Auto-login of hotspot cause authentication failed

My iphone will auto-login to oauth page such as weibo(see below file) when I connect to a hotspot.
But when I click "login" button after input right user information, it'll pop up a new page using safari and
then authentication failed (my wifi signal will disconnect at that time). It will successfully pass authentication
only when authentication process is inside auto-login page and not pup up a new page using safari.
My issue is how to avoid the procedure that pop up a new page using safari.
Sincerely hope your reply. Thanks a lot.

    Agreed with all above pointers.
I think you have to raise SR with oracle, because it is prod environment.
If you still want to do some R&D.
    1. Also check this URL might help, but not sure.

    2. Restart all servers (along with Admin server and DB).

  • User Authentication failed on configuring LDAP

    Hi,
I had configured MS ADS ReadOnly Deep Hierarchy + Database as my datasource. earlier it was "Database only". Once I did new configuration to ADS+Database, the test connection was succesfull and then restarted the server.
When I try to login it says user authentication failed. When I check for particular loginId say "testuser" in User Administration it gave 2 results for the same login ID one coing from UME and the other from LDAP.
To resolve this conflict do I need to delete one of the login ID from either UME or LDAP, or is there any other solution where I can resolve this issue.
    Regards,
    Ravi.

    Ravi
If the user id is same in the portal UME as well as LDAP there will be conflict and you need to delete the id at one place or if you want both you need to change the id.
    Thanks

  • Authentication Failed error message on browser while login to author instance

    Hi,
I ran backup on author and publish instance after datastore garbage collector.
It went fine on publish instance and created backup file succesfully.
But at some point of time backup failed on author instance and we tried to login on author instance we got cq5 console on browser.
After that we checked replication agent on author and wheni clicked to publish we got error page saying Class not found exception.
after some time we just bounced the author instance we got startup completed message ver quickly and not started all the bundles(started only 121 bundles).
Tried to login author instance on browser it was showing Authentication Failed message.
Please helpout in resolving this issue.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Mahesh

I did not really understand what the problem with the domain/hostname or so is you mentioned but lets set it aside and assume that it doesnt cause any further problems for now.
    About your questions:
    1) With which user do you try to login?
"amadmin" is default name for the administrative user.
Did you rename him or do you try to log in with another user?
"amadmin" is probably the only user which "works" just after installing.
When you go to portal/dt, are you logged in or are you on the anonymous desktop? If you did not make any changes you shold get either a login channel or a Userinfo channel.
This way you should be able to see if you are logged in.
    Also important for you:
Logfiles for access manager and portal are by default placed in the folder /var/opt/SUNWam/. There is a debug and logs folder.
These loggings are most of the time more helpfull than the directory server logs.
To get a finer logging edit the file /etc/opt/SUNWam/AMConfig.properties
There is a line "...=error". Replace error with message and restart the webserver/appserver-domain.

  • I'm trying to connect through the FTP client Filezilla. When I try to login with the wizard, it gives me a "503 Failure of Data Connection" reply; when I attempt to login myself, it gives me a "530 Login Authentication Failed." HELP!!!

When I attempt to login Host/Username/Password myself I get the following message:

Now before anyone points out the obvious: my username and password are correct. I've already gone through changing them so I know they are.
Additionally, I've pretty much tried EVERYTHING I've read online, from messing with "terminal" (and subsequently the FTP and STFP options) to changing the sharing options and turning on file sharing/remote management as well as just turning off my Firewall completely.
Now I've used Filezilla before when I first published my site and everything worked fine. My site is published through Wordpress so most of my editing was done through simply logging into my "wp-login." I recently changed the theme and in order to change the header image in that theme I have to do it through my "wp-content" folder, which means I need to use Filezilla. I feel like a complete moron right now considering I've had my site for about a year and can't even doing something this simple.
I've read that the newer version of Lion/Mountain Lion don't support automatice FTP anymore, which (as I mentioned prior) I attempted to fix through Terminal. However, nothing I do seem to do works.
Can someone walk me through fixing this? And I do mean 'walk me through'. I'm not a tech-savvy nerd who knows all the lingo, I just know the basics so sorry if my ignorance offends you.
    HELP!!

First be sure login and password are OK. Sometimes the address starts wit "http://..." and sometime starts with "ftp://...". Try both normal FTP access and Scure FTP access (SFTP). At the end, contact the site's provider.

