System depending on the person responsible for the project ("project manager").
    The best way to search for authorization object as i prefer is the use the tcode SUIM.

MRS - authorization objects (Multi Resource Scheduling)

Hello,
We are implementing MRS for a customer who does not have proper structural authorizations in place, and they would like to avoid using evaluation paths for the authorization check.
Is there a way to use cost centers to limit user access in MRS? We tried to use cost centers in auth. object MRSS/PB1, but it does not work.
Is it possible to modify the default MRS auth. objects and add some extra auth. fields? Would that auth. check work in planning board?
Is there any other way to limit user access in MRS planning board rather than using evaluation paths?

I have checked the authorization objects related to MRSS in SU24 where I can see based on the T code. Did you find a way how to get relevant for SAP MRS only like the Resource Planner etc authorizations he need if you have found something like that please share.

You have to first make that particular standard task as General forwarding not allowed. After this in the Task level you have to assign the Authorization role to this Task. Now if the user tries to forward workitem to user who is not maintained in this role he will not be able to do so.
