Auto refresh view from sqlPlus, how to?

I'm using Oracle11gr2, and I have a view views for monitoring database, but I dislike an ide of constant refresh of views at my oracle client (toad or another one)..
So, is there a way to show some view's in sql Plus all the time with some auto refresh?

Doesn't seem like sqlplus is the right tool for the what you are trying to accomplish. Don't get me wrong, it's great for "viewing" view information, but outside of manually entering a "/" to refresh the data you should look into writing your own or installing some monitoring software.

I would like to set up SPO to automatically create a new view, each time I add a new item to a certain list.
Specifically, I would like to have a list of projects and whenever I create a new project (item in that list) a new view should automatically be available, that would list files in the Documents folder of that site, filtered to show only ones related to
that new project.
I know how to filter out files but auto generation of views is something I can't grasp ATM.
Any ideas? I've been looking around for anything of the similar nature, and would be very glad for a hint of something that would even guide me to the right path!

No... I don't know the auto new view option (or how to enable that)
However, I've maybe a functional alternative:
Use a column (called Project for example) from the tipe: choose from a list
(in that other list you maintain your project lists)
You create a view on the document library with a group by on the project column
and if you add a new project and you upload a file and during the upload you choose for the column project the new project name, it will show as a collapse/expand option in that view.

currently of service....Your errors seems that you were using sqlplus in client not in server to shudown
database and try to startup database.
If so, you need to config your listener.ora with static listener as well as dynamic listener.

How to make SSRS 2008 charts auto refresh with IE9

I have some charts on an SSRS report. The report is set to auto refresh every 5 seconds. The charts refresh fine, displaying any data updates in the database --- as long as I use IE8 or Chrome (Chrome only displays the top 3 inches of
the report, though, so I can't use it). However, the charts refuse to auto refresh with IE9. Windows 7 doesn't have IE8. I cannot find a solution. How can I get IE9 to refresh the charts? (Plain data will refresh, but charts will
not.)

From your description, you set the report to refresh automatically and view it through Internet Explorer 9, however, the charts data of the report don't refresh properly although the plain text data of report refresh without problems.
The issue may be caused by a javascript error with resizing image in IE9. At this time, I suggest that you redesign the structure of your report by placing the charts in rectangles. If the charts are placed in tablix, please insert rectangles into the tablix
first.
As a workround, you can also downgrade IE9 to IE8. To do this, we can uninstall the installed update "Windows Internet Explorer 9" from contorl panel and Windows 7 will revert to IE8 automatically after rebooting. For more information, please see:

How to get ddls from sqlplus like that of TOAD

Hi,
I have to work on a terminal machine for a client where the TOAD is not installed. For my regular DBA activities I need to take the DDL many times.
I am very much used to the style of DDL scripts which TOAD 9.6.x.x gives for any object in a schema.
Can someone suggest how I can I get exactly TOAD-like scripts (which provide not just the create statements)
For e.g.

If the DDL returned by dbms_metadata is not to your liking then write your own scrips to generate DDL or cover scripts to generate all related items that you want.
In the case of synonyms and grants this is very easy using rdbms dictionary views, but if you generate a table's DDL you may also want and need the PK, UK, FK, secondary indexes, comments, and policies on the table as well as synonyms and grants. Everything that if you drop the tables goes away.
There is a dbms_metaddata procedure get_dependent_ddl to generate dependend objects on a table that may be of interest.

How to detach refresh button from address bar in the new UI of FF29?

IN FF28 it was possible to detach the refresh button from the address bar, but now the whole address bar is just one element. I am really used to have the button on the left side and not on the right side of the screen. I would love to have the opportunity back again to separate them!

As a developer of web pages, I often go through a cycle of looking at a web page I am developing, tweaking it, and refreshing the browser. No matter how many times I just proofread the content, I still find mistakes that need correction. So the view, correct, refresh cycle is so frequent that I need it to be efficient with well placed controls to accomplish the cycle.
I don't mind making the GUI extremely simple for the majority of users, but I am upset with how often these "improvements" make it difficult for the experienced user/developer to use the tool in the way that suits them.

i built few view's on 1 query in BI7. after i made a change in the query i haven't seen it in the view, why?
it's not refreshing automaticly from the query? and if it's not, how can i refresh the view?

Hi,
You need to refresh that view and once again save the view with changed settings. Then it will brings according to the query changes.Once check the variables also.

Imovie 09 How do I stop Imovie from auto importing video from iphoto.
Hi I've done a lot of searches on how to do this but no answers found.
Imovie is beginning to become really slow because of the large number of video's. It takes 3 minutes to startup. Editing is sometimes slow lot's of spinning beach balls e.t.c.
I would like to only import the video I want to edit and hopefully get a quicker Imovie in the process.
My Iphoto library is about 95 Gbyte in size.
My mac has 4 gb ram and I use the internal disk.
Any other ways to work with Imovie/Iphoto are also welcome.

I won't get iMovie 9 till Tuesday, but based on what you said I may need to take some precautions. One reason I didn't like iMovie 8 is because it automatically imported everything in iPhoto library. What I'm going to do is create a new iPhoto library before importing the photos/videos from the camera. Or if you already have it in your main iPhoto library copy only the photos you'll use in your iMovie 9 project to the new library. Then start iPhoto while pressing the option key which will allow you to select the new iPhoto library you have created. Then I suppose that when you start iMovie 9 it will automatically import only the photos/videos from the new library.

Now on click of a button on this embedded view I want to launch another view that is also created by me, in the same component in which I had created view A. But I do not know how to launch this second view

Hello Prafful,
I guess by launching you mean substituting one view by another. It can be achieved by declaring a navigational link in the runtime repository from one view to another. You have to create an event handler on the button and outbound plug in your view using the wizard. Then, on the event handler you call an outbound plug where you trigger a navigation using this navigational link and the view A will be replaced by view B.
A code which needs to be done in outbound plug:
me->view_manager->navigate(
source_rep_view = me->rep_view
outbound_plug   = 'NAVLINKNAME'
data_collection = iv_data_collection ).

Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default. You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, EasyFind, instead.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.
There are many utilities that can uninstall applications. Here is a selection:
