Auto disappearing content using Refresh header?

Hi,
We're pushing a CiscoIPPhoneExecute to a phone. The phone requests the page (CiscoIPPhoneText) in the execute request.
The requested page needs to allow the user to respond to a question. If the user doesn't answer to the question, the question should disappear.
Can we cause the page to disappear after a set amount of seconds? I've tried a Refresh with url 30; Init:Services, but this doesn't work.
Does anyone have an idear on how to make the page disappear after x seconds?

Hi! I'm having the same issue but I'm sure I'm doing right. I mean, HTTP-REFRESH is working as expected with IP Communicator but not within the physical device: Cisco 7960G Firmware: 8.0(9.0).
The device responds with: "HOST NOT FOUND" and after more tries it finally stays with the prompt message: "HTTP ERROR[12]".
I'm also implementing a feature similar to yours: like a pop-up window.
Which device/firmware are you using?

Table of contents using cfdocument

Good day,
I've been trying to create a table of contents using
cfdocument. I've been unsuccessful in extracting the page number
out of the document. I know they are reserved for that scope, but
i've tried copying the value into an application variable and
accessing it on a different page to no avail. I've tried to
increment a basic counter, can't seem to get that to work either.
If anyone has any experience in this, please help me out.

I'm not sure you understood my post. I was able to do exactly as you did -- create a master page with a frame and the section marker character (which shows as "section" on the master page) and then add the actual marker text in the numbering and section options. The correct text appears on the live document page.
When I tried to make a TOC the text was not picked up UNTIL I selected and overrode that master frame onto the document page (Ctrl + Shift + Click on Windows or Cmd + Shift + Click on Mac on the frame you want to override). Once overridden, the text appeared as expected in the TOC.
You are correct about the page number for that page. You can use a different master without a page number, or you can override and delete the number frame from the master page. I presume you will either use a different master for the first page and following pages of any section to avoid having the marker appear on all pages, or you can override only the first page so that you don't repeat entries in the TOC for every page in each section. If you are using the Section Marker as a running header you might want to read about Running Header Variables in the Help files instead. In many ways the use of a variable might be simpler and more straightforward.

Receiver file Content Conversion with Header line

Hi,
Here I am doing receiver file content conversion with header line.
I am able to get the output file correct, when I open the file in notepad the header line and data appearing in the same line (not accepted).
But when I tried to open the name file in internet explorer I can see the header line and data in two different lines (accepted).
What should I do I want to see the same output in the notepad?
Please help me out.

You can use NameA.addHeaderLine.
Specify whether the text file will have a header line with column names. The following values are permitted:
0 u2013 No header line
1 u2013 Header line with column names from the XML document
2 u2013 As for 1, followed by a blank line
3 u2013 Header line is stored as NameA.headerLine in the configuration and is applied
4 u2013 As for 3, followed by a blank line

Cursor disappears when using Photoshop, anyone else?

My cursor disappears when using Photoshop, I have to leave the program to get it back. Happens constantly since installing 10.8.3.
Was fine for years, until I upgraded my OS