  • "invalid password "on Iweb Test. and on SEO Tool, Login Failed Login Authentication Failed, ALL SETTING ARE CORRECT HELP

I have been updating my site over the last week, using Iweb SEO TOOL, but suddenly 2 days ago I can no longer update when i go to publish it says "invalid password "on Iweb Test. and on SEO Tool, Login Failed Login Authentication Failed, the password and all settings are correct.
I am 100% sure the all the setting are correct, as it has been working for the last 7 months and I have just been updating it, then suddenly it stopped, I have all the FTP settings wrote down, and even changed the passwords twice hoping that may work to no avail.

    Try the following:
delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
    launch iWeb and try again.
If that doesn't help continue with:
move the domain file from your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
launch iWeb, create a new test site, save the new domain file and close iWeb.
go to the your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
    launch iWeb and try again.

  • IPhone Hotspot auto login deoesn't work anymore

The auto login function to my tmobile Hotspot has worked for over 1 year without any problem on my iPhone 4.
After migration to ios 5 / ios 5.1 the function doesn't work any more and i have to login manually, each time.
I use the same iPhone, telekom phone number, telekom login account id, telekom account password.
The manual login works without problem.
Nothing else has changed, but the ios upgrade.
So it seams to be a bug in the ios upgrade.

  • Windows NT Authentication Auto-login

    Hi,
If we use APEX Listener, then would it be possible to provide auto-login facility to APEX applications based on user-NT id's
    Regards,
    Hari

    Hi Hari,
    I guess this won't work with the current release of the APEX Listener, as it doesn't support the CGI-Environment necessary for such operations. You can follow a similar issue (NTLM-authentication) here: {thread:id=2125018}
There exist some Java NTLM-Implementations you could try use to create a servlet that does the header-exchange for you. Currently, there seems to be no out-of-the-box-solution for that issue. I bookmarked the following page for the case the problem may become urgent:
    http://jcifs.samba.org/src/docs/ntlmhttpauth.html
I was hoping to find the time to create that kind of servlet, but as there's no customer need at the moment (all NTLM-users still use OHS), there hasn't been an assignment for that yet. Perhaps one of the following Listener releases includes the support for custom header exchange.

I fixed the permissions on /var/lib/gdm/.config/dconf from 755 to 700 (since pacman complained during the update) and I tried removing and reinstalling gdm.
No luck so far... Will keep trying.

  • Help, Authentication failed

I am having a very difficult time making a simple login program work
I am using Java SDK 1.4.2_02 on a Windows 2000 host, the DS is on the same host
My Directory Server is Sun One Directory Server 5.2
I am using the JAAS package, with a JndiLoginModule
When I use a bogus uid I get a user not found message so I know I am contacting the DS correctly
The Access log looks like this
    [09/Dec/2003:13:09:52 -0600] conn=1606 op=0 msgId=1 - BIND dn="" method=128 version=3

My config file looks like this

    com.sun.security.auth.module.JndiLoginModule required debug=true

         group.provider.url="ldap//localhost:4661/ou=Group,dc=auto-trol,dc=com";
The error I get is this:

It appears to me that there must be some kind password problem, I can login from the 5.2 console or switch user ids from the console so I know the user and Directory Server are OK.
Can anyone help? Ive been pounding on this for a few days and it is getting frustrating.
    Thanks in advance
    Jim

Here it is along with some bat files to make and run. I can't understand why it does not work. It is mostly a slightly modified example from Sun. I'm using Sun code, a Sun Directory Server and a Sun's JndiLoginModule so why the damn thing does not work is a mystery. I have looked EVERYWHERE for a sample JAAS/LDAP Authenicate code and can't find a thing. Makes me think there isn't any and JAAS is not the way to go. I and going to try with a different DS maybe open LDP or active Directory and if that doesn't work I'll forget JAAS and use JNDI instead.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks in advance
    jim

We faced a similar problem recently and we would like to document the solution for it. The root cause of the problem was traced to the absence of certain index configurations in the Directory Server. Because of this Access Manager was unable to fetch certain data from the backend directory during authentication.
At the time of configuration, Access Manager creates certain indexes in the LDAP Directory under the node: cn=index,cn=<databaseName>,cn=ldbm database,cn=plugins,cn=config.
where <databaseName> is the name of the database storing your Access Manager tree e.g. userRoot.
The indexes are created from the file - /etc/opt/SUNWam/config/ldif/index.ldif.
So if you are facing authentication failure problem - please cross check against the index.ldif file and verify the creation of each index. If index on a specific attribute is missing follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
    * Use ldapmodify to upload the file /etc/opt/SUNWam/config/ldif/index.ldif onto each DS instance
    ldapmodify -h <host> -p <port> -D "cn=directory manager" -w <pwd> -a -c -f /etc/opt/SUNWam/config/ldif/index.ldif
    * Run the command db2index.pl to generate new set of indexes to be maintained by the server.