NEW, 1ST TIME POST
I'd like to see some real effort on the part of Apple to 1) address the issue and 2) post a fix.
I've been using the same equipment for several years (27" iMac and a Wacom Intous4). Everything was lovely until 'upgrading' to the latest OS… The cursor dissappears at will. I can NOT predict the event, only that I have only found it occurring in Photoshop.
Contacted Wacom. No help there.
I got VERY tired of having to close PS to get the cursor back. My tablet is hard-wired and my keyboard is an Apple wireless. Of course, w/o a cursor, how are you going to click on anything… Keyboard worked, but not the Wacom. Finally got out my wireless [Apple] mouse, fired it up, and used it as a 'backup' (for crashing my way out of PS). The mouse never interferred with operation. THOUGHT it was a Wacom problem, because I've yet to create the event with a normal mouse. I admit I rarely, RARELY use a mouse. Seems that I can't draw with a rock…
Aggravated by the lack of interest across the board, I discovered quite by accident one day a work-around: flip to a different desktop and then right back. Voila. Cursor is back. I've got 4 desktops available, so it is a quick CTL + arrow. My work-around works for me WITHOUT FAIL. Pay attention Apple/Adobe/Wacom. Apparently something here is refreshing whatever and solving the problem. Until the next time, of course.
Apple - Adobe - Wacom, please don't think we're 'satisfied' and we'll fix it in the NEXT mulit-thousand dollar computer/OS/tablet purchase. I love the products, but with this latest OS, you have a perfect storm of bugs (don't ask me about dropping the Internet DAILEY, s-l-o-w to non-existent blutooth connectivity, new 3D weird actions or [insert drumroll] 'THE CLOUD').
Call any of those listed and get ready for a raft of denial and finger-pointing. I admit, you quickly find yourself somewhere like the Phillipines or India, trying to talk to someone who can't converse with you in you own language, but that is NOT the fault of us, the end-users.
Finally: 'Caps lock'? Please. Give the guy SOME credit. Maybe the light was burnt out on the keyboard?
C'mon. Get with it guys!! Denial mixed with 'passing the buck' is not an answer. And you want MORE MONEY out of me?????

h1 The Use Of Header Tags

I'm becoming more aware of the importance of using header tags to help the visually impaired navigate your site. Obviously the main header should be wrapped in an <h1> tag, however after that does it flow from <h1> all the way to <h6>, and what if you have more than six paragraphs to we return to using <h1> and go through them all again.
Or do we stick with <h2> all the way down the page.

The proper use of heading tags <h1> - <h6> depends on your content. I never use more than one <h1> tag per page, reserved for the page title, and often only use up to h2 and h3 because my pages are mostly limited to one topic.
An example might look like this:

<p>Here is some text</p>
<h2>HTML</h2>
<p>Here is some text</p>
<h2>CSS</h2>
<p>Here is some text</p>
     <h3>CSS Hacks</h3>

Use as many tags as needed, but don't overcrowd your pages with them. I like to think of heading tags as an outline to my page.

OSB - Content length http header missing from business service out message

Hi all,
I am having some diffuclty with a business service in OSB. I created the business service from the wsdl and created a regular proxy service that just routes to the business service. When i run the test console i get the below fault.
<faultcode>soapenv:Server</faultcode>
<faultstring>BEA-380000: Length Required</faultstring>

After some debugging i find that the content length http header is missing from the outbound message the business process creates and sends to the acutal web service which sends back the http 411 fault.
Does anyone know how to configure the message flow of my proxy service to ensure that the outbound message sent from the business service contains that content length http header or any suggestions on how to fix this issue will be appreciated.

Disable the "Use Chunked Streaming Mode" property in HTTP Transport Configuration of your business service. By default it remains enabled.

Hi Vivek,
To you may create on demand sub report.
In main report only the link will be shown when you click on the link the sub report will be opened in a new tab.
It can be placed in a Group header and to show the data for that particular group only.
Click on the Help menu in the crystal Reports Designer and open the Crystal Reports Help
Go to Index tab and type in subreport
Select Creating On demand you will get lot of information on that.
Please let us know if that is enough to solve your problem

How do I ensure I do not get these auto translated content offered by Microsoft?

Hi,
What I find really irritating is getting auto translated content offered by Microsoft.
For me it would be much easier if all content was in English, and not have it offered in crippled Dutch.
I can't imagine other people being happy to have familiar acronyms and abbreviations translated into letter combinations nobody uses in their native language.
How do I switch it off? Permantly for all Microsoft channels?
Would be very helpfull in keeping my bloodpressure low.

I haven't seen the garbage translation bug on forums for awhile.
Is this in the Library?
It's not your language settings in the upper right, is it.

I already had that done IE. I had duet already chosen as input and output etc etc.
The problem seemed to be the issue that was addressed by Eriksimon:
(( ctrl-click the track Header.))
Following that advice gave me a drop down menu which allowed the various buttons to be
checked and unchecked.

I would like to replace URLs in content and location header of response with the hostname of Azure API Management instance. There is a policy(Mask URLs in content) which helps in doing so but I could not find an example anywhere on how to use this policy
to replace specific URLs.

Basically, it will replace the location header of response as well as URLs in the body that has the host name of the backend.

Zoom area, content and talking head

Hi all-
Here's what I'm trying to do. I have a talking head video and normal text content on my slide. I want to alternate between showing the talking head video and the normal text content. I was hoping that i could use the zoom area to zoom in and out depending on if it was more important for the learner to see the content or the talking head at that moment. The zoom area works well for the zooming in piece, but it doesn't zoom out nicely (just kinda jumps back to the main screen where both content and talking head are shown.) I toyed around with including the talking head in the TOC, but then I can't seem to zoom in on the video at all.
The other issue I seem to be running in to is that the video is less clear when I zoom in to it.
Any ideas on how I should be approaching this?

We are having this same problem but just for Mac users. Mac
users can see video if the presentation is published locally and
moved to web server but not if published to ConnectPro
server.

Pasted image into gmail disappears when using Safari
I recently upgraded to Mavericks (after having a lot of seemingly unrelated trouble with my Macbook Pro (early 2011))
Since then, when I create a new message in gmail, and paste in a screen shot (captured with command-control-shift-4), the image shows up nicely. But after I hit send, the image disappears. It doesn't show up to the recipient, and when I look at my sent mail, it doesn't show up there either. There's nothing, no icon showing where the image should be, just empty space in the message. This seems to happen in Safari, but seems to works fine when creating the message in Chrome. (please, restrain yourself from telling me "Duh. Use Chrome." I know it's tempting, but my computer has some issues and Chrome doesn't always work.) If I create the same sort of message in Chrome, and then go to Safari gmail, I can see the image just fine. So it appears to be something about keeping the image attached to the content of the message while sending (vs. a viewing problem).
I know when Mavericks was installed, I had to install something in Safari for Adobe docs to show up again. Is there something I need to install so that images will stay attached to the content of gmail messages again?

After you click Download (the attachment) from your Safari menu bar click Window / Downloads.
Right or control click the file in the Downloads window then click: Show in Finder
I'm not sure if you can designate another folder for downloading web based attachments to, however, instead of accessing your Gmail
account using Safari, you can set up the Gmail account from the Mail app on your hard drive. Mail preferences allow you to choose the

Auto playing content slider

I have a flash website and am trying to create a content slider on the home page (similar to this: http://magazine.wsj.com/). I have found many javascript and jquery plugins for wordpress, css, etc. but am not sure if these can also be used on a flash site. If they can, where do they go. If not, any ideas on how to create an auto playing content slider in flash?

javascript and jquery are not Flash related so you cannot incorporate them into a Flash design. If you are not proficient enough in Flash to know what design elements you need and how to implement them, you'll need to either find a tutorial (Google is a good resource), become proficient enough with Flash to know what elements need to be incorporated, or hire someone to create it for you.
Designing one can be a fairly complex process depending on desired features. Though the controls can require more attention than the slideshow functionality. Try searching Google for "AS3 slideshow tutorial". While you might not get exactly what you want, you should be able to bend something into it.

Printers deployed by Group Policy Preferences disappeared during GP refresh processing

I am testing deployment of print queues using GP preference. All clients are Win 7. Replace mode is used so that the print queues can be updated if they are renamed on server side. Also set to remove the printers when GP is out of scope. I found that all
the printers disappeared during GP refresh processing which happens every 90 to 120 mins by default. Then repopulated. As most of them are utilizing HP universal print driver so the repopulation usually take 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
To stop the refresh I attempt to set maxnogpolistchangesinterval registry value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GPExtensions\{BC75B1ED-5833-4858-9BB8-CBF0B166DF9D} to 960 (16 hours). As users shutdown computer
daily so this should eliminate the refresh processing on printers. But the reg key can be writted only by SYSTEM. Administrators have read access only. Looks like anything under the key should not be modified.
Is there something I can set so that printer processing happens only during computer startup?
